Drake's estate was littered with people and the sweet, rank smell of fear loafted through the air. That same air washed over Valeria's body and into her massive nostrils. Her erect ears were pulled back as she plunged through the crowded and panic filled hallway.

If she wanted, she could have stopped at any time to gorge herself on the fear intoxicated flesh that surrounded her. But Drake had sent her to kill a specific target and the only way she'd sink her teeth into anything else was if it got in her way.

As if that was going to happen.

Valeria lept the first flight of stairs, took two strides, lept the next and repeated that twice more before making her way to the ground floor. The target's scent was excellently fresh as Valeria burst through the double wooden doors and out onto the cement walkway. A few scrub like trees were landscaped against the building along with fine flowers and shrubs, but the cool night air had made them all turn in for the night. Hiding their beauty away until the next sunny day, if you could really call them sunny.

Valeria dug her black claws into the cement in an attempt to gather more traction. Her well worn pads cushioned her every step as her massive wolf-like form raced into the parking lot. Yael and Angels tried despertly to keep their carriage animals calm as Valeria weaved through them, still hot on her target's trail.

Valeria's thoughts were completely focused on finding her target until she felt it. The immense power that wavered in the air that only could mean one thing.

Angel

Valeria growled as she slid to a stop. Pricking her ears forward, she searched for the creature that held such power. Her hair brisled on the back of her neck as she picked her head up and brought it to the left. Valeria snarled as she lowered herself to the ground as the Angel turned to look directly at her. Its crimson red eyes widen with realization at the beast that stared back. Valeria snarled again, pulling her lips back to expose the fangs that would surely take the Angel's life, when a scream let loose.

Valeria rose to her full height, followed the scream with her head briefly before taking in the Angel's sight once more. She gave a dissatisfied snort and then darted off.

You're mine, my pretty little dear.

Valeria's jaw dropped as she pushed herself harder, her four paws pounding against the cold earth below. Her heart racing, the thrill of the hunt taking over all reason as Valeria reached forward, and sank her teeth deep into the fleeing woman's thigh. An ear piercing scream let loose as the woman fell forward. Valeria soon was upon her, penning the girl down with her massive front paws. Her thick claws sinking into her tender flesh of her shoulder and neck muscles, blood trickling onto the soft grass covered earth below them. The girl screamed and thrashed about, trying desperately to get away.

Valeria snarled as she threw her jaws around the back of the girl's neck. A sudden rush of rich, salty blood burst into Valeria's mouth. The rush and taste overwhelmed her, and she franticly began to shred the girl apart, devouring her flesh. But her target's flesh was not enough to satisfied her outragious hunger. She let out a howl to tell she had made her catch before rushing back towards the crowds of people, starving for more, her senses heighted and the thrill of the hunt racing through her every vein.

The shadows created by the fireplace danced about on the walls and ceiling. The ceiling that was draped with precious silks and various other fabrics from across the globe. This room, where large tapestries and beautiful, priceless paintings littered the walls. Through the windows and the balcony the moonlight poured in, illuminating the room with an eerie glow. Here Drake entered, opening the doors from his large bedroom with a smile and warm glow about him. He wiped the last bit of blood from his mouth with a white hankerchief as he left the room. A brief image of a woman, ruffled within the bed sheets could be seen before the doors closed behind him.

He wore a tight red silk frock over his poofy white dress shirt, complete with the ruffles coming down his chest, laying lightly over the red coat. His shiny red pants added to his motif of red, defining his small frame delicately; making the villian look even more seductive than usual. Tucking away his handkerchief, Drake flicked the frills from his wrist as he attempted to straighten his ruby brooch without the use of a mirror. Heading for the coat rack, he donned his red, Phantom of the Opera looking cape, clipping it around his neck, and draping it across his left side. With a final brush of his hand to smooth out his slicked back hair which was tied back in a ponytail, Drake reached for the handles to his huge double doors opposite the balcony, tossing the doors open lightly passing two boys who were entering his room to clean up the "mess" that the lord had made.

====================

The party was lively and full of fresh and old blood. Just the way that the lord liked it. Descending the staircase he could already feel the hundreds of eyes catching his every step. A few steps from the bottom, Drake was greeted by several of his underlings. Slimy politicians with hefty purses, and low standard of ethics. He loathed these people with a passion. Most being humans. Before long, Drake found his savior from these wretched people, and weaved his way towards the beautifully dressed elf.

"Ryu, my old friend," Kissing either of the elves' cheeks and hugging him friendly, "How are you? Are you enjoying yourself?"

Still hesitant when the vampire came towards his neck, the overlord replied, "But of course. I love your parties above all the others, and this one seems to have a good turn-out."

"Yes, the guests seem to be pleased. Are you looking forward to the upcoming battles in the arena?" Sounding almost boyish and delighted as he mentioned the arena. As Drake finished his sentence a servant came towards him and handed Drake a champagne glass of red liquid, soon disappearing back into the crowd of people.

"You know I despise the shedding of blood." Replied the silver haired elf.

"Oh come now. You for one should know how it brings the people together. It is a sense of community, where people can come and be absorbed by the bloodshed, to forget their troubles for a moment and enjoy life." Taking a sip from his drink, Drake was about to continue before Ryu had interrupted.

"Of course I support a sense of community my dear overlord. However I do not relish in the fact that there is a need for the common man to drown his or her sorrows in these violent and vicious 'games', that only promote more violence and hatred on this planet."

Drake laughed for a moment, "No matter what we do, Ryu, there will always be sorrow and troubling times. It is the balance and nature of things. And I hardly believe that the games promote violence. If anything, it aids in stripping the violence and gore from the streets, and storing it within the walls of the colliseum."

Ryu began to sip from his drink as a female elf made her way to Drake and Ryu's side. "I agree, my lord, the games are a necessity to our way of life."

"See Ryu, even the fair Loranna agrees with me." Drake said, placing a hand upon her waist.

"My dear, Drake, you for one should know that your words may soothe the soul and warm the heart, but your hands are far too cold for my liking." Loranna replied bitterly, as she gently removed Drake's hand.

"How cold and heartless of you my dearest." Drake said mockingly, backing off and placing a hand upon his chest as if her words had stung him.

"Just the way you like them, vampire." Loranna replied.

"Touche." Drake clanked his glass with the elf woman, and they both shared a sip of their own beverages. Drake's eyes never leaving Loranna's face, while she looked over towards Ryu as he began to start a conversation with her.

It was at that moment that a loud crash was heard and a man screamed from the rooms upstairs, with another crash of breaking glass. Soon the culprit was in sight, bounding down the stairs, panting all the while. The crowd began to shriek and disperse at the sight of the werewolf. Her bloody paws stained the carpet as she made her way to the center of the crowd, where Drake stood, stern and nearly motionless. Ryu stirred only the slightest bit, while Loranna backed away along with the crowd of people behind her.

"Valeria..." Drake began to tap his foot as the werewolf wagged her tail and sat down, panting heavily. She might have seemed cute in the slightest if it weren't for the blood that was caked into her coat, still wet in some places, dripping to the floor. "What have I told you?" Drake held out his glass for Ryu to take as he made his way to lead the werewolf over towards the stairs.

"I-I'm sorry sir, she just came bur-" Stuttered a small elf boy, who had a streak of blood across his chest, that must have come from Valeria as she trampled him to get to Drake's side. He was quickly descending the staircase, another boy followed suit, with blood that covered his hands.

"No, no, just take her upstairs and clean her up." Drake had taken hold of Valeria's head, and lead her to the boys' care almost as if she had left a present on the floor and was being punished. Speaking to her, Drake said, "Now be a good girl and go get washed up. I'll see you after the party."

A small whimper of disapproval from the werewolf was all that was heard as she began to walk upstairs with the elf boys, her tail inbetween her legs. Avoiding the blood stains on the floor, Drake took out his white handkerchief and began to wipe the blood from his right hand.

"What happend to the party, people?!" Drake shouted as he signaled to the band to continue playing. Within the next few seconds people were continuing their chatter, some being used to intrusions of this sort, while others glanced over to the overlord, unsure of what had just take place. Ryu and Loranna were making their way back to Drake, Ryu, handing Drake's drink back over to his companion.

"Well that was certainly distasteful." Loranna blurted, taking another sip of her drink. Drake shot a look of disapproval at the elven woman, looking to Ryu for support.

"How unfortunate to see such a lovely creature caked in so much violence and misery." Ryu added.

"What is with you people, is everyone against me tonight?" Drake retorted, almost jokingly.

Loranna chuckled at that, and soon the party seemed to calm from its recent intrusion, returning to normal.

"We were just joking, my friend." Ryu looked at Loranna.

Loranna just laughed at this and continued to drink.

"The party seems a bit dull, don't you think?"

"Why would it be? We have food and music, isn't that enough?" Drake asked questionly.

"I guess... but something doesn't seem right."

Ryu stood up and walked towards the kitchen.

"Ryu? Where are you going?" Loranna asked.

"Oh.. to the kitchen just to get a drink."

"Why don't we get someone for you?" Drake asked.

"No thanks. Besides I need to stretch my legs from all that sitting."

Ryu walked passed some servants and made his way through the kitchen. The chef bowed and Ryu waved his hand and smiled. He grabbed a pitcher of juice and poured it into his cup. He made his way back to the party where Drake and Loranna were dancing.

"Ryu, come and dance with us," Loranna called.

"No thanks. I'm not much of a dancer."

"Oh come on. It's not that hard! I'll teach you." Loranna gave a sly smile.

"My friend, it's fine. Come and join." Drake declared.

Ryu sighed knowing it was no use. "Alright, alright." He smiled as he made his way through the crowd and to his friends.

The party went smoothly and Ryu had a great time. Ryu danced the night away.

OOC this is the third time I am going to try to post this. For the past two times, my computer ATE IT, and made it go away :animecry: . So now, maybe we can do this. Hopefully you all like this. I have high hopes for this one...

