Kamuro
Bach bandaged his hand tightly and clenched his fist after just finishing, making sure he would be able to use it if need be. He felt the pain yet he knew it would pass with time and he would return to normal. As he sat silently in his room he decided it best that he not spy on Drake. Although he was heavily interested in the beast fight and matters at hand, Drake had been kind to him and he thought it wrong to return the kindness with deceit. Instead, he had an offer for Drake, and as he left the room he made his way to the Overlord's chambers. As he entered he saw Drake sitting in his chair looking over something on his desk. No doubt he'd just returned, his face seemingly fluttered and his mind burdened with thought. "Oh, hello Bach, do you need something?" he asked politely, smiling. "Yes, I'd like to discuss something with you," Bach implied, approaching the desk. "Then have a seat, would you like something to drink?" asked Drake motioning for a servant. "No, I'm fine," he spoke quietly. "I overheard your conversation with Dima," he said, his eyes watching Drake closely as he became a bit flustered, then angry that his privacy had been invaded. "I don't appreciate being watched and my matters are really none of your business Bach," Drake returned, much less polite then before. "Of course, my lord. It was my mistake, however, I'm glad I heard what I did. You see, Dima is dangerous, and his influence is nothing to take lightly. Surely your beast will prevail, but what of the situation after the fight? My proposition is this, allow me to be your body guard. We've known each other for quite some time and although our friendship has somewhat faded you know of my loyalty and my skills. They might prove quite useful under your command." Drake pondered a bit. The two had known each other for a long while, but Bach had become a mercenary and they lost touch for a long period of time. However, Drake trusted this old friend and accepted his offer. "I accept. I will share everything that's been going on with you, but you must keep it between only us. You will take my orders and only my orders, is that clear?" he asked sternly. "Yes sir, of course," returned Bach, glad he hadn't been turned down by the Lord. "Very well then." OOC: Hope this is alright Omino, I wanted to involve my character in some of the main story line. He's a mysterious guy but he's a strong fighter and you can use him however you see fit. Their past is a mystery for now but their stories interwine I assure you.
Lostcause
As Isa walked through the streets, closing in on his new rendezvous, he couldn't get the red angel off of his mind. An angel working against the resistance? Why would she do such a thing? Questions poured in through his head. This angel of red walked in a very upper class-like manner. She had a since of prestige about her. An yet, her genetics placed her no where near the aristocrats, except for their trophy rooms. Continuing down the crowded streets, Isa soon made it to simple food and drink vender. "Water, please." "I'm gonna' need to see some ID my friend, I can't go around sellin' everything to humans ya' know, or them damn fairy-like angels," replied the lowly vampire. Clenching his fists, Isa quickly pulled out his fake ID. Everyone throughout the underground had them. Sadly though, the upper-class had found out about them, and now they frequently enact more changes to the ID's that way they are not so easily counterfeited. "Yael, eh." The vender glanced over Isa's face many times. He tried to decide what to do with the customer. Isa knew it would have been much simpler to just disguise himself as an elf or some sort, but he felt wrong in those forms. "Whose your master?" "Lord Drako, he owns the pub down a few blocks. Meanest son of a gun I've ever met, but hey, he has respect for his low life scum. I just needed to get out for a bit. Gave me this damn bracer that way I wouldn't go too far, things heavier than a.... what did they call them... OH, yeah, a whale." Isa quickly cast a spell, creating a heavy metal bangle around his left wrist. He hoisted it up to the counter. The vender took it in. "Well well well, looks like old Drako knows how to deal with you scum." Laughing it off, the vender got a wooden cup, and reached over to the faucet, and filled it to the brim with water. "This one's on me, I know how tough it is as a slave, used to be one myself." "Really? A vampire a slave, that's something new." Isa really had no interest in the man's past, present, or future. All he knew was he just received a refreshment for free, and figured he might as well try his best to respect the beast's offer. "Yeah, got caught foolin 'round with a human. Never thought they would catch me. But then when I refused to feed on her, they found out. I was enslaved for about 6 months. It wasn't all that bad. Kaida really didn't like me, but I figure, ' Hey, I made it this far, I might as well keep on going'. So, I moved out here and now, I'm a venda'. It ain't all that bad." Finishing his drink, Isa put the cup back, and said thanks. He gave the vampiric