New Theme

[font=franklin gothic medium]I originally had another image of him in the sidebar, but I didn't want to repeat him. It just didn't look right.

Instead I used a drawn scene from Tokyo. I like the idea of a character and a scene, rather than a repeat of a character. And you don't get a scene more appropriate than Tokyo. ~_^

I might try to finalize some of these graphics later today, if time allows. I have some work ahead of me, dealing with non-graphic things on this site. So that'll probably take up the bulk of my time.[/font]

I love the Tokyo scene on the sidebar, though I only just realized there was a face on the screen. o_0 And I still can't believe that's Naruto. I stare and I stare, but I keep thinking [B]"Cloud!"[/B] Now I'm going to devote my life (or at least a couple of days) to finding that pic.

I think the animation of the Jukebox is great. Before, me and Ouroboros used to use it all of the time, but then I kind of [I]forgot[/I] it was there. But now...with the sound waves emanating from the black dot...It just [I][B]screams[/B][/I] click me.

[B]P.S.[/B] I luuuuv the Reply and Edit buttons. The blue light filling up is great, I even sometimes just move the mouse on and off to watch the light come on. Oh, and the bottom relpy button is wonderful. The arrows that appear are snazzy.[/SIZE][/color][/FONT]

[SIZE=1]That new Jukebox button is nothing short of excellent, the little waves are just too cool, though if James says he has something better on the way then there's something better on the way. One other little fix I might suggest James is for PMs, just to make the "[b]Forward[/b]" button the same as the "[b]Reply[/b]" so that they match properly. Other than that I await with held breath to see what new tweaks, fixes and graphics you'll add.[/SIZE]

What'd I'd like to see is the defualt reply button to look that way and perhaps when you bring the cursor over it the arrows in would flash. Other than that I find everything to be well done and it all to be an enjoyable change.[/FONT][/COLOR]

I had a similar idea. I didn't really like how it was gray and no arrows, then you mouse over it and it's suddenly blue with arrows... Maybe the gray should fade into blue and the arrows would fade in one-by-one. Just a suggestion.

Teacher! I have a suggestion: Can you change the Quick Reply icon too? It looks kinda off beside the snazzy Reply with Quote icon. Also, I think [IMG]http://www.otakuboards.com/images/liquid/buttons/lastpost.gif[/IMG]'s text color is too near to black; perhaps a different shade would work?

[SIZE=1]That's exactly what I was thinking, only instead of flashing the arrows would build up one after another going from just a single to all five, like the Reply with Quote button but going from left to right. The animation just seems a bit quick to me, but hell that's just my opinion. [/SIZE]

[color=#9933ff]You know, the first time I saw the skin change, I said, "AHHH OMG!!!!" And then I said, "Wait... when the hell did we switch to v8?!?!?!?!?!?" I looked for an announcement actually, didn't see one, and was sort of relieved that we were still on v7 and the skin had just changed.

I really do like it a lot. The best part, aside from having some sexy anime character at the top (^_~), is that you didn't repeat him on the side bar, like in the original v7 Skin. That was cool.

I did notice that you fixed the jukebox button (because, yes, before, it was extremely annoying with the waves going out every two seconds). The reply button just isn't my style, but there's nothing wrong with that.

I'm very happy with the liquid skin changes. As many people have said, it [i]is[/i] amazing what a difference a few changes can make. Thanks James. ^_^ [/color]
