Subs (Japanese voices with subtitles) or Dubs (English voices)?
I dunno about you, but I feel that the anime I'm watching is more authentic if it's subbed. (tho reading the subtitiles is a pain....especially when they talk real fast)

Dubbed sounds cheesy and most of the voices are recycled. I much rather like Subbed the Dubbed
I prefer to watch both. Dubbed voices aren't cheesy and are NEVER RECYCLED. A lot of actors that do the dub have to retake several times just to match the emotions and lip-synching. Recycled voices are impossible, so I don't know what you've been watching, maybe flashbacks?

Both dubbed & subbed voices can be cheesy, depending on the anime. I don't find one better than the other.

I usually don't mind dubbed, but if I had to choose either subbed or dubbed, I would probably choose subbed. Yeah, reading all of the subtitles can sometimes be a pain, but I really don't mind..

Even though I prefer subbed, I usually watch dubbed more since I watch a lot of anime whenever it comes on television and it's usually dubbed..

There are some times that I have already watched an anime with just the subtitles and then watch it again with it dubbed and with the subtitles..It can sometimes be interesting to see how alike or different the scripts are.. :D

Well personally I perfer subbed animes, most of the time the characters when dubbed lose a lot of their original personality in order to make things sycronize in dub. A lot of dubbing jobs I've seen lose a major part of the original Japanese characters personality. Also I'm not a big fan of dub, because in most cases they change the storylines around just to make them "family friendly" or appealing to soccer moms. In doing so....half the time we end up getting various versions of a dvd that are "Tv Edit", "Uncut", and "Uncut-Uncesnsored".

So when I'm about to invest in an anime, I always look for a subbed only uncut/uncensored version. Though i can understand why some people like English dubbed, not everyone is into reading.... :animeangr

Haha, don't worrry. If you can't get a subbed copy of Advent Children, I'll make sure that you and anyone else who can't get it ... GETS IT. But I wouldnt worry, there will almost definitely be a subbed track on the FFVII-AC DVD.