man a hand shake, and then left. "HEY, BUD, I THOUGHT YOU WERE DRAKO'S PET. AIN'T THAT THE OTHER WAY?" Shit, didn't expect him to be that smart. "Uh, YEAH, BUT I GOTTA GO FINISH A DEAL WITH BALMUNG. THEY'RE THINKIN ABOUT SELLIN THE PLACE." "ALRIGHT MAN. KEEP YA' SELF SAFE." Turning towards "Balmung's bar", Isa felt a feeling of relief overflow him. That could have gotten really bad really quick. I need to start to focus my thoughts more. Walking away, Isa saw the bodies of the burning yael once more. He felt horrible, but at the same time he knew there was nothing to be sorry over. The were going to attack him, possibly even kill him. What he did was in self defense, and that makes it okay. Shaking his head, and walking away, the crowd started to quiet down a bit. Isa turned to see the focus of everyone's attention. And there she was, in broad daylight, the Red Angel. She was talking to the vender. Oh crap. Isa quickly turned around and darted through the crowd, keeping low, about at everyone's waist. People were amused and insulted by Isa's form of movement. He knew if he kept low, that they would have to check every alley he passed. Finally, Isa saw the checkpoint gate. There was one gate in each of the four cardinal directions. Isa slowly calmed himself, returning to his standing posture among the crowd. As he neared the northern gate, Isa knew he was going to have trouble. To make it through the gate, they checked your I. D. with up to date standards. After that, your belongings were checked, and you were patted down, incase you had wings for angels, or any other weapons or contraband on you. then you passed through the gate, received your luggage and went on your way. Isa knew he could never make it through the checkpoint. His I. D. was starting to get outdated, he was surprised the vender didn't catch him. Guess he wasn't all that brilliant as I gave him credit for. Glancing about, Isa honed in on an ancient sewer main down an alley to his left. Innocently walking over to the alley, Isa ran to the back. "Mude A Terra Uniformidade!" Hastily the wall formed and become identical to all the others surrounding it. Flipping the main up, Isa climbed down the ladder while cover the sewer main again. Isa sunk into the waste that settled within the old tubes. Who the hell makes this much of a mess. THESE THINGS ARENT EVEN USED ANYMORE. "Geada." Slowly, ice crept over the waste, making it as solid as the rock above. Isa looked around. After he realized that he was actually alone, Isa started skating on his shoes down the tunnels. As he reached the end of the tunnel, about a mile outside of the city walls, Isa heard things coming from behind him. Echoes bounced off the walls. Isa heard something pertaining to magic, and hunting someone down. They're in the sewers now, great. I bet that scarlet angel realized it. No way anyone else could. Hey, that sounds like a good name for that stranger, Scarlet. With a smirk, Isa quickly jumped and spread his legs, catching himself up above the waste. With a snap, the ice quickly melted, and returned to its liquid form. "Choque." Sending a jolt through the water, Isa heard Scarlet's minions jump, slamming their heads into the sewer walls. "You idiots. Get your butts in gear." After that, Isa quickly ran out of the exit. He returned the barred gate back to its original position, and then quickly found himself within a swamp. Oh, from smelly sewers to swampy jungles. Realizing that the enemy was closing in on him, Isa quickly spread his wings, and propelled himself through the forest's canopy with no problem. About fifteen minutes later, Isa found a dead tree laying on it's side. He quickly climbed in. The massive headache that had been pounding on the inside of his head demanded rest for Isa's tired mind. He knew he was vulnerable at the moment, but he was starting to feel comfortable with that feeling. Since he and Zyx first encountered each other, things have been becoming a slight bit more complicated for Isa. As he drifted off into sleep, the headache, thoughts of Scarlet, and his past all let him be. He knew he would sleep well that night. Finally closing his eyes, Isa felt calm for the first time in a long while.
Ditsy_Taurus888
"hey budy!" Taurus yelled at the man while calming hayden. She kept a tight grip on the new lead rope she had bought. "Shhh. honey ." She patted the horses head affectionately. "Sorry." The guy muttered and began to walk away. "Oh no! You don't just mumble an apologie. Didn't your mom ever teach you proper manners? I'm a ladie. you bumped into me. I wasn't paying much attention either so I'm sorry for that. But give me a better apologie than 'suee'." She mocked him a little but her tone of voice was cheerful and friendly. She was also giving her trademark smile. She was clearly having fun with the situation. "sorry." He said a little louder and a little annoyed. "I have to be some where, so let me pass." "Hey buddy what's up with your eyes. They're two different colors that's kind of..." She said in awe. those eyes were the type of eyes you don't see just every day.
