Climbing aboard the Sea Wench Jura looked around, her pointed ears hidden under her long hair, she looked around and scoffed as she spotted the captin, Hedron, an old buddy of her's and a bum none the less.
"Hedron, how much longer must we wait for the others to board and get this thing into the sea?"
"Have patince young Jura...I'm sure more will be 'long any moment now."
"For your sake as well as that of Targos, I hope to the silve Selune you are correct. Do you know how many are joing the journey to Targos, answering the plea for help?"
"No clue 'ow many there'll be."
"Well I do hope there are enough to help the Ten-Towns."
Aye me too, Jura, how do suppose you'll fair in the port town of Targos?"
"I have not a clue Hedron, I just hope I'm not the only one on this wreck of a ship going to Targos...I do hope there are others..."
Jura walked to the side of the large ship and looked down onto the small port below, she sighed and looked at the sky, it was always black now that the mysterious Chimera had taken over nearly all the land around the Ten-Towns. she waited with what little patince she had for others to arrive and fall in for the town of Targos, and the other towns still left alive...She looked on as others began to board the boat, she could pick the rouges from the others, but one person caught her eye, he was a tiefling, he hid it well but he seemed to himself.
"Hedron, are these people who will be helping me on this fight?"
"I'm sure some of them are...And I assure you you will meet more in the twon of Targos."
"Yes I'm sure as well."
Another man stood beside her as the boat took to the sea and began to move. He looked at her and smiled.
"Can I help you?"
He just shook his head and walked away, laughing, Hedron came up beside her.
"Seems y'have a tough crowd in this one Jura."
"It would appear so."
"And it seems as if you have alot there that don't look to trust worthy."
"That is not a problem Hedron, i do not trust easily."
"You trust me."
She looked at him and smirked.

Vice watched from his corner of the crowd, taking careful note of each and every other member of this "team". Immdiately, he began stereotyping.

3 elfs... two regular humans and... A Teifling? He stopped looking around when his eyes met this one. Wings... He thought to himself. interesting. He looked away quickly because he had the feeling that she was about to go over and say hi. He continued to glance at the various races aboard the seawench.
His eyes narrowed at Quoben and Ky.

...Rogues.

"Hey everyone, look at all the freaks." A Playful voice chided. "Haha, just kidding, I'm Ky, who're you?" It was the man with a jacket and sweatband, but probably his memeorable features were his wide gray eyes, one of the regular humans.

"One of the rogues... A damned happy one too..." Vice muttered. Appearently Quoben had caught his negative comment towards Ky.

"What do you have against rogues?" He questioned defensively.
Vice turned his head, his hair shuffled across his face and over his eyes.

"None of your business Halfling..." Before he couldn't decide if this man was an elf or a human but he finally put his finger on it, this man was a half and half. He turned back.

"What?" His tone of voice rose a little bit. "Hey I'm talking to you." He replied to Vice's Silence.

"Yeah, and I'm ignoring you." Vice shot back without turning his head.
The man waited for a second, but didn't budge. He opened his mouth to talk but Vice cut him off.

"Are you trying my patience?" Vice turned his whole body this time, and tilted his head to one side for a second, allowing the hair to fall away from his now widened eyes. Quoben smirked this time.

"I'll try anything." He replied with a grin.

Trying to be a smartass...

"Trust me. You won't like it."

The man shrugged and walked away.

"Perhaps another time..."

Vice was already plotting his murder. He wouldn't carry out the plan of course, but it gave him something to do.

Ooc: sorry it was a small post, not much to do being the second poster.

Hue made her way onto the ship only packing a few things with her she set the bag at her feet :animesigh: and begain to look around. There where meny different kinds of people here.
"I wonder if they are all here to help?" She thought to herself.

She looked up and met the eyes of a man who had seemed to catch hers. Noticing her looking he turned away. "Another Teifling.....hmmm somethings very different about him..." She thought looking him up and down. :animeblush: Then it hit her....he resmebled Min...well except for not being and elf. He had the same eyes and his face resembled that of Mins.

"No im just seeing things...." she shook her head...letting the memories of Min fall away. She clutched the rose whip tightly as she made her way towards the strange man. He had his back turned talking to a halfling, or what seemed to be one. They had a few choice words and the little man walked away. Hue stopped feeling alittle unwelcome.
"This is a bad idea, maybe i should just go sit down" She thought as she began to feel more and more unwelcome amoung the others. She took a seat in an empty corner the cool brisk air blowing through her long red hair.

