I've played it. It was good and fun and had a storyline that rivaled that of the original. My only problem was that unlike the first it was way two easy. It coulda been harder and then i wouldn't have traded it in once I had finished it.

Dark Cloud 2 is my 2nd favorite of all time, 1st one is Kingsdom Heatrs cause it kicks soo much ***, anyway Dark Cloud 2 is so unique in anyway, the 1st way ok but it was easy but this one all determins if you have the right things in your inventory, aswell the right wepons with you, someone said that this game was THE Lengend of Zelda for the PS2 who ever said that is right because it?s like The Legend of Zelda but more in freedom the people are sweet, the wepons are awsome, the story is to uncalled for which is really good, and the best thing about it is you can do anything in this game, who ever read this please when you see the game buy it, play it, and enjoy it. Although I wouldn't call it one of my "favorite games of all time," I don't think its a bad game. The first Dark Cloud, that was a bad game lol. Some of you might've liked it, but personally I thought it had several overwhelming flaws and the story wasn't very interesting. I think DC2 was a vast improvement over the first installment of the series. Although it wasn't amazing, kudos for fixing it up.

Yeah, the first one really did suck. Level 5 took that and totally revamped it in every possible way with the sequel. There's some annoying qualities to it, I suppose, but it's very well presented, looks great and there's just so much to do. The sidequests and minigames in Dark Cloud 2 are almost large enough to be their own separate game.

I wrote a massive impression thread on this when it first came out, but unfortunately no one seemed much into the game at the time.

What's wrong with the original Dark Cloud? The only thing that I really didn't like about it was that annoyingly depressing sound track in the third dungeon. Well that, and that three out of five characters were almost useless.

I liked Dark Cloud 2, though I never got around to finishing it during the time that I rented it. Maybe I'll go out and buy it.

I'm currently playing both Dark Cloud 1 & 2, and I like them both a lot. One of my favorite things about them is the weapon customization. But, Dark Cloud 2 made it so much easier! That's not a negitive, but I played the second one first, so it was much more difficult for me to go backward... :(

But I still love both of them, owning the second one and borrowing the first (I may as well buy the first one considering it was like 9 dollars two years ago... :animeswea ). Yeah. :D

This game is hardcore. One of the best "new" RPG games to ever grace the PS2. I bought this b**** in 2003 and I'm still nowhere near sick of it, and yes I have been playing it since...it's just that I can always find something good about the game no matter what. Although Monica's wardrobe is severly lacking, Max's makes up for it. I really wish Max could wear miner's goggles instead of that stupid Explorer's Helmet. Goggles would've been a fantastic item to buy in the Gundora Workshop.

The graphics, music, and artwork REALLY, REALLY play a large part in bringing me back, in addition to the extreme gameplay. I like games where you can change the way your characters look, because you'll be staring at them for hours on end and it's refreshing to be able to alter their appearance.

My largest complaint is that Max only has
two ACTUAL Legendary Weapons, and I won't include that sh**ty Big Bucks Hammer or whatever it's called. And here Monica has like six!! The Chronicle II is rockhardcore lol.
I really hate Monica's Armband weapon. Building it up takes forever and it's just weak to me, and I can't fire enough normal effective shots like I can Max's. So I end up buying a Name Change Ticket with medals and changing her current armlet to a 5-Star Armlet, lmao.

I really, really liked both games, but they both had small things about them that I didn't like...For instance, the first game had no voice-acting ( :animecry: ) and this. Yeah, remember that from the second dungeon? Ok, it was a good idea, but...*shudders*

The story was a little...lacking, I guess...but I never noticed ;)

The second game's georama system scared me...A little too much freedom for me, I guess...but these are little things that would most likely never annoy someone else, right? But, on the up side, the game was all around awesome and one of the most unique games I've ever played.

I rented the game once, and I really liked it, so I bought it. The only problem I have with it is that there's too much for me to do in to. I'm at the fourth town, and I'm half-way through the dungeon. I made the huge mistake of going to school, during which i have no time for gaming (untill weekends) so I left it for a while. A few days later I pick up the controller and think ~~~ Ok, today I'm going to beat the game! ~~~
But alas! What's this? An invention recipe? OHHHH! A windmill, a robot and a rent-a-cop? I know where those are!!!
So I end up running around doing meaningless tasks so I can invent a fish tank and abuse innocent fish -_-"

Wow...

This game has been out for about 3 years, but I'm gonna talk about it anyway. ! Oh, I sorta need a lil' help on it too, if any one is willing to help. Anyway, I love the story, art and gameplay of this game.

P.S. I can't find the belt in the first chapter(I know, sad). I found the pipe and Milk can, but the Belt is nowhere to be seen! Please help! I've tried all the big time strategy websites, but they don't help!