Isa stood standing in the middle of the ever changing crowd. Many were sickened just as much as Isa by the dead corpse over to the side, and yet he couldn?t manage to turn his head from it for a moment. If she would have run .25 miles faster, she would have made it to that gate. That would have spared her a couple extra seconds for her cries to reach her mother's ears. Isa looked over to the crying women. She screamed in agony by the sight of her daughter?s body. That stupid werewolf, she could have at least made the site a little bit cleaner. The claw marks, they prove it's a wolf right away. And the blood stained footprints, those show were the murderer went. Isa figured he would stop and view the wolf once more. Since she had easily picked him out of the crowd, Isa figured he would be a gentleman and at least do the same.

Isa removed himself from the sea of people, and went down a darkened alley, a less common site in the modern world. He knew that dangers lurked down these alleys, but he also realized salvation came from the same dark place. Humans and Angels had been outlawed for some time, being hunted down like the ancient game the people on this planet hunted many a year ago. Angels' wings were removed and put on display above doorways, and fireplaces, to show power. Humans were not such a pretty game, but none the less, were extremely entertaining for this worlds newest inhabitants.

Walking farther down the alley, Isa finally came to a dead end. He set himself about six feet from each wall. He then took a knee, and chanted the words, " Mude A Terra." Slowly a mass of rock climbed up to the height of its neighboring walls. "Uniformidade!" As these words were spewed from Isa's mouth, the rock began to move , changing itself in mere seconds, to identical replicas of the other brick walls, laced with blood, soot, and other stains of the past wars.

Isa trembled and slowly crawled over to a corner within his new cell. Within this small space, Isa relaxed trying to focus himself to regain the strength he just expelled to hide himself. He knew with magics as strong as what he had recently used, he would be weak for at least an hour, and retain a headache the size of Jumoke. Resting his throbbing head against one of the old walls, Isa laughed.

And to think that such "Divine Beings" live here now. The laughter continued, until he realized it would be best to keep quiet. Times have changed. When the Angel's first arrived on earth they were granted the palaces of many religions. They took the temples of worshipers and turned them into resort vacations. The people moved themselves out onto streets to pray, that way Isa's people would be relaxed whilst "protecting them from all evils". We lived a lie, and this is our punishment.
Awaking form his memories, Isa stood in the middle of his temporary home. He flew up to the roof tops, gentle placing himself on top of one. He walked over to the new wall, focused, and snapped his finger. The wall slowly crept down, returning to the earth. While creating something was difficult for Isa, returning it to its original form was mere child's play. Still not completely focused, Isa ran through the rooftops like that of ninja's and ancient assassins in a world long forgotten. Isa waited for clouds to cover the streets before leaping over them. He knew that the sky was already darkened to night, but for safety reasons, he still played it safe.

With a pounding head, and heart, Isa's memories crept upon him once more. I remembered when he was young, and not obsessed with his studies, the one night he escaped for some late night relaxation. He spread his wings and soared on his back, gazing at the stars. Later he would ascend to a height so when he turned over, he saw a similar landscape. The stench of blood awakened Isa to his destination.

He stood behind a chimney, and gazed in as the beast's fur was soaked and then washed clean of the bloody stains. A little elf boy helped the wolf's coat return to its true color. Isa was amazed by the dark creature?s beauty. Her coat was a mysterious black, while her eyes could catch anyone into a hypnotic trance. Shaking his thoughts from him, Isa thought, yet again. Taking her on here, suicide. Taking her on anywhere, suicide. But how about some mischief to see exactly how fun this ever changing game of prey and predator ? I do believe we have found an answer.

With a smirk, Isa glared at the water nearby the creature."Choque," whispered Isa. Slowly, you could see a tiny bolt of electricity being manipulated towards the water. When it touched, the wolf stood straight up, staring the little boy dead in the face. Isa hid behind the brick structure that kept him hidden from the creature. Laughter overflowed, a strange thing to see such a studious Angel doing. He quickly gathered himself, and looked back at the window. He focused on the calm creature?s nose. "Geada," and a light covering of frost covered her nose. She once again stared dead at the child. He trembled pleading for forgiveness. Isa laughed again.

Returning his eyes to the streets, Isa knew it was time to get down to business. He had a meeting with a strange character coming soon. The report he received said he was part angel, and part human. Shaking his head to the non-sense, Isa found an alley and dropped down to ground level. Gaining his composure, he joined the crowd in the street. Isa had a couple blocks to cover before returning to the current hideaway. Hopefully it was still up and running. He had heard of the recent crackdown on the hideouts. Four this month. Would today be a fifth, or would it just be another day for a rogue.

In one of the busy streets an elf dressed in formal clothes walked with the mass of people. He tried best to control himself while among them. He had learned been trying to, but every now and then a scowl of sigh of disgust would come. Zyx knew that if he was caught he would definitely be killed. Probably in the most gruesome way that Drake could think of. But, then again, if he was discovered he could just throw some magic around, hide for a while and come out later in a new disguise. Simple as that.

Zyx looked up to find himself outside of Drake's mansion. He had taken it upon himself to do a little field work tonight. Drake's party might just be some ridiculous social gathering of the snobbish people, but Zyx knew that when rich politicians got together, mixed in with some alcohol, information was bound to be dropped. Or so he hoped.

With another disgusted sigh, Zyx started for the door. He silently yelled at himself for the sigh. He had to stop doing that. People looked at him weird. And that just led to trouble. Especially for a half human, half angel. Walking to the front door, Zyx was confronted with guards; two dog Yaels. You could also call them bouncers, though they looked too stupid to dispatch of anyone of any real threat. But of course, the Yaels shouldn't be underestimated. They're strength alone could sustain them.

"This is a private party," one of the dogs growled. Zyx smiled at him.

"But I'm invited," he said with as much nobility and pride in his voice as he could muster.

"I don't think so," the other dog growled. Zyx looked at him and waved his hand in front of his face, mumbling something under his breathe. His left eye, the eye that was usually yellow-green in his normal form, dimly glowed.

"I'm sorry, go right in," the dog said. The other Yael looked at his companion with deep curiosity, but didn't say anything. Zyx just bowed smiled and walked in. The small mind spell was a child's spell, but it seemed to work well on the creatures that had a low level of intellect.

Once in the party, a servant spotted Zyx. He came up to him and offered a glass of champagne. Zyx took it and took a sip. It had been a long time since he had had any alcohol. Life in hiding wasn't a lavish one. Zyx walked around for a while, becoming just another one in the crowd of nobles. He did spot Drake and another lord - Ryu he thought. He stayed around them, waiting for something to slip.

But suddenly he felt his form begin to melt ever so slightly. Zyx winced. He had lot track of time and it appeared his camouflage spell was wearing off. Zyx swore under his breathe. Once his spell was gone he couldn't disguise himself for another two hours.

Zyx quickly weighed his options. Risked getting caught in the middle of an upper-class social party, or get away and risk upsetting the upper class and getting caught later on. After a second he decided.

"Protetor Fumo," Zyx, his left eye again dimly glowing, whispered as he pointed to a servant with a tray carrying a class. The class began bellowing out large amounts of smoke. A few of the guest curiously pointed and watched it. Zyx started walking very fast towards an exit.

The glass suddenly exploded. Smoke went everywhere, sending the guest into chaos. Zyx, who made it outside before the explosion, knew there would be hell to pay later. He hoped he wouldn't have a werewolf after him. But right now wasn't the time. He cautiously made his way to the streets, making sure not to be seen.

Once in a back alley he let down his melting elf form and in a flash of light he was back to his old self. He ran a hand onto his forehead and through his ear-length blonde hair. It was a few streets until he got to the hideout. He could make it. Zyx turned around, his black trench coat swirling around his ankles, and started heading to the hideout. Wasn't he suppose to meet someone tonight? Oh, yeah, he was suppose to meet that angel. Zyx picked up his pace.

Reiji toned out the ever growing crowd that seated it's self above his living quarters. The room wasn't big, but it was the best room that Drake offered to a gladiator. He had a small window, only big enough to get two arms through, but it was a window that no one else had. He had a bed that was softer that any other, yet it came nowhere close to what Drake kept in his house.

Reiji kept his eyes closed as he heard his normal guard walking down the hall towards his cell, but it was different, there was another set of footsteps that were quieter.

"Alright, wake up Reiji. Its time for you to actually get something for killing Shione. Aren't you one lucky bastard." The little fat guard smiled and revealed his yellow teeth, but they had a few pieces of beef in them.

Reiji slowly opened his eyes, letting the red glare through the darkness, straight at the new person standing behind the guard,"Hilos, who is that? He looks too proper to be in a place like this." Reiji stood up and began to walk over to the two men standing behind bars that were powered by high voltage.

"This? He is a servant of Master Drake's. He is here to take you to Master Drake, so you can get your reward." Hilos said with another, yellow grin.

"That is correct. My name is-" Reiji cut him off by flapping his wings.

"Personally, I don't care what your name is. Lets just go see him and quick, so I can get back to my personal time."

"Actually, Master Reiji, you are being put on another job. I think this one will suite you better." The servant smiled and shut the current off. He then looked at Hilos, who slowly took the key and slid it in the lock. He gave it a little twist as the lock opened.

"There you go. He is all yours. You sure you don't need me to escort you to the manor?" Hilos looked a little desperate as he said it.

"No, it will not be needed. He isn't going to be awake." The servant smiled and stabbed a small dart into the back of Reiji's neck, sending a sleep portion into his bloodstream.

"Why you!" Reiji tried to take another step forward, but fell to the floor, blacking out.

_________________________________

Reiji slowly opened his eyes, revealing a brightly lighted room, filled with chatter. He tried to focus in on a certain conversation, and realized that it sounded very proper, almost like royalty.

"Where, where the hell am I? What the hell's going on here!" Reiji screamed as everyone stopped talking and looked at the black crow that was tied to the ground, in the middle of the floor.

"Please Master Reiji, I suggest that you keep your voice down. Other people are trying to hold conversations." Reiji looked up, to a certain degree, and saw that servant that had stabbed him, holding a sword at hid neck, smiling.

