[Redemption]

Reza smiled. " He is a strange person isn't he? Famous too. I wonder if that's gone to his head."

She looked up into the sky, looking at the cloudless vibrant azure sky. It was the most perfect day to start off their adventure. It was good to have such a good omen on their morning of departure. Storm glided happily above the boat.

This was indeed a strange occurence. How many legendary poke`mon were on this boat? Was it just a coincidence that all of them had legendary poke`mon? Wouldn't it have seemed strange that all these poke`mon congrigated to Windsand Village?

Reza had never thought about it like this before. Yes, it was very strange. But how did legendary poke`mon of other regions get here? There must be an answer. Her grandparents' letter came to her mind instantly. Rain watched Reza as she rummaged around in her backpack for the letter. After taking it out of the bag, Reza opened it and read the contents. Her eyes grew wide as she read it. This explained a lot of things - a lot of things indeed.

A sudden rocking of the boat made Rain and Reza fall backwards into the boat. The sea had become all of the sudden rough. Sailors were calling to one another over the sound of the waves crashing against the boat.

" What's happening?" TJ yelled out from the back of the boat.

" KAGERYN!" one of the sailors yelled. Reza's head whipped up to the sky. Black storm clouds gathered around a small island in the distance. This was the source of the unruly body of water underneath the boat. In the sky was a giant figure of what looked like a skeletal dragon. However, Reza could clearly make out the red gleaming eyes of the legendary Chaos poke`mon as it turns its head towards the small boat, as if sensing the power of the other legendary poke`mon aboard.

Immediately, Reza felt chills down her spines as the great gleaming red eyes scanned over her. She felt her heart skip a beat. So this is what fear felt like - the fear that Kageryn is able to spread through the hearts of people all over Kaijin.

A great wave rose before them and crashed onto the boat, washing all manners of people and poke`mon into the rought sea. No one could have foreseen it. The force of the wave had knocked Reza clean off her feet. The dark waters swirled around her as she heard Storm's cries for Reza above the surface. Her body felt numb as darkness enveloped her vision.[/color][/size]

OOC: Everyone has been knocked off the boat by the wave. Wash up on the island near Rodscale Village. If you are to capture any poke`mon during your journeys, make sure you post how you caught it. In my next post I'm going to be catching a Magikarp. From now on until the second gym, we'll be splitting up into groups. I will be sending everyone a PM with whose in who's group. Saio woke up coughing, sea water spraying from his mouth. The ship... where was it???? In the distance, Saio could hear people, but they were stuggling. "Pichachu!!!! Where are you???"

"PIKA PIKA!!!!!!" it screamed, panicing. Saio swam torwards it, it wass drowining. "PIchachu!! I'll save you!!" Saio fought with the current, and Pchachu went under. "NO!!!!" Saio swam under the water, and grasped his pokemon. Returning to the surface, he could see an island...... or was it???

"Come on. into your pokeball... i can protect you better... " Picacxhu returns, and Saio swims with all his power.

He makes it, and summons pichachu again. "O......kay?????" He ssks, before pasing out on the sand.


OOC: i'm not sure what all is going on right now, but could some one come find me????

Rorohiko had no idea what was happening. One minute, he was talking with Alex, and the next minute the sailors were panicking. They were shouting a name, Kageryn. Some were pointing. Rorohiko and Alex looked in the indicated direction, and saw... something. Rorohiko had no idea what he was looking at, but he had a feeling that he was looking at Kageryn.

A huge wave crashed into the boat, and Rorohiko was flung overboard. So was Alex, he saw. The two of them couldn't do anything but try to keep their heads above the water as they were swept away from the boat. Eventually, they washed up on the shore of the island that was their destination. "Well, we seem to be alive," Rorohiko remarked.

"Fortunatly," Alex replied. "That one certainly came out of nowhere."

At that point, someone else washed ashor by the two of them. It was the girl, Andy. Rorohiko and Alex pulled her out of the water. "Are you all right?" Alex asked.

"I'm fine," Andy replied. "Where's Articuno?"

Right on cue, Articuno swooped down from the sky and landed next to Andy. "Well, that answers that question," Alex remarked. "I hope everyone else is all right."

Rorohiko looked out at the boat. It appeared to be upright. "If they're still on the boat, they're probably fine," he said. "If they were swept overboard, then who knows? Nothing we can do about it either way. I would not recommend going back out there. We should make our way to Rodscale. Any survivors are likely to head in that direction, too, so if the others are still alive, we'll probably find them."

"Makes sense to me," Andy replied. "Man! What hit us?"

"No idea," Rorohiko told her. "The sailors were shouting the name 'Kageryn', probably refering to that dragon thing. Unfortunatly, I've never heard of Kageryn before. That name familiar to either of you?"

"I've heard the name," Alex said, "but I don't know much. There's some old legends about Kageryn, but that's all I know. No real information."

"Well, I'll just need to ask someone else then," Rorohiko replied. "Can't do it now, though." He looked back out at the boat, which was still moving, continuing to Rodscale. "Hopefully my bag's still on the boat. I secured it pretty tightly, just in case. Let's get moving. We should be able to reach Rodscale quickly, and then we can check out the boat. Let's go."

