Engel
Warning!: This RPG will have graphic scenes, though not in the starting post here. You have been warned. From rape to dismemberment. Silent Hill: Dust in the Wind A silent California town. Not much, couple of groceries, a movie theatre, Pete's-bowl-a-rama, a couple of bars, and a hospital. The name of the town? South Ashfield. South Ashfield, California. Who wouldn't want to move there? Got cool wind in your face, Nice sunny, if not too sunny, atmosphere, the people are kind and nice, and it's an overall good community. Dispite the kind neighbours, you might not want to stay after you hear what I'm about to tell you. That town, was where a great battle took place. I know many people are skeptical when I tell them this. It took place between Samael, and Metatron. Metatron was looking for power, and Samael had it. Naturally, the cataclysm that followed was an eternal stain upon the dust that still whips around that...place. Long after the spirits had supposedly died down, in 1923, a building contractor had sought out this godforsaken place. not knowing the history. No one really did. They were too dead to tell it. So, naturally, greed does as greed is. That man, William Ashfield, had set up, quite frankly, a nesting ground for Hell. Years later, it was renamed Silent Hill. None of the inhabitants noticed anything for the longest while. It looked like the bleak hope of those long gone had begun to shine a little clearer. Until...Harry Mason, a 36 year old writer, he used to come here often with his wife, seven years ago just after the horrible fire occurred in the town harry and his wife find a child laying on the side of the road exiting from silent hill, they decide to keep the baby and name it Cheryl, a couple of years after that Harry's wife suffers a strange disease and passes away, now harry was left alone with Cheryl, he raised Cheryl better then most people would treat their own flesh and blood. Years later, he went there with the 7 year old Cheryl. They loved the town dearly, but they...would grow to hate it. When Harry and Cheryl came to Silent Hill, all communications were cut. Harry had made a crash landing to avoid a person in the middle of the road. When he woke, Cheryl was gone. and snow was falling. Where was Cheryl? Harry didn't know. He had to look. No matter what. He ended up nearly dead, and in the end, killing a god, Samael. HIs Cheryl...she had been possessed. He had no choice, but to kill her. He had mourned her. As e did, so started the hellish saga. Silent Hill would end up claiming more and more lives. Years later, after four separate events, in which some came out okay, and some were...gruesome, we come to this tale- no, chronicle, of Silent Hill. For the sake of what has happened, I shall call this forecoming event, Silent Hill: Dust in the Wind. A tribute to those that had succumbed, and those that have triumphed. --- "Silent Hill, ey? I GUESS so. Sounds too quiet, but okay. I'll catch a plane to Cali tonight. Yeah yeah, whatever." Alex laughed into the phone. His friend had wanted him to come up to California for a vacation with him. He never stopped his talking about it. Alex finally succumbed to it, and began to pack his things. iPod with his Kansas, Incubus, Green Day, Slipknot, and various others on it, several clothing items, a few things, and that was about it. Two hours later, and very aggrivated with the Flight Attendant trying to sell him his ticket to the wrong plane, Alex Rumina, age 16, had finally recived the ticket from the reluctant attendant. eyes jumping around, looking for the security gate. Sighting it, and the flight was about to leave, he quickly went through, just to reach the plane on time. --- Airport food sucks. Period. Alex had to suffer this ordeal, but just stuck with it, not hardly eating. The plane would be landing in an hour or so, and he would be at the California International Airport. Or CIA, interestingly enough. A thought about running around on the plane, screaming that the CIA was coming for a hostile take over, looking for terrorists came and past. After his life, Alex was still able to laugh. Lucky Alex. The plane made a safe decent, into the airport, where he soon was headed for Silent Hill, along with several others that would be staying in the same hotel as him. And would suffer the same ordeal. Though, none knew each other, they'd get real close, real fast. Or die, real fast. --- Alright. Been a long time since I did an RPG. Figured, "Better get back in the swing." So, in accordance to my Silent Hill experience (All four games.) I have decided to make the next installment, "Dust in the Wind." I, however, think we should skip the chitchat, and go straight to the sign up. --- Name: Simple. Nothing too complicated. First and last, please. Age: 13+ Gender: Appearance: Picture, description, or a mix of both. Detailed, please. Starting Weapon: Here's where you have to be inventive. Your first weapon of many. No guns please, and nothing overpowerful. Like Henry, from "The Room", had a steel pipe. I will allow one type of knives: Swiss Army Knives. Personality: Is your guy/gal a maniac? Socially frustrated? Kind? How do they act, specifially in the face of danger and fear. Worst Fears: This is going to be fun for me. *Evil Laugh*. Everyone in Silent Hill faces their worst fears at some point. Like Harry, having to kill his own daughter. What. Are. You. Afraid. Of. Character Snippit: Just a snippit of your writing prowess at this character. --- Now, welcome to the Ashfield Heights Hotel. Please enjoy your stay in Silent Hill.