Makurayami
'Oh, damn,' Zyx thought to himself. The girl had just mention his eyes. They were two different colors. They shouldn't be when he was in his elf form, but obviously the lack of sleep and amount of magic casting was getting to him. He was becoming sloppy. He figured he better just play it off, though. If his form was getting sloppy, he had no idea how long his elven camoflauge was going to last. "It's nothing," he said quickly. "What do ya' mean it's nothing? Your eyes are two different colors," the girl responded, obviously a bit curious about his eyes. "It's nothing," he said again, a little louder and a bit more irrated. He looked past the girl and saw a few Yaels and elves behind her. The Yaels were dogs and wolves and were sniffing around the area. A few pointed at them with quizical looks, but Zyx knew what they were doing. They were rebel hunting. One of them looked up and spotted Zyx. He looked like he might have recognized him or maybe not. Zyx didn't want to find out. "I have to go," Zyx said quickly to the girl sternly, disregarding all politness. Urgency was more important now. He quickly walked off towards a nearby alley. He walked to the end of the alley and waved his hand. "Mude A Terra Uniformidade," he muttered, borrowing a spell from Isa. The wall formed a box-shaped room around him and blended in with the others. He should be safe, but something was bothering him. That girl seemed to be new around the area. And the Yael had seen him talking to the girl. Odds were they would take her into custudy and interegate her. And even if she didn't know anything, which she didn't, they would still imply their toruture methods on her. With a deeps sigh, Zyx waved his hand at the wall. "Rmova," he muttered, figureing he should leave the room there instead of destroying his work. He ran out into the street and saw the girl standing at the begining of the alley, watching the group of Yaels and elves. He grabbed the reins of the horse and gave them a great tugg. The horse, though a little shocked, followed behind him. The girl started shouting something, but Zyx wasn't listening. He ran through the wall into his little room he had made and closed the spell behind him, returning the wall to its normal state. The room was a bit cramped with a horse and two people in it, but it would have to suffice. Zyx dropped his elven form and returned to his normal form, his wings hidden beneath his black trenchcoat coat. He looked at the girl and gestured for her to be quiet. She must have seen the urgency in his face, because she fell silent. Zyx listened and heard the Yaels and elves come down the alley. The minutes that passed were some of the most tense minutes of Zyx's life. He had no idea if the girl would talk, revealing his location, or if his spell would hold. He waited and finnally heard the rebel hunters start walking away. Zyx let out a sigh of relief and sat down against the wall. He looked up at the girl. "I guess I owe you some type of explanation, don't I?" he sighed.
alchemist2120
Reiji woke up to the sunlight comming through the window. His eyes were not yet used to it, mainly because he used to live in a cell that had a window that was smaller than a book. "Damn. Why the hell is it so bright?" He sat up and set his feet on the floor. It was cool under his bare feet. He sighed and realized that he was hungry when his stomach growled. "Well. Now might be a good time to get something to eat. But, where the hell is the kitchen?" He slowly walked out of the door and looked around the hallway."Well, guess I could always go to a market or something." He nodded at his idea and the quickly shut the door as he walked over to the big window that was on the far wall in his room. He opened it and took in a big breath of the fresh air. "This is great. I can really spread my wings out here." He let his wings open to their full spread, only about eight feet, but for a crow, that was big. He flapped them a couple of times until he lifted off of the ground. He quickly made his way over the gates and past the guards, who didnt even notice him flying over their heads. "I may have to tell Drake about that. They arent even doing a good job. Oh, well. Not isnt the time." He decided to fallow a street that looked promising. He fallowed about a mile and started seing building lined up one after another along the widening street. As he landed near the first building, he saw a couple Yeal and Elves looking around for someone, or something. He watched them look in an allyway, then come out and continue their search. "Cool. A real man hunt. I've only hear about these. Never saw one before." He watched the hunters leave in the distance, then decided to see if he could find the person they were looking for in the allyway. He walked into the ally and didnt see anything out of the ordinary,"Guess they really didnt come this way. Maybe they went on the roof." He flapped his wings ntil they lifted him the the top of the building, then he began to look around. He decided to stop and watch everything going on around the street, deciding when the best time to get food would be.