"What is going on? Where am I? Where the hell is Drake?"Reiji tried to stand, then realized that his waist was chained to the floor as well.

"Ahh, Reiji. It is good to see you well." Drake came and stood in front of Reiji, close as to talk in normal voice, but far enough away so he wouldn't be threatened.

"Why am I here? I want to go back to my cell."Reiji relaxed his muscles, letting
everyone know that he wasn't going to pose and danger.

"You are here because I wanted you to be. And I wanted you to be because, I want to offer you a job. One that will set you free, to a certain extent of course. I can't let my best warrior loose on the streets." He gave a pleasant smile as a silver haired elf came beside him and whispered something in his ear.

"Why do you pick me? I know you have many werewolves that are more than able to do your bidding." Reiji watched as Drake sighed and then let out a small smile.

"You are wrong. I only have one under my control, Reiji. For that is why I need a little more backbone. People are beginning to know it is me that is killing people by how they are killed. If I sent you, they may begin to think someone else has begun killing people and seek my help. Do you understand?" Drake bent over and looked Reiji straight in the eyes, straight into the intense redness.

"Right. I get it now. If i kill some people, then what'll happen? Do I get to be set free?" Reiji let out a small smile as he tried to stand up again, only to be stopped by the chains.

"We shall talk about that. As for you, I wish you to think about this opportunity. I will come and see you in two days. Have your answer by then." He looked from Reiji, to the servant that was now feeling around in his jacket. The servant pulled out another dart, and jabbed Reiji in the back of the neck, sending in into another world of darkness.

Isa walked carefully to the door of a pub. He took a deep breathe, and walked in hoping for the best. When he entered, he was immediately stopped by two large Yaels. Both of the beasts were in a form resembling that of a ancient cat once found on this planet. Tigers.

"Hold on lil fella'. This is an outstanding club, and I don't know if ya' up to par with our other 'guests'," said the shorter of the two.

"Location my friend. Look into location." Patting the Yael on the top of the head, Isa pushed his way in saying, " I'm just here to meet a friend."

The larger Yael moved in front of Isa, as the other stared at the vampiric owner of the property. With a shrug of their master's shoulder, the "guards" moved out of the way, letting Isa pass. He went over to the bar, asked where he could find a bathroom, and traveled down a hall. He passed the bathrooms, and came to a wall. "Remova," was chanted by Isa. Right before his eyes, nothing happened. He waited for five seconds before stepping through the wall. He found himself within a rebel hideout. They all began to silence their small talk as the angel walked through. With a few chuckles, they all started speaking again. The spell began to fade, and the wall's matter began to reassemble itself once again.

Before taking a seat at the corner table, Isa removed his coat, setting it on the back of his chair. Closing his eyes, Isa stretched his wings, feeling refreshed from his common posture. The wings spread as far and wide as the biblical creatures wings were assumed to be. Folding them down, the took a seat.

Isa relaxed his body, and managed to take a decent rest within the chair before hearing a heavy smack against the doorway he had entered this room from. A minute later, a strange looking figure sat before Isa.

"Isa, I'm Zyx, nice to meet ya." A firm hand was held out before Isa. Slowly opening his eyes, Isa stared at the creature.

"What are you, Yael?"

"No, long story, but angel and human."

Staring at Zyx, Isa chuckled within his head. "Okay my friend. Well let's get down to business. I was sent here to evaluate you. I was also sent here, in my mind at least, to tell you that we can not except you into the resistance due to the fact that you are lacking in your skills. Now, do you want to waste my time, or can I just deliver the judgement now?"

Zyx returned Isa's stare with a confused glance. "Listen up man. No need to be so pessimistic. I'm no god, but i can kick some major butt."

Sitting up, Isa stared at the young lad. Isa spilled water over the cement table. Focusing his gaze upon the water, Isa moved it into a perfectly square shape. Closing his eyes, the water before Isa then froze. He touched Zyx's head, and stared into the icy screen. Before him, Isa viewed the recent actions of Zyx, involving his magical skills, and his health information during the time's when he performed such magics.

"You use magic on one guard, leaving the other to speculate what happened, poor decision making. You then do not check your form until you are already in the party, horrible preparation skills. And you set a smoke bomb off in the middle of a party among many a people, and quickly remove yourself from the scene?!?!!? WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING CHILD. We are hunted because of these acts. Because infants in the art of magic decide that it's okay to go in and play around with some pretty fireworks."

"Hey pops, I did it to gain information for the resistance, ya got a problem with it, maybe I should show you a lesson."

The whole crowd within the room had moved to the other side. Each drew up a shield just incase of possible magical energies ricocheting off to hit them. The ransack group of rebels were constantly scared of the two angels. They knew Isa was strong, and Zyx had an easily harmed temper, causing in many a fit. As the golden eyed angel realized what was going on, he instantly returned to his seat. Isa shattered the object he used to view the past, returned his coat to his shoulders, and popped his neck.

"I'll talk to my superiors. You have great amounts of energy, but control is your weakness at this moment." Quickly scribing names into a sheet of paper, Isa floated the paper over to the angel. "I suggest coming across some of these books. They will provide you some tips, and some rituals to perform to gain more focus. I have hopes for you. Most of us are well reserved, including myself. While we are experts in some areas, I have a feeling bringing you into the fight will helps us gain a broader influence over Jumoke. Keep safe till we next meet. I'll inform you via telepathy of our rendezvous point."

Without even taking into consideration the words being thrown round the room, Isa stood dead center. He looked up at the ceiling.

"Furo!!!"

Instantly a massive whole opened up reaching all the way to the top of the building. Isa closed his eyes. He's wings exploded out from underneath his coat. He slowly propelled himself upwards while still in the room. When he finally had enough, Isa shot up through the whole soaring sky words. Before exiting into the now darkened sky, Isa returned the building to what it once was. Soaring through the night sky, Isa calmed himself in preparation to meet his superiors and inform them of the prodigy he had come across.

After a decent amount of flying Isa decided he best check his surroundings. Now that he had cooled off, he realized the stupidity he was showing. I let a half breed some how get under my skin. I have not checked to see if I'm being followed. Get a grip Isa. "Visão da noite." The night sky became clear as day. He looked around. He viewed two dark creatures behind him, following reasonably far behind, and the distance was still growing. Yaels. Two Yaels had been on Isa's trail since he left the city. One resembled an owl, the other was a vulture. Talons, that sounds fun.

Flipping over to his back, Isa slowly revealed why he had gained his name. Focusing, Isa's form slowly changed. Ice covered him as armor would any angel. He received grieves, boots, a breast plate, pauldrons to cover his shoulders, and gauntlets. A visor made of Ice covered his face. From his gauntlets, massive blades were sent forth, yet still attached to his arms. He came to a halt in the sky, and hovered in his warrior like state. The yaels met Isa in the air.

"Oy', you look so heavy... you'll fall to the ground faster know. Well, makes the clean up a lot easier."

Without any sound, Isa launched after the two. He hit the owl straight through the heart. The vulture, on the other hand, was harder to get. After a few quick swipes, Isa realized he would have to out-wit this one. He went for a quick upper cut, and while the vulture moved out of the way, Isa launched his foot up into the middle of the vulture. He then flipped over and sent him crashing towards the earth. Isa then began to grow faint. He knew if he did not land soon, it would be over for him. He dropped and right before crashing into the earth, managed to gain control and lightly touchdown. With a grade A landing, Isa's armor melted away as he laid unconscious in the field.

OOC, didn't mean to push your character the wrong way if i did XYZ. Anyway, hope i am doing alright for you all.

?I?m sorry my mistress, but it is not me.? The small elf boy backed away from the massive metal tub that Valeria sat in.

The werewolf snarled at him before laying back down in the water. The warm liquid washed over her back and up over her shoulders. She moaned slightly and stuck her tongue in the blood-rich water, lapping some up before the elf boy climbed into the tub with her.

?How does one manage to get blood on their back?? The boy asked as he began to massage the skin and muscles of the back of Valeria?s neck.

Valeria ran her tongue over her lips and nose as she relaxed. The boy slowly began to free the werewolf of the blood and flesh that clung to her thick and nearly black coat.

?I will never understand how our Lord managed to tame such a blood thirsty beast.? The boy startled as Valeria rushed to her feet, placing the small boy on her back like an equestrian rider.

The man that had walked into the cobbled room scrambled backwards as Valeria turned to take in his sight. Her glorious blue eyes pierced into his very soul and sent uncontrollable fear through his whole body. The werewolf allowed a low growl to turn into a full fledge snarl.

?Its alright, my mistress. He means no harm, I assure you.? The boy said softly as he bent forward and stroked the wolf?s neck affectionately. Valeria stifled a snarl, but continued to bare her fangs.

The boy crawled off Valeria?s back, splashing into the bloody water below. He stepped out of the tub, grabbed a small towel, and began to dry himself off. The man that stood by the door watched as the light color towel began to turn red.

?She doesn?t like to be surprised.? The boy said as he threw the towel onto his shoulder, approaching the man calmly.

?Why would you risk your life with an animal known for its lust for flesh?? The man whispered.

?She can still hear you.? The boy smiled.

The man looked past him to stare into the crystal blue eyes of the wolf. ?How would you know; she told you?? The man mocked, jumping back as Valeria snarled again.

?Yes.? The boy creased his eyebrows, confused by the mockery.

?That beast is too stupid to think, let alone talk.? The man laughed.

Valeria lunged out of the tub, bringing with her gallons of water as she tackled the man to the cobbled floor. The man screamed as Valeria threw her head back and let loose a horrific howl.

?No, my mistress!? the boy shouted as he rushed over to the wolf, wrapping his arms around her neck and pulling up on her feverishly. ?He is foolish, pay him no attention. You mustin kill, our Lord would be furious.?

Suddenly the boy fell to the floor as Valeria shoved him away with her massive head. Her ears pulled back and her teeth exposed. The boy stared at her wide eyes as the man below her crawled from under her. She turned to lunge for the man again when she pricked up her ears and brought her attention to the door.