"Maybe someone will come and say hello, i sure hope so it will be a long trip without any friends or at least someone to talk to" she thought stairing at the dark sky.

ooc:Halfling are the middle earth hobbits not halfbreeds and seen as though I half elven blood I look like a short elf not a halfling, just telling you.I asked Lyuann by the way

Quoben went invisable, he did not trust this Tiefling, it seemed he was an assassin or something malicious.Quoben was not very trusting of these people, he went and sat with the other elves. He blended in.
He readied his crossbow, just incase. Then he came out of invisibility. "I hate the sea" he complained "... I'd rather stay in the woods, where it's safe, in the sea there's stuff like Lacedons and merrows." He shivered.
"Are we going then?" He asked. He was very talkative probaly because he was nervous about everything, that guy, the sea.

Daergar stayed close to the rail when he got on the boat or to be more exact perching dangerous half on the ship and the other in mid air. His spraying over the edge made everyone decide to think of him as some lousy drunkard even though he thought that it was still a couple of days left and he was spending his earnings from a previous robbery.
Anyway he just barely pulled through on that gig because of an incredibly short tempered mage which didn't take kindly for Daergars break in.
He bought himself back to reality quite disgustingly by unloading another wave of vomit over the edge into the water. "I'm dying aren't I?" He said to no one in particular and even though he knew it was justa hangover it was still one which would have bought an Ogre down to his knees.

His question was awnsered by a concerned glance from one of the rogues and nothing else occured. Daergar groaned andreachedinto his pack for one of his few potions of Aid so that he could at least not drive everyone away. Hehated imself for doing this becausethese potions were gifts/prizes that he had earned from the theives guild of Luskan but emergencys called for one to do unnatural things.
Daergar glanced at the captian and nodded his approval then turned and joined the others although he pinched a couple of coins from the closest sailor just for the hell of it.

Ooc: Are you talking about me? Well If you are we are going to pretend it was someone else because I can't heal, I wouldn't help a drunkard, rogue, thief, or anyone else for that matter :/ Plus, I don't carry money, I don't buy thing,s if I want something. I get it, whether you like it or not. :animeangr
:D So anyways yeah that obviously wasn't me right now?

Vice saw the other tiefling's attempt to talk. But she held her toungue.
pff. Smart Girl. He thought to himself, but then he saw how she looked a bit lonely...
Why should I... care? He couldn't help but feel something for her. The way she reminisced about his face... What could she be thinking?
Perhaps I should talk to her... Only to find out what she was thinking though...He thought, although that was quite an understatement.

He strolled over to where she was sitting.
She snapped out of her thought and smiled. Vice didn't smile back, perhaps if he usually did he would, but it was a habit not to. It was O.K. because she ignored it anyways.
"Hi. My name's Hue. What's yours?"
"...Vice." He almost grunted.
There was an awkward silence and Vice's curiosity forced him to open up a bit.
"Before... You were staring... What were you thinking about me?"
"Oh." Her gaze diverted to the floor. "N-Nothing." Her hand clasped tightly around the whip in her hand. Vice noticed this and asked:
"Oh, I see. Just fantasizing?" Vice grinned a little, which didn't come out to well because all of Vice's smiles seemed very malevolent.
"Ha. You wish." Hue smiled, looking back up at Vice. "Hey so are you a teifling too?"
Vice's smile slowly turned into a regular line across his face.
"Yes..." He then walked back to his corner.
Hope this ride goes by fast... He muttered inaudibly.

Hue could not help but feel a long forgotten feeling when Vice talked to her. His voice was not like Mins, his held secreats. She felt her cheeks begin to reden, why did he remind Hue so much of Min. Then a crazy thought crossed her mind, no that cant be they arnt even the same race. Hue looked away, well at least someone has talked to me. I hope we will be getting to land soon.
Its not that she didnt like the sea she loves the water she just didnt feel to comfortable around these people. She doesnt know them, she would usualy be introducing herself to everyone but she couldnt help but feel shy.

The wind was not blowing at all and she wonderd if maybe she got it blowing if it would make the trip go faster. Hue stood up and turned her back to the rest of the crue. She began to sing a simple spell. Her voice was like that of an angels she was a very gifted bard. The wings on her back grew and begain to flutter. The winds began to pick up blowing through the sails. The louder Hue sang the more powerful the spell got, and soon the boat began to move faster and was now going at a steady speed. There that should get us there faster she thought to herself singing the last virse of the spell. :animesmil

She smiled to herself and turned back around. To her surprise everyone was stairing at her. Everyone except Vice, he seemed lost in his thoughts.