Skye
Almost done. And Hollow, ask that in Music, Movies, and Tv. Name: Kat Aurora Dennis (Alley Kat) Age: 14 Gender: Female Appearance: 5?6?, 145 lbs, with thick, wavy hair in every shade of brown and gold, tinged with red. Kat?s eyes are slanted dramatically and are grey with charcoal black rims, Asian shaped. Kat has the build of an athlete, with tanned skin, toned muscles, and a rounded form. She has the unconscious gracefulness of a young woman, though her style totally kills that thought. She wears things from ripped up jeans and an overlarge T-shirt to mini-minis and tube tops. She has a huge variety of clothes, in all colors, though she has a lot of white and black in her closet. Starting Weapon: A thick, heavy chain. Personality: Athletic and friendly, Kat has never once failed to make friends. She has a friend everywhere she has ever gone, and no one has managed to hate her yet. Not overly friendly, and not overly nerdy, Kat could be categorized as ?Popular Type 2?, or the girl who?s friends with everyone. She is very smart and can hold intelligent conversation on any subject. She loves to sing, but isn?t very good at it, and she loves sports of any kind. Worst Fears: Being alone. Kat is literally afraid to go anywhere by herself. She always has the sneaking suspicion she is being followed, and sometimes, she is right. Once or twice she?ll do it, but not for long periods. This is why she and her mother have their rooms connected. Character Snippet: The soccer ball shot down mid-field, followed closely by Wildcats center-fielder, Kat Dennis. The girl?s long, wavy hair was pulled back in a ponytail, but a few pieces plastered themselves to her face as she raced down the field. A flash of purple and gold warned of the approaching Hurricane, and she put on a burst of speed before kicking the ball to a teammate. Kat slowed to a walk to breathe, and then shot off after the girl with the ball. ?Maggie, pass!? The red-head passed the ball and Kat shot it into the goal. The crowd cheered loudly and half-time was called. The girls went to the bench to break. Waiting there for Kat was Angelique, her foster-mother. THe woman had a strained look on her face. "Katerina, may I talk with you?" Her thick Portuguese accent was familiar to Kat. The girl frowned, but nodded. She and the woman walked a little ways off. "Kat, we may have to cut you out of the rest of the game. Your father is in the hospital and we need to go, fast." Kat's face became stony. "Them again?" Angelique nodded quietly. Kat nodded. Trotting back over to her team, she said in an airy tone, "Hey, coach, my father is in the hospital. My mother and I need to go. I'm sorry I have to leave, but it's really important." Her coach waved her off sadly, and the two women headed for the car. The drive was swift, and the two didn't stay outside the hospital for long. Once inside, kat let out a breath of relief. M'kays, anything you need me to change, just tell me.
Lafleur
Name: Mays "Pillows" Cream Age: 17 Gender: Male Appearance: Pillows Starting Weapon: Empty fire extinguisher, the nozzle is bent and the fire supressent is inside under great pressure. Explosive hazard. Personality: Desipite Pillows' appearance, he's a fairly level headed, calm, intellegent individual. Usually he says he looks the way he does because he likes to sneak up on people, mentally. Nontheless, he can be a tad depressing, with a fairly bleak outlook on life that may have somthing to do with his life-long misfortune. Worst Fears: Clowns. Ya, I know. Who could be afraid of clowns, those loveable idiots who entertain the young and depress the old? Pillows, that's who. Ever since an incredibly young age, Pillows has been absolutly terrified of them, what with the face paint and the wigs and damn floppy shoes. Terrifying. Snippet: It was hot. It was crowded. The last flight had lost Pillows' other bag, the one with most of his clothes. And Pillows' was in an overall terrible mood. All he wanted to do was get to his terminal, get on the plane, and ship off to Sweden, where his freezing new abode was waiting, a place where he could get away from this damnable Californian heat... Pillows', large luggage bag in toe, shoved himself through a particularily thick throng of people, for which he recived many insults and exclamations, all of which Pillows' took no notice. He saw why this crowed had been so thick. The terminal, HIS terminal of all terminals, was blocked off, two large men blocking the entrence. "We apologise for the inconvenience," said a plump, older man wearing a security uniform, "there has been a terrible accident with your schedueled flight." At this, the crowed burst into angry roars, some asking for details, one person breaking out in tears, others asking when the next plane was going to arrive. "Settle, settle," the old man said, doing his best to raise his weakining voice over the ceaseless din, "for your convienence, a bus is waiting to shuttle you to a hotel, free of charge, and you will be notified when your plane arrives." With that, the man turned away from the shocked audience of 15-20 shocked people, some quelled others demanding answers, and one gasping road-scholar who goes by the name of Pillows. This is going to be one hell of a week. OOC: Erm, I like the idea and all, but I have, more or less, NO knowledge of Silent Hill whatsoever... Here's hoping it won't matter drastically!