?What is she doing, Asher?? The man spoke, his voice trembling.

?Some ones here,? the boy replied. Both Asher and the man watched Valeria.

The wolf pulled her tail up, her full attention at the open door. The hairs on her neck and shoulders slowly bristled to a point as her ears slowly dropped until they were flat against her head. Slowly her lips were pulled back as a menacing snarl hissed from deep within her throat and between her clenched teeth.

Valeria slowly sat back on her haunches and lurched forward, sliding on the stones as she rounded the doorway. Asher and the man could hear the wolf?s massive clawed paws rush up the stone steps and out of hearing range.

*************************

?My Lord...my Lord!? Asher shouted as he shoved his way through the crowded lobby until he made his way to Drake.

The lean and elegantly dressed vampire turned to see the small elven boy before him. Asher lowered his head quickly as a stern look came over the overlord. The elven boy held his blonde head down, not daring to look up at the vampire as he spoke again.

?Its Valeria, my Lord.?

?What about her?? Drake said shortly, when he noticed that the small elven boy had drawn quite a bit of attention. Ryu and Loranna weren?t far from the vampire overlord, watching with worried and curious eyes.

?She has run off. She must have sensed something.?

?Well fetch her.? Drake tried not to get too worked up as the elven boy lowered himself farther onto the floor.

?I cannot find her, my Lord.?

?Is something the matter, Drake.? Ryu walked up to Drake?s side, shortly followed by Loranna.

Drake turned to the elven lord and was about to say something when a terrible scream let lose above them from the balcony. As every ones head flew to the rafters, a huge black mass fell from the rafters and landed perfectly on all fours in front of Drake. Its body bent low to the ground, its four limps spread out as it growled and snarled. Its ears were pulled back, tail straight, and its massive black claws digging into the fine marble flooring. Gasps and screams echoed through the room before falling deathly silent.

?Valeria!? Drake?s temper raged at the werewolf?s aggressive display before all his guest without being given authority to. ?Valeria I want you in your room.? But the werewolf did not move, and her snarls grew more frequent as he claws dug further into the marble.

Drake brought his head up to see the crowd parting and a man slowly making his way through them. He held himself proudly, head high, hands at his side, sporting a long red and black cane. He was dressed in victorian garb. Vibrant purples, blacks and reds accented the thick locks of jet black hair that was pulled back at the base of his thick neck. His body was firmly built, housing almost massive muscles and a well defined face. His eyes, mysteriously dark, almost black. The only thing that hinted at that he had elven heritage was the softly pointed ears that were ringed with metal earrings of various degrees. A small amulet dangled from his neck, and each hand housed three nearly massive rings.

Valeria let out a make-shift bark that came out with vicious teeth and threatening body posture. Asher had found his way next to Loranna?s side, the elven woman protecting him as if she was his mother.

?Your pet does not seem to like me, Lord Drake.? The man stopped a few feet away from the snarling wolf and looked down at her with a smile. She brought her cold blue eyes up and bit at the air, in attempts to warn him off.

?Hello Dima.? Drake said lowly, as the crowd watched what was transpiring. ?What brings you to my estate??

"Dima?!?!?" Ryu was stunned.

"Yes my friend. It is I, Dima the one who rules the east." Dima stood tall.

"Wow.. I'm amazed you would come all the way over here. What brings you here anyways?" Ryu asked.

"Just to enjoy the party."

"Party?"

"But, I didn't invite you." Drake stepped in and stared.

"Well I guess I didn't get invited, but I saw you pet roaming around in my area."

"And that bothers you, right?" Drake curled his lips.

"I'm afraid so, my friend."

"I'm sorry to hear that."

Ryu watched and listen as the conversation became a bit intense.

Zyx looked at the paper. O Avanço Soletra, Soletra para o ataque, Foco Teniques, Foco Da Alma, Foco para o ataque. Books written in the spell language of the angels. Zyx had no idea why he was able to understand and speak it. He just had had the ability to do so since he had become part angel.

But maybe Isa was right. He had made a few sloppy mistakes. But it had been for a good cause. It was for the resistance. And Zyx was still getting to know his powers. As time went on Zyx would become better at spell casting and knowing how and when to use the spells. But he didn't have time. Maybe those books would come in handy. Zyx got up and walked to the wall. Unlike Isa, Zyx didn't fly that much. He didn't like it and felt that he was more open to attack. And being human for most of his life might have had something to do with it.

"Camouflaugun transforma, elf," Zyx said. His yellow-green eyed glowed and his form change in a flash. He was back to being the elf, but this time the clothes weren't as formal. Zyx checked his form to see that it looked alright. He walked up to the wall. "Remova," he said as his left began glowing. He waited then walked through the wall. Once in the bar he walked out onto the streets.

Zyx walked around a bit towards the shop area. He knew if he was to find angel books, it would probably be there. Once in the district, his attention was caught by one shop in particular. Zyx walked in it and saw that there was a large collection of books. He browsed them for a while, skimming through a few. He walked to the back of the shop and saw a book wedged between two others. Zyx pulled it out. It was an old book and looked like it had taken a beating. It had a light blue color cover and the words Foco para o ataque on it in silver lettering. Zyx took it up to the front counter.

"How much for this?" he asked the elf behind the counter, an older elf that had wispy white hair and small reading glasses on his nose.

"Eh? That's an angel book. No one can read them," the old elf wheezed.

"I know. I just collect them for fun. Call it a stupid hobby if you will," Zyx replied with the biggest smile he could muster.

"Fine, fine. Let's say...about fifty dollars." Zyx checked his pockets. Inside was an assortment of bills and change. Zyx pulled out a combination that equaled fifty and handed it to the man. The man gave him the book and Zyx walked out.

'Damn,' Zyx thought to himself, 'I only got five bucks left. This book better be worth it. Zyx stashed the book in his coat and began walking. Something caught his eyes as he walked. No one else seemed to notice it, but Zyx watched as three figures clashed in the sky. One of them fell and the other two continued fighting. Then one sent the other crashing to the ground and then fell down himself.

Curious, Zyx started walking towards the figure that had fallen. When he got there he saw Isa laying on the ground. Zyx walked over to him and propped him up, feeling for a pulse. He found one, it was strong, and picked Is up. Six figured he was just tired, maybe from casting a spell. He would need to get him back to the hideout.

Suddenly a vulture Yale swooped down and landed in front of Six. It looked beat up and one of its wings looked oddly shaped. It was a wonder that it had made it here.

"You aren't taking that angel anywhere, elfy boy," the Yael cawed. Zyx looked at him and let down his elf form. The light flashed and when it cleared Zyx's normal form stood there, eyes ablaze and wings spread out, staring down the vulture Yael.

"What the hell are you?" the Yael shouted. Zyx pointed his finger at the Yael.

"All you nightmares rolled into one," he said. "Bala do relâmpago!" A bolt of lightning shot out and hit the Yael in the chest, frying his inner organs and the skin and feathers around his chest. The Yael fell, dead. Zyx flapped his wings, propelling himself into the night sky with Isa in tow.

Bach sat in an overly lavished room Drake had set aside for him to stay in for a short time. Free, of course, yet Bach took the room reluctantly. He preferred much simpler surroundings and the bright, decorative room nearly hurt his eyes as they scanned his temporary abode. He brought a glass of wine to his lips and took a sip, closing his eyes and savoring the sweet taste. Although he despised the lavished lifestyle, he greatly enjoyed their alcohol. As he continued to drink he heard a muffled scream from within a room close to his own. As he stood from his seat he looked to the sword laying solemn just above his bedsheets. Drake had requested he not carry the weapon openly around the establishment and Bach had decided he had no choice but to obide by the rules previously in place.

However, he slid the sheath of the sword into it's place on his belt and left the room. He walked down the crowded hallway, people walking franticly and discussing the matter going on in the room towards the end of the corridor. It became increasingly difficult to reach the room as he neared the entrance. He shoved people from the path, his overwhelming stature resulting in a large opening within the throng of people. As he reached the front he saw Drake and the others standing cautiously and Valeria growling wildly in the center of the room. "Not her again..." he mumbled quietly.

"Why don't we take this elsewhere, Dima." Drake added with a smile, extending a hand and lightly bowing in the direction of the stairs.

Without hesitation or fear, Dima walked confidently in the direction Drake had pointed. As he passed by Valeria she began to snarl once again.

"Valeria," Drake whispered softly, "Why don't you come along. Asher."

"Yes milord." The elf boy said, as he bowed as low as he could before racing up the stairs to lead Dima to the eastern wing. Hesitantly, Valeria began to walk in front of Drake, her eyes never leaving Dima's back. Her hair was still poised upright and threateningly, making the giant beast, seem to almost double her size.

"Drake-" Ryu started before being cut off by Drake himself.

Putting up a hand to prevent Ryu from stepping forward Drake added, "No need my friend." Lowering his hand he added, "Enjoy the party, I will return shortly." Loranna slowly crept up behind Ryu, separating herself from the crowd. "Please, carry on." Drake shouted, waving to the band to continue yet again. As Drake turned, his eyes came across the stout warrior, Bach.

"Bach, what have we talked about?" Drake stared at the warrior's sword, sheathed to his side. Stepping closer, Drake began to whisper, "We don't need the guests panicking more than they already are."

Bowing, Bach replied, "I'm sorry milord, I was only looking after the safety of your household."

Drake waved his hand and lowered his head, "Don't worry yourself your intentions were pure, just please leave the weapon next time." With that said, the vampire took his leave. Bach's head still lowered, he waited a moment and then left for his room.

As the band resumed their tunes, the guests began to talk louder and seemingly harsher than before. "This is turning into being quite a night." Loranna blurted as she took another sip of her champagne. "The incessant beast shows up twice, and Drake has left us for the second time tonight. And who's the swordsman? Hott..." Loranna whispered the last of her sentence under her breath, even though Ryu heard her clear enough.

"Drake has been acting differently lately." Ryu added.

"Drake has never changed deary. He will always be a cold-hearted bastard, only looking after himself. How do you think he got to be Overlord?"