:animeblus "Oh I thought maybe if i made the winds blow harder we would get there faster.....ummm i hope i didnt interupt anyone," she smiled at everyone still giving her blank looks. She sat back down feeling alittle proud of herself..she felt kindof upset that Vice did not hear her singing. "What wait why do i care..." she said aloud not relizing it. A few people gave her weird looks. She staired back down at her whip. She looked up again her eyes resting on Vice. She really wants to see what he is hiding, he seems troubled by something. She couldnt help but feel a strange connection with the other Tiefling.

Jura looked around at her crew and sighed.
"This is gonna be a long trip Jura."
"I'm aware of this Hedron."
She walked around and found a nice little barrel, empty of corse and threw it against the side busting it, she smiled as they all stared at her.
"I've had enough of this shit! We either get along, or I make this ship stop here, in the middle of no-where and we wait til we all can get along. I don't trust a singal one of you, but that doesn't mean when the time comes I won't call on you to help me fight. Now you can all straighten up or jump overboard. I could care less. And you two!," She pointed to Vice and the other rouge. " I hear any more squabbles I'll end em my-self."
Vice stood and looked at her showing her both his eyes, she turned her head sideways and studied him. She smiled at him and walked over.
"You think you firghten me? Nothin on the face of this planet frightens me anymore Tiefling. So don't try it. I don't think you want to."
She looked him over more, she walked around more and sat down to her-self. The ship was silent now...she wanted it to stay that way as she retreated into her own thoughts.

Vice slouched over, his hair covering his face, he looked hurt. But that wasn't quite it...
His head whipped up and he glared back at Jura with a manic grin.

"...I wasn't trying."

There was an awkward silence and it finally settled in to everyone that this guy was kind of a psycho... People looked at eachother and exchanged crooked grins, they didn't know if they should laugh or frown but no one really wanted to ask, or talk at all.

Jura looked a bit annoyed however, it seemed she wanted the silence to... stay silent.

Well Jura, people don't always get what they want... He thought bitterly. "Frightens me anymore, Tiefling..." Played over and over in his mind...
Tiefling.... I'll tie her to a cross and burn her up-side down...

There Vice went again with his silent murder plots... But that word... Tiefling always made Vice think.

What would have happened if I was born in the Aasimar bloodline? He gazed down at the palm of his white leather gloves, clenching and un-clenching his fists.

He gazed up at the sails,

How did we get so much wind? Well, whatever, at least we have some wind.

A voice trailed into his mind... A beautiful singing voice, like the voice of his sister... Who could it have been? He glared around at all the people who were now regulating their activities, Already forgetting about everything that had happened earlier. He could only imagine it would be maybe a day at the most left on the ship. The sun seemed to be a couple hours away from setting... And by the shadows on the ship he could only guess it was about 4:30 - 5:00.

HE slowly retreated to one of his cabins. He wasn't sure which one was his however, he could go back and ask that captain... Hedron was his name? Whatever, I'll just pick one, if they have a problem they can deal with it. He stepped forward, clasped the silver doorknob with his white leather glove, making a squeaking sound as he turned it and opened the door.

Ooc: Aren't there other people? Because we're kind of leaving them in the dust... I know Ky Weather-something hasn't posted yet but that may be it actually.

Ky just looked at Jura with a pained look in his eyes.

"What did I do to deserve that?" He asked, under his breath. "I haven't caused a single problem, yet they always wanna blame the rouge. Oh well, if that's the way it's gotta be."

He sighed. As his eyes wandered from one side of the boat to the other he saw the quiet Tiefling sitting by herself. He approached her.

"Thanks for the wind boost. Personally, I wanna get the hell off this raft before we tear each other apart." He said with a slight chuckle. "By the way, I'm Ky. Ky Weatherlight, The Greatest Wanderer You've Never Heard Of."

Jura chimed in from across the boat, "You make one more comment about this boat, and I'll throw you overboard personally Rouge!"

"Yeesh, what crawled up her ass?"

That comment got a slight reaction from the Tiefling.

"I'm Hue, and I think you'd better quiet down before she really does throw you off."

"I'm used to it. Seeing as how most people see Rouges as little more than glorified bandits. They seem to forget that we can also save their asses from an ambush by scouting ahead a short distance. Isn't that right...uh..." He motioned towards the other Rouge, who promptly gave him the cold shoulder.

"Brr...I've been hit by Ice spells warmer than that."

"Well its very nice to meet you Ky, I hope we can become friends" She smiled and held out her hand. Ky looked at her with a smile and shook her hand.

"Im sure we dont have much longer now, Im mean it feels like we've been out here forever...and my legs are starting to cramp up from sitting down." Hue looked around for a clear spot to streach and spread out her wings. Not much luck the boat was pretty packed. :animesigh "Guess I'll just have to wait untill we reach land to give my poor wings a go" she said touching her butterfly wings.

