GOT VILLIANS?

After the couple of months, I have been looking at the Best Anime Girl contest run by Bloodseeker and have decided to do a Video game villian version of it. I know that many fan boys/girls will nominate Sephiroth but I won't hold that against them. Its in the form of a Knock Out Tournament, alright?.

There are jsut two major rules to get down
1) Give a reason for nominating a villian, No one line answer will sway me.
2) State what the character is from, I cannot stress how important this rule is. I cannot register your nomination if I don't know what the character is from (Yes and that includes even if the character is well known)

I'm using Bloodseekers introduction to the rules, just changing them to be in my favor. Don't sue

This is how its going to work. You can nominate up to 3 Villians to take part in the tournament. This is to make sure that you only nominate your favorites. Be sure to clarify what RPG they're from. You can include pics if you want (thus the 56K warning thing), but try to keep to one or two pics per character.
I'll start on a draw and make sure that a character like Sepiroth will not be matched up against someone from a little known series because otherwise the scales will tip entirely in the favor of the better known villian.

LET THE NOMINATIONS BEGIN

My three nominations are all from earlier games but are also all despicable.

Luca Blight from Suikoden 2- Damn, This guy is a Villian with a capital V. Take Sephiroth and add a little bit of Sadism, very difficult to take down and not from a massivly popular game and you get Luca Blight, Possibly the most psychotic villian I have ever seen although Kefka is in the same area. He also wears a very visible cup which is cool.

Kefka from Final Fantasy 3/6- Yet another purely evil character who puts up quite a fight. He is abso-frickin-lutely 100% messed up in the head. And he has a funny laugh but he is psychotic to the extreme and would sooner destroy the world then help another person. My one minor problem is how he dressess but maybe he could plead insanity

And one other thing, LET THERE BE NOMINATIONS

I'm making the prediction now, Kefka's gonna win.

Lloyd (Legend of Dragoon)

Not only does this guy look cooler than Sepheroth, he's actually got an interesting character with a motive that's actually logical! I can't get too much into his motive without seriously spoiling a few plot points that are actually somewhat unpredictable, but lets just say that he manipulates a lot of the events in the game. This guy's just badass... some people hate him for a certain event towards the end of the first disk, but he's cool enough to make up for it.

I also second Seymore and Kefka for the reasons mentioned. Talk about a couple of complete psychos!
2. Sorceress- Final Fantasy 8- Okay, honestly I haven't played enough RPGs all the way through to know how bad the villains are, so I pick her. That chick is crazy! She just... is! Im sorry, I really donn't know much other than that she wants to kill stuff.
Ultimicia.

Well, in that case, I have some nominations:

3: Nohman (I think that's how you spell it), from the two Zone of the Enders games (mainly the second one, though he is in the first one). I normally don't go in for the 'destroy everything' type of bad guy, but Nohman makes it work. Why does it work with him? Because he's bat-f**king insane, that's why. The guy's a complete nucase, but he's used well. He's not in your face durring the entire game, and his insanity only becomes clear as you near the end of the game. Also, though the game definatly made you hate him, this was not overdone like it commonly is.

2: Manah, from Drakengard. Manah is a complete freak show. Why? Well, because she's a little girl who happens to be high priestess of the Cult of the Watchers. She performs rituals, sacrifices, and such stuff while clearly enjoying herself, plus her voice constantly changes between 'little girl' and 'demon'. This all comes together to create a very creepy, yet quite excellent 'villian' character.

And last, but not least, my #1 nomination: Bowser, from almost every Mario game. He may be, well, not exactly bright, but you have to admire his determination. No matter how many times Mario kicks his *****, Bowser always comes back for more. Plus, he's the source of much comic relief in Mario $ Luigi and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Plus, he doesn't make you hate him like a lot of villians do, which is a nice change of pace. Sure, he's a bad guy, but he's very likable in his own way (seriously, how can you not love his stuff in Paper Mario: TTYD?).

Oh, and Kefka's not going to win. I'll faint if Sephroth doesn't win (seriously, what is everyone's obsession with him about?).