Ditsy_Taurus888
"Damn right!" Taurus smirked a little amused. "I am half angel half human-" Zyx began. "You don't have to explain every thing just tell me why you dragged me here." Taurus smiled. "While those guys out there are after me, and-" "They saw me talking to you so you figured theyed probably take me into their custody and what not. Me being the ever so helpless woman would be incapeable of fighting them off and I'd probably be tortured and all that other jazz. Is that pretty close bub." She said sarcastically. "Yeah." He said not quite knowing how to respond to that. "That's kind of sweat in a male shouvenist kind of way." She laughed. "You're an odd one." He said a little confused. "I suppose I should tell you some thing about my self." She put her hand on her chin in thought. "If you want." "Ahh but what to tell you? Ohh I'm a day walking vampire and I'm pretty certain my whole family was slaughtered a year ago by one of my fathers enemies." She said with faulse cheer. "Oh don't worry I'm not gonna bight you... unless you want me too." "That's okay." After that they were silent for a while.
Lostcause
Isa awoke slowly in the middle of the night. He stretched as he began to regain consciousness. With his mouth gaping, Isa let out an enormous yawn. At that instant a grub, from the log in which Isa made camp in, fell into his mouth. Isa's eyes shot wide open as the slimy insect crawled down Isa's esophagus. Coughing and gagging, Isa sat up only to have more insects fall from the ever crumbling ceiling. Brushing himself off, Isa darted out of the log. "That was the worst awakening I have ever had." Finally being able to stretch, Isa unfolded his wings. The vibrant white feathers sprouted from his wings as he stretched. Although a very studious young angel, Isa was a beautiful creature indeed. He had been given beautiful wings, and his eyes were of a golden hue unmatched by any element. So, where was that base again? Oh yes, past the forest, near the slaughter house. Well, this should be a delightful stroll. Isa looked around. The forest was beautiful in every manner. The lush green canopy shown through the moon light, down to reveal a beautiful floor of wildflowers. Isa had found a remarkable discovery on accident. He landed right smack dab in a natural miracle. It was extremely hard to find flowers anymore; most had died due to the massive amounts of nuclear activity released from the constant bombings. Isa focused in on a rose growing alone on a damaged craft. Walking towards the beauty, Isa remembered what its trellis was once called. Plane? Yes that?s what they called them. Damn mechanical inventions. Humans weren't meant to fly. Picking up the rose, Isa took a gentle whiff of it. A subtle sense of comfort overcame the young angel, followed by a strong desire for affection. These were times were Isa longed for company. He viewed humans while they still roamed these lands. They were creatures that needed the companion ship of the opposite gender to recreate, unlike the angels. Yet, some strange force deep down within his soul yearned for the affection of another. Shaking off the strange feelings, Isa shot himself up to the treetops. At the top of the trees, Isa stood elegantly on one. Looking around Isa could barely make out something in the distance. He jumped down, landing with ease on the ground. He ran over to the "plane" and focused on a piece of the wing. Closing his eyes Isa thought of a simple telescope. He pushed the metal and instantly a telescope was made. Flying back up to the canopy, Isa honed in on the far site. Elves....Ooo, werewolf. Well, I do believe we have found our base. Omino Jaku
