He came close once, but, as I said, gave up in the long run out of respect. ^_^ I would not say that I respect Ryoki for anything he does or has done, but I would say that I would respect his person. That's pretty wierd some you thought as your brother wants to be your girlfriend.Also Ryoki's just trying to get Hatsumi to like him. Don't blame him cuz he's so stupid on Love topics. He thinks that it's all about having sex and stuff.(unless he's just another pervert :animenose ) AND what about Subaru and Akane (how do you her name pernonced anyway :animestun ) is anything gonna happen to them. I mean in #10 all did was just kiss ( :pyumm Chocolate) Then what happened Subaru & Akane are very confusing. I think Hatsumi should pick Ryoki cuz she's made-out with him awhole mess of times. So it is kind of wrong if she goes with someone else,but i'm not entirely sure,yet. Subaru and Akane...wow, what a subject. Well, they didn't JUST kiss, it was a romantic kiss. It's a significant step for them in their developmental relationship. It's a lot more than just a kiss for them. ^_^ lol. Just because she's made out with Ryoki a lot, doesn't necessarily justify their going out. He really needs to get the basics of women down. It's not wrong for her to go with someone else. It's just, an opinion of who she feels would love her most. It'll get less confusing when you read it more throroughly.[/COLOR]

I wasant going to read it when i looked at the cover but my friend urged me too.It had a pretty interesting story.Except her brother was freaking me out.

Ive only read the 1st volume I heard what happened in the second and 3rd but I would like to know what's happening so far.

I remember really tearing through Hot Gimmick when I got my hands on it. My problem is that I don't believe there's much re-read value with the series (This is actually a big tendency with a lot of the shoujo I read). You should keep reading it, though, as it's pretty good. Don't spoil yourself! It takes out all the fun!

I didn't really find the brother to be all that creepy, [spoiler]and while I find the reasoning behind his feelings/actions a bit "ehhh...," I've seen worse. I can't be so forgiving on the cop-out ending for him though. I didn't feel what happened to him really resolved anything. [/spoiler]

Shinogu isn`t really Hatsumi`s brother! He was adopted!!! :animeknow He luvs Hatsumi so much but it`s bad as Hatsumi doesn`t know the truth, that`s why I feel sorry for him!!

Hatsumi finds out though in volume 7 when she find annulment papers, after he`s moved out. :animestun

After Hatsumi talks to him about Ryoki and he tells her it`s love as

She thinks it`s just brotherly love of course.

He moves out as he can`t be close to her and keep his promise to god and not tell anyone about his feelings.(that`s the reason he has so many jobs so he can afford to live on his own)

He also starts working with Azusa to work out some stuff.[/spolier]
