How do you insert other alphabets and symbols into your posts?

I would like to put in other languages for my posts, but I can't figure out how. Can you help me out here?

[size=1]If you want to type in other alphabets like Chinese or Arabic, there isn't necessarily a set way you can do it, because of Languages that others may or may not have installed on their system. You shouldn't be writing your posts in another language, so I am assuming that you want to know how in order to show somebody something? If so, do it in Word and attach it to your post.[/size]