As Bach left the room, Drake lowered his head in thought. He then began to massage his temples. Maybe having someone who is strong during the daylight and nighttime hours is a good thing to have around. Drake picked up his glass of blood and began to take a sip. The overlord cringed at the temperature of the liquid and made his way to the bar, off to his right. He reached up and grabbed a metallic rod, and dipped it into his glass. As he pushed a small button on the object, the tip began to glow red hot, heating the blood. Drake stirred the drink for a few seconds, and then tapped the rod on the rim of his glass before returning it to it's holder. The vampire, returned to his seat, and took a sip while he read a piece of paper. The document was boring. A proposal by one of his elven underlings. Drake leaned back in his giant chair as he read the leaflet. Four pages were used, to propose a more efficient tax budget. In the end, the overlord saw through it all. It was just a blatant attempt at robbing the poor blind. However much it might benefit the overlord's pockets, he saw no gain in losing the trust of the common folk. The next piece of paper caught the vampire's attention. It proposed more racial discrimination. Being human at one point in time, he tossed the document to the side. As Drake picked up a document with a red cover, he pushed a button on a device on the right side of the desk. "Jobe." A crackly voice came back over the intercom, "Yes milord?" "Bring Reiji to my study, please." Drake released the button and went on to open the red covered document and read its contents. "Yes milord." Jobe responded. Drake was caught off guard in the next instant, when he heard the door to his study creak open. Startled, he looked up to greet the intruder. "Ah, my dear, how good of you to come." Drake quickly said, as he rose to greet the woman. She bowed and motioned if it was alright for her to enter. Drake smiled and put out his hand to show her to take a seat. The woman in the red dress gracefully walked to the chair and sat, looking down at the floor the entire time. "Hopefully you have some good news for me." Drake said with a grin upon his face. The angel in red replied, "We lost them sir." Drake frowned. "This incompetence cannot be tolerated much further. Why is it so hard for you to catch one of your own kind?" He snapped. She bowed her head in regret and shame. "I-..." "No, my dear." Drake said as he rose to his feet, leaning onto the desk. "You will regret losing the angels for a second time." "Sir, let me explain." She stammered. Drake slammed a fist upon his desk. The angel jumped at his outrage. "Enough. Just find them both, or pay the consequences, Angel." Drake said with a glare. A crackly voice came up on the intercom. "My lord?" Drake calmed himself and pushed the button on his intercom. "Yes?" "Sir, Reiji isn't in his room." Drake lowered his head, leaning forward onto his desk.
lil kitsune boy
It was a little past noon and the guards were getting irritable after a few hours of checking identities at the gate in the rising heat. 'I'm getting sick of this.' one of the guards said as he checked an elf's ID, 'Barely anyone comes through this gate, and this heat's not exactly conducive to armor wearing, either.' 'What do you expect me to do about it?' the other replied as he handed a Yeal his ID back. Suddenly, a cloaked figure appeared standing before them both. His hood obscuring his face from view, leaving only his mouth and nose clearly visible. 'Present your ID.' the first guard said. The man made no move to get his ID, he simply reached up to the clasp the held his cloak on. 'Present your ID.' said the other, more forcefully. The man smirked, 'You wanna know who I am?' he said, tearing the cloak off as the breeze picked up. His eyes were hazel, almost amber and they glowed with a fierce inner light. His hair was disheveled, but in a way the seemed to fit his handsome features and a red band encircled his forehead. He wore a tunic with short sleeves and a leather jacket with the sleeves rolled up to the shoulder. He also had dark pants that ended in black leather boots. He held the cloak with his outstretched arm, the wind sweeping his hair to the side as it blew the cloak across his body, obscuring it from view. Suddenly, he let go of the cloak and raised his hand, palm towards the two guards. 'What do you-' the guards started, then switched to, 'You're a human!' 'Smarter than I gave you credit for,' he said as lightning danced in his outstretched palm, 'Bite of Lightning!' Electricity arced from his hand, catching both of the guards, one in the chest and the other in the head, sending them into seizures. 'If you wake up,' he said, walking past the shaking bodies, 'The name's Lucian, and I'm here to have a 'chat' with the local vampire lord.' With that, he disappeared into the throngs of citizens as quickly as he arrived.