Ryu only kept his gaze on Drake as he walked out of sight.

"Come on sweetheart, dance with me. Don't worry yourself with him." Loranna spoke softly into Ryu's ear, almost seductively. She took Ryu's arm, leading him back into the crowd, closer to the band. Somewhat reluctantly, Ryu followed.

Asher opened the door to a dimly lit room where the music of the party could no longer be heard. The elf boy bowed and allowed the elven overlord of the east, Dima, to enter before the others. Valeria followed, her eyes still locked on Dima. Drake entered the room with a bright smile on his face and waved his hand to Asher, never turning to look at the boy. With a bow, Asher closed the door behind Drake, making his leave to tend to something else.

At the far end of this room sat a large desk, facing the door with a gargantuan chair to seat the vampire overlord. Two equally beautiful yet smaller chairs sat before the desk. Dima stood behind the left chair, properly waiting for Drake to show him his seat. Valeria rounded the desk slightly, following Drake ever so slightly.

"Valeria." Drake called softly. Almost as if jumping out of a trance, Valeria turned her head and bounded to her master's side, taking a seat on the floor to Drake's left. As he scratched her head with one hand and eloquently pointed towards the chair closest to Dima, Drake took his seat. Leaning on his cane gently, Dima slowly sat in his chair. Valeria panted heavily, letting a growl slowly escape her lips as Dima's gaze wandered towards her.

"So where were we?" Drake said cheerfully. His bright, almost devilish smile never leaving his face.

"Enough of the pleasantries you damned fool." Dima almost yelled the words. Valeria growled and Drake's smile began to fade.

"I was only trying to be courteous. I can't help it if you tried to have me killed." Drake said smugly as his smile returned.

Dima was taken aback. "You really must be stupider than you look."

"And how stupid would that be my dear elf?" Drake replied mockingly.

"Only a human could be that idiotic to make such accusations without any proof." Valeria let out another low growl.

"The assassin that tried to kill me leaked some very interesting information before he left this mortal coil." Drake opened the drawer to his right and began to extract a small cigar case. Dima shook his hand at the vampire, letting him know he didn't need one. Drake smiled bigger and paused as he laid the box upon the desk. Opening the container and taking out some of it's contents, Drake threw a cigar shaped object wrapped in a purple cloth at Dima. "Some information he leaked unwillingly."

Dima caught the object and looked at the vampire puzzled. Unravelling the object, Dima stared into his palm. A severed finger stared back at the overlord. "You kept his finger?"

"Notice the ring. Given only to those serving the Braeden with the utmost loyalty, correct?" Drake stood and began to walk around the desk towards Dima. "Now, how could one get a hold of one of these, I wonder." At the corner of the desk, Drake sat and leaned onto his left knee that was suspended because of how he sat.

"You keep his finger in a cigar box. The council must have been severly deluded to let a human become overlord!" Dima's voice rose, and Valeria began to inch forward. If needed Drake or Dima would only have to make the first move. Drake rose and made his way back to his seat.

"You forget, I lost my humanity long ago. Similar to yourself." Drake said bitterly, taking a seat.

"You deluded imbecile. This could have been planted to ensure broken ties within the hierarchy! How could you not see that?!"

"And avoid the evidence, staring me back in the face! An elf that has never trusted or liked my presence! You my friend are the fool, for attempting to rid yourself of me, and send me to the very depths of hell!" Valeria now stood on all fours, but Drake ushered her to stay seated.

"Going to sick your new pet on me, human?" Dima replied smoothly.

"How I wish that she didn't obey me sometimes." Drake spoke while petting her head. "Because unlike yourself, I have my restraints. Even if I do wish to stare at your bleeding corpse, and gaze at your black heart, there are a million reasons not to. My 'humanity' is one of them." Drake stared coldly into Dima's eyes. The overlord returned the bloodthirsty gaze that held the two locked inside a battle of their minds for an eternity before Dima spoke again.

"I propose a civil way of settling this debate."

"And what is that?" Drake snarled. Quickly regaining his composure after his outburst.

"Your pet, against mine." Dima smiled and edged to Valeria who inturn snapped at him.

"Why?" Drake questioned.

"At the next moon, the loser, will lose their estate and land. Ridding them of rulership in the Braeden." Dima had Drake's full attention. "I need to show you that I can be rid of you in a fair game." He added. A long pause ensued. Drake burst out laughing, somewhat maniacally.

"You have yourself a deal, you pitiful elf. You honestly think that my precious, Valeria could actually lose? I will have your property and soon your head." Drake stood and rounded the desk as Dima rose to his feet. Valeria watched patiently and attentively, making sure her master would be safe.

Standing tall in front of the massive Dima, Drake outstretched his hand. "So it shall be. On the next moon your 'pet' shall meet it's doom." Dima smiled devilishly and shook Drake's hand, sealing the pact, and the fate of the Braeden.

Valeria watched all the more intently, soaking in the words of the overlords'.

OOC. HISTORY TIME AT MIDNIGHT, WOOT.

While unconscious, Isa trekked back to his younger years. He saw himself when he made top in his class for the 15th year in a row. That was when the elders started to speculate more from Isa. He was a very studious cherub, but he had the skills of a full fledged angel. After the graduation from Puoco Heaven, Little Heaven, the elders brought him into the grand council's private deliberation room. Isa stood, no taller than a four year old human child, surrounded by all eight elders. The flew up to their respective seats, sat, and stared down at the child-like Isa.

The eight elders each presided over a certain faction of all the known magics at the time. There was the hot tempered ElderFogo, mentor over all fire magic. Then there was the calm and collected Elder Água, leader over all water magic. Elder Gelo, the cold solitary personality, presided over ice magic. The quick witted Elder Relâmpago looked over all lightning magic. Whimsicle Elder Ar politically took the head of all air magic user's, but was not to proud to accept the position. Elder Terra was down to earth, literally standing for earth magics. Elder Restauração taught all curative magic with a very optimistic persona. Then there was the last of the elders, the so called leader, Elder Alteração, high angel of all magics, and soul teacher of alteration magic.

Feeling overjoyed to be in the elders' presence, Isa quickly bowed, and raised his head, mesmerized by the rooms atmosphere. He glanced about. He soon realized why the inner sanctum was so diverse. Each elder received a piece of the room to decorate as they so please, which they coincidentally always sat within. Isa viewed the contrasts between each elder. Their personalities showed through on their artwork. Some went with a simple design, while others pitted their frustrations into the ivory surface.

The drapes that hung below each elder came to a complete halt, thereby commencing the meeting. Only Elder Alteração spoke.

"Isa Ansuz, you are a fine student."

In a high pitched voice, a simple reply of, "Thank you," rang from Isa.

"Do you have hopes of joining the ranks, possibly one day being an equivalent to Michael?"

"Elders, Michael is a legend. A great angel who fought off many a foe, protecting us all from the harms of the damned. Michael was a man of great physical talent, I am but a mere worm in comparison to Michael."

"You may lack the physical talents Michael once had, but you are far greater in the arts of the magics my dear cherub."

"Elders, I humbly thank you for your confidence in me, but I have no dreams involving defense of our people. We can all stand for ourselves, each one of us can wipe an army of our enemies out. I only study to prepare myself for the worse. I will come when called, but other than that, I wish not for my mind to harm any."

"Isa Ansuz, can we entrust you with information not known to the public?"

Isa's heart skipped a beat. They trust me, a mere cherub. "Why of course elders. You may entrust me with your deepest secrets."

Looking at the other elders, Alteração took a deep breathe, and began his long soliloquy. "Our people believe that we settled on a planet with the name of Kai long ago." The room went silent. The elders knew the truth would be thrown before the public within a week. With yet again another large sigh, Alteração went on. " We never settled on a planet since leaving Nevaeh. We elders created a fantasy for the public to keep ourselves in office, and to continue our journey through the galaxy in search of other life forms. Recently we came across some rather interesting information. We finally found a suitable planet for our people. It seems that the planet is in the midst of a war. We are going to land our ships on this planet within two weeks. We will then make contact with the stronger of the two sides, in hopes of quickly ending the resistance, and thereby freely receive their defeated enemies land calling it our own. We will then settle in, and act normal. As we gain more information of our allies, we will then turn against them, thereby eliminating them from the planet, called Earth, and leaving it for us to reap the benefits from."

Isa's jaw dropped just like that of a child's. His eyes started to water. We left our war torn planet in search of piece, not more bloodshed. With gritted teeth, Isa held a his fists at his side.

"NO!!! "

"What? You dare defy us, The Elders?"

" I have lost many a friend. Our people have suffered many causalities. We left Nevaeh in search of peace. I will not let you do this to our people. I realize that you are trying to make me see your side, but it's not going to work Elders. I am my own person. While I have surpassed you all. You fear me, and you wish for me to become one of you. I will not have it. They will all know."

Isa turned to run out of the sanctum, but he was quickly chased after by two brute-like angels. "Cherub, return to your spot. The elders have yet said you may leave."

With tears in his eyes. Isa released a scream that shook the whole ship. The elders' thoughts were startled, and they lost control of the reality they had created for all of their people. The interior of the ship became visible. Grass disappeared, trees vanished, being replaced by metal pipes freezing cold to the touch. While the guards panicked, they did not realize what was becoming of Isa. The form he took right before fainting into this repressed memory returned. The ice made him strong. It gave him weapons, strength, and a horrid hunger for the suffering of others. The four foot tall cherub ran into the first guard, removing his arm with one swipe, and gutting him with another. The blood froze as it touched Isa. He glared over at the other guard, and cocked his head. Isa let out a deep breathe, shown by the white mist exiting his visor. The guards eyes opened wider than ever, just in time to see the blade slice him right there. Isa's blade entered his throat and protruded up out his mouth as his eyes became fixed at the ceiling, were the blood splatter had frozen.

Flying up to an equal level as the elders, Isa felt the ship that had been in orbit above earth sink into the atmosphere. Taking his right arm, Isa nailed each of the elders to their seats with a large sickle straight through their hearts. Feeling refreshed, Isa took in a deep breathe. Relaxing, a piece of the ceiling fell on him, knocking him unconscious.