"Wait," Andy said. "Who's that?" She indicated someone who was lying face-down in the sand. There was a Pikachu next to him.

"I don't know," Rorohiko replied. "Alex?"

Alex shook his head. "I don't recognize him. Is he all right?"

Rorohiko walked over to him, watching the Pikachu just in case it did anything. After inspecting the person, Rorohiko stood up. "He's alive. Unconcious, but alive. The Pikachu's probably his."

"What should we do with him?" Andy asked.

"Well, we can't leave him here." Rorohiko grabbed a Pokeball and released Absol. With Alex's help, he lifted the uncoucious boy onto Absol's back. "Make sure he doesn't fall off," Rorohiko instructed Absol. The group started towards Rodscale, with the unconcious boy's Pikachu following close behind.

[COLOR=Red]Yubi held her digital in her hand as she saw a poke`mon completely tip the ship over. She clicked away, unsure of whether or not her pictures were going to be visible. Taking in a deep breath before she lost her balance, Yubi did the least impressive dive she had ever done or seen. She spun around underneath the water, letting her body become dead weight. She watched the surface of the water stream above her. A beautiful sight, but she wasn't about to be able to stay down here forever. She knew she wouldn't be able to. Even though it was a wonderful thought. Both a lover of water and fire, guess she was indecisive about it.

The from out of nowhere, something slammed into her. She didn't gasp for she would have lost what little breath she had. The thing though, darted at her, colliding with Yubi's shoulder. Kicking her feet, she struck out with her hands to make her way through the bone-chilling water that was becoming warmer to her as she got used to it. She broke the surface of the water, breathing heavily. She'd have wagered that she had stayed down for about three minutes. She felt something scrap against her leg, but ignored it.

"Moltres!" She called for him. She couldn't see his flames anywhere. "Moltre-" a waved washed over her, causing her to gulp down the unpleasent sea water. She coughed and spluttered for a period. It was taking her a while to regain herself.

"MOL-TRES!" She screamed into the air, people looked around to see who was shouting so loudly and cruelly.

"C-AWH!" Was her awaited answer, typically saying 'I'm here, keep your shirt on!' She gave her Moltres a look that burned. He then crowed at her again, tossing his head, beating his wings twice to emphasize. Yubi understood what he had said, 'It's not my fault you can't fly.' She scoffed at him, but patted his head all the same. Yubi looked at the others and swam over to Jo and Sakura.

"You guys ok?" Both were treading water much like her.

"If it weren't so deep I'd be just a little bit better, but other than that, I'm fine." Sakura said calmly.

"I'll second that. Do you know what capsized the ship though?" Jo asked kindly.

"Uh...yeah, I've seen it, but I have [B]no[/B] clue as to what it is. I think if we get to the town I can develop my pictures and see if any came out all right."[/COLOR]

Jo watched Yuusei fly around her head with Latias, smiling at this side of him. It was rare to see him have so much fun, or at least admit he was having it. But Sakura's point worried her. What [i]did[/i] happen to them that night almost ten years ago? Was Yuusei safe with her, or was the threat still out there somewhere? It unnerved her, but she had little time to think about it.

All of a sudden, the shouts of the men filled her head, and her attention was directed upwards towards the thing causing the uproar. It was a skeleton. But not any skeleton, it was [i]the[/i] skeleton. [b]"Kageryn.."[/b] Jo mumbled, immediately recognizing the demonic creature.

[b]"Yuusei-"[/b] she began, tossing her bag to her pokemon, but was cut off by a sudden jerk of the boat that sent her sprawling into the water. Though it had been calm just a few minutes before, now the water was rough and dark, and she struggled to reach the surface. Finally she managed to get her head above water, and took a deep breath, coughing up a bit of the water she had swallowed.

She looked around calmly, hoping to see the others, but didn't spot anyone. She saw the boat behind her fighting with the waves to stay afloat. And then, she heard the comforting cry of her best friend.

[i]"Jo! Are you alright?! I have your bag! Swim towards me! I can see the shore,"[/i] he told her as he flew into sight. Obediantly, she began to swim towards him. Unfortunately, the force of the waves kept her from swimming as fast as she normally could, and she'd often hesitate to take in a few breaths before continuing. Soon, she spotted the red wings of Latias, and knew Sakura was somewhere close.

[b]"Sakura! Sakura, are you there?"[/b] Jo shouted, paddling in place.

[b]"Jo? Over here!"[/b] came the reply, and Jo swam towards the voice, and there she was. [b]"Jo! Are you and Yuusei alright?"[/b]

[b]"We're fine. Did you see anyone else?"[/b]

[b]"Just you."[/b]

The two floated in silence for a moment, fearing the worst, before Jo assured Sakura that the others were probably fine. And as if on cue, Yubi appeared, Moltres floating above her. [b]"You guys okay?"[/b] she asked immediately.

[b]"If it weren't so deep I'd be just a little bit better, but other than that, I'm fine,"[/b] Sakura sighed, beginning to pick up the pace once more.

[b]"I'll second that,"[/b] Jo sighed, swimming forward. Suddenly, a thought popped into her head. She must not have been the only one to see Kageryn, so why not ask? [b]"Do you know what capsized the ship though?"[/b] she added.