Retribution
Name: Marcus Nown Age: 19 Gender: Male Appearance: [link] Marcus stands at 5?11?, is athletic, and weighs in at 160 lbs. Most of the time, you can catch him wearing black cargo pants, and a t-shirt with insightful quotes or funny images. His eyes are deep gray, with a black outline to his iris. Marcus lets his hair grow to about the middle of his neck, at which point he keeps it trimmed. Starting Weapon: Fork(s) Personality: Marcus is a very logical, but kind-hearted man. He approaches problems with planned out strategy, keeping a level head in difficult situations. His personality naturally anchors other people down, keeping them in touch with reality. He tries to be courageous in the face of danger by putting other?s safety before his own. However, if he feels he is in mortal danger, he will cast logic to the wind, doing whatever he can to preserve his own life for another day more. Worst Fears: Marcus is most afraid of death, and also dreads facing things alone. He?s a natural team player, and feels more secure when with a group of well-trusted friends. Character Snippit: ?Marcus? Marcus? You there, baby?? Her voice was soft, softer than the dim lights of the small, cozy room. She was a slender lady, and lay on her side on the leather couch, calling for her boyfriend. To her answer, there was the sound of liquid being poured, then footsteps following. Marcus emerged from the hallway, carrying two margaritas in his hand, and took a seat on a leather recliner. He set the glasses of alcohol on the table. ?Would you like a drink?? He smiled his warm, relaxing smile he always gave people. She, on the other hand, cut to the chase. ?No thanks honey. C?mere? please?? She caressed her own leg, then gazed upon Marcus with lustful eyes. Marcus felt taken aback, and wanted to talk to her. Not sex for once. Just talking, like people who actually cared about each other. ?I guess you don?t want to hear about what I was working on in my study?? He had felt sorry for putting his work in front of his girlfriend, but the guilt had quickly buried itself. ?In a minute? but I need you right now.? Seeing that Marcus would not come to her, she sat up, then stood, and took a sip from the margarita glass. ?So how about it?? She set the glass down, then walked towards the sitting down Marcus with a seductive swagger of her hips. Immediately, she sat down on his knee, and leaned in to whisper in his ear. ?Make me feel special?? ?No.? Her brows furrowed, she sat upright once more. Cold reality gave her a firm slap in the face. Marcus looked apologetic, but stood by his decision mutely. ?What do you mean ?no??? Her attitude was clearly apparent in the tone of her voice. She seemed agitated, tapping her foot on the carpet, her hand on her hips, waiting impatiently for a response. ?I just want to slow things down, you know? I think we?re moving too fast and if we conti--? ?Look, hon. If you don?t want to go all the way, I?ll call you, okay?? ?Fine. Goodbye.? He rose to walk her to the door, but no sooner had he risen, she was slamming the door on him. ?Fine. Goodbye?? he repeated to the door. After staring at the grain for a few minutes, sizing up his emotions inside, he concluded he felt glad he was rid of her. He wanted someone who was less shallow, less physical. ?I don?t even want to know your name anymore.? He turned away from the door, and walked back to his study.