The ship slowly landed in the ocean named the Atlantic. causing nothing more than a ripple an inch high. This was when Isa finally awoke to being carried by Zyx. Rubbing the back of his head, Isa smarted off. "To be carried off into the sunrise by such a smart ass, how ironic."

Bach walked silently down the hallway returning to his room and closing the door behind him with a loud clicking noise. He unhooked the sword from his belt and tossed it once again upon the cotton sheets of his bed. He sat back down to his small table and took a swig of the remaining wine. He shook the glass a bit and watched what was left of the ivory liquid circle the bottom. It seemed as though he was out of alcohol and although he thought ill of leaving his room again so soon, he decided to make his way back to the previous room and aquire more liquor.

The hall was much less crowded as he made his way down the corridor towards the room he'd entered before. As he made his way past numerous tables towards the bar he noticed Ryu and Loranna dancing across the room. Ryu stumbled a bit attempting to keep up as Loranna danced increasingly fast.

He laughed a bit to himself as he sat down to a stool and motioned for the bartender. "The usual?" he asked, approaching Bach and leaning against the wooden counter. "The strongest drink you've got," Bach spoke, looking up and smiling in the man's direction. "Right, the usual," he said, laughing as he left for a moment and brought back a large bottle of an ominous white liquid. "I don't know how you can drink this stuff, let alone walk straight afterwards," he said, handing the bottle over. "Only a drink such as this provides the relief I seek," he spoke silently rising from the bar and walking from the room.

As he approached the door to his personal chambers he heard a muffled shout towards the opposite end of the hallway. He continued past his door and walked to the room the noise had come from. He placed his ear to the solid wood and haulted his breathing. He could hear Drake's voice, and the elf from before. Apparently something of a showdown was going to occur, a lucky find he thought to himself as he turned from the door. It would be interesting observing the "pets" in a fight to the death, and with all the commotion he wouldn't be noticed, watching intently from the shadows.

No sooner then he entered his room the bottle of alcohol was gone. He rose from his seat and stumbled a bit as he made his way to the bed across the room. He lost balance and fell to the wall, sliding down it and extending his legs. He just barely sat up, hunched over, a tear rolling down his cheek. His pupils glazed over and the original red of his inner-eye turned a darker crimson. He clenched his fists and winced at the noise of the bottle craking within his palm, shards of glass cutting along the intimate lines of his hand. As his head rose from the glare towards the floor he saw the women from before. She stood over him, the tips of her dress fluttering slightly.

"You see, this blood is only the beginning," she spoke silently, taking his hand in her's and lightly licking the tip of his finger, softly cleansing it's summit. "You will pay..."

"Not like I had any choice, pops. My ass is on the line 'cause you're the one 'inspecting' me," Zyx dryly relpied back to Isa. "But we need to get to the base, quick. I'm feeling a little tired after that last spell." Zyx fell silent as he beat his great black wings. They were nearing the hideout. Zyx silently glided down to the roof of the building. He put Isa down and looked at the roof.

"Furo," Zyx said slowly, concentrating. His left eye took on its ussual spell-casting glow and the ceiling opened up. Grabbed Isa and jumped through, falling at a fast rate. At the last posible second he put his wings out and stopped. His feet gently touched down and he let Isa down on to the ground. Zyx looked up an closed the hole.

Isa stood up. "That was a bit reckless. Did you check to see if there were more Yael following? And what was that falling bit? You could of hurt both of us?"

"I just saved your ass," Zyx said slowly, holding back his anger. "I checked for more Yael before you woke up and I knew I could stop us from falling at the last second. It saved my energy to do it this way then flying down. And I got one of those damn books you wanted me to get." Zyx pulled out Foco para o ataque and showed it to Isa.

"Maybe now you can learn how to focus you energies and become more efficient," Isa said. Zyx, his hand shaking a bit, put the book back into his trench coat. He glared at Isa for a second then stalked off. He need some sleep and being a rebel had taught him to grab sleep for however long whenever he could.

((Sorry if I made you character out the wrong way Lostcause. This is just how he appears to me.))

?Now that is settle,? Dima excused himself from his chair, carefully watching Valeria. ?I must be going.?

Valeria picked her head off her front paws, ears forward as she watched Dima like a watchful guard dog.

?You came all this way just wage an Arena fight?? Drake said with a hint of bitterness.

Dima smiled and looked down at Valeria again. The werewolf snarled and bared her fangs, the skin and hair on her snout wrinkling. He chuckled at the beast?s response as he brought his eyes back up to Drake.

?I came to see the stunning Valeria that I have heard so much about. Too bad your party accrued on a full moon, I was hoping to seduce her human form.? Dima allowed a teasing smile to play across his lips.

Drake caught his breath at the thought of Dima?s hands on Valeria, whether wolf or human. He glared at the half elf overlord and struggled to gather his composure again. ?Don?t worry, Dima, it?s with dogs that you should lay. But I think this specific one has more class than you.?

The sheepish grin that once played on Dima?s face vanished as he leaned against his cane. ?We shall see who really is the one sleeping with dogs,? Dima growled as he started towards the door; Valeria raising to her feet with his quick reaction. ?We shall see you in a month.? Dima waved to Drake as he showed himself out the chamber door.

Valeria followed the half elven overlord with her head until he was out of sight. She could hear the varying reactions of the crowd as Dima made his way off the estate. Once satisfied that Dima was far enough from Drake, she swirled around and gave her full attention to her Lord. Drake gave a half smile as he reached out and caressed her head.

?You will win that battle in a month,? his smile faded softly and Valeria creased her face with concern.

The vampire overlord said nothing as he stared into the crystal blue eyes of the werewolf. She wondered what he was thinking as a twinge of fear and tension could be felt in the room.

?My Lord?? The click of the door and Asher?s soft voice brought both master and pet to turn their heads.

Drake stood suddenly, making Valeria jump back to avoid getting stepped on. Drake rounded the desk and started towards the boy. Valeria turned her body to watch, not sure what was about to transpire.

Asher lowered his head as he pushed the door open. Drake nodded and returned to the party, leaving Valeria with Asher. The werewolf tilted her head, her ears forward as Asher turned to watch Drake.

?We should get you upstairs,? Asher said once he heard Valeria whimper softly. He turned to face her, but said nothing more as Valeria started across the floor. Her tail hung low as the rest of her body was a straight line. Her ears pulled slightly back, displaying her dampened mood.

Asher took a deep breath and let it out slowly as he watched Valeria walk through the door, following behind her. They took the back tunnel stairs to the fifth and final floor of the mansion.

Very few saw this floor for it was Drake?s personal quarters. Not nearly as massive as the floors below, but big enough to house a dozen rooms and three baths. Even though the Fifth Floor, as it was dubbed, housed everything an overlord could want, but Drake spent hardly any time there. Usually only to sleep and dress himself. Occasionally he would bring girls up, usually to fee, and that would be it.

Asher opened the door to the Fifth Floor and allowed Valeria to enter. She made her way through the floor, passing some of the servants that were permanent residences of the floor. They paid little to no attention to the massive wolf, some greeting the small elven boy as he passed behind her.

?Hey Asher!? a young lad shouted as he rushed up to the young blonde boy.

?Hello Cugar.? Asher said simply, stopping to allow the boy to catch up to him.

Valeria heard the noise and cocked her head back to see what was happening.

?You should ditch the beast and join the guys and I in a game of cards.? The red haired boy clasped Asher?s shoulder with a friendly smile.

?My duty is to my mistress first,? Asher removed Cugar?s hand with a cold precession.

?You?re wasting your life away with that ungrateful monster.? Cugar said bitterly.

Asher said nothing as he slid past the boy, following behind Valeria once again. After a short distance, Valeria turned to her left, made her way down a short hall and entered a room at the very end. Asher followed quietly behind her, gathering old blankets and laying fresh ones on Valeria?s bed.

The bed was half the size of Drake?s massive bed. Valeria?s bed was a rich red oak with dark colored sheets and blankets. They did well hiding blood if she were to bring any back into her bed. Asher quickly prepared Valeria?s bed and made sure the rest of the room was fit for when Drake made his way up.

Valeria stretched and crawled into her bed, Asher making sure the werewolf was comfortable before leaving to his own quarters.

Reiji listened out the window to the noise as it began to die down. He sighed as he finished the last piece of meat on his plate that Hilos had given him a few minutes earlier. It only consisted of a stale piece of bead, two carrots, a small cup of water, and two pieces of dried ham.

"Reiji, you done yet? Normally, it takes you only a few minutes to finish that, whats wrong bub?" Hilos gave him yet another yellow smile as he put the empty plate on the cart.

"Those darts take alot outta you. Next time they should ask me to move, I would happily agree now." He sighed as he closed his eyes, the red glare cutting off.

"I think they did that because they weren't sure about how you would take it." There was a short silence after that was said, then Hilos began to walk to the next cell as the servant that had drugged him before walked up to the cell door.

"Master Reiji, the party is ending, and now Master Drake would like to have a couple words with you. He told me to walk you there, not drag you." Reiji looked at the servant's depressed gaze and nodded.

"Alright. Show me the way." Reiji slowly stood up, still woozy from the darts, and walked over to the entrance. A second later the electric field shut off and the servant opened the door and began to walk down the hall as two guards walked behind Reiji.

"Protection, right? Or is Drake afraid that i may run away?" Reiji gave a cocky smile as the servant led him into a back door to the estate.

"Neither. I was told to bring you unharmed, but I got them two to come along to kill you if anything happens. I could always say you tried to kill me." The servant gave a sly smile as he led Reiji and the two guards into a small room with four lamps, one in each corner. There was a small oak table with two chairs and a cushion on the ground.

"My guess is that he is going to have his own body guard right? That's cool, my guess is that its gonna be his werewolf."

"Please sit down. Master Drake will be with you shortly." The servant pointed to a chair and walked out of the room, fallowed by the two guards.

