RPG Resident Evil: Raccoon's Requiem [M-VL]

Akina starred as Vahn walked away from the group.

"I didn't mean to insult him. I was just trying to lighten the mood." She stated quietly. After only moments of him being gone, she took off after him.

"Akina where are you going?" Rayne called after her.

"I can't leave him, its too dangerous for anyonew to be alone." She replied over her shoulder as she kept going. "Try and stay where we can find you, I'll bring him back."

Akina heard a loud crash come from down the stairs, she follwed the sound the find a dead dog lying on the floor and the door to the basement open. She walked toward the door when another dog lept from behind a desk attacking her. She cursed herself as its teeth sank into her sholder, and she cried out.

Gado ran into the room that he heard the scream in and saw the half-disolve dog holding onto a girls shoulder,"Damn! Het off of her!" He grabbed the dog and ripped the bottom jaw off. He then grabbed the dog by the neck and threw it out the window, to the steet below.

"Bobby, find some bandages!" Gado picked the girl up and sat her in the chair behind the dest.

"Got 'em Gado. Here." Bobby handed Gado a roll of gauz and some bandage tape.

"You ok girl? This really isnt a place for little kids is it?" Gado smiled a little as he cleaned and wrapped the wound.

"Umm, thanks."

"You alone? Cause if you are, your lucky to be alive." Gado said as he stood up and looked out the window, the street filling with the walking dead.

"No, there are three more of us. Oh wait, I was trying to find Vahn. Sorry I have tofind him." She stood up and walked out of the room and started walking down the hall.

"Bobby, we are going to fallow her. This Vahn guy may know where the ammo is." Bobby nodded as they began to walk behind the girl.

Vahn was sulking, leaning against a wall. He heard foot steps, but these were catious, not like the feet were dragging.

"Hello?" He called, and peeked. Akina and another two people were coming down the hall.

"Wo are you?" Vahn asked.

"I'm Gado, and this is Bobby."

"Hi." Vahn took a wobbly step, and fell. "Damn....." He looked down at his leg, some how he had injured it. His shoulder was bleeding pretty bad as well.

"That looks nasty..." Bobby comented, and Vahn shot him a look. "My pretty body needs not to be commented on..."

"Huh??? You queer???" Bobby has look almost like fear.

"You're noty exactly my type. Now is not the timne for flirting anyway." Vahn stands, and takes a deep breath. "wow thius hurts."

"Come on..... we got to get going...." Akina looks down the dark passage. "I hear something.. and i don't like it."

"I do too...... and it's understandable. Whatever it is, it's big."

A deep rumbling could be heard, and all of them hurried out of the basement. They met up with Jack, and took off down the street.

"Hey...." Vahn starts, sitting down. "We have to go to the Zoo...." Vahn was sitting and all the sudden some thing reached out and grabed him and pulled him into the darkness. All the others could hear was frightened and tortured gasps and screams, until Vahn emerged, bloody and looking like he was pissed. In his hand, he dragged a mutilated monkey. It had been infected by the T-virus, and all of the animals had escaped. Some were wandereing the city, like this monkey.

"as i was saying, before this sucker interupted me," Vahn guestured torwards the monke, and tossed it away into a dumpster, " We need to go to the Zoo. in the emplyee parking lot, in the back, my car is sitting... hopefully untouched. I have the anti-virus... but only enough a few people... I stole it... i knew this was going to happen... I was hoping it wouldn't... Human error always happens at the worst times. I stole the vaccine for research purposes.. and as a way to bring Umbrella down."

Akina listened, but only distantly. The pain in her shoulder was driving her mad, not to mention the anger she felt. [I]' How could I be so careless, now I'm just going to become a burden.'[/I] Akina thought to herself.

"So what happens when we get to the zoo? Do you have a plan for then, or we just wingin it?" Bobby asked quickly. "I mean what happens if we get there and things just get worse?"

"Thats were the antidote is, beside two of us are already infected." Vahn stated glancing over at Akina, who was starring down at her feet.

"Right then, should we keep movin then?" Rayne asked motioning for them to move on.

"True, no reason for us to sit here anylonger." Jack added shifting as he glanced down both directions of the street. The small group began to move on toward the zoo.

[I]I'm not even sure where the zoo is. I don't think I've been there yet.[/I] Rayne thought to herself. Even if she had been there as recently as last week, with all that had happened recently, she probably wouldn't remember it.

"Not to sound the dolt, but is the zoo far from here?" she asked the group in general. "These streets are not a place I wanna linger on."

Jack spared her a glance then muttered. "Just keep close and keep quiet."

[I]Easy enough for him to say. I'm the useless one here.[/I] Everyone was armed, but Rayne noticed that everyone else looked quite comfortable with their weapons. Even the highschooler could throw a knife better than any carnie at a circus. What could Rayne do? Take a picture of the zombie before they killed her? What a great memento that would make.