Engel
Name: Alexander Rumina. (Goes by Alex, or Rum.) Age: 15. Gender: Male. Appearance: Click Here. Starting Weapon: A broken gun. The gun was from his adopted fahter's days on the police force. Alex has tampered with it to make it unable to fire. Personality: Most of the time, Alex is quiet, reserved, and cold, just like his eyes would leave you to believe. However, when he knows the people that he's around, he can be quite talkative and funny. The unusually quiet nature hides his high intelligence. Alex's memory sometimes claws through, thought most of of it is repressed in a sense. This memory might be what has caused his onset of silence, among many others that can cleary come to mind at time. Worst Fear: Alex has a fear of insects and corpses. Together, they are his worst nightmare, and something that he loves to avoid all together. Character Snippit: "Off to 3rd peroid, c'mon!" "...Okay." Alex didn't increase his pace at all. He didn't know them, besides what he saw of them in classes. His very nature was to be distrustful of those he didn't know too well. Taking the books from his locker, and closing the narrow box of metal, he looked to the floor as he walked. A hand clasped on his shoulder. A familiar grip, that turned him around to a smiling face. "Hey there, Rum." It was his friend, Richard Gracehart. Most just called him Gracie, a name he wasn't too fond of. "Hey." Even though Alex never usually talked to anyone but Rich and a few others, he was abnormally quiet today. "Okay, you ain't gonna fool me. What's goin' on?" Richard was a good person, and able to pick up on what was bothering people. Espcially Alex. "...Memories, I guess." Alex truely didn't know. At the same time, they could be far and distant, but vivid and real. Of silen. He knew there was more of the word "Silen" but, his memory wouldn't go farther. His adopted father, James, was being chased, by a gruesome monster that looked like it had a trangular head....Pyramid Head... He snapped out of the repressed memory. "You still there, Rum?" Rich asked, putting his hand back on Alex's shoulder. "Erm...yeah...3rd peroid. C'mon, we better go." And Alex started down the hall. OOC: James, and Pyramid Head are refrences to Silent Hill.
Epsilon
Name: Syris Smith. Age: 16. Gender: Female. Appearance: Please see image, and basic description listed. - Click here. Weight. 95.0 pounds. Height. 5" ft. 3' inches. Eye Color. Green Grey. Hair Color. Black w/ grey tint. - Syris is usually covered by her large coat. Only buttons coat to the fourth button, revealing her stomach. And three, thin, black, belts can be seen laced when closed. Starting Weapon: Stylus Pen. - A thin, sleek, simple office pen, that has three inter changeable tips. Click once; pencil, click twice; pen. And three times and the pen's tip reverts to the standard green touch pen, this tip is often used when working with touch pads, tablets or screens. Syris's stylus pen is white and silver. On the side it reads her last name, written in curves. However the black ink used seems to be faded and chipped. On the opposite end of the pen is a small flash light. Personality: Syris has a strict and military like personality. Focused her studies in journalism and photography. She likes to work alone and does her work diligently. Although she has a slightly standoffish air around her during school hours, Syris appears and acts extremely kind hearted during work. She doesn't speak much but when she does it's words of encouragement. Lacking in some social departments, she smiles a lot. And often times can be seen looking at an old photo she keeps in her pocket. However, Syris has never shown the actual photo to another person. Apparently she likes keeping things private. Come night time Syris acts as though she's a dog with it's tail behind it's legs. Worst Fears: The Dark. This could be easily guessed is her worst fear. Keeping a flash light on a pen that never heaves her side. However, rather then being of afraid of the entity known as 'darkness,' Syris seems to be scared of not knowing what she cannot see. Especially when it is dark in large open areas or when she is alone. She'll often sit in corner with her flash light and hum to her self. Character Snippit: He opened the door, still with the same smirk he had had earlier that day. But now, he was mocking her. Syris went past him, hoping into the taxi. Folding her arms she stared straight ahead to the seat in front of her. Aaron leaned over kissing her on the cheek, while putting his hand on her shoulder. Trying to reassure her. "Are you sure you don't want to stay?" he said, "I'd be here with you." She smiled faintly. "It's dark and I have work tomorrow." "What do you to for work anyways?" "Nothing of interest, Aaron, they're waiting for you." He's mouth stopped short, Aaron knew she was right. Shaking his head he took a step back waving he closed the door and walked away. The taxi started, sending small trails of grey fume through the air. Syris listen as the window went up and the door locks clicked. Turning she leaned against the side. Moving one hand into her pocket she took out an old photo. Staring at the image she took out her pen, clicking on the flash light end. The taxi was nearing her home. The taxi stopped, and the doors unlocked. Getting out Syris waved good by to the driver. Taking a few steps forwards she waited for him to pull out of the drive and past the gates. Stuffing the photo back into her coat pocket she quickly moved the flash light around. Scanning the area... Nothing. Syris continued walking up the drive way home.