[b]"Uh...yeah, I've seen it, but I have no clue as to what it is. I think if we get to the town I can develop my pictures and see if any came out all right,"[/b] Yubi replied.

[i]'Well she saw it. Who cares if she didn't recognize it; not everyone knows who he is. But that's not important right now. The sooner we get to shore, the better,'[/i] Jo thought to herself, still following Yuusei, Sakura and Yubi right behind her.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

All of the sudden the sky began to get darker. Andy looked up and as she heard the sailors yelling, she hastily jumped up and ran to the other side of the boat to see what was going on. As she turned around the corner she saw it. It was one of the most horrible sights she had ever seen. [COLOR=DarkRed]"What in the world....."[/COLOR] As she said that she felt something hit the boat and stumbled back, flipping over the railing and plunging into the dark, freezing water.

She began sinking deeper until she regained conciousness from the shock and broke the surface of the water. She gulpped a quick breath before a wave pulled her under the water again. In the commotion, she didn't see the boat in the distance so she swam to the closest island. She began and then realised she didn't know where Articuno was. She tried calling but every time she was met with a wave, pulling her farther away from the island.

"I need to get to that island. If I can get there, I can find Articuno. There is no way I am going to die out here in this water." she thought to herself. She finally made it, finding Alex and Rorohiko. They helped her out of the water and Rorohiko asked her [COLOR=Blue]"Are you all right?"[/COLOR] [COLOR=DarkRed]"I'm fine. Where's Articuno?"[/COLOR] She came flying down gently at the sound of her name. [COLOR=Green]"Well, that answers that question."[/COLOR] Alex remarked. [COLOR=Green]"I hope everyone else is all right."[/COLOR]

Andy was soon bored of walking in silence and trailed back to the Pikachu. At least she might be able to play with the Pikachu a little. He looked up at her as she walked by him and got a playful look in his eye. He began to run around her and tried to trip her. She giggled at his feats but when she noticed Alex wasn't up with Rorohiko she stopped. Then she spun around and found him right behind her. She gasped as he began laughing. It wasn't very often she got tricked like that and started blushing.

Rorohiko turned around. [COLOR=Blue]"What are you two doing back there."[/COLOR] Alex stopped laughing long enough to tell him what he did and he chuckled a little, too. Andy began to grow angry at them laughing at her. [COLOR=DarkRed]"Okay, it was funny for a few seconds but shouldn't we get going now?"[/COLOR]

[Kayin Cloud]

[I]"I can feel something coming TJ..."[/I] Was the only thing TJ heard in his mind before the strike. The clouds grew extremely dark andThe sailors were all in disarray, and all of the others were trying to be sure to stay by their own Poke`mon. TJ looked around the ship desperately to find Reza and Storm. He knew that if they capsized Lugia could take care of her, but he had to be sure. Inferno stuck close to TJ as well as Suicune as they started their search on the now sinking ship.

"Reza!" TJ called out in search of his close friend. "Reza!!" He almost lost Inferno and Suicune for the moment, but they soon caught up to him. "Where are y-!?!!" Kageryn had made another strike causing the boat to shift violently. TJ found himself airborne and crashing hard down into the water below. Suicune and Inferno had already hit the water and were in search of TJ. Inferno put an arm over Suicune's back since he wasn't the most agile swimmer.

[I]"TJ!! TJ!!!!"[/I] Suicune called to him mentally but got no response. Inferno pointed to TJ's cap and Suicune swiftly moved to it but didn't find TJ with it. Inferno growled upon seeing the cap with no TJ wearing it. He dove underwater and started his search for TJ with Suicune diving under after. [I]"I hope you know what you are doing my friend....But I see why you wouldn't care...You've known him for years now..."[/I] Inferno merely nodded and pressed onward. Suicune nodded his head and accelerated past Inferno, [I]"Get to the surface my friend...I'll find him!"[/I]

Inferno slowly nodded and reluctantly surfaced only to have Suicune surface not long after with TJ's shirt collar in his muzzle. The two swam toward the nearest shore and lay TJ to rest. Inferno pressed on TJ's chest, trying to get the water from his lungs out. TJ coughed violently and spat water out at his side. "REZA!" He shouted and looked around at his partners. "Suicune....Inferno..." He sighed and smiled at the two. "Thanks you two..." Inferno and Suicune smiled and Inferno returned TJ's cap back to the top of his head. TJ stood to his feet and brushed himself off.

"C'mon guys....I want to find Reza and the others. They had to make it here so we'll have to start searching. The sooner the better..." Inferno nodded and so did Suicune. The three began their search to find the others.

[Redemption]

Reza felt nothing. Everything was dark. Her body was numb to the outside world. The last thing she remembered was swirling in the dark waters of the sea after being washed overboard. Kageryn's mad gleaming eyes suddenly popped into her mind and sh felt her body shiver with fear.

Then, she felt the most curious feeling. Water started to rush pash her at a quickening pace. It was like she was being pulled along by something. Reza knew she was in the sea, deep beneath the surface. Did Storm dive into the water to rescue her? No, that couldn't be in. The body underneath her didn't feel warm, not like Storm's did when they swam together. This was a curious feeling. What was this body beneath her?