I change my mind then.

1. Dr. Nefarious- Ratchet and Clank- Hahaha! I love this guy, so evil, so funny, so many things wrong with him! Crazy fool can't even keep himself from playing soap operas. I think he may be gay with his assistant, though.

2. Gannon- The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time- I know hes in most of them, but he's particularly cool in this one. He definetaly made me hate him. The dude not only froze all of the Zoras under the ice, but he tried to sacrifice the Gorons to the maghty dragon Volvaiga.

3. Seymore-as I said before, the guy is a psychopath!
He eliminated the Ronsos for no reason, and tried to marry Yuna.
Please somebody nominate Eggman!

I just have to say I totally love Luca from Suiko2~ Go, Pig killer, go XD I mean, what other guy
makes a woman crawl around on the ground and act like a pig with the promise of saying he'll let her go, only to laugh and kill her after she's done so
I can mention villains from non-RPG games, right? ^^;;;; I thought I read it's video game villains and not just RPGs, but if I'm wrong~ let me know and I'll edit this to just RPG characters

Ash - Galerians Ash - because I'm a sad fangirl. I liked Ash ^^; And it was sorta creepy how the rest of the games villains
turned out to be aspects of Ash's personality. His name is also sort of from three passwords for various computers in the game.... being Anger, Sadness, and Hate. The games other villains, Parano, Spider, and Nitro also represented these things and were "born" out these emotions
Plus he eats uranium and uses it to enslave the human race. XD;

Albedo- Xenosaga --- I mean, the guy
likes to torment several of the games main characters.... he kills a ton of Kirswassers just because they remind him of Sakura (who he hates), despite the fact that the all love him and are pretty much his witless minions...
He's totally nuts ^^; He actually -wants- to die, but can't... so he think that if he connects with U-DO it'll get Nigredo and Rubedo to kill him..... which, isn't really possible ^^; since he has the ability to regenerate his own body (inlcuding his head... cause he blows/rips it off several times just beause he can). But, the poor guy is also scared T_T cause his powers mean he can't die and he'll live forever and he doesn't want to be alone

He also says things like "Ah, yeeessss? Feed me your hostility?pierce me with your hatred." ^^;;; Creepy.

(randomly, if you don't know the characters.... a Kirswasser is in the image I included)

Albert Wesker - Resident Evil/Bio Hazard -
The guy leads the S.T.A.R.S. team into the mansion in the first game with the intent of
watching them all die so he can collect field data on the crazy monsters and such. He injects himself with T-Virus after altering it so he won't loose control of himself...
he releases the Tyrant,
hoping it will kill him and the S.T.A.R.S. members Jill and Chris... but, the virus will bring him back to life
*dun, dun, dun* They get ayway, but he still has crazy super powers. And this all just in the first game *laughs*
He goes through the rest of the games trying to kill Chris (XD; and it never work), stealing various virus samples, and generally making this hard for the hero.

He also worked for the Umbrella corp., but was leaking info about them to another bio weapon manufacturer... who he apparently also worked for. After his
false death
, he began working for said company, which I believe is called HCf.

Wesker is also a form of Tyrant, which is pretty freaking cool. Though it isn't technically known if Wesker is a true Tyrant, or if the virus Birkin gave him/he took from Birkin (I don't remember which it was) was something completely different. Wesker has superior physical strength, and can move at a rapid pace. He's got crazy red/orange eye beause of it too (which he hides under his sunglasses)

Plus I'm fangirling like stupid over him since he was in RE4 T_T So happy~

Wow...A fellow Legend of Dragoon fan and another Zone of the Enders fan? In one thread?! I'm in heaven! ...Oh, yeah, nominations. Right. Well, here's my three:

1. Viola (Zone of the Enders/Zone of the Enders: the Second Runner) - While I'll admit that Nohman was quite the 3vil one in the Z.O.E. series, he still plays second fiddle in my eyes to Viola, the Queen B...the Queen you-know-what of the solar system. Second only to Nohman himself in skills, Viola was the most dangerous, most skilled pilot known to man. He story was ended prematurely by that whiney wuss Leo in the first game, but she came back in another (even more deadly) form in the second game. All in count, you have to fight this bloodthirsty pilot seven times throughout the series.