She gave herself a mental shake. They needed to get the antidote to Vahn and the girl, Akina?, before the virus made them zombies. Then they had to find a way to make it out of this place alive. She just prayed that she wouldn't be too much of a hinderance.



OOC: given up on writing the lilt for the most part. You all know what she sounds like.

Frank was starting to leave the zoo and heard some one coming and called out, "who is there?"and i start to walk to the talking and i try to hide some documents as he left the zoo and he stood at the entrance waited for the the noise to come to him from the darkness of the night.

Vahn looked off down the street, they were aproaching the Zoo quickly, faster than he had anticipated.

A man was looking at them like they were aliens, or odd.

"Hello??" Akina called, cautious. "are you ...alive???"

"Yes, of course... and you are too..." He looked at Vahn and Akina. "well, at least for now."

"we'll stay alive, thank you very much," Vahn snaps. The man bows, apologizing. "I am Doctor Furter. Frank N. Furter."

Vahn snorts. "sounds like you've steped out of some cult classic....." Vahn sighed. "well, come on.. we're getting some of the Vaccine."

"I shall accompany you... I am quite interested in the virus.. i just never thought.... well, that the city would fall to it."

The others all look cautious, but let it slide. They know they'll know more than they ever wanted to know, sooner or later. Vahn notes some kind of a buldge in the doctors coat. "I know you're hiding something... might those be the files from my car????"

The doctor looks alarmed, but says only,"They... are from my own home.....i have been watching you from the begining. and i have been making documents on the t-virus and i have found out what the cure is.... as i stare at u up and down"

The doctors words were baffling, to be sure. The others left it, knowing there was already a cure.

Ever so cautiously, they entered the Zoo, and in the distance, the trumpet of an elephant could be heard. "Oh......shit...." Vahn says.

"what??? What's wrong??" The doctor started. Vahn backs away from a side passage, which led to the elephinat stadium. "Oscar.....he's infected...... He's not the docile creature he was...." A distant rumble could be heard.

"Thunder?????" Bobby says, confused. "But there isn't a cloud in sight!"

"Don't b foolish, that's not thunder... staying put would be a blunder!" Vahn says, and he pushes people untill they are out of sight. Oscar comes rampaging in, tearing through, stomping all over where they were just at.

"SHHHHHHHH! Don't even breathe!!!" Vahn hisses. Oscar stops, but moves on quickly.



okay, e have to go through the zoo slowly people, cuz i have plans on this part.

Akina was noy happy with the current situation, People zombies were one thing, but now they to deal with the entire Zoo. She also found the sudden appearence of this new person, Doctor Furter, to be a little out of place, she didn't like it, not one bit. Her thoughts were interuppted by a sudden jolt of pain in her shoulder and she put her hand to it.

[I]'Thats right how could I forget, so this is how it feels.'[/I] She thought gritting her teeth as the pain passed.

"Hey you alright kid?" The man named Bobby asked, him and Gado were taking up th rear behind her.

"Yes, I'm fine." She replied half heartedly. [I]'Right Akina you're fine, you're only going to become a fricken zombie if we don't get to that vacine in time.' [/I] Her were pretty obvious to anyone that was paying attention. She had screwed up and she knew it.

right know is not the best time u could come back in fected u two can do this some where else.

as i lead all of u through the tunnles that lead to my castle and we can do the reseach and the u two can try to kill each othere. the.....one that dies will...will stay
in my castle forever as i laugh like a mad man

"Don't give me lectures on team work ." Akina replied quietly holding her shoulder.

"I don't think that any of us are in the mood." Vahn added.

"Very well, just don't blame me when you all un up dead." Doctor Furter stated as they began to walk.

"If I become one of them hes the first one I'm going after." Akina spoke under her breath. They moved almost silently through the twisting paths of the zoo, they're hearts beating faster with each step.

then i said u can never infect me because i have part of the cure to last me long enough to get to th castl and if u want to u can stay in the zoo and fight to ur very end the sooner we get to the castl the better

as i walk down the tunnle and we all start to disapper into the darkness
there will be a large old castlup a head and that should give us plenty of time to get the cure

Occ: bouble posting is a no no man. It would be a good idea to edit that.

Gado cursed under his breath as he looked around making sure nothing was comming.

"This is just great. i get stuck with a bunck of teanagers."

"You got a problem with that? If you do, then you can just go your own way." Vahn said as he turned and looked at Gado.

"It would just be nice to get a little maturity in this little rag-tag group. We can't live on being little kids now can we?" Gado gave a little smile as Vahn turned around and kept leading the war to his car.