Reza's body suddenly realised she needed oxygen. She was still far below the surface, groggy and muddled. Covering her mouth, she tried to call Storm to her with no success. Whoever or whatever was underneath her seemed to have got the idea that she needed air and quickly swam to the surface. They broke it, Reza taking in a huge gulp of air, coughing and spluttering the water out of her lungs. She realised that she was in the shallows of a nearby island. Sliding off the back of what she was on, Reza fumbled her way to the beach, collapsing onto the warm sand.

Darkness once again took her.

Soft nudging awoke Reza. She looked up to find Storm's concerned face looking down at her. Sitting up, Reza looked around. In the shallows just beyond the beach, she saw a Magikarp swimming around in circles.

" Why is a Magikarp there?" Reza asked Storm. Sotmr ruffled his wings a little.
" [i]It seems that it saved you,[/i]" Storm said a little grumpily.
" Jealous are we?" Reza asked, standing up, brushing the sand off her. Storm just gave a big huff. Reza smiled and walked down the beach to the Magikarp who swam up to her.
" Thank you my friend," Reza said to it. It nudged her leg lovingly. She smiled down at it. " Do... do you want to come with me on an adventure?"

It looked up at her and gave a nod. Reza fumbled through her sopping wet backpack to find an empty Poke`ball. She turned to the Magikarp, opening the Poke`ball. With a flash of blinding white light, Magikarp entered the ball and closed the top. There was no struggle of a normal capture. This one was willing to join Reza and Storm.

Smiling, Reza walked back up the beach to Storm who looked mildly surprised at her decision to 'catch' this Magikarp. He looked at Reza as she looked around the beach then towards the forest growth after the sand.
" [i]Why did you catch a Magikarp? Aren't those things worthless poke`mon?[/i]" Storm wondered.
" It saved me Storm. I'm not going to let a poke`mon with that sort of loyalty and companionship slip through my fingers. Plus, he'll evolve into a Gyrados - a poke`mon that I want in my eventual party," Reza explained.
" [i]What are you going to call him? It is a him.[/i]"
" Hmm.... well, if he evolves into a Gyrados.... I'll guess I'll call him Vicious."
" [i]Sounds good to me.[/i]"

With that, Reza and Storm set out to find the others.[/color][/size]

OOC: Awesome... No one had to play me while I was gone. Ok my turn.

[color=seagreen]Rain remembered having a good conversation for the first time in years and suddenly being interupted. Something huge floated in the sky above the island they seemed to float towards. All of the sudden things got dark and she found herself in the water.[/color]

[color=seagreen]She sank quite a ways but was able to swim towards the surface. She felt heavy and she remembered her bag was still on her shoulder. She did not want to drop it so she swam extra hard to keep herself afloat.[/color]

[color=seagreen]She saw some shore after a bit but felt to weak to swim to it. She suddenly felt light as a feather. She saw the outline of her body glow blue and she was lifted from the water. She floated above the water and landed safely up on shore. Suddenly Celebi burst from below the water surface. He never had to worry about breathing.[/color]

[color=seagreen]Rain smiled. Celebi knew when she wanted or didnt want something and she liked the fact that he wasnt always willing to help if the person didnt want it. She smiled and shook herself off.[/color]

[COLOR=SlateGray][FONT=System]OOC: Sorry for not posting the RP for a while, I was a bit busy.

Alexander now walked up to the front with Rorohiko, to let Andy alone with Pikachu. They were walking for a long of in silence. Alexander was thankful and full of regret at the same time. He managed to get away from all of the psychic pokemon. The bad new he was stuck with Rorohiko. He knew that he had to be intierly truthful around him because he could smell a false statement like a hungry dog smelling a steak. To bad for him that he was stuck with Rorohiko, and whats more, although he didn't yet know this, Rorohiko also had a Psychic Pokemon. He looked around his surroundings and then back at the beach that they had washed up on. Where was he, he had spent most of his life at the Magma base in Hoen, he was not familiar with the surrounding islands that made up an island chain of islands Windsand town.
"I'm sorry but were did we wash up, I seemed to have lost my map when we were thrown over board."

"I'm not sure exactly, I'm unfamiliar with this area"

"Hrm- what a bother" Alex turned to Andy.and said in a very annoyed tone "You don't know were we are do you?"[/FONT][/COLOR]

Andy sighed and rolled her eyes but went through her bag. She was glad she grabbed it before she was thrown overboard. After a minute or so she came across it. It was soaked and had began to smudge a little. She looked over it very carefully and frowned. [COLOR=DarkRed]"I don't think it's marked on my map. It is a couple of years old, though."[/COLOR] [COLOR=Green]"Oh great."[/COLOR] Alex groaned. [COLOR=Green]"We're lost."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Blue]"May I see the map for a minute?"[/COLOR] Rorohiko asked her politely. Andy gave him the map and he studied it for a little while. [COLOR=Blue]"We must be somewhere in between Windsand Village and Rodscale Village. We should just head Northwest from here and we should end up close to Rodscale."[/COLOR] [COLOR=Green]"So were basically traveling blind?"[/COLOR] Alex whined. [COLOR=Blue]"Yes, we are."[/COLOR] Rorohiko calmly said, handing Andy the map back. [COLOR=DarkRed]"What about our Poke`gear? Didn't Proffesor Wyatt say they also had a map?"[/COLOR] [COLOR=Green]"That's right!"[/COLOR] Alex replied with a grin. Andy pulled it out and clicked on the map icon. A holographic image of the whole region came up. Andy singled out the Windsand/Rodscale area and found many islands that weren't on her old map.

