The Reincarnated

Kronos looked at the fallen gods they had chained up. Egyptian, Norse, Greek. Every god was caught, defeated, and bound. The rule of the gods has ended and the reign of the Titans had begun again and this time it would never end. Kill them, cut their heads off? The rest of the Titans moved in.

A sudden gut wrenching fear fills her heart as she sits up quickly, covered by a cold sweat. Looking around, it seems like daylight to her, her gaze easily piercing the mind numbing darkness. Something rustles to her left, catching her attention. Unconciously she whips out her hand, grabbing onto a soft, furry body. Squeezing the vermin until it breaks, she drops it and stands. The walls around her seem to be made of wood, and a quick inspection reveals a doorway in front of her. She walks to it, and upon pushing it open, her eyes are assaulted by sudden daylight. Grunting and shielding her eyes from the blinding light, she chances a look around. "Sand...? Where am I?" Her red hair sways in the almost non-existant breeze, and she quickly braids it. Tying it with a piece of ribbon the was tied around her wrist, she looks around again, spotting a camel drive. She hesitates for a moment, shakes her head, and walks around the back of the shed she woke up in. Her eyes widen in wonder as she takes in the Great Pyramids, and she stares until she has to blink.

Kristen looked out over the ocean, trying to think about how she had gotten there.

"This is crazy. All my life I've hated the ocean, why am I here, and how the hell did I get here?" She clenched her fist as small waves started to beat the sand away. A few seconds later, a fear started to over come her heart. She began to cry as she stood up.

"Why? Why me? I don't want to be here." She begins walking along the beach, nothing but sand all around her. She wiped away a few tears and kept walking, walking to somewhere that was pulling her. She did decide that when she found out who had brought her here, she would beat the living crap outa them until they begged her to stop.

Dagon stared at the camel driver who had just laughed at him. His eyes suddenly flashed an evil red as the camel driver suddenly fell over onto the sand. The whole caravan stopped as people rushed over to him. Dagon fell to the ground, his head pounded, he felt tired.
"He's dead" One of the drivers went to grab a shovel. "We should bury him here. Dagon looked up and saw a weird blue orblike thing come out of the dead man. It floated over to him. "Get away from me"
All of the other drivers looked at him. "Who is that?"
"I don't know"
Dagon shivered as the orb entered his body, he felt his strength coming back, but he could faintly hear the man's voice inside his head before it faded away.
"Are you okay?"
Dagon looked up at a man standing over him. "I don't think so"
"Here let me get you to the nearest temple. The priest there can heal you"
"Temple?"
"The Temple of Oceanus, Titan of the rivers"
Somthing inside Dagon told him not to go there. "No I think I will be alright. Just take me to the nearest city"

Arron slowly made his way out of the tomb, When he found an opening the light was so very bright, but he didn't need to sheild his eyes, strangely. He made his way out, and looked up behind him. A massive pyramid towered over him. "Holy mother of Anubis!" He nearly stumbled backwards. Takeing in the surrounding he quickly realized that the pyramid was far from lonely, many others stood in the area. "Ah, the burial ground. So the valley of kings is that way, and the temple should be that way." He said and begain walking. "Wait..." Arron stopped, and begain to look around slowly. "Hello?" suddenly he saw what he was looking for, a woman walking toward him. "Uh...Do I know you? Cause something about you is really familiar."

"You seem familiar; too...What's your name?" Looking him up and down, she takes in his attire and physique. "I feel like I should be bowing to you, or something," she says flippantly, mockingly sweeping her arm to her chest and bowing the slightest bit. ?But, then again, I bow to no one." She extends her hand and introduces herself. "My name's Christa Jhade." Mentally she racks her mind for any fleeting memories of previous encounters she might have had with him.

He shakes her hand, and she crosses her arms over her chest, putting her weight on one leg. "So what're you doing out here, you don't exactly seem like the type to randomly walk out of tombs...Not that I mind, or anything, it's not everyday a lordly man waltzes out of nowhere and recognizes me."

Dagon looked out across the desert. The strom had stopped finally. He saw two people at what looked like a cementery of some sort. He forced his camel over and brought another with him. When he reached them he hopped off his camel. "So what are you doing out here?"

"I wish I knew"

Dagon looked Christa up and down. "And you are?"

