Art Messing With Paint

I've finally broke down and set to trying to figure out the only program on my camputer that can make banners. I don't think I'm that good yet, considering the time and that this is my first attempt but, I plan to get better. Well here's my first ever banner.

Please don't critzie me by going easy on me because its my first try. I want to cold hard truth. What do I need to change? Do you like? Does the text look good? And any other things that you feel like pointing out. Oh and tell me if the image doesn't show up.

The text blends together partly because of the dark blue behind it and partly because of the font itself. The text also pixelates the clouds behind it. Try saving the image as a .PNG next time.

The words really don't match up with the facial expressions of the person. A more bubbly, dreamlike expression would be more appropriate.

The face is in a bad spot. A hundred or so pixel movement left or right would give this a less beginner feel.

Make good use of paints zoom function and fill in the white border to the right of the person with the appropriate blues.

Nowhere near perfect, but a good first try. 5/10

[COLOR=Red][FONT=Comic Sans MS]I personally like it. I'll admit, as said by Morpheus, the words don't exactly match up to the person's expression, but otherwise, I think you did a pretty good job. I'd give it, out of 10, a 6.[/FONT][/COLOR]