[COLOR=DarkRed]"Now which island are we on?"[/COLOR] [COLOR=Green]"You have a bird. Maybe you should fly up and check."[/COLOR] Alex said sarcastically. [COLOR=DarkRed]"That's the smartest thing you've said all day, Alex."[/COLOR] Andy replied. She got on Articuno's back and they took off up into the air. [COLOR=DarkRed]"It's beautiful up here isn't it?"[/COLOR] Andy asked Articuno. She cawwed as they went higher. After a few moments she determined which island she believed they were on. It was the largest unnamed one, about 7 miles long, 3 miles wide. She saw many other little islands and plotted a course for them on Articuno's descent.

[COLOR=Green]"So, where are we."[/COLOR] Alex questioned her. [COLOR=DarkRed]"We're right here on this island. We still have another few miles to go before we hit the coast. Then we need to get from one island to the next. Then finally we will reach Rodscale."[/COLOR] Rorohiko looked over it and smiled. [COLOR=Blue]"At least I have one person I can count on to do a little of the work."[/COLOR] Alex scowled at the comment, but was glad that they knew where they were. He didn't like the sound of walking that far either. [COLOR=Blue]"We'd better get going. It will be dark soon."[/COLOR] Rorohiko said.

[Redemption]

The feeling of warm sand squished underneath her feet made Reza feel slightly warmer. The sun had come out from behind the now non-existent clouds. All the clouds had disappeared, just as Kageryn had. Reza didn't realise how long she must have been in the water.... or was this Kageryn's calling card? Just appear out of nowhere, wipe something out, and then disappear as quickly as it came. The thought of the huge poke`mon caused Reza to have shivers down her spine.

Storm was soaring above her happily, looking out for any sign of the others she had sailed with. Reza was really getting worried. Where were they? Could it have been possible that most of them had drowned? No... it couldn't be. Their legendary poke`mon wouldn't permit it. She kept to the beach, walking towards... well, she didn't know where she was going. Hopefully it was in the direction of Rodscale.

" [i]Reza... I've found something...[/i]" Storm said. Reza didn't like his tone of voice.
" What is it Storm?"
" [i]Nearby, there is a smoke stack in the sky. Check your map... I have a bad feeling that it's Rodscale.[/i]"

Reza pulled out the map of Kaijin and, as Storm said, Rodscale was very nearby. Storm fluttered down beside Reza and looked at the map.
" [i]Yes... it's Rodscale...[/i]"
" That means...."
" [i]That Kageryn destroyed Rodscale.[/i]"

She gasped. That thing was so huge... it was no wonder that the little village didn't stand any chance against it.
" Storm... is Kageryn that powerful?"
" [i]You should know Reza... how powerful that poke`mon is... it took your parents and their friends to defeat it before...[/i]"

It took a while for Reza to come back to her senses. Kageryn was back... and as powerful as ever. He had begun his wave of destruction once again, starting with Rodscale Village. She looked up and saw the smoke stack rising into the air.

" I hope no one was hurt..."
" [i]Don't hope too much Reza...[/i]"

Hoping onto Storm's back, he took her to the now ruined village. They landed on the beach and Reza dismounted. The carnage was almost too much for her to bear. Most of the houses were smouldering. People were running around, helping the injured, putting out fires. Storm looked apprehensively at these people.

" [i]Reza... I think I'd better get in my poke`ball. I may not be welcome here.[/i]"
" Good idea."

Reza unclipped Storm's poke`ball, a silver and white one, from her belt and summoned him back. She clipped the poke`ball back onto her belt, Storm now alongside Vicious, her newest member of her team. Dodging various bits of debris, Reza made her way into the centre square where there were a few Machoke and Donphan pushing bits of debris into a pile and a two or three Wartortles heling put out the first. She looked around desperately, trying to see if she knew any of these people. There was one face in the crowd of people that looked familar.

" Rain!"

Rain swirled around at the call of her name. The obvious absence of Celebi made Reza realise that the legendary poke`mon knew they weren't welcome here. Was is because of them that Kageryn was called out? Reza walked up to her quickly, a smile on her face.

" Good to see you!" Reza said, " I was starting to get worried that none of the others had survived."
Rain gave Reza a small smile. " Lucky for..."
Reza knew she was going to say something but left it.
" Anyway," Reza said, " we should look for the others. It'd be nice to find someone else."

Rain nodded and the two walked down to the beach where Reza and Storm landed before. Looking around, they saw a familar figure approach them from their right hand side.[/color][/size]

As they approached the coast of the island, Rorohiko could tell that something was wrong. The others hadn't noticed, but Rorohiko did. He'd been keeping half an eye on the ship they'd been on, and he noticed when it stopped. "Something's happpening," he said.

"What?" Andy asked. "What's happening?"

Rorohiko pointed at the ship. "The ship's stopped, and there's no sign of any damage to it. Which begs the question of why it stopped. There must be something happening in its course, and it was heading..." he traced its path in the air, "...directly towards Rodscale."