Hue looked around and noticed that Vice was gone..."I wounder if what Jura said up set him...I hope she isnt like that to all Tieflings :( Hmmmmm " Hue stood up and began to turn around when she heard a strange sound coming from outside the boat. Hue gazed over the side........"BwaaaahHH! :animestun W-WHAT IS THAT!!!" screaming she fell on her bum. Large tentical like arms flopped onto the deck, grabbing the polls of the sails and pulling itself up. Now you could see its face, it was nothing like Hue had ever seen.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" the monster screamed and wrapped one of its tenticals around Hues leg. "WAHHH LET GO OF ME!!" Grabbing out her whip but the monster knocked it away. The Monster begain to lift Hue up high into the air.

"LET GO OF ME YOU BIG MONSTER," she tried to sing but the monster quickly wrapped a large tentical around her mouth.
"MMMMMMMMMHHMM *%$#!!!" Hue screamed out muffled words..."

The rest of the crew witnessing all of this and ready them selves to fight the monster.

"I will be gone,
in this place,
i'll move around
and find my space."Quoben chanted, he dissappeared, he was a bard aswell.Quoben climbed around the boat and slid into the water, he swam underneath this beat, a kraken it appeared See why I don't like the sea he thought to himself, he drew his blade and thrusted up.The kraken had two choices, persist in attacking the boat why being slashed by Quoben below or let the people go and take Quoben. Quoben hoped it picked the latter... Instead he dragged Hue down and then attacked Quoben, it was smarter than most are. Now they were both trapped under water with this beast. he thrusted desprately at the tentacle holding the woman, blood sprayed through the water and Quoben was runnign out of breath, he didn't stop though. The kraken whipped Quoben around, he was bleeding. I was out of breath, he inhaled water and vicously swiped at the Kraken's tentacle, The Kraken let go in pain but Quoben was drowning. As he struggled to stay alive he still persistently fought. He eventually gave in and went unconsious.

Hedron ran to the side and threw a rope around one of the tenticals and lashed to the ship holding it down tightly.
"This is why I don't like whelps upon my ship."
Jura took off her over shirt til she was in just a white under shirt, her black pants and boots still on she ran to where she saw Vice enter and kicked the door open.
"We have some company, care to make it feel welcome?"
She ran to the other side of the boat where Ky was looking for Hue and Quoben.
"I don't see them Jura..."
"Bloody hell..."
She handed him a rope and tied it around her-self and gave it to Ky, pulling Vice by tyhe shirt she gave the end to him.
"I'm going in, when I tug, pull."
They nodded an watched as she ran to the other side and ran back leaping off and into the water, as she fell down she unsheathed her dagger and caught the side of the beast and drug down making a huge gash. She dived into the water and found Quoben first. Pulling the dagger up and into the beast she pulled down and across cutting him lose, she tugged on the rope and felt the others pulling her up, she threw Quoben onto the deck before they got her aboard and let go again and fell back into the water, she than searched for Hue, finding the female Tiefling she did the same , cutting her loose she made sure she was back aboard and safe.
"That should do it. Hedron! Get this piece of shit out of this thing's range."
"On it Jura!"
She sttod infront of the others smileing, Vice looked at her, she knew he didn't like her all that well, but he would get over it. Ky looked astonished that she would go that far. She was about to take a step when she felt the tentical wrap around her ankle and try to drag her down.
"Oh, I don't think so ugly bastard."
She took the bastard sword from her back and made a clean, quick swipe across and kicked the tentical off the ship. She held up and piece that was left on board from their escape.
"I think I know what's for dinner..."
SHe looked around and looked at Hue and Quoben, both had been revived and were being looked after. Quoben looked at her.
"Why did you do something that crazy?"
"My crew comes first. I may be mean, and a bit judgemental, but nothing comes between me and my crew. Nothing."

Ooc: Aww, not that Vice doesn't like you, he's just... An unfriendly person in General.
Vice: Shut up before I rip your head off.
Me: See? T_T Even his creator...

Vice managed a fake cough.

"If you want to fry up and eat your decapitated tentacles, have fun, just don't burn the ship down."

Vice still clasped the rope. Something caught his eye, it was a long black rope layed out across the floor. He went over and picked it up, it was Hue's whip. He coiled it around his fist and walked over to Hue.

"Doesn't look like this came in much handy." Vice handed the whip back to Hue.

"Yes well... It was just lucky I didn't get the chance." She took the whip and tucked it into her belt, then wiped her mouth with her sleeve. "Ugh... Kraken slime... disgusting."

"Actually, quite a flavorful delicacy where I come from. Try it."

