Tatsubei Yagyu
I don't think anybody has heard of this anime... It's a shame to, because it looks pretty cool. The website is in Japanese, but if you scroll down on the link, there is a little movie thing... http://www.panda-z.net/world/movie.html From the information I gathered, the main character is a Panda called Pan-Taron. He pilots the fighting robot called.... you guessed it, Panda-Z. I guess he fights against another way taller Panda and his minions, called Skulpander... I think that the old Dr. Panji dude made Panda-Z, but I don't know why Skulpander is fighting them... That's really all I "know," as I've never seen the series, nor can understand kanji completely yet, so post away about what you think. ;) By the way, if anybody has actually seen the anime, I would love to know the actual plot. Thank yous!!! :p
r2vq
I saw something called Panda-Z a few months back. It was really, really short and it didn't really have plot. It was a Panda piloting a giant robot panda and fighting against other giant robots. All I remember, though, is that the female one shot missiles out of its chest. o.o;;; -ArV
Tatsubei Yagyu
Well... I still didn't get to much info of this anime from the website, considering that I don't understand kanji, but I found this page on it where it shows all the characters: http://www.panda-z.net/world/chara.html And r2vq, do you remember where you saw it?
Dagger
Panda-Z has been licensed by Bandai. The first volume will be coming out on September 27, available as both a regular disc-only version (list price: $14.98) and a disc plus figure version (list price: $19.98). Here's what the figure looks like. I don't have much of an interest in Panda-Z myself, but I suppose it would appeal to fans of the shows that it parodies. In this case, it probably helps to have a pretty strong familiarity with older anime, especially older mecha series. ~Dagger~