They all looked in the direction of Rodscale. In the distance, they could see a pillar of smoke. "Is that Rodscale?" Alex wondered.

Rorohiko turned to face Andy. "Let's find out. Andy, go up on Articuno and take a look."

As Andy and Articuno rose into the sky, Alex turned to Rorohiko. "Do you think it's related to Kageryn's appearence earlier?"

Rorohiko nodded. "Has to be. Think about it. We're on a boat with several trainers, all fom the same village, who happen to have legendary Pokemon. This Kageryn shows up right before we're swept into the water by a huge wave, and now it looks like Rodscale, our destination, has been attacked."

"It's certainly quite a coincidence, I'll give you that. But does it have to be anything more that that?"

"I don't believe in coincidences," Rorohiko said. "Especially nt ones on this scale. No, something's going on, and we need to fine out what. But before that, we need to come up with a solution to our immediate problem. I recommend continuing for Rodscale. Even though it's probably been destroyed, the others are likely to turn up there, and I'd bet that the ship will stop there, if only to search for survivors. In fact..." he took another look at the ship. "Yes, I do believe it's starting forward again."

Just then, Articuno landed and Andy hopped to the ground. "It's Rodscale, all right," she said.

Rorohiko nodded. "I thought so. All right, here's what I think we should do. We sould still head for Rodscale, as the others are still likely to head there. The ship seems to be heading there, as well. And the best way to cross the water is on that boat. But first we need to get to it. Andy, could Articuno carry our unconcious friend and his Pikachu?"

"I think so," Andy replied, "but no more then that."

"That's good enough. Articuno can fly you, the uncouncious boy, and his Pikachu to the ship. Alex, you and I will have to reach it a different way."

"How?" Alex asked. "I don't have any flying Pokemon, and all you have is an Absol."

Rorohiko smiled. "Your information is outdated." He released Ekratrell.

"What's that?" Andy asked.

"A legendary Pokemon I recenty discovered," Rorohiko explained. "Her name is Ekratrel, and she's a Dark/Psychic type. She can get me and Alex to the boat. Now, shall we do this?"

Both Andy and Alex nodded, though Rorohiko noticed a brief Heitation on Alex's part. Alex and Rrohiko lifted the unconcious boy onto Articuno as Andy and the Pikachu climbed ontp the legendary bird's back. "Hold onto the boy," Rorohiko instructed Andy. "Make sure he doesn't fall off." Andy nodded, and Articuno took off.

Rorohiko returned his Absol. He looked at Alex. "You ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be," Alex replied. "Let's get this over with."

"All right, then. Ekratrel, do it."

Ekratrel took off across the water, using her psychic powers to keep herself on the surface of the water. She was also using her powers to carry Rorohiko and Alex across the water, towards the ship. Upon reaching the ship, Ekratrel lept off of the water and onto its deck, lifting Rorohiko and Alex onto it as she did so. Rorohiko returned Ekratrel, then located Andy and Articuno, who were already on the ship, along with the unconcious boy and his Pikachu.

Rorohiko looked around. He saw that his bag was indeed still on the ship. He then noticed the looks that the sailors were giving him. "Relax," he said. "We're paying passengers. We got swept overboard by that huge wave. We're just here to finish the ride. Even though Rodscale has apparently been destroyed, we still need to go there."

"I understand," one of the sailors said. "We're still heading there ourselves. We can't just leave without at least checking for survivors."

Rorohiko nodded. "I know. I couldn't make myself leave without checking, either."

As TJ, Inferno and Suicune made their return, they looked up to see smoke in the air. TJ looked ahead with his eyes wide, realizing what target was struck. "No...It can't be...How could it have happened? Such a small town....it stood no chance against a gargantuan like that." TJ clenched his fist tightly as water ran down from his knuckles to the ground. Inferno looked down at TJ and flames erupted from his back, as he could feel TJ's anger. TJ shook his head, "No...no need for us both to be mad, buddy..." He smiled over at Inferno and the flames soon died down.

"[I]We'd best get to town and see if they need help....but...[/I]" Suicune looked at the Poke`ball on TJ's hip. "[I]It would be wise to call me when we leave if you catch my drift...[/I]"

TJ nodded and called Suicune back into his sky/navy blue Poke`ball. "Let's go Inferno." TJ and Inferno ran into the open where the ruins of the Villiage now lay. "This is horrible...I pray everyone survived and will be alright..." TJ took his hat off briefly and replaced it upon his head as if to pay his respects in his own way.

He looked around the villiage to find that most of the fire had been put out and the rest could be handled by the residents. "We should see if any of the others made it alright...." Inferno nodded and they went to look for the other members of their party. After looking around the villiage for a while, they came up finding none of the others. TJ sighed and made his way back to the way they came, having forgotten to call Suicune back out.

They headed back to the beach where they landed and looked around for a while. "Hm?" TJ looked off to his left side to spot two others on the beach standing together, "Is that....Reza.....and Rain?" TJ smiled upon realizing who it was and made his way over, followed by Inferno. "Reza! Rain! Hey!!" TJ called as he waved one of his arms to signal them.

They turned to see who it was approaching and Reza waved one of her arms toward TJ, "Hey, TJ!" she called back.