"Hey, Gado? What do you think happened to everyone else at the club? You think any of them are alive?" Bobby said as he slumped a little.

"Who knows. If they were lucky like we were, then there could be a small possibility."

"It would be best if everyone kept quiet. Animals do have better hearing than we do." Vahn said as he looked around a corner for anything that would be moving.

thats when u hear some one coming to us slowly and making noises and i said we have to find around all these things

Bobby looked about, the zoo was trashed all to hell. The bars were bent and busted out of place, blood smattered every where. Corpses were sprawled on the ground here and there, making everyone else all the more nervous. The fact that the bodies were ripped to shreds and half eaten didn't help much either...
Bobby hugged a molotov and his lighter a bit closer as the group moved in silence. This whole thing was confusing to him: Umbrella responsible for the mess they were in, a cure, mass murders, freaks mutants and zombies; it was getting to be too much. The fact that they didn't really find ammo at the station, though he'd expected it, didn't help much. the only thing that did raise his spirits was the fact that they had found others alive there.
They passed by the monkey cages when boby heard the first chittering noise. Spooked he looked all about nervously. Seeing nothing he continued on wards. Something darted in the shadow's off to his left, his head whipped about to catch a better view. It was gone.
[I]Just the lighting, this whole things gotten you freaked out of your mind, don't worry it's nothing.[/I]
Somehow that did little to ease his growing fear. the sight of mangled bodies supported that fear. He lit his molotov, and the chitering picked up. bobby turned and hurled the molotov the direction the noise came from; and nailed a half rotted chimp sqaure in the chest. The bomb exploded over, catching two more, their frenzied shreiks making everyone turn to look in horror.

Vahns only words were:
"SHIT!!! RUN!!!"

thats when i turn around and i cut the chimps head off and the chimp never got a chance to tuch me and i said we got to keep things silent we do not want to be seen in the zoo like this

we got to get out of here soon as posable.then i said hey boby can u see anything up ahead.

Bobby couldn't stand it anymore, this place was hell on earth! He darted off, dropping his handgun, lighting his last few molotoves and hucking all but one, lighting the zoo ablaze, burning mutants and zombies alike.

"DIE!!!" he screamed "DIE, YOU MOTHER FUCKING HELL SPAWN!!! DIE!!!" He never saw the hunter that dropped from the burning tree above his head. It landed sqaure on his shoulders, crumpling him to the ground as his spine, ribs, and legs. The molotove fell and shattered, engulfing both man and monster in the flames.

Vahn screamed, "Bobby!!!!"

Blinking back tears, Vahn ushers the others away, because the commotion had attracted some hyenas. These hyenas though, they were hungry.....


"Everyone!!! We have to gwet going!!"

They run, ans spot the elephant stadium. Not caringm they rush in, and shut the doors.

"Safe...." Akina sighs, slumping forward. Her mind raced. "we have to get to Vahn's car....or.........." she sighs. "I really don't feel like dying."

"Neither do I."

Vahn looks around, and is suddenly silent. "I think....we're not... alone....."

A deep, low growl echoes. A big cat, one of the african lions, slinks torwards them. It's jowls are gone, showing off it's teeth.

"Fuck....fuck me...." Vahn says. He pulls out a hotgun, but the lion is on him, and has him on the ground, with Vahn barely able to keep the ferocious snapping and snarling beast away from his throat.

"Help me!!!

Rayne stared at the lion mawling Vahn and did the only thing she could think of. "Everyone shut your eyes!" She shouted, turned her flash to max and set it off in the lion's face. If the thing responded to noise, she had distracted it. If it responded to movement, she had distracted it. If it responded to light, it just got a faceful and she had distracted it. She just wanted it off of Vahn.

The cat shook it's head, as if to give it's captive a final shake before moving on to it's next target. He dropped Vahn and started toward Rayne, slowly stalking.

"Uh, how about someone who knows what their doing step in now." she whispered, then began silently praying and backing away.

Jack spun around quickly and focused on Raynes retreating form, It was stupid enough to distract a zombie but a zombie lion. As he drew his revolver and aimed at the lion, he hesitated. "I don't see why I should," He told himself as he considered his remaining ammo, There was a zombie elephant on the loose so he would need all of his shots to take it down. But Rayne was a member of the police so he couldn't let her die. The revolver exploded two times, both shots thudding into the neck of the lion effectivly drawing attention from Rayne to him.

