komugi-chan
I have a new siggy I want to use, but everytime I type in the url of the image, then I click save sig, how come it doen't work? I look at some posts that I did, but everytime I make a post, I don't see my sig? One other question, how come you're not aloud to upload a sig from your machine(pc)? Plz help me. I need to know. ^^
Dagger
Well, you do need a site to host the image for you. It isn't a matter of you not being "allowed" to upload signature images directly from your computer; it simply doesn't work that way, that's all. Anyway, I took a look at the coding in your sig, and I don't think your picture was actually uploaded to ImageShack (or else, barring that, the URL you used is incorrect). When I copy & paste the image's URL to a new window, it just takes me to ImageShack's main page. ~Dagger~
komugi-chan
Well, that url was given to me by someone else. The first time, this was the url: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y289/akari-chan/kc8fh.jpg . That one didn't work either. --------------------- Edit: Never mind. I found my problem. I just typed it in wrong. This can be closed.
Kamuro
If you're looking for an alternate way to host your sig then try www.tinypic.com, it offers free hosting and its pretty quick. Sometimes photobucket images don't work for me either, plus the url's are always so long. Give this a try and as long as it complies with the forum rules and standards then it should work.