TJ reached the two and hugged Reza tightly and smiled. "I'm glad to see you two made it..." He let go and sent a smile to Rain. "Are you two okay?"

Rain nodded, "Yeah, for the most part." Reza nodded as well.

"Have you two caught sign of anyone else?" TJ asked. "You two are the only ones from our group that I found so far..." Inferno had laid down at Reza's feet and closed his eyes.

Reza knelt down to pet Inferno's head and looked up to TJ, "No...so far we're the only one's we've seen."

"I hope everyone else is okay..." TJ took a seat in the sand and let his back rest in the beach behind him. He looked up to the sky and let out a quiet sigh. [I]Please let the others be alright....[/I]

Richard rubbed his eyes, awakening afloat in water. He looked around, seeing Ichigo looking at him with a sort of laughing glare. He was all alone, save Rayquaza. He looked around again, and began to tread water slowly, keeping himself afloat before climbing up onto Ichigo's back.

[b]"Gotta find the others..."[/b]

[i]"You're worn out. Took all your willpower just to stay alive after that nasty gash in your forehead."[/i] Richard felt the blood trickle down, and he wiped it away. It stained in his silver-white hair, and he dunked it underwater, trying to wash it away. It came off, if slowly.

[b]"Now, like I said, Ichii, we need to find the others!"[/b] He grumbled, holding onto one of Ichigo's spiked, wing like appendages.

[i]"They're probably over there, at that big firey town. Don't remember Kageryn flying over and blowin' it straight away?[/i]

[b]"Obiviously not."[/b] Richard winkled his nose, and Rayquaza began to speed through the water. He dipped under the water, and then shot up into the sky, soaring gracefully. Richard's hair began to dry out, his clothes following. It felt extremely good, but his heart fell as he saw the flames blow him.

[b]"Aiee...Everyone got blown to bits."[/b] Richard observed plainly. Ichigo nodded, and he looked around, seeing two shapes on the island. He thought they might be Reza and TJ, along with their legendaries. However, he stayed in the air, causciously.[/color][/size]

[color=green]Rain looked around and when Tj appeared she seemd more quiet again. Especially when his Inferno decided to curl up at Reza's Feet. Rain back up a bit and looked up into the sky mindlessly. She saw a small figure in the sky and nodded.[/color]

As the boat slowly approached Rodscale, Andy sat down in one of the seats, Articuno right next to her. [COLOR=DarkRed]"I wonder if everyone's okay?"[/COLOR] Andy murmured to Articuno. [COLOR=DarkRed]"I hope everyone made it."[/COLOR] Articuno cooed softly, enjoying Andy stroking her soft feathers. [COLOR=Green]"I wonder how long this kid is going to stay knocked out?"[/COLOR] Alex said. He released his Pikachu right next to the other one and they looked at each other. A few minutes later they were running around the boat chasing each other and rolling around. The sailors began glancing at them and shaking their heads.

Alex sat down next to Andy. [COLOR=Green]"What stiffs. Can't they just relax and have a good time?"[/COLOR] [COLOR=DarkRed]"After what happened I'm sure their just nervous. Aren't you a little worried about what happened."[/COLOR] [COLOR=Green]"Well yeah, but there's always time for a little amusement, isn't there?"[/COLOR] [COLOR=DarkRed]"Maybe you should call your Pikachu back anyway. Besides, they keep watching us. It makes me nervous."[/COLOR] [COLOR=Green]"Oh all right."[/COLOR] Alex calls Pikachu back in his ball just before he pounced on the other one. [COLOR=Green]"You have to call Articuno back, now."[/COLOR] [COLOR=DarkRed]"Okay. They were watching her anyway."[/COLOR] Andy called Articuno back.

[COLOR=Blue]"We're almost there. Get your stuff ready."[/COLOR] Rorohiko called from the front of the boat. "Your taking the kid." Andy told Alex. [COLOR=Green]"What? You can't dump the kid on me." [/COLOR] [COLOR=DarkRed]"We should wake him up, then."[/COLOR] Andy calls Articuno back out. [COLOR=DarkRed]"Wake him up Articuno."[/COLOR] She lightly sprays him with icy water and he immediately awakens. [COLOR=DarkOrange]"What are you doing to me?"[/COLOR] He stands up, soaking wet, and gives them a cold stare. Alex starts laughing as Andy recalls Articuno again. The kid grabs his Pikachu and starts to dry his shirt off some. [COLOR=DarkRed]"Sorry to wake you like that. By the way, my name is Andy."[/COLOR] [COLOR=DarkOrange]"The name's Saio. How long was I out for?"[/COLOR] [COLOR=Green]"A few hours atleast. You missed alot. Oh, my name is Alex."[/COLOR] Saio nodded and turned to Andy. [COLOR=DarkOrange]"What happened?"[/COLOR] [COLOR=DarkRed]"The main thing is that Rodscale has been destroyed and we need to find our friends."[/COLOR] [COLOR=Blue]"Hey, are you guys comming?"[/COLOR] Rorohiko said. Rorohiko, Andy, Alex, and Saio walked down the ramp onto the dock. Rodscale's port was in pretty good shape, considering the rest of the town. It was damaged, yes, but not outright destroyed like most of the rest of Rodscale. rorohiko looked around, and noticed that there were even a couple ships that could be used even without any repairs.