"Oh Shit!" He whispered as he fell back against the wall as the lion approached him, It looked like he was officialy fucked.

we need to get out to ur car in one peace thats when i said i do not want to die here

thats when we found a way to kill the lions quitly then we tried to avoid the elpents as much as posable

when we killed the lions we started talking silent ly about how we should get to the car so we can get out of here without killing each othere

It happened so quickly that Akina didn't even realize what had happened as she stood over the now completely lifeless lions body. She had managed to plunge one of her shuriken deep into the lions brain, rendering it imobile and dead... again. She suddenly felt an awful twist of pain inside and she collapsed to her knees, practically gasping for breath. In that moment as she knelt there thinking that this was the end, images from the last feww days flashed through her mind. Going to school on a normal Tuesday, a zombie attacaking the teacher, laocking herself in the classroom, Vahn coming to her rescue, meeting new people, Bobbys death, everything ran through so quick, and yet so slow. ' [I]We need to get to that vacine, I don't want to become one of them.'[/I]

okay, we are ignoring franknfurters post... that made no sense.......when he get a post that makes sence, we will pay attention to it. Hopoefully, after some lessons in RPing he will get it. We shall see in his next post.




Vahn stared glumly at the lion, and pitied it. "to live even in death.... i should know... it is a dark path....." He pulls a shot gun out from his back pack, and blasts a lion slinking behind Rayne. He does so, not even looking.

"Vahn?" Rayne starts, after the shock wears off. She moves to put her hand on Vahn's shoulder, but he bats it away. Rayne touches her hand, eyeing it.

"You're....cold......."

"Yes..... I am one of Umbrella's experiments after all......" He turns slowly. "I'm not exactly alive.... buty I'm not dead either." He looks at his wounds, like his deep cuts and slashes. "these will heal, like a normal humans, but at a much faster rate....."

Akina moves closer."You don't ned the vaccine, do you?"

"I do.... but it will take much longerr for me to be .....well, to become one of the dead....Umbrella did do wierd things to me.... Even I do not fully understand the genetic alterations."

"So... death is still a concern?" Jack asked, eyeing Vahn suspiciously. Vahn merely looked away. "Not really.... but i am still alive.....somewhat." Vahn once again turns away. "My car is not far from here......Let's go."

They troop to the employee parking lot, wary of what ever might be after them. In the distance, Oscar could be heard trumpeting, amist screams.

"Oscar found someone...." Vahn mutters. He spots his car, a bright red Impalla station wagon. He swignals for the others to wait, and he ventures forth, pivoting around, as he made his way to his car.There were other cars,but they were mostly trashed. His alone had escaped punishment bythe Zoo animals, for the most part. The windsheild was smashed in, and there was blood all over the front. Some one- or something- had been thrown into it. He pryed the door open, but stopped dead in his tracks.

"No....." Through the side mirror he spotted Oscar coming, fresh blood on his tusks. He was coming quickly, Vahn was surprised he could move that fast. Oscar was stomping over he cars, coming right at him!!!!!

Barely, Vahn moves, before Oscar tramples Vahn's car. "NO!!!!!" He heard Akina scream. But, she only saw Vahn's car get trampled, not that it was only the engine.

Oscar rumbles on, and Vahn picks through the remanents of his car. "Damn.. this ain't going anywhere......" He moives to the inside, and he emerges, holding a black breif case. Hurridly, he opens ot, and motions for akina to come to him. "This might sting..."

"Just do it!!"

He jabs the vial into her arm, and she brearhs a sigh of releif. "I have no worries, now, do I?"

"Only getting out..." Vahn does the same to himself, and closes the suitcase. "We should get out...."

"Alright zoo-man, you know your way around, how do we get out of here?" Akina asked quickly. She was relieved that she didn't have to worry about the spreading visus, but she knew that they were far from anything that could be considered free. Her heart had slowed down and beat normally in her chest, she liked that, she didn't like the feeling of panic.

"This way." Vahn replied pointing.

"Alright, there should be a way out through those trees... it's how i got out...."


Vahn motions for the others to follow. They come to a bridge, but it had collpsed. "Damn...."

"Hey Vahn, the water's not deep. Let's go......"

She starts for the water, but Vahn grabs her and yanks her back, just as a gaiant alligator zombie thing snaps at her from the water.

"I suggest we find another route......" Vahn says. Akina's heartbeat was loud in his ears. And she stared. "Was...that...thing there???"

"Yeah. I just jumped across. But, then. none of you have my abilitiies or strength..."

Rayne was shaken by the aligator zombie. Was everything trying to eat them? Actually she really didn't want to know the answer to that question. She just followed Vahn and the others, attempting to stay out of their way. She had striven her whole life to be independant -- not to be the useless damsel in distress. But if uselessness was any indication of damsel-ness, she certainly felt like she fit the bill at this moment.

They slowly and carefully made their was across the zoo to another entrance that did not include crossing dangerous waters, and causiously exited back onto the city streets. They all looked at each other, then around at the city in general.

"Okay, I'll bite." Rayne said, softly breaking the silence. "Where do we go from here? Are we going to try and find a way out of this place? What's the plan?"