alchemist2120
Reiji sighed and looked back down into the ally,"This is getting old. I should probably head back to the manor. I have a bad feeling I am going to be in a little trouble." He stood up and started to beat his wwings until they lifted him off of the roof of the building. He began to quicly fly twards Drake's estate, which at his speed only took about five minutes. As he landed in his room he heard a knock at the door. He slowly opened the door and saw the servent that had druged him twice. "Master Reiji. Where have you been? Master Drake has been calling for you. He wishes to meet with you. Please fallow me." Jobe motioned for Reiji to fallow him down the elegantly decorated hallway. "Hey, servent person. I still don't know what your name is. Go ahead and tell me will you?" Reiji said as he put an arm around Jobe's shoulder. "Sir, ist Jobe." He said as they reaced the fancy door leading into Drake's room. "Please enter, Master Drake is waiting for you." Jobe knocked on the door a couple of times, then slowly entered the room. "Master, Reiji has returned." Jobe said as he gave his master a small bow. "Good, bring him to me." Drake said looking up as Reiji entered the room and stopped in front od Drake's desk. Reiji bowed, then sat in the chair Drake was motioning twards. "You should be more careful about your adventures off this estate. The townsfoolk aren't going to be used to seeing their Champion Gladiator walking the streets."Drake said as he leaned back into his chair. "I am sorry. I couldn't resist. It was my first time outside of your compounds. Next time I shall ask before I leave." Drake smiled and nodded as he looked down at the red folder on his dest. "That would be the best. i am glad you are safe, Reiji." He said as he looked up at Reiji. "Thank you very much. So, tell me, why did you want to see me. And do forgive me for being so blunt, you do know how I like to just throw everything on the table, from our last meeting." He smiled at Drake who returned his gaze. Omino Jaku
"Alright, if you wish to just cut the chit chat, as usual." Drake said with a little chuckle. With that, he rose to his feet to hand Reiji the red document. "What's this?" Reiji asked as he leaned forward to accept the folder. "Your job. All the details that you need should be enclosed within." Drake said. "Sounds good." Spoke Reiji, briefly shuffling through the papers. "Certainly doesn't look too challenging." "That's because this one is to see if you're up to snuff." "You doubt my abilities?" Reiji stood taller as he spoke. Drake returned to his seat with a grin. "No, not at all my dear Champion. Your loyalties." Reiji seemed motionless for a moment, before he gave a smile. "Everything I need is in here?" The yael waved the red folder. Drake only nodded and crossed his hands in his lap. "So what has this poor bloke done to deserve to be knocked off?" Reiji smiled. The overlord frowned and seemed to grow angry. "My dear assassin, you would do well to watch your tongue. If you must know, the 'poor bloke' in question has been embezzling the peoples' taxes for almost three months now." Drake snapped back. "However, it might serve you best not to know of my affairs with these jobs of yours. If it becomes too much of a hassle, I can just as quickly send you back to the arena." Reiji frowned, "I'm sorry, I guess I shouldn't shove my beak where it's not needed." "No harm done, my friend. Just as long as we know where we stand." Drake leaned forward in his chair, leaning his elbows onto his desk and interlocking his fingers. Reiji still looked irritated, "Yes sir." The two sat and stared at each other for a long moment. Drake was the first to speak. "Well now if you would excuse me, I do have my duties to attend to. And please do forgive my outburst. Must've been the alcohol talking." Drake smiled and rose to his feet and rounded the desk, to help show the yael out. Reiji stood, being extra careful with his wings, not to knock anything over or hit Drake. "Oh, Reiji." Drake said as he held the door. The yael turned to meet Drake's gaze. "I do hope that you don't disappoint me." Reiji only smiled before leaving to return to his room.
Makurayami
It had been silent for a long time now. Zyx leaned his ear to the stone wall. It sounded like the hunterd were gone now. Just had to check. "Vista," he muttered. His vision instantly shifted to the street outside. It then turned side-ways and checked both directions. Everything seemed clear. Zyx ended his spell and turned to the girl. She was a new complication and he knew Isa would kill him if he showed up with her. He was already displeased with him most of the time. Zyx just didn't know why. "Listen, kid," Zyx said, tired of listening to the girl talk. He had given her time to talk, it was his turn now. "I am leaving. You have two options. One, forget you ever saw me and try to continue living in this town. Or two, leave town and forget you ever saw me. The choice is yours." Zyx walked to the fake wall and waved his hand, removing the wall. He stretched his black wings. The girl behind him let out a small gasp. "What?" Zyx said, a bit irrated. Lack of sleep, spell casting, and a manhunt after him. He had reason to be irrated. "Your wings..." she said. "What about them?" "Their black. I thought you were an angel..." "I'm half angel. I'm not worthy to bear the angels' magestic wings," Zyx said quietly. He flapped his wings and lifted his feet off the ground. "Velocidade do foguete!" With a great beat he shot into the air and towards the direction of the base, faster then anything. To the untrained eye he was just a blur. demonchild781
