Ozzfest 2005

Anyone going? What bands are you excited about? Which bands do you think shouldn't even be on the damn tour? Bask in your excitement for Ozzfest 2005 right here!

As for me, I'm super stoked for every band on the tour besides maybe one or two, but highest on the list for me is In Flames. I've been a HUGE fan for a long time and I'll finally get to see them live! Iron Maiden, Arch Enemy, and As I Lay Dying are pretty high on my list as well.

Band I'm [U]not[/U] super excited to see: Rob Zombie.

Just not a big fan of the Zombie. I'll bet he puts on a killer live show, though!

Band that I think shouldn't even be on the damn tour: Velvet Revolver.

[I]Velvet Revolver[/I]? WHAT was Sharon Osbourne thinking? I mean, Slash is in the band and all, but that alone doesn't make them Ozzfest material.

[SIZE=1]Not sure if I'm going as of yet, but if I do end up going I'd probably be most excited to see As I Lay Dying. I havn't seen them live yet and I'm sure it'll be awesome. I agree on the point of Velvet Revolver. I just don't like the band, whether they're Ozzfest material or not. Their songs get on my nerves. I really don't care if jesus played guitar in the band, I still wouldn't go to a show featuring them lol.[/SIZE]

I've never gotten to see any of these guys unfortunately. I really enjoy Rob Zombie's work, although I suppose it gets kind of tiring after awhile (I'm sure it's not just me, but a lot of it sounds very similar). I too have heard he's amazing live from several people, though... sometimes you're surprised by who turns out great live and who doesn't lol. I know I am.

the only band on this tour that I've seen before is As I Lay Dying. Although it might be interesting to see them in a differrent (much larger) setting, I really wouldn't go out of my way... However, Mastodon and In Flames would prove interesting, as well as Iron Maiden.

:laugh: Sorry, but if Jesus was in the damn band, I'd go see them no matter how much they sucked!
