I've decided to become a bit more active, from now on. So, help me out. If you think I'm dying send me massive amounts of PMs. xD;

Anyways. I'm on my little sister's computer, because sadly my computer burned out. I'm a just post up some random things I did in photoshop. Thread will be updated from time to time.

C + C is always a must. I don't care how harsh.
I've been taking GFX creating lightly, so some of these. Are just, utter disappointment or failure. o_o

For this post, it's only three. x__o

[i]I wanted to give a feeling to it. A sort of dark, grungy, angsty, sort of theme. One where one feels intimidated (sp?). Ride the Wings of Pestilence would have to be one of my favorite songs by "emo" punk band From First to Last. What bothers me if my choice in the fonts. D:[/i]

If you want to point them out feel free to. But I have the feeling I know what I did wrong or need to add. Banner just made for the fun of it. xD

[i]Inspired by No Fear designs. This one is actually expiremental. One of my firsts so there's much wrong yes. o__o; Buisness man strangling himself with... Something. I personally don't like it all to much. But I'm sure I'll move onto something more advanced. This is my headstart on vector art.[/i]

I absolutely *heart* the choice of font and how you emphasized the words "blade" and "heart". The colors (or the lack of it in some parts ^^) work well together. The dark upper left corner made it look more sinister and prevented the background from looking too plain/even. One thing though: It looks a bit lacking in the middle area; maybe you could reduce the height a little bit?

[b]Ride the Wings of Pestilence[/b] was interesting, yet creepy at the same time. I don't understand what's going on, and there's alot of grunge, but no real subject or focal point. My rides just roll around it, looking for some specific stock, or even centralized text. The typography in the bottom right corner is good, with proper emphasis on the words and a strong font. However, in the upper left corner is hard to see, thin, and with such a dim background, the color isn't helping either. The message kinda chills me a bit.

[b]Thirteen -- Really![/b] ZOMG TEH SMECKZ!@11!11+shifty. *clears throat* I mean... you're not ugly ^^, you're very far from it. Anyway, I like the picture you used (obviously), and the background is very good. The color fade from black to red as you get closer to you is a great touch. The statistic typography is good as well, and I like the comments. But, the only thing I don't like is the "I'm Thirteen Really!" at the top. Either it's the color that makes it stand out too much, the font that makes it seem too bold, or the placement, making it feel unbalanced. But I love this. ^_^

[b]Business Man[/b] that's damn good for a first vector. I did mine, and eeh... I deleted it off my computer, let alone grace it with coming online. Keep going with that, and you'll go far, judging from how you've picked it up already.

I like this banner quite a lot. I think the combination with the grudge and the tale the text depicts makes it a rather pretty banner. With a Gore or Horror like feel. The text is very well placed and I think you've done a nice job on picking out text color.

I have a very quick side comment, did you cut your hair? I remember it being long in your Public Profile image.

Moving on, you've chosen a very good photo to use. It contrasts very well to the background. A lovely cropping job, especially considering you've ended the little ID banner with your shirt. Nicely chosen font and a good judgment on the amount of text used.

The only flaw I can find is the color of the text on top. A paler shade of red would have worked, sine the basic red which you've used doesn't stand out from the rest of the shades of red you've used in the background.

Very nicely done for a vector. Good choice in colors, however the black out line against the man's skin is slightly distracting. Mainly since it's near up by the green background. Remove the black outline and it'd be perfect.

And now for the obligatory "Where'd you get the font?"

The image's colors are really nice (stimulating!) but were you going for an abstract background? The lovely fontage is pulling my eyes away from the general picture. I feel that the image has de-volved into a simple background and doesn't attract much attention. Maybe you could make the image clearer? Probably up the contrast between the light and dark parts. Or add some more details! In any case, there must be a lovely picture under all those filters. It needs some lovin', yeah?

As you can tell I tried another Vector-ish thing. I made a simplified background because a complicated one, in my opinion wouldn't look to good. Although what I feel really paranoid of is the typography I chose. I don't know if it fits or not.

The traces are kind of sharp at some corners but you did a fine job of rendering the image to solid shapes. The background, though not unique, complements the image and the theme well. (The whole thing reminds me of iPod ads ^^)