"Christa"

Dagon extend his hand. "Dagon, but they just call me Rick" He pointed at the caravan that was slowly moving away. "Your welcome to join us. I get off at the nearest city so I can find out what the hell happened to me" He handed the reigns over to Arron who climbed on. Dagon mounted then held his hand out to Christa. "My lady?"

She grins. "How do you make the connection between Dagon and Rick?" Adjusting her weight on the camel, she sits side-saddle. She brushes off her dress and hesitates a moment before resting her hands on his sides. "I suppose I have nowhere else to be. What?s the nearest city? Cairo? And what do you mean 'so I can find out what the hell happened to me'? What'd you do?"

'Is it just me, or do random men just follow me around? Again, not that I'm complaining, or anything, it just seems a little weird. When we get to the city I should remember to pray to whatever god governs fate.'

Arron started for a moment...then stopped the camel. "Why am I driving...and did you just call me a lordly man?" He asked looking down at his rather normal outfit, ok, not so normal, but not lordly. "I seem to have a strange conection to weird stuff." he said, and then got the camel moving again...

Dagon smiled. "It is the nickname that my new friends gave me. And to answer your second question. I woke up out here by myself and I don't remeber a thing. Another thing that I need to find out is that this guy pissed my off and I envisiond him dead and he died. So I need to find out what happened so it doesn't happen agian" He looked over his shoulder at Christa. "Your really cute. What is someone like you doing out here?" He looked over at Arron then back at Christa. "You two aren't together are you?"

She blinks slowly, a red blush spreading across her face, matching her face and eyes. "I'm not that cute, you know... I'll keep in mind not to piss you off, then. I'm quite fond of breathing. No, we just met, we're not entirley sure why we're here, either..." Answering all of his questions in order, she turns to Arron and grins. "And yes, I did. You reek of nobility." She looks around them, bored with her surroundings. A wicked thought occurs to her, and she realizes how she can liven up her day. Leaning forward, she rests her head on his shoulder, a quiet sigh escaping her lips.

'I can't think of any better way to find out if Arron thinks I'm as cute as Dagon thinks I am. Not to mention that this is fun for me.' A smirl pulls at the corners of her lips as this thought occurs to her.

Kristen looked from the beach, then twards the desert inland. In the distance she saw three cammels with people on them.

"Oh, wow. This is great. They can help me, and they are going in the direction that I need to go!" He smiled and wiped the tears from her eyes.

"Hey! Please, can you help me? Please!" She began running twards them as the turned and looked at her.

Dagon looked out and saw a girl running towards them. "Looks like we have more company"

The girl stopped, breathing heavily. "Name's Kristen. Can you help me? Your going tohe way I need to go"

Dagon nodded. "Sure you can come. Name's Dagon and the lovely lady behind me is Christa. That is Arron. We all met about an hour ago" He looked over at Arron. "Looks like she's riding with you" The ground sudden;y started to shake as three monstrous worm like creatures came out of the ground. "Dune worms"

Arron looked at him. 'How do you know what they are?"

"The people I was with told me about them and other creatures of the desert. Usually they don't attack and their weak spot is right below the third scale" He looked up at one of the worms as another came up behind them. "Shit I mean crap" He clenched his fist. "I need a weapon" An Egyptain sickle appeared in each of his hands. "What the?...Oh well there is one for each of us" Dagon jumped off and ran to one of the worms.

"Hey, lets rock then." Arron jumped off the camel, and ran at the closest worm.

"Alright big fat and ugly..." The worm lungged at him, but he did a quick side flip, holdin one had toward the ground to steady himself, and ran down the worms side. "One...two...three." He stopped and cut a hard jab in a soft part of the worms skin, the creature writhed and twisted away. "Yep, third scale works for me," he said, then looked at Dagon, "You mind?" The other man tossed one of the sickles. "Alright then!" Arron turned to face the worm, and saw that it was charging at him full speed. "Oh shit!" He jumped up, easily clearing the worm. and jammed the sickle into the worms back. It stuck, and the worm went wilde. Lifting up off the ground it started bucking...or what seemed like bucking. Arron held on as tight as he could. Slightly sitting on the worm, He began to yell, and out came a series of eagle like cries.

Standing on the worm he yanked the sickle out and lept of the side, cutting in varrious places on the way down. He watched the worm, but with it moving so much he couldn't see the weak point.