Hue gave Vice an odd look, more like a Where'd you come from? look. Then, hesitantly, she brought her arm up to her mouth, vice grabbed it before she could lick it.

"Just kidding, it's quite poisonous really. Good thing you didn't swallow."

"Hey!" Hue jokingly hit Vice in the arm with a smile."I could have died!"

"Oh that's right..." Vice smiled his evil grin. "Now why did I stop her..."

"Hey!"

"Ha. Just kidding." Vice turned around and walked away.

"His humor is hazardous to my health..." Hue muttered. "Min wouldn't do something like that..." She was still stuck on the impeccible similarities between the two.

Vice stopped and looked out over the sea. Vice pondered deeply on Hue's smile. Her voice, her face, it seemed so much like her... Then he remembered how she jokingly hit his arm.

Just like old times with Iori... He closed his eyes. The thing that disturbs me however... His eyes now attentive and wide open. Is that on this boat I am completely powerless... I can't use water, and can't use the wood on this boat, if I did the boat itself would crumble. If I had studied forms I could have done more...

Vice reflected on his days at the academy. He recalled how a chosen few were selected to learn Forms... These forms included Aquatic Form, Travel Form, Sky Form... Druids had quite a large range of abilities they could use however it would take forever to learn them all. There was also a selected few who learned healing spells, they could rejuvanate injured people or plants and many other things. Others were taught Feral Combat, this form of fighting used clawing, circling, swiping, and biting. Ferals could leap higher distances than usual humans and balance much better, as well as being much faster and stronger. Vice had learned a beginner type of feral fighting, called snow leapard. Not many could learn this style but Vice, because of his slightly longer than usual arms and legs, could master this style quickly. But of course he couldn't use this against the Kraken, he'd have to fly up and attack at the same time.

Against that monster I was totally powerless...

The ship was making steady progress, he was informed that they would make it within 11 hours. Right now it was seven o'clock,. so when they arrived it would be six. Not bad... Vice retreated back to his cabin, there he sat and intertwined his fingers.

Only thing to do now is wait...

"DINNER!" someone on the deck called. Vice's stomach growled, and he realized that he did want some food. He strolled up on to the deck and everyone was led into a medium sized room, just enough to find their seats but whatever unlucky souls sat in the back could no longer move to get out. The dinner was set before them, mashed potatoes, twice-baked potatoes, and potato wedges lay before them.

Hedron gave a nervous smile while rubbing the back of his head. "Er... we had a lot of potatoes you see..."

"I could have put everyone in danger..." Hue thought as she travled off to a corner of the ship. After the attack she didnt feel much like eating. "How could i have been so powerless aginst that monster?" She looked out into the sea not standing as close to the edge as she had before. Hue turned around and desided to go and find her room. She felt very tired and wanted to be alone for a few hours before they got on land. She grabbed her bag which was still in the same spot she set them down in when she arrived, and headed toward the cabins.

She didnt know which one was hers so she just picked one that was empty; except for a bed and a small chest and lantern. She set her bag down and opened it up. She desided to change out of her wet clothes and into something more dressy and comfortable. She began to pull out articals of clothing unitll she seemed to have found what she wanted. It was a long white gown. It was her mothers. Shortly before Hue left her fathers he gave it to her as a going away gift.

Hue began to undress herself, using a simple levitation spell to rase up her wet clothes into the air so they would dry, and put on the white gown. Hue smiled at this she had never warn a nice dress before and felt very gorgous and pretty in it. She let out her wings and gave them a good streach, and then began searching through her bag again. This time she pulled out a few candles, a small white handled atheme, and an incence.

Hue proceeded to walk to the center of the room, taking the atheme she raised it above her head. She begain to speak in elvish, which she had learned from Min, soon the dagger began to glow a beautiful blue. She lowered the atheme down so now it was pointing at the ground. She uttered a few words , her voice begining to echo, and the glow from the dagger flowed out the tip of the knife and onto the ground. Hue begain to walk, letting the blue light form a circle which she was in the middle of. With the other contents she had gathered in the circle she said a small prayer and set the atheme down which had stopped glowing.

She picked up the four candles, each a color to represent the four elements of the four cardnel directions:
Choleric (Fire) south
Sanguine (Air) East
Melancholic (Water) West
Phlegmatic (Earth) North

She then begain to walk to each direction setting the right color down and lighting it , and saying a small invocation. With all the candles in their right place she picked up the incence and lit it. With this she made a small pentical with the smoke of the incence; above the north candle. The symbol began to glow the light aluminating the room. Hue said some more words in elvish and set the incence down sticking it in a crack in the floor to hold it up. She then sat down in the center of the circle. She closed her eyes and begain to clear her mind. She soon began to fall in a deep trance. The pentical infront of her glowing brightly. She then begain to sing, her voice filled up the room bouncing off the walls. Her voice echoed out her room and down the hall filling the air. Sounding almost as pure and beautiful as a sirens call. She continued singing feeling herself become more and more rested and slowly regaining her strength back.

