AWOL
I suppose that you can put in xhtml. Check out the html tutorials in the search engines.
Desbreko
[color=#4B0082]Yeah, you can. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript all work on myOtaku pages, and you use the code just like you would on any other page. Basically, nearly everywhere that you can enter text, you can use HTML tags, CSS declarations, JavaScript, etc. Though you don't have access to the <[i][/i]head> section of the web page, so any code that should go there has to just be put in your introduction. It's not technically correct, but it works.[/color]
SilentSecurity
I'm a little slow :animeswea . I understand HTML coding (well enough that is) now how do I add it to my OB signature. It says that HTML is off. Is it off in my preferences (couldn't find it there) or is it off for the whole board?
Petie
[font=Verdana][color=blue]You can't use HTML in your OB signature (or most places on OB for that matter). You'll just have to stick with the normal vB code to format your posts (or just use the WYSIWYG editor when posting). What is it you want to add anyway? You already seem to have formatted text and an image in your signature now.[/color][/font]
SilentSecurity
A link. Oh well it doesn't really matter now.
Petie
[font=Verdana][color=blue]You can still add a link if you want to. Just use the following code:[/color][/font] [font=Verdana][color=blue][/color][/font] [font=Verdana][color=blue][*url=whatever the URL to the site is]The text for the link[/url][/color][/font] [font=Verdana][color=blue][/color][/font] [font=Verdana][color=blue]Just remember to remove the *[/color][/font]
Desbreko
[color=#4B0082]Yeah, you can actually do quite a bit with just vB tags. To see the full list of tags, with examples, you can check out the [url=http://www.otakuboards.com/misc.php?do=bbcode][u]vB Code List[/u][/url] in the site FAQ.[/color]