"Arg! Stop moving!" Suddenly his left eye exploded in fire and light. shot out and scorched a hole strait through the worm. Arron began to scream in shock, but only bird calls came out. Finally came to himself and the fire extinguished. he stood stairing at the worms scortched body...when it suddenly healed up, sealing back together. "whoa!" Arron jumped away as the worm turned quickly at him.

Dagon rolled out of the way as the worm entered the ground where he just stood. The ground beneath him stsrted to shake. He rolled and held out his last sickle catching one of the worms scales as it came up. The force wrenched his arm out of socket and sent him spiraling to the ground. He roared in agony and crouched to the ground. He looked up as the worm came at him. He felt emotions rise inside of him. His eyes turned red and a black aura surrounded him. He looked directly at the worm.

The worm went flying back then began convulsing. It started coughing up blood and insides. Ribs and other bones started poking out. A brown ord came out of the mouth and into him. He passed out as he heard the worm's shriek in his head and saw another coming for him.

Sitting on the camel's back, her mouth hangs open in absolute surprise as the men fight off the worms. "Dagon," she whispers as he hits the ground, shocking her into motion. With a leap off of the back of the animal, she pulls a scythe out of nowhere. Running to and straddling his prone body, she holds the scythe defensively in front of her. The worm nears, and a bead of sweat runs down the side of her face as the adrenaline flows through her veins.

Her heart rate increases, her pupils dilate, and time seems to slow down, allowing her to make careful dodges and attacks. The worm lunges for her, and a swift thrust stabs the thing, but to no avail. Waiting for it to turn around and attack again, dark clouds gather in the sky above her. A sudden wind stirs up the sand around the battlefield, obscuring their vision. Tearing the ribbon keeping her braid in place, her hair whips around her body like some demonic being.

A blue bolt of lightening strikes the worm, a stark contrast to the light sand. The thunder shakes the ground immediately afterwards, throwing her to the ground. Cursing, she stands again, groping around for Dagon. She feels the ground rumble as the worm returns to the offensive, and she panics, striking out randomly. But for once, Lady Luck is on her side, and the worm squeals in pain as the blade of her scythe stabs its eye. It flees from her, pulling her weapon out of her hand.

Dagon awoke to find Christa kneeling over him. "Oww" He undid his shirt and felt his shoulder which was bleeding. "So the critter did get me" He looked up into Christa's eyes. "I take it you were watching my back" Christa sat back on the ground, her hair flowing with the wind. Dagon looked at her. "Thank you" Christa smiled and pushed the hair out of her face. "Your welc...."

Dagon kissed her on the lips then stood up helping her to her feet. He watched as evryone else killed off their own worm. He helped her back onto the camel then mounted in front of her. He waited for the others to mount as well. "Is everyone okay" They all nodded as they started riding again. Dagon felt his shoulder and found the wound smaller. He thought to himself. "What the hell is happening"

She blinks and wraps her arms around his waist, another blush spreading across her pale features. Resting the side of her face against his shoulder, a grins pulls at her lips as she thinks of his kiss.

"We should really hurry up and get to the city. It's not going to stay light out for much longer." She looks at Arron and bites her lip, her mind suddenly in turmoil. 'I feel like I'm being pulled to Arron, but Dagon...Dagon kissed me! What am I supposed to do?' Sighing, she leans back and puts her hands on her knees, staring into the sky as the murky clouds evaporate.

"What's with the weather? First it's all hot and sunny, and during the fight, it got all stormy. What's going on?" She looks around at her companions. "Does anyone else think something really weird is going on here? Or am I just losing my mind?"

Arron laughed, "I would say you were lossing your mind, but I just shot fire from my eye...so I doubt you're lossing your mind." He looked around. "This is all realy strange, any way, I guess its off to the city then." Arron looked off in the direction they were going, then he scanned the horizon, a strange looking building sat way off, snug in a mountain, "Hey whats that?" he asked and pointed toward the building,
"Uh, that is the desert."
Arron looked again, "No, what is that building, there in the mountain face."
Dagon stared at him, "There isn't a mountain for three days in that direction."