Jura had walked into the dineing hall and placed a plater of fish down infront of everyone and smiled as they had dug in, Vice had looked at her strangley agian. She smiled. She was begining to warm up to her crew. After all they would save her life some day, they already had. She looked at her crew in turn and noticed Hue was missing. She walked outside and heard the music, she leaned against the rail of the ship and sighed. She wasn't sure how this was gonna go anymore. She looked out into the night fog and squinted for a moment and than frowned, she looked harder and cursed.
"Goblin ship...."
She raced across the deck as arrows flew into the wood behind her, she hit the door to the dineing hall and cursed as an arrow hit her shoulder, blood blossomed from her shirt. She flung open the door and ripped the arrow out. she looked at the others and sighed.
"In other words, we are under attack."
Quoben looked up.
"Again?"
"Well, going to Targos was a risk you took it, deal with it."
She ran to Hue's room and knocked.
"We have problems...care to help?"
She ran back and looked at Vice, She nodded.
"There's an island not to far from here if you care to try... I can smell the sand from here. Not even a mile."
She drew her sword as grapling hooks hit the side and began to cut them loose.
"Vice, if you want to prve yourself, now's the time."
She burnt a goblin as it climbed aboard with a quick flame.
"Vice! You are not the only one on this ship, I know you don't think you can trust us...but even if you don't. Your in danger to. This ship goes down...ALL of us go down."
She went back with the others cutting away goblins as they boarded.

"Oh great, Another perfect day on the Swords Coast" Daergar yelled out loud to his temporary allies as he drew both his rapier and a dagger from their sheathes and immediatly put them to work. He took out the hamstring of one goblin from underneath it and during that movement threw the dagger into the shin of another one that was leaping onto the ship which bought it falling down face first onto the planks but before Daergar could move to finish it off Vice bought a foot down onto the neck, succesfully snapping it.

"Oi, Get your own!" He shouted out to Vice and moved to block a blow from another of the seemingly endless amounts of Goblins. A second goblin jumped into the fray and now Daergar was in trouble. "No matter how poor a Goblin fights you cannot let them gang up on you" Daergar told himself silently as he spun his rapier in a small circle to deflect one blow, It was Just enough to stop a second goblin sword from diving to deep into his right shoulder. Daergar pulled backwards in pain then weakly thrusted into the chest of one goblin and the other, beleiving that it had won, whooped loudly and fell for Daergars feint. The Goblin missed on its frenzied swing and was knocked off of its feet by a quick leg sweep from Daergar which was followed up with a stab with the rapier to the throat which finished it off. Daergar wrapped his free hand over the wound which stained his Grey Undershirt crimson and turned to face another Goblin and gripped his rapier tightly, If he went down then he would go down fighting.

"Sand?" Vice looked up. "Haha... My powers descontruct the ground I'm on and put them to different uses. So... What if I'm standing on their ground?"
Everyone looked up now, they caught wind of his plan and all nodded in agreement.

"I can take their ship down but there are still too many on this ship..."

Goblins were now infesting the Sea Wench, there were at least thirty on the ship, and still sixty or seventy left, being saved for a second wave. Vice took a running start and flipped into the air, curling up and landing in a crouched position on the goblin's boat. Contrary to his original plan, he didn't have time to use his geomancy because the goblins immediately began swarming around him.

"Aah..." It wasn't exactly a scream because Vice wasn't very good at emotions but it was a distress call nonetheless. Vice balanced on his albows and spun around making a copter kick with his long legs, throwing back goblins who were armed with short swords. But from above arrows were being shot. When Vice flipped up he didn't have time to do anything, he could only lift up his arms in defense.

"CRACK!" a long whipping sound was heard and Vice lowered his arms to see what happened. It was Hue, she had used her whip to skillfully ricochet the arrows in different directions, some cracking and scattering across the deck.

"Do it now!" She demanded as she whipped away a few approaching goblins. "I'll cover you."

"When I say, you take me and fly up out of here." Vice mumbled as he planted his feet firmly on the ground, back to back with hue. He put his hands out infront of him and made a triangular shape. His eyes closed as he thought about the dimensions of the ship, what would be the best way and how he could do it. At first he thought of cracking the floorboards of the ship, but there were much too many. The ship had a lower deck and was bigger than they all thought at first, he needed something that would be enough even if it only affected the top deck.

