Ok here is... the infuriating story.

I wake up at 5. I wait foir my friend to come over and my mom. They get here and my mom takes me to the loverly mall. Me and my friend buy some 12 guage earings and some 10s for my next step in stretching my ears. Now get this... we get two kittens while at the mall... free! I named mine Collin and my friend named hers Sneaux (the shoe comercial you know "i call um snukes and they tottaly blah blah blah well its a darn good shoe"

Anyways i finally come home around... say 11: 30. dad had gotten off of work and picked me up at her house. I get inside the house and what do i see... MY DAMN DOG. he should have been in his cage in MY room. Turns out he ATE his way out and rearranged the livingroom and left crap on the carpet (literally). I mean seriously he took trash from one end of the room to the other... chewed on the tv control... and left crap in three different places.

Now that pissed me off. But what really made me mad is he had the guts to even TOUCH my stuffed whale (orca... you know free willy crap) I got this stuffed toy when i was young when that damn whale was in newport oregon... it had jut got there and not all of the stuff was finished. I bought one of the many cute stuffed toys. now i dont have an attachment to the stuffie because of when i got it buty because of all the things it an I have gone through... divorce, flood, fire, yoyoing back and forth between parents. It has survived so much and so have I... It is special... if he had even removed one puff of fluff the dog would be dead right now.

I have had several animals in my life and everything has gone teribly wrong. My first dog a chihuahua mysteriously vanished. My next dog a fox/chihuahua crossbreed hybrid thing.... it died young. My dog bryan... mom got rid of without even asking me. I then realized i loved cats more... but both my mom and dad are allergic. So when mom lived in the country I got two kittens... both however were albino and were sick so eventually died. My lizard died due to the fact that it was sold too young in its life by the pet store... And me and my sister got a dog named chewy who became my dads dog and makes sure I know this each day. I dont like dogs anymore except this one chow mix. So for the longest time iv had this thing for cats but i cant have one because dad is allergic... But i wanted a pet that was MINE not dads or the FAMILYS.... i anted a me pet... but all i COULD get was a dog so i decided to try it... if i had known i was going to purchase the retard i wouldnt have done it... I remember i even had a chinchilla once but I myself am allrgic to them.... I cant have the pets i like because either i or my dad is allergic to them... and the only pet i can have i hate..

I seriously have hated dogs for a long time... damnnit.

Have YOU ever gotten an anime that you learned wasnt right and just wanted to kill or throttle or give away?

By the way: Please ignore all missing letters and typo. This was taken dirrectly from my blog and i typed it up when i was seriously angry. And the whole several missspelling parts... its just part of how i feel.

Edit: I know im complainy but i had not gone 19 hours without sleep OR food in a long time so this whole experiance made me mad. I know the whole puppies will be puppies and all but Oh well. I just want to know if anyone else has had an experiance with pets that didnt make them very happy...

You keep your dog in a cage in your room?

And you're mad at it when it gets out?

Sorry to hear about the mess and the stuffed animal, but frankly, I've got more sympathy for the living creature than the toy.

I call it a cage but its merely half my room with some child gates as walls. He isnt quite trained yet and is a chewer... He seriously wants to eat everything in sight. We were only keeping him contained untill he gets neutered next month and weened out of the whole chewing thing. But i see your point.

However if you knew this dog you might actually understand why im angry.

wow, I understand what you mean, I USED TO have a pet pit bull, and it was just a puppy, so it was hyper. It would go anywhere in the house and do its business  So we kept him on a leash in the kitchen, over some newspapers, but he still always managed to use the "bathroom" off of the paper. :animeangr When I tried to play with him, he BIT ME! He put his freakin tooth in my arm. :animenose After that, my parents sold him to someone else. :animesigh

I'm more of a huskey or german shepard type of person anyways. :animeswea

We've had a variety of pets come and go through our household, and I've hated every single one of them, except for this one white budgie that my friend gave away to me, which is the only pet I've ever had to my name. I swear, that budgie was so cool; it would sit on my shoulder so trustingly, it would always come back to me on my command after flying away, I mean, the damn bird was so disciplined we didn't even keep it in a cage. It's good to have a pet that you feel you have a connection with rather than just having one for show, because there really is no point otherwise, which is why I reckon most people are fond of dogs, seeing as they're affectionate beings and all.

About the other pets. We've had thee finches, god knows how many fish, six budgies, three rabbits, two guinea pigs, three hamsters (one of which gave birth to nine more), and most recently, two chickens, of which one has survived to this day. All of them have met an untimely death -- most notably the hamsters; they resorted to cannibalism because they hadn't been fed for over a week. I hate/ed them all. They stank, and they had to be cleaned every so often that it becomes a daily ritual. Seriously, I can understand why people would get cats and dogs, but when it comes to animals that you'd keep in a cage all day, I really don't see the point.

I have two parakeets in the guest room. They came out of my desire to have a cockateil (sp?), but they were too expensive, so I got a parakeet and never really named her. We just call her Blue now, since she's... blue. I treated her very well, but she was always skittish.