"Great. Now what am I supposed to do til' he gets here? Lets see, I can't hide in the shadows, too much light. Can't fly anywhere, room is to small. Only chance I get is i I kill him hand to hand, but then I have to worry about the guards, and his wolf that would rip me to shreds." He gave up on thoughts of getting away and sat down in the closest chair and closed his eyes. A few minutes later there was a knock at the door, then Drake entered by himself.

"Wow, your alone. Wheres the werewolf? She sleeping or something?" He stood up as Drake made his way over to the other chair.

"Something like that, yes. I already know that you know there is no way to get out of here, so I feel that I am safe, for the moment." Drake mentioned for Reiji to sit, and he did after Drake did.

"On the front end Drake, your servants need a little lesson in manners. Pretty much, only the one you keep sending to get me. He is really a little prick." Reiji crossed his hands over his chest.

"Note taken. But you do have to realize, I had to drug you. I wasn't sure how your reaction would be to me meeting you. I never have before." Reiji nodded as he looked at Drake in the eyes.

"Alright, down to business. Why do you bring me here?"

"Well, to be honest, I want you as another body guard. Valeria is great. The best one I have ever had, but you must know, she cannot do everything that is needed. You on the other hand, can deal with the stuff that she should not be involved in."
"You mean, killing certain people so they can't trace it back to you, right?" Reiji smiled a little as he closed his eyes.

"You can put it that way, yes. You would only be around me on affairs that needed your skills."

"Night hunts. Or rather, quick hints. Ones in which looks like some other creature did."

"Very good. Ones that needed to be quick. Ones that the killer should not be seen doing. There are a few that can be dealt with without your help, but then there are others that need to be dealt with without letting anyone know of." Drake smiled and walked over to a small chest sitting next to one of the lamps.

"And that is? Better not be another dart." Reiji began to stand up as Drake turned around, holding two glasses and a bottle of wine.

"Would you care for a glass?" He offered a glass to Reiji who took it.

"Ok, now what about my days as a gladiator? Are they over?" He took a sip of the glass that held white wine.

"If you want them to be. I don't see a need in letting you fight. If you die, how are you to help me then?" He smiled at Reiji who nodded.

"Well, when you put it that way, I don't think I can think of any reason to say no." Reiji stood to his full height and held out a and to Drake.

Drake shook his hand and smiled,"Thank you. I shall get a servant to show you to your room." Drake set the glass on the table and walked out of the room, leaving Reiji to think about what he just did.

Occ: alrighty. Not really sure about what I just did to myself, but if there are any changes that I need to do just tell me

As Zyx walked off to find a place to rest, Isa looked up at the still gaping hole. He thought to yell at the young lad to correct him, but, realizing the favor he was just granted, Isa shook his head, and returned the ceiling to it's norm. Stretching, Isa realized it was absurdly quiet within the base. He saw Zyx over in the corner, resting, but there were no signs of guards. Even the deaf would have come to see us by now... Looking around the stone room, Isa realized that their was a helm dropped on the floor in the corner. All of a sudden, Isa heard footsteps coming his way, and with a quick flap of his wings, smothered each torch with a massive gust of air. He stood next to the one doorway leading out of the room. His ears became tuned to the conversation of the passerby's.

"So, I just tore the poor fools arms off. Ryu had a good feeling about this place. Figures he would, he didn't get to be overlord for no reason."

"Ah, shucks, I think you give him too much credit. I mean we've been sent on these hunts many a time, this is the first one that...."

The words trailed off. Isa stood in shock at the fact the base had been compromised. Looking over at Zyx, he knew that the young boy would be of no help with this fight. He had just flown both of them back. Isa had rested, he knew he could possibly manage them, if there were not too many.

Yael's and humans were simpletons compared to the other races. Although the varied themselves among many forms, they were all the same in the end. Little magical capabilities, and poor fighting skills.

Isa moved out of the room. When he reached the end of the doorway leading to their entrance, Isa turned about.

" Mude A Terra Uniformidade."

With the simple spell being cast, Isa moved on feeling no effects from the weak spell. He knew that Zyx would be okay, until he awoke. Then he would probably come storming in and tearing everyone down. The time for brute force was not now. Zyx would sleep during this fight, hopefully.

Isa moved down the corridor, following the voices he was listening to moments ago. He rounded the corner with his tan coat lightly flapping behind him. Glancing down the hall, he saw two yaels. One armed with a sword, the other with his wits and bare hands. How these two even managed to touch our guards is an amazing feet. Isa searched the ground around him for something. He quickly found a pebble and threw it against the opposing wall.

Foot steps started, gaining speed. Isa readied himself, preparing to paralyze each with a strong jolt. "CHOQUE!!!!!!" As the yaels rounded the corner, they met the golden eyed angel's palms opening before them.

"OH SHI....."

The yaels met the bolt dead on. As it hit the sword holder, his appendages flew back, and his jaw dropped. He smoked. The other yael, stood in shock at the sight. Isa looked away from his palms, the source of the lightning, and stared into the eyes of the unarmed yael. Isa's new target mouthed the word 'Pity'. With a simple response, Isa's eyes widened. The electricity shot through the already slain yael, hitting the one standing behind him, throwing him against the wall.

Isa relaxed, moving his hands down to his side. He stood staring down at the bodies of the two pathetic guards. "Inferno impetuoso." The bodies started to burn before Isa. He knew he could leave no proof of his actions. Sadly, he knew these men would never return to their wives, their children, and their families. Closing his eyes, Isa looked away as the bodies burned themselves into ashes. He walked down the hall the guards had just ran down to come to their doom. A headache came over Isa, not too much as to restrict his magic use, but just to inform him of his lack of energy for the time being.

Finding his way down the halls, he looked into rooms. Within each one he found the resident's physical remains laying covered in blood. The hatred towards Ryu grew within Isa. You have slain my comrades, you fool. You're next you bastard.

Isa finally made it to his leader's room. He gently opened it, up the door and took a bow. He raised his eyes up to see the elder human hanging from chains. This was it. This location had been lost too. There was no use in searching for others. Isa stood, bowed his head, then left. He ran down the halls, tears running down his face. Yet again I lose those so close to me. Finally Isa reached the sealed doorway where he had left Zyx. Isa leaned up against the back, wiping the tears from his face. He turned, took in a deep breathe, and readied himself to go into the room.

All of a sudden yaels started flooding in from both of sides of the hall ways.

"Stop right the hell there you murderer."

Isa's furry grew, but he knew there was no way he could take on each of these guards lest he faint once more. He quickly turned, screaming, "Remova!!!" Launching himself with a tuck and a roll, he quickly made it through the wall, readying himself for another strong electric bolt to jolt through his enemies, while the guards quickly rush after him. Soon, the spell that allowed Isa to travel through the wall, locked him within. Looking at the once plain wall, Isa could now see a foot and an arm protruding from the surface. He knew instantly that the guards didn't make it through the wall. He knew that their were about five now stuck in the stone. Slowly their arms returned into the wall. The second spell cast on the wall caused it to continually look like those around it. That meant if anything were to happen to it, it would return to it's original state by displacing the new matter deep within the crust of the planet.

Amazingly Zyx was still asleep in the corner. Isa knew he should sleep too, but he also needed to get them out of there. But, through the wall, Isa heard the guards mumble. He only heard bits and pieces of the conversation.

"You.... get.... her....Angel....open...us...then.....kill..."

Son of a gun. They have an angel on their side. Slowly the click of heels broke the silence within the room. An angel in red stood before Isa. Saying nothing, she swatted him across the room with a massive gust, knocking him unconscious. Isa's head pounded every moment he laid in the dark. Yet he knew this was recovering his strength. Hopefully when he awoke, he would be able to free both Zyx and himself both.

Back awoke suddenly, panting and squinting, searching the room for the women he'd seen just minutes ago. He sighed slightly, just another dream, he thought to himself, but it was so real. He placed his face in his palms, wincing with pain as the sweat covered his hands. He lifted his head again and noticed the source, his hand was badly wounded, the his right palm covered in numerous cuts. He was taken aback by the sight he'd just endured in a dream, in reality.

He rose from the bed, removing his shirt and throwing it to the floor. He entered the bathroom, washing off his face and looking at himself in the mirror. His eyes returning to their normal state.

Zyx looked around, but all he could see was black in all directions. He turned around and Legnar was standing there, smiling.

"Hello Zyx."

"Legnar," Zyx sighed, "I'm doubting myself. I can't measure up to Isa or any of the other angels for that matter. I'm not human anymore, but I'm not angel. What am I suppose to do?" Legnar smiled.

"Zyx, you're not angel and you're not human. You're something completly different. Something new. And maybe even better." Zyx looked up at Legnar. "Oh, and Zyx. Explosão Do Fogo Do Inferno."

Zyx's eyes suddenly snapped open, wide awake. He looked at Isa on the floor and the femal angel standing above him. There was no one else in the room, which was very, very odd for the rebel base. Zyx immediatly knew what was happening. This was a rebel raid.

Looking at the angel, he realized she didn't know he was awake yet. He knew he had to take this to his advantage somehow. Then he remebered what Legnar had told him. Explosão Do Fogo Do Inferno.

Zyx waited. The red-cladded angel walked over towards Isa. Zyx sprung up and pointed his hands at the female angel. His left eye glowed as he let out a small smirk.

"EXPLOSÃO DO FOGO DO INFERNO!!!" A massive, black fireball erupted out of Zyx's hand and rocketed towards the female. She turned in turn to see it heading straight towards her. She held out her hand and conjured up a shield.

But given the small amount of time she had, the shield wasn't too good. The fireball hit against the shield and stopped for a split-second. It then ripped through the sheild with a sickening tearing sound and exploded when it touched the angel. The angel let out a small yelp of pain and flew back under the force of the fireball. She hit the wall and slumped down.

Zyx smiled as the red-clad angel slumped. "Take that...and know...if the room would...stop spinning..." Zyx trailed off as he fell to the ground, unconscious. Hopefully Isa would wake up.