"Any time now..." Hue said as she struggled with the mass amount of Goblins attacking all at once.

His eyes shot open, strained with red.

"PETRIFY." He smiled manically as the ground he was standing on hardened. It was turning a deep shade of slate gray. "Now Hue!" Hue made another crack of her whip as she grabbed Vice with her other arm, spreading her wings out revealing their whole and illustrious beauty. She whipped away the goblins one last time, shouting "HOPE YOU CAN SWIM!"

She and Vice flew back to their boat and landed gracefully. The spot that Vice had been standing on started to spread and the rest of the top deck matched the shade of slate gray Vice had started. The whole top of the wood was turning to stone, and slowly you could hear a cracking sound as the top deck was now too heavy for the bottom deck to support. All at once the ship crashed down and a solid floor of stone sank to the bottom, goblins and all.

"You can do that?" Someone asked.

"Not usually, but because of damp conditions in the sea I could do it this time." Vice replied.

But there was no time to talk, many of the goblins were flaoting out into the sea but some were still left on the boat. Vice hooked one goblin under the neck with his foot, he then used his hands to stand on as he did a front handspring and flung the goblin off the boat. The battle went on as the goblins started to smash the floor of the ship with their warclubs. One came up from behind and smashed Vice in the arm as he spun around, the spikes on the club stuck into his arm and when it pulled out blood oozed from the wound.

"Ugh, little..." Vice kicked it in the face as it pulled back its club to fling again. Behind it Ky stabbed it and threw it overboard. "What a waste of life." Vice grunted as he gazed at the goblin struggling to swim.

"STOP THEM!" Jura shrieked, quite aware that the ship would start filling up with water soon if they weren't stopped.

Ooc: Whoot! More excitement! But... let's land on land soon k? ^^;

"This is not good damnit!"
She ran to the side of the ship and opened a door.
"Hedron, we could use a little help."
Hedron came from the cabin, a giant war axe in hand and began to wipe the goblins from the ship.
"Hoe much onger til Targos Hedron?"
"Not long Jura, bout' an hour or so."
She growled as a goblin dagger snak into her leg.
"I am so sick of these bastards I could die!"
Her eyes filled with falmes as her temper rose, Hedron saw the look and grabed Hue away from Jura.
"I'd get back if I were you lassy, Jura may not have many fire powers to her magic, but when she's pissed, well, call out for barbeque."
She walked slowly across the deck, goblins that touched her burst into flame and died. She grabed a hold of a rope and stood on the edge of the ship, she looked and her crew and her old teper was back, she winked at them and smiled.
"Good luck."
She took the rope and swung off the ship into the water. Hue looked at Hedron.
"She'll be killed, there are tomany goblins in teh water!"
"She's knows what she's into Hue."
Jura swam under the boat and found a crack in the hull, her thoughts weer that of not good. She swam to the water outake pipe and found the problem, a goblin had gotten stuck in it, that's why they weren't moving. She grabed the dead goblin by thre throat and tugged hard dislodgeing the body the ship began to move slowoly away from teh horde in the water. She came up for air to see the Sae Wench sailing away from her.
"Quoben! Throw me a rope!"
A rope lnaded in the water next to her but when she was brought upon the deck she saw that the one who had pulled her up, was Ky.
"I geuss I should thank you."
She took her boot and kicked a dead goblion from the deck.
"We should be there soon."
She had her hadn to her side from a shallow stab there, her leg and shoulder also bleeding, but she was holding up fine.
"Lets get some rest everyone...we've got a lot to do whe nwe get there..."
She waslked away and to her cabin closing the door.

"Gobins are not my favorite creatures. Goblins are not my favorite creatures, Goblins are not . . ." Shea'ann repeated over and over. She knew she mustn't hate anyone or anything, but these lousy pirates were coming very close.

There she was, minding her own business on her ship, traveling toward Ten-Towns of the Icewind Dale when, wham!, goblins everywhere. She had been hit over the head as she had tried to Heal a wounded sailor, and the next thing she knew, she was waking up chained to side of a ship's hold. And the ship wasn't the one she had started in. She was cramped, hungry and angry, but she couldn't get her hands free so she could work her spells. If it hadn't been for her dusky skin, she knew she wouldn't have made it this far alive, but she also knew that they planned to sell her as a plaything to the evil elves of the the underdark. This notion did not appeal to her at all.

All of a sudden, there was a large commotion on the deck above. Lots of running and grunting. She would have givin her front teeth to know what was happening. Then, the floorboards above her began to change -- to stone. This may or may not be a good sign. she thought. As a precaution, she set a shield spell about her. That one, at least, she could do without needing her hands. Not a moment too soon, it seemed, because just as she had completed it, the ship splintered under the deck's new weight. Taking a deep breath, and praying her spell held, she closed her eyes and left everything up to the Dawn Lord.