Arron turned around, blinked a few times, and then looked back. desert stretched out befor him. "Wait, I saw it, a building, strait that way." he pointed. He closed his eyes, and opened them again...at first just sand, but then the hole world seemed to rush at him, and he could see the building and the mountain. He turned, slowly, he could see Egypt, all the way to the red sea, He could accually see the ships floating in the waves. "What in the world?" He closed his eyes again and his vision was normal, "Ok, now I really need therapy."

Kristen giggled as she looked up at the sky. She sighed as it started to downpour.

"Oh, this is just great.! First, I wake up on a beach next to the desert, and now, it rains when I have no other pair of cloaths." She raised her hands as to sheild her eyes from the rain as a small force feild thing surrounded her, Arron, Christa, and Dagon. She watched as rain fell, and suddenly stopped before reaching them.

"Ok, I didn't do it. At least I don't think I did." She slowly turned to the trident that had appeared as she was fighting the worm that went straight for her.

"Wether you did it or not, Its good to get out of the rain." Arron said as he turned a little twards her.

"Huh, oh right. Well, lets hope thats not all I do, flame boy." She smiled as she turned back to the trident.'Water, huh? This may get a little intresting.' she thaught as they began to continue on.

Dagon watched Arron out of the corner of his eye who was still looking where he said he saw the building. Too many werid things were happening so what could be the harm in looking. He stopped the camel. "Alright Arron show us were you saw this building" Arron nodded then turned his camel away, leading them in the direction in which he saw it.

She closes her eyes and leans her head forward again, her forehead resting against Dagon's shoulder blade.

"You know, if we can't even see the damn building, I really don't think we're going to make it there today on friggin' camels."

Wrapping her arms around his waist again, she attempts to retain some form of consciousness in the face of extreme boredom. Her hair flows in the breeze ever so slightly, looking like a bright red flame. She sighs and opens her eyes as she addresses Arron.

"Do you even know where we're going?" She questions irritably. "Or are we just going to walk blindly into what could quite possibly be some sort of evil cult's hideaway?"

"Now now. Just because your cute does not mean that you can be rude and mean. He could be one of those extremly sensitive guys and you might have hurt his feelings. I know if you said that to me I would cry" Dagon smiled as he turned around. "I'm going to have to punish you for that" He gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Besides I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing" They stopped as Arron dismounted. "It was right here. I see it then it disappears" Dagon looked around then began concentrating on the spot Arron was looking at. He cleared his mind and concentrated harder. A invisble blow hit him in the hest and knocked him to the ground. "Oww. There is something defiantly here"

Rolling her eyes, she jumps off the camel and grabs Dagon's hand, pulling him into a standing position. "Who says I'm being mean and rude just because I'm cute and think I can get away with it? I know I can get away with it, you guys aren't about to do anything about it. So cry all you want, it doesn't bother me any. Same goes for him."

Walking over to Arron's side, a smile lurks on her face as she hits in the side, pushing him a step or two to the right. "So, you see anything yet, Bird-Boy?" Blatantly mocking him, she crosses her arms and puts her weight on one leg. "Or are we sleeping outside tonight?"

Suddenly bursting into anger, "You can sleep out side tonight, I will not be addressed in that manner!" Arron turn to the spot. "What the hell...this is gay stupid building. Where the hell are you!?" he yelled...to his suprise a door apeared...and then a wall, and a building. "Uh...I guess you're right there." He stept up to the door and opened it...An old bald Egyptian stood in front of him. "My lord, you have arrived...not in the mannor I had expected, but it is indeed you."

Arron looked around, "There is not mountain here...whats going on, this is the building I saw."

"It is, it is...you'd be supprised how easy it is to hide a building and move it and all manor of other things. But If you'll step inside I will make you all comfortable and give you a feast. And I assure you sir when you leave you will have your mountain."

Arron srugged, "Very well. I guess we go inside." He followed the man with out looking back at the others. The building was made of marble, and much gold and silver and onyx was used as well. "This is amazing." Arron looked around.

"Well of course my lord, it was built to your exact specifications. It is never dark inside, unless one would sleep. It is never to hot, nor to cold. Never to big or to small, never to quite or loud. It is rather an amazing thing you had us build, it is the perfict place for any one to live for any period of time."

Arron looked at the old man, "I told you to build this?"

The old man laughed, "Aye, yourself and Anubius," the old man pointed toward Daggon.
"Hey Daggon, you and I designed this pla...did you just say Anubius?"

"Yes lord I did."...