2. Albedo (Xenosaga episode I/Xenosaga episode II) - This guy obviously graduated from the prestigious University of Evil Psychopaths. He's practically immortal due to his regenerative powers, obsessed with killing robots that look like eight-year-old girls, and practically takes pleasure in being injured. Seriously. There's a part in the first game where he
kidnaps MOMO, one of the characters that form your party, pretends to be her father, then rips his own freakin' head off, and laughs maniacally as he grows a new one
! This insanity, combined with the fact that he has so many backups for every one of his plans that you probably couldn't assign a letter to all of them, makes Albedo a truly evil Villain.

3. Virgil (Devil May Cry 3) - Another silver-haired badass, Virgil is the stereotypical evil twin brother whose powers far surpass the main characters own. However, this stereotype doesn't take away from the storyline simply because of how well he fulfills his role. His style of fighting is masterful, as well. At one point in a heated swordfight, Dante (your character) withdraws for a moment to fire six shots at Virgil from his two handguns. Virgil doesn't dodge aside with his lightning reflexes, but instead, whirls his katana in a vortex, sucking the bullets into the spinning path of the blade, and proceeds in a very cool cutscene to fire them back at Dante with his sword.

My nominees are all shown in their glory in the attachments below, in left to right order: Viola, Albedo, Virgil. Have fun.

1. Doctor Ivo Robotnik. :D

This guy was the first majortime villain that I can remember. He is the epitome of evil, I mean just look at his mousetache! anyway, he is a typical evil genius, building contraption after bigger-contraption, (most of them seeming to involve either a spiked ball or giant mallet!)

2. The 8th Evil pig. (tombi!)

The head honcho of the evil pigs, this guy goes down in one. But a more evil-wannabe character I have never met, you have to give him 10/10 for trying :D

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNND

3: Darth Vader (some random starwars game)

Does this need any explanation? :naughty: *que Imperial march* the badass of all badasses.

Ten bucks* says either Albedo or Sephiroth win the competition. Another ten* says that even if the prevailing character isn't Albedo or Sephiroth, his/her hair color will invariably be silver.

Any takers? :catgirl:

*Please note that Neko will not fulfill this bet if Neko loses, because Neko lacks the funds to do so! :animeswea

^ You're on.

Liquid Snake
One does not simply walk into Shadow Moses.

My money's on Liquid Snake (Metal Gear Solid series). Right at the start of the game, you know you're gonna have a hard time with this fella once you find out that
he's planning to take on a couple of jets with a helicopter. He's hell-bent on proving that he's the better twin, that he's more skilled than his supposedly superior brother, Solid. Even after "dying" in Metal Gear Solid, he somehow managed to live through Ocelot's arm transplant.
He should be an FF final boss; the guy simply refuses to die.

EDIT:
Oh? I don't see a Sephiroth nomination. How odd.
^Could this mean that we've actually found a forum that understands just how overrated Sepheroth is?

Finally, eh?
*gasp* I'm a bit surprised, actually XD; He'll probably be mentioned eventually... or not?
I think he shouldn't be included simply because he's so overrated that he'll suck up votes XD;;;;

I would have mentioned the Turks, but since they are a group I figured maybe they wouldn't count ^^;

And Squee for Liquid Snake XD

Though I didn't notice it until Neko mentioned something... most of the villains mentioned so far do have silver/white hair O_o creepy.
Nomination for sephiroth!!!

A) he has silver hair :D
2) some random reason why he's cool.
D) it'll annoy bloodseeker :naughty:

heh heh heh
This vote, along with the one for Ivo Robotnik, should be counted as invalid. Neither one of them state the name of the game!

(Hopes LD doesn't come back)

You have not noticed that you have mae three nominations already, You'll either have to remove it or change one of your previous ones. You also forgot to put what game he is from as well as with Robotnik.