Valeria stretched her arms out as she sat up in her feathered bed. She ran her slender fingers through her long black hair. She tilted her head to see if Drake was still in bed, but he had already vanished and was doing his various duties. "Are you awake, my mistress," Asher's gentle voice slid from the door way and into the room. The young girl turned her head to see the blonde boys bright eyes staring at her. "Fetch my brush." Valeria said simply. The elven boy nodded as he slid through the small opening in the door and closed it behind him quietly. He rushed across the red carpet, collected a brush that sat on a vanity, and made it hastily back over to Valeria. Valeria slid forward, wrapping the thin red sheet around her naked body as Asher climbed up behind her. He struggled to keep his focus on the brush and running it gently through her long hair, instead of staring at her bare back. He could feel his heart starting to race and the hairs on the back of his neck starting to rise. Valeria smirked as Asher ran the brush a few more times through her hair before swirling around. Asher stumbled back, catching himself with his hands. Valeria crawled above him, the sheet seperating their bodies as she stared down into the boy's eyes. "You think I'm dumb?" Valeria said with some sting to her words. "No," Asher stuttered. "Then you should learn to control," she paused for a brief moment as she ran her hand up Asher's thigh. "Yourself better." Valeria crawled off the bed and started towards her vanity. Asher laid on the bed for a moment longer before slidding off the bed and sneeking out the door. Valeria smiled as she turned her head just in time to see the door click shut. ****************************** Valeria was dressed in a fine black satin dress with delicate looking formal saddles. Her hair was loose around her face and across the long dip in her gown. The fabric laid perfectly on her firmly curvy frame and swayed with every step she took. Her shoes made a bit of noise as she made her way through the main lobby and towards Drake's study. Valeria looked down for a bried second to smooth a wrinkle in the mid-section of her dress and suddenly slammed into something. She stumbled back and nearly fell onto her butt before catching her balance again. She threw her head up, sending her hair flying behind her, as she looked up to see what she had run into. Her fiercious snarl turned to a wicked smile when she realized who she had bumped into. "Well, well, well. If it isn't Bach." "Mistress," the dark haired, human-like man lowered his head. "Are you alright?" "Fine," she said, standing up straight and smoothing her dress. She brighten her smile as she playfully looked Bach over. "You were just with Master Drake," Valeria said after taking a deep breath through her nose. "Yes," Bach said simply. Valeria tightened the distance between the two of them, leaving a space of maybe half an inch between their bodies. Bach looked down at the human appearance of the well-known werewolf as she stared back into his eyes. Valeria brought her hands up, wrapping one arm around Bach's neck and placing the other firmly against his chest. "You smell delicious." Valeria licked her lips. "Can I help you, mistress?" Bach replied. "No," Valeria smiled playfully as she ran her fingers across his chest as she slipped past him and nearly running into a red dressed angel. "Watch where you're going." Valeria growled as she shoved the girl to the floor. "I am sorry, Mistress. I did not--" the woman began to stammer. "No excuses." Valeria growled as she continued towards Drake's study, passing a Yael along the way. Valeria slowly entered the study to stare at her Lord. He was elegantly dressed and his stare so warm. "Ah, my dear Valeria, you look splendid today."
Lostcause
O.O.C. It's been so long!!!! OB, and fellow members, I am so very deeply sorry that I have been so busy. It seems like so long ago. So, here we go. Isa jumped across the treetops, nearing the edge of the mystical forest. As his destination became more visible, Isa soon realized what was about. His keen angel eyes good easily sense magical energies about, and the auras around each of the guards identified them as being hallucinations. Without stopping, Isa jumped from the last tree and spread his wings, soaring low along the ground. His wings sliced through three elvish guards and a werewolf with ease. Immediately after dissipating into the air, the figures reformed their shapes. Almost simultaneously, a door opened. "ISA, THANK GOD YOU CAME." A smaller angel rushed over and grasped Isa with a strong embrace. "Nice to see you too Isis." The young angel stood only four feet tall, with short blonde hair. Many beings often confused her with a young male at first glance, but, her eyes gave her away. The troubled angel's tears ran down Isa's long brown overcoat. "Isis, what troubles you my sweet?" Through mumbles, tears, screams, and moans Isa got the idea that the local high angel had recently passed on, and the general order around here had gone to hell. "I... you... FIX IT!!!!" Isa looked around to find the local holograms were becoming fuzzy, as if the spell was wearing off. He soon realized Isis had put up the guards to confuse any passer-bys. "Calm down Isis, just calm down. We'll go inside and figure this all out. You need to keep focused though, otherwise that spell will fade, and then we have some real issues to deal with." Isa picked up the small child, carrying her as she rested her head on his shoulders. By the time Isa made it to the top of the stairs, Isis was in a slumber. Poor girl, that spell asks too much of her. Isa walked into the building, an old school in years long past. He walked down the main stair case to find a long hall full of old lockers. As he neared the middle of the hall, the metal contraptions flew off the walls and locked creating a simple gate. With a wave of his hand, the lockers returned to their destinations, and more children poured out to welcome Isa with open arms. As the cherubs flew, ran, and walked to meet up with Isa, he had to quietly hush them from waking up Isis. Finding himself among an old room filled with musical instruments, Isa sat Isis in a corner and let her continue her rest. Running into the halls, the doors silently shut behind Isa as he knelt down to meet all the smiling faces. "ISA!" "OH, YES. THEM ELVES ARE DONE NOW.' "Shhh, calm down. I have a question. Has anyone else come here yet?" "No, Isa. We're sorry."
