Anime Best Anime Girl Tournament R2 M8: Ceres (Hellsing) vs. Kei (Dirty Pair Flash)

Sorry about the delay there. My friends had already gone to sleep when I started M7, but one of them woke up just as I finished the poll. So I put the computer down for the time being. Anyways, let's get started.

Blade bait (Yeah, I know I used that last time... SHUT UP!) vs. Gunslinging tomboy!

My only rule is to not spam up these threads. Don't just post the character that you voted for's name. If you're going to say who you voted for, then explain why you voted for who you voted for, even if that explanation is just quoting someone that shares your sentiments. It doesn't need to be complicated. Even something as simple as "I voted for Asuka because she has a lot more spunk than Rei" or "I voted for Asuka because she has a lot of spunk" will work. So long as it has more substance than "Asuka" or "Asuka's better", its fine.

I'm guessing that Kei's gonna win... because she's cuter.

(Looks like turning vampire effects girls in more ways than just increased strength, red eyes, and an inability to survive in direct sunlight... it takes them from an A-cup to a D-Cup in a week! And no plastic surgery!)

My stance with these two characters hasn't changed one bit from last time. In other words, I still haven't seen either series, yet I do have an idea of what both characters are like. And with those ideas in mind, my vote goes to Kei.

Actually, I lied. From one of the comments during R1, Ceres seems like one of those "almost badass" anime chicks. She's cool and capable enough, but she relies just enough on the main character and is just emotional enough that she isn't quiet cool enough to be called badass. (I just used the word "enough" three times in that last sentence) Am I right?

Kei's sounds like an energetic tomboy character, and like I said last time, those characters are usually pretty fun. And unlike Ceres, she looks like she might just go the whole nine yards...

I'm sure that you already know by my earlier comment who I think looks better.

I want to check that series out too, but it looks like Netflix doesn't have any copies of it.

Just by looks, Ceras would get my vote. Kei has weird hair O_o; on top of that, her outfit is really silly looking... Stuff like Dirty Pair is all about fanservice anyway (I have seen Dirty Pair ~_~ horribly boring. I couldn't stand watching more than a few episodes. Hellsing is way cooler.)

I say Ceras is very badass. In the anime, they make her out like she relies on Alucard, but she's a much cooler character in the manga (plus, she's got like the coolest guy ever as a love interest. Squee for Pip). She can do her share of damage to the Nazis without beind told to do so.
[spoiler]I haven't seen too many scans since I don't wanna spoil it, but I heard that Ceras' fight with Zorin Blitz is pretty cool.[/spoiler] But I've got volume six and she's pretty cool in that. The image of her for the chapter Balloon Fight is prolly the coolest image of Ceras ever

And Blood Ceras just owns all. I mean, how cool is that? XD (note - this figure is based on the manga, where her uniform is yellow and not blue. It's red here. It's pretty easy to figure out why).

I can't say that I know either of these girls...I've never seen either anime that they were in...and I don't intend to anytime soon...so, My vote goes to...Ceres is creepy demon looking thing...she's got all that kick *** weaponry, but that won't do it for me :animeswea I vote for Kei

Once more I am going to vote for Kei because she is just a really enjoyable character. I didn't quite enjoy Ceras because, okay so she is alright looking, I found her to be a bit annoying.

Ceras is sort of like a tough chick, but she's still girly enough to be really cute... (plus, the Harkonnen II is super badass~ coolest weapon ever XD) I'll say again that if you've only seen the anime, you're missing out. Ceras is a lot cooler in the manga~ (But, I mean [spoiler]she fights Nazis and takes out a blimp... so cool~[/spoiler])

I found Kei really annoying ~_~; (then again, I found everything about Dirty Pair really annoying)