Just as she began to run out of air, Shea'ann felt herself being tugged upwards by her wrists. Beautiful daylight surrounded her, and she gasped in huge breaths of air, trying to ease her burning lungs. Increadibly, she had been saved by the hunk of the hull that she was chained to. It had floated to the surface and taken her with it. One of the brackets of her manacles was in the center of a crack, so with a few minutes work, she managed to work it loose. The cuff was still attached to wrist, but as least she could move one arm freely.

Shea'ann looked about, and saw another ship, probally the one the goblins had been trying to attack. She attempted to sense magic, and then chuckled to herself. Duridic Magic. They chose the wrong vessle to take on. She sensed a few other types of magic, but nothing she could pinpoint from this distance. She threw up a large, rose colored light spell as a distress signal, and prayed to Lathander that they would see her as a friendly and rescue her.

Jura heard them throw the rope to Shea'ann but didi not venture out to meet her, she was to deep in thought.
'Goblins, on water...it's not natrual, this Chimera has more power than we're giving him...'
She looked at her wounds and was glad when 10 minutes later she heard the ship dock in Targos. She retreated from her cabin dressed in her normal attire, a white cloak about her shoulders now. She looked at her crew in turn and sighed.
"we'll split up for now, meet at the Inn at sundown, til than stock up on supplies you need and feed yourselves, your in a town, you can do that for your selves this time without cooks. And Hedron, go see your mother, I'm sure she's worried."
Hedron scoffed and smiled.
"She's fine."
"This place has been inveaded by goblins, more than once by the looks of it. Go and check on her."
He nodded and she tunred headding down the north alley as the others split off as well. She was limping slightly for the wound on her leg, but she held her composure well.

As he moved along the rooftops he came upon a female, limping along. She of course looked as if she was fine and could hold her own, but the blood said differently. He jumped down landing softly and quietly in front of her.
"Can I assist?"
He spoke in a deep yet soothing voice. She gave him a weird look and tried to move around him. He moved in front of her.
"I mean you no harm, just to help. Look at the wound... You can pretend all you want, but you are still injured."

Jura frowned slightly.
"I don't need help, I'm fine on my own..."
She made to move around him again and sighed as he wouldn't let her.
"What do you want? I am just going through so I can get supplies. I'm fine stranger. Thanks though."
She knew she was being alittle cold but she was tired, and hurt and just wanted to find the inn so she could rest. She knew he meant her no harm but with the foul trip she had just gotten through with, she could care less. Sea monsters, and Goblins. She was tired. She tunred to go another way and blinked as her was there.
"You don't give up do you? What's you name stranger?" She looked up at him trieing to see beneath the robe.

"To be honest, no I don't."
He pointed his palm, open handed, at her wound.
"Ano tera nomar."
The wound emited a strange glow. The wound slowly mended itself.
"My name isn't nessesary. All you need to know is get away safely and soon. There is an evil approching. It wants..."
He closed his eyes...not that she could see it.
"..you..."

Vice walked unhappily down the dirt covered streets of the open market. It was fortunate that they landed on a cloudy day, Vice did not take a liking to the sun... Too bright... A ball plopped down in front of his feet.

"Hey you! With the hair!" Vice turned as he realized he was being adressed. "Get the ball!" The kid demanded.

Vice looked down at the green rubber ball.

"That's the one..." The kid said mockingly in a deep voice as if addressing a baby. "Now bend down, pick it up, and throw it here." He continued in a mocking voice, turning to his friends and snickering.

Vice picked up the ball and brought it over to one of the boys. The boy extended his hand and Vice grabbed it, dropping the ball and wrapping his other arm fully around his neck and putting him in a headlock. Vice got very close to his ear.

"Move, and I'll snap your neck."

"Mo... Mo... MOMM-" The boy was cut off by Vice squeezing harder on his neck.

"Hm... Lucky I don't want blood on my shirt today..." Vice took the boy's wallet in one fluid movement. Looking inside and releasing the kid.

"HEY! GIVE IT BACK!" The boy whined.

"Sure." Vice pulled out seven crisp one-hundred dollar bills. "I don't need it." He threw back the empty wallet.

Vice kicked the ball across the street and continued to walk to get to his supplies.

"I'LL CALL THE COPS!" He shouted after Vice. Vice turned and gave the boy a malicious grin and glare.

"Well I can't have that..." He took one step forward and the boys scattered. He then bent down and picked up a coin.

"Shiny." He then walked to an open booth and began his buying of various items.