Makurayami
Zyx shot through the forest, barely dodging the trees. His focus was leaving him and it was becoming harder to stear with the spell propelling him at top speed. He ducked, swerved, spun, then hit a branch. With a loud crack the branch fell down and Zyx fell behind it. They both hit the ground. Zyx just layed there, on top of the branch, for five minutes, though it seemed like an eternity. He could feel sleep trying to take him, but pushed it back. Slowly, painfully Zyx stood up. Nothing seemed to be broken, remarkably enough, but he was stiff and hurt all over. He knew his body would be a giant bruise the next morning. Zyx tested his right leg, then his left. It seemed like he would be able to walk, though he would limp a bit. Damn. Zyx limped in a direction for a few minutes. He then came face to face with a few elves and a werewolf. Zyx's hand immediatly went for his dagger that he kept in his coat. He was too weary for spells and it was the only thing he had. But before he could do anything, the figures faded and then dissapeared entirely. Zyx figured they were angel illusions, similar to his camoflauge spell. He must be near the angel base. Though Zyx had heard about it, he had never been in the angel base. He had no idea how the angels would treat someone like him, someone who was half angel. He didn't even know if there had even ever been someone like him. Slowly he limped towards the door, which was barely visable. He more sensed it then saw it. As he made his way to the door he slowy stood upright and stopped limping. It hurt but he figured he'd be better to appear normal then hurt and tired when he saw Isa. He knew Isa would be there. He had a way of being in places like this. As he walked towards the door, it suddenly flew open. Three small angel children came out, each of their hands pointing at Zyx, ready for spell casting. Zyx put away his dagger, smiled and tried to appear friendly. "I'm here for help," he said as he unfurled his wings from underneath his black trench coat. "I'm a friend of Isa, if that's anything to you." As he mentioned Isa's name the young ones suddenly started whispering among themselves. Zyx caught some of it. "...half-angel we've heard about..." "...he said he knew Isa..." "...but can we trust him...?" Zyx smiled, trying to look friendly. The children nodded pointed at Zyx. "Ok, come in, but we have to check with Isa if you're telling the truth." "Yeah, if not, Isa'll fry you to bits." Zyx nodded and allowed himself to be lead in. He noticed two of the three were behind him, but let it go. After a minute or two he was led to Isa, who was in a room surounding by kids. "Oh, you're here," Isa said. Zyx couldn't tell if he was happy of not, but figured he was to lift his spirits. "Yeah. You got a bed in this joint? I've been spell casting non-stop since we last saw each other and I haven't had any down time," Zyx said. When he finished talking he fell down right where he stood. He knew it would look bad in front of the kids and Isa, but he didn't care. He hurt and he was dead tired. He let the darkness take him into the sweet nothingness of sleep. Who Am I?
Ryu woked up and stretched his arms out. He gave out a yawn and plopped back down on his bed. A couple minutes later, he washed his face and took a shower. Soon he spent minutes brushing his long hair. A maiden walked in and asked if he wanted anything. Ryu smiled and said, "Could you get me breakfast?" The maid nodded and left. Ryu was left there, just brushing his hair. [OOC: Sorry... I wasn't here awhile.