My mom decides to buy Blue a friend, which most resources tell you NOT to do. She got a green parakeet named Kiwi and stuck her in the cage before I came home from school and without my permission. Kiwi and Blue get really attached to eachother and ignore everyone else, and they're completely untrainable. So now they're just something we have to take care of, we've considered selling them a few times, but no one seems interested. :-\
Hey Frankie, you should read "The Black Cat" by Edgar Allen Poe. It's the ultimate "I've grown to hate my pet" story.
Wow... I had never read that one before. That really is a story of "I hate my pet" to the extreame. At least I controlled myself. I doubt this retarded dog would drive me insane far enough to kill him or anyone else... I just threaten when im angry... I said in my first post that if he had removed any fluff from my whale he would be dead right now.

Honestly that isnt true. I would have found someone else to have him. Other people willing to handle such a psychotic dog. If push came to shove (like him eating a door and a wall like my sisters past dog) i would have taken him to the pound and let them figure out what to do with him.

That is one very interesting story. The black cat.

Honestly, Frankie, maybe if you're having so much trouble with pets, you should stop taking them altogether.

I believe it would be the best solution for both you and the pet. People can live without animals, and especially if they lack the interest to take care of them or cannot provide sufficient environment for them (dogs need space, not half of a room), they should never take pets in the first place.

With the fluffiness and cuteness and adorableness of the pet comes a great responsibility, you know.
(dogs need space, not half of a room).
Beleive me this dog has space. When we are gone the half of my room is his sleeping area. He has the entire back yard too but not when we are gone due to barking and a bunch of idiot neighbors.

He is always loose and free to run throughthe back yard and house when we are here to keep an eye on him. When we are NOT here however he goes into his section of my room which is his sleeping area and he knows this.

I did not put this thread up for advice on how to raise my animals. I put it up here to hear or see if anyone else has ever gotten a pet thats been more hell that help.

I take good care of my dog. I feed it, i keep its water fresh and clean, i play with him and groom him. I am even training him on the leash. I take good care of my pets. I have never been the cause of their death or dissaperance. Honestly i dont really hate my dog i hate wht he did. I was angry now im over it.

Just like parents dont need other people to tell them how to raise their kids orto not have kids if they cant take care of them i dont need people to tell me I shouldnt get a pet if i cant take care of it (When i can) and i dont need people telling me how to train or raise it either. Im not angry anymore or anything like that. I just wanted to hear other peoples stories about pets that turned out not right or destructive animals that eat walls and doors like my sisters previous dog.

I'm sorry if I offended you, Frankie... :( I didn't mean to imply that you cannot take care of your dogs, I was trying to say that if you have so much trouble with pets, maybe you shouldn't take them anymore - even if you can take care of them.

But you are wrong in one thing: some parents DO need advice on how to raise their kids. Some people just don't know how to take care of others - including animals.

I'm currently studying social care, so my future profession will probably involve quite a lot of giving advice to parents and caretakers.

Hmm your right. I was kind of takingthat from the parents point of view actually. Most parents i know that recieve advice get all "i dont need you to tell ME how to raise MY kids" But there atre those who do.

I wasnt quite offended it was just odd.

One of the reasons i want a pet most ofthe time is because I only have one friend in this entire town and she, unlike mysewlf, has a life. I dont have friends to go hang out with like she does so im home most of the time. I get quite lonely and have always wanted animals for friendship and something to do with all my extra time. School will be starting the 6th for me so there is that to consider i guess. Dogs are ok to a point and fun but iv always had a love for cats. Iv never been able to have one live in the house though which results in them getting hit by cars or getting sick. Of coursethat was when i wasnt even 12 and I lived on a huge farm so even the eagles and hawks took some.

I seriously should just go lonely than risk having this dog fall prey to my curse... As I will now start calling it.

Eagles eat cats?!? 8/ This is the first time I've heard about that!

Oh, and to have a take on the subject, the cat I grew up with and I have this love/hate relationship. She knows me (she lives with my sister now) and she can come to my lap and purr, but suddenly she might scratch me or bite my petting hand or something. Then I know I should steer away from her... ;P

But still, despite the various scratches - and even one scar I still have - I haven't ended up hating her. I hope I still get to see her before she dies, as she's quite old now...

Yeah. My mother, father, two sisters and myself lived on a 12 acre farm. Several hawks and some eagles used to pikc off our growing number of wild and tame barn/ farm cats. While i knew they went for the kittens when they took one of the larger ones i was quite shocked. Apparently they get to the point where food is food. *Shrug* They would get our chihuahuas too.

You have my deepest sympathy.....

I understand how you get a mammel that seems to believe that it's only purpose in life is to make yours a living hell. But maybe the self-confinement thing went way too far. I believe that animals are given to owners who have the ability to care for them. But hey I have 6 words for you:

"It would suck to be you."