Drake opened the door to the dimly lit room where Reiji sat, awaiting further instructions. The elvish servant that had tended to Reiji before, had started walk towards the overlord, ready to resume his duties. Drake simply lifted his hand, stopping him where he stood. As he came closer, he began to speak to the elf.

"Kugo, why don't you tend to our guest. Show him to his room. But no darts this time." Drake began to walk past the servant.

As he bowed, Kugo replied to the vampire, "Yes, milord."

"Oh, Kugo." Drake halted, and turned to face the servant.

"Yes, milord?" Kugo swiftly and elegantly turned to meet Drake's gaze with a smile.

"Why don't you see to the Yael, yourself. No need for the guards." With that, Drake motioned for the two guards to follow him out. The elf stood wide-eyed and stunned, obviously scared for his life.

"Y-yes, milord..."

As Drake slowly rounded the bend, he smiled to himself. Let's see if his manners improve, now.

====================

The figure of the vampiric overlord descended the staircase. He no longer wore his cape, and had his cuffs undone. As he gazed around, Drake made his way to the last remaining guests. Ryu, was near the bar, helping put up the chairs on the tables.

"What in heaven's name are you up to my boy?" Drake asked as he neared Ryu. The elven overlord turned towards Drake and smiled.

"It's nothing. Where have you been?" Ryu replied. The two overlords embrace briefly. They pulled away shortly after so that Drake could respond.

"On business. Where has our lady run off to?"

"Loranna?" Ryu chuckled a little bit before continuing, "she became intoxicated enough that she started to dance on the tables. I escorted her out to her ride."

As he laughed aloud, Drake attempted to speak, "And I missed it?" He and Ryu both shook their heads.

"You still haven't answered my question my friend."

Drake looked stunned at such persistance from his old friend. "Relax, no need to worry. I just needed a word with a few new bloods around here."

"And Dima?" Ryu said coldly.

Drake sighed at the mention of his nemesis' name. As he looked to either side, Drake saw a few stray glances from around the room. They immediately returned to their duties upon being spotted. "You know, you're right, my friend. Your questions deserve answers, but I think that another time would certainly be more suitable." He looked to either side to signal the importance of gossip to Ryu.

"Please don't avoid the questions." Ryu's face became stern, certainly worried for the well-being of his friend. Or worse, for others.

Quickly, Drake dodged this line of questioning, "Why don't you stay the night my friend. There are certainly enough rooms here for you to make your choice. This must be better than a stay at a shabby hotel, or the long trip back to your home. We can talk tomorrow. You must be exhausted." After a short pause, Drake added, "So what do you say?"

Ryu's look didn't waver. The cold gaze of his serious side, frightened Drake. Something all too unfamiliar to the vampire, he shifted his weight in discomfort. Swallowing hard, he waited for his long time friend to respond.

Taurus lay in the soft grass trying to fall asleep. she remembered a time when she wanted nothing more but to nap in the grass. Her mother insisted a proper lady slept in a bed. The kind of attitude typicaly cam withh wealth. Ironically enough now she wanted nothing more than to be in that bed next to her sister Sophitia sleeping. She used to feel so safe.

Sophitia was beatiful and strong. She was very moody and a bit of a femenist and Taurus idolised her. She had soft shoulder length dark brown hair and brown eyes to match. She had pail cream skin unlike Taurus's dark tan. She wasn't very tall like her other siblings either. Sophitia stood at only 5'4". She was very thin and pretty, but she had strong muscular arms. She liked to take charge and be the leader, but so does Taurus. So they often clashed. Still they loved eachother dearly. They were sisters.

Taurus opened her eyes. Hayden stood next to her. Horses were getting pretty rare in this time. Her family was lucky to have the luxury of having horses. She had riden her pinto Hayden away from her home when she had been told she was aloud to leave though her surviving family members would be made slaves.

Giving up on sleep She got up and climbed on Hayden's back. "Hayden let's ride to the villege just over that hill. Maby we can find food I could buy a bath use their well to wash you down. Maby this will be the one, the home we've been looking for." She made a clicking sound and Hayden began to walk.

She thought about her few belongings. She had some nuts and berries she had found, some herbs, candles, an empty match box, Two thin blankets and one baby blanket, a worn pillow, a stuffed lamb, a china doll, two pairs of pants, one skirt, three blouses one pair of boots the simple white dress she was wearing, A brush, One ribbon to hold her hair, two knives, a bow and arrow, and some ropes. Just a bunch of extra stuff to carry yet she didn't ever leave it behind. She also carried another item wrapped in wax paper in a leather bag. It was a beautiful gown. A gown she had been planning to sell but for some reason hadn't. Perhaps she just enjoyed the thought of having something nice again and was ready to give it up.

"Hayden maby if We have enough mony after that we can get you some oats." After these words his head perked up. "I could buy a deck of cards, a new dress -something cheep ofcorse- but still wouldn't that be nice." She let out a sigh.

She felt her mony pouch that hung off her shoulder from its thick leather strap. She pulled out the money it wasn't much but it was enough. She returned it to the pouch.

"It will be so great." She smiled.

When the arrived she could smell the blood, but she still kept her hopes up. She could here people talk. The spoke of a blood thirsty ware wolf, Valeria, And three of the lords Ryu, Dima, and Drake. Of a half human half angel and a full angel teeming up together and doing well bad stuff. She didn't pay too much attention though you could never trust gossip. The sun had just finally finished rising.

"Hayden this day shall be interesting I can feel it." She whispered softly.

Drake looked at Ryu in a frightening way.

"Do I look the scary???" Ryu looked at him.

"No not really.." Drake shuffled around a bit.

"Oh."

A small noise was heard and Ryu turned around.

"Sure.. let's spend the night together." Ryu smiled.

Drake looked relieved and said, "Alright. Well goodbye for now."

"Yes goodbye." Ryu walked off.

He gracefully walked up the stairs and into his room.

"My lord?" A servant popped her head in. "Do you want anything?"

"Not now. Thank you anyways." Ryu stared out in the front where the kingdom stood.

Taurus knew people other than drunken men and ladies of the night Would be waking up in a couple of hours. She was happy because then the markets would open but until thenperhaps she could find a room.

She got off the handsom hayden and lead him by his rains perhaps she could get a lead roe too. Only if she sold that dress. She wandered the streets until she found a hotel. She put hayden in the stabels out back after paying the two nights fee and went to her own room it was small and a bitwarn down but clean and there was a bed.

--~--*--~--*--~--*--~--*--~--*--~--*--~--*--~--*--~--*--~--*--~--*--~--*--~--*--~--

That mid morrning she awoke and she comed her hair and walked out to the stabels being sure to take all of her belongins with her. She went out in search of a bath house.
"Hayden they brushed you and cleaned you that hotel had some stabel boy." She smiled on the way.
The bath house wasn't very far down the street. She tied Hayden up out front and went in. The bath was cheep and it felt good. She looked in the mirror she sure cleened up nice she tied her hair in a ribbon and put on her trousers and a deep green blouse she smiled at her self in the mirror she was pretty wasn't she. She went bavk out and rid Hayden to the market place first she bought a hen. Then some veggies and fruits. She took a bight out of a large onion she had bought and coninud looking She bought oats for hayden and fed him some right away.
'not too much' she thought 'just enough for a treat.' She strapped the brown sack to hadens back and went into a book shop. She wandered a bit looking then she smelled something strange she searched for the cause. An old tattered and torn leather covered yellow paged book sat on a shelf. She read the cover 1772 it was in graved and painted gold.
"Sir how much fo this book ?" She asked it reeked of magic.
"How much are you willing to pay he smoled greedily.
'Why doesn't she read the price on the shelf that worthless old thing only 40 cents bet she'll pay more' he thought.
"oh I don't know 75 cents" She smiled
"Ninety" he replied
"Eighty" She shook her head at the stupidity of the argument.
"Eighty-five final offer." He narrowed hi eyes
"eigthty- five" it is she grabbed two other books that cost a dollar fifty each "and I'll be getting these too." She said as she handed him three eighty-five.
As she walked out she said one last thing to th store keeper. "Why didn't you just read the cover? This valuable thing is worth alot more than only forty cants I could have been charged thousands more" She grinned bravely and whispered to the man. "It was made in 1772 700 0r so years ago." and with that she exited. She put the books in her sack and road to another shop.

((Ditsy_Taurus888, your posts are kind of hard to read.))

Zyx slowly opened his eyes. He still felt tired and his head felt like it was going to split apart. Swearing under his breathe, he slowly stood up. All his muscles were stiff, probably from the odd position he had fallen asleep in. He slowly looked around the room.

The room was still a wreck, carrying scars from the battle of the previous night. The femal angel was gone but the crater where she had hit the wall was still there. Zyx walked over to where Isa was. He was just waking up.

'Figures,' Zyx thought to himself, 'I pull off an advance spell and pops here sleeps through it.' Zyx stood there and waited for Isa to regain his senses, doing a dew stretches to work out his swore muscles. He stretched his wings and yawned.

"We need to go," Isa said standing up.

"Yeah, this base is trash. We should gather up some stuff though," Zyx said as he started gathering some food. Nothing too heavy, just some of the dehydrated fruits and other things the rebels lived on.

"Look here," Isa said, calling Zyx over. He was holding a map. "This," he pointed as he spoke, "is the location of the nearest rebel base that's still secure. That's where were going. Memorize its location. We can't bring the map. It'd be too dangerous to be caught with."

"We should probably split up, too," Zyx said as he studied the map. Isa nodded in agreement as Isa tore and burned the map, making it indistinguishable from any other peice of trash. Zyx stored the little food he had in hid a small bag and started to walk towards to wall. "I'll meet you there," he said to Isa as he cast the Remova spell and walked through the wall.

Once outside he looked around. He was in the back alley. There was no one around. "Camouflaugun transforma, elf." Zyx became his elf form again. He looked around and walked out of the alley, into the main streets. As he walked into the street he bumped into an elven girl that had dirty blonde hair with lavander and sea foam streaks. "Excuse," Zyx murmered, trying to be polite and draw no attention to himself.
