Dragon Warrior
This is a simple piece I made in the good ole Photoshop CS :) Here's the thing... you tell me what you think it means... sakurasuka
Love the font you used. Just had to say that. Anywho, since this piece was obviously made for more of a reason than just 'Check this out' I'm not gonna critique the good/bad artwise stuff (It's really all good, anyway ~_^) Well, I have no idea what it's supposed to mean but here's my shot. (I'm a bit dull, so forgive me ^_^) The Grim Reaper is standing staring at a shooting star with the words 'Did I dream it?' underneath him. Now, if you keep in mind your Jerry the Loon animation, this is probably a crazy guy who thought he was the Grim Reaper. He wakes up and somehow realizes he isn't and thinks it's a dream, lol. Seriously though, from the pose he's in it makes him look... Like he's wondering about something. Like, 'What's that doing there?' or 'What the heck!?' So from that, I'd say it signifies 'Death' (The Grim Reaper) waking up from a fantasy about something a bit brighter. Alright, that's my shot. I really have no clue lol.
Dragon Warrior
Hm, that's very interesting. I like it. It's somewhat what I was thinking it meant. Death saw life and therefore was confused. But this seems like a good idea for a thread. I think I'll make a thread where I post artistic pieces and have people put in their thoughts on what they think it means. I like that kinda crap XD Thanks for your input.
Retribution
Maybe it's someone looking at the Grim Reaper, and wondering if they actually saw the real thing. All you see is a black sillhouette, so it may be hinting that a person thinks they saw 'ol Grim.
Dragon Warrior
Perhaps the person dreamt they were the grim reaper and this was a part of their dream. It seems like a logical thing XD I've dreamt I was a knight in King Arthur's Court before. Hey, it could happen!
Chaos
My impression was a tad more morbid than these others. I thought "Hmm, shooting star, Death. Hmm." My process went along with the sadness of leaving life, etc, what-have-you, and Death, always on the move, never resting to keep the ebb and flow of life moving, doesn't stop for anything. Now, my idea is that someone is watching Death enjoy the irony of a shooting star, signifying someone's wish. What good is a wish, you'll just die in the end. The person thinks this and remembers their life. And hence the quote, "Did I dream it?"