Much of the ship's crew left the ship and fanned out through the destroyed town, looking for survivors. Andy and Saio went with one pair of sailors, while Rorohiko and Alex accompanied another pair. Rorohiko released Ekratrel from her pokeball, despite the likely reactions of the sailors. Ekratrel's psychic talent would be invaluable for locating survivors.

Ekratrel was able to locate a few people who would otherwise have gone unnoticed. While escorting them back to the port, the group met up with another group heading the same way. One of those sailors seemed upset about something. When he saw Rorohiko, the man's expresion became one of anger. He approached Rorohiko.

"Stand back," Rorohiko told his group. "The man is clearly mad. This might not be pretty."

"You!" The man shouted, pointing at Rorohiko. "This is all your fault!"

Rorohiko had experienced dislike before, but the man's accusation was shocking. "My fault?"

"Yes, your f#^*ing fault! I know who you are! This happened because of you! You and your f&%$ing Absol!"

"Calm down," Rorohiko told the man.

"Calm down? I had family here, you bastard! Don't tell me to calm down!"

Rorohiko now knew what was going on. The man had lost his family, and upon seeing Rorohiko, had blamed him for that loss. The man was clearly irrational right now. "Look, don't do anything rash," Rorohiko said. "Just calm down."

"F%^k you!" the man shouted. He charged Rorohiko, but fortunatly, Rorohiko knew how to defend himself. Before the man knew what hit him, he was on the ground. The man didn't give up, though. He got to his feet, holding a piece of debris in his hand as a weapon. He charged Rorohiko again, with the same result.

"I don't need this," Rorohiko said as the man picked himself up and came at Rorohiko again. "Ekratrel, take care of this."

The man suddenly found himself unable to move. Ekratrel was restraining him with her psychic abilities. "I don't want to fight," Rorohiko told the man. "If you want to hate me, that's your choice, but don't lose control of yourself." He stepped back, and had Ekratrel free the man. "Now," he said, "if you're done with your irrational anger, we should get these people to the ship."

As they left the ship, Andy became sad for all the people. There was so much damage done. They decided to split up and help the sailors look for people. Andy and Saio went with some of them and Rorohiko and Alex went with the others. Andy released Articuno and flew up into the sky to help search from above. They found a few people, trapped under parts of their houses. They weren't hurt to badly, though. Most of them had only suffered from a broken limb or rib.

They headed back to the docks and saw some sailor yelling at Rorohiko.

[COLOR=Purple]"You!"[/COLOR] he shouted, pointing at Rorohiko. [COLOR=Purple]"This is all your fault!"[/COLOR] [COLOR=Blue]"My fault?"[/COLOR] Rorohiko replied, in a shocked tone. [COLOR=Purple]"Yes, your f#^*ing fault! I know who you are! This happened because of you! You and your f&%$ing Absol!"[/COLOR] He yelled[COLOR=Blue]."Calm down. [/COLOR]"Rorohiko told the man. [COLOR=Purple]"Calm down? I had family here, you bastard! The man backed off and sat on the boat, continuously glancing evil looks in Rorohiko's direction. Andy and Saio ran over towards them. [COLOR=DarkOrange]"Wow!"[/COLOR] Saio said. [COLOR=DarkOrange]"I didn't think you could fight like that."[/COLOR] [COLOR=DarkRed]"Me neither."[/COLOR] Andy said. He just nodded and went over to help a sailor with an injured man. [COLOR=Green]"That was nothing. That sailor was weak."[/COLOR] Alex said. [COLOR=DarkRed]"Are you saying you could have stopped him?"[/COLOR] Andy inquired. [COLOR=Green]"Of course I could have. I was about to step in and help him, but he had it under control."[/COLOR] [COLOR=DarkRed]"Okay mister macho. If your so strong then you should be helping people onto the boat."[/COLOR] They all walked over to help people on the boat. When they finished up, Andy relized she was very hungry. [COLOR=DarkRed]"What are we going to eat? All this work has made me hungry."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=SlateGray][FONT=System]"Yeah some food would be nice right about now" Alex's stomach growled " I haven't eaten since last night"

"Why didn't you eat breakfast?" asked Andy who was helping a man with a broken lag cross the bridge to the ship. Andy looked at him wondering why he was not helping transport the people.

"I had a very important, and very long phone call that i needed to take, why is why I had to rush out of my house, I don't even think thatI locked it." Alex sat down on a rock and began to stair at the sky. Rorohiko came up behind him and cleared his throat, Alex looked up.

"There are about 100 people here and more are going to be coming, I thick that you should get off your butt and help the three of us help those who can't get onto teh boat on their own." Rorohiko looked very serious


"Fine I guess that I will help a little" Alex rose to his feet. However he only got about two people boarded and situated on the ship before he was interrupted by a very interesting person.

[COLOR=MediumTurquoise]"YOU THERE"[/COLOR] Rorohiko turned to face the person how shouted.

"Yes?" he responded.

[COLOR=MediumTurquoise]"I am known as Leo, a trainer from the city of Mosdeep and I need-"[/COLOR]

"Why are you here, Mosdeep is in Hoen isn't it?" Rorohiko looked at the boy. His long white hair fell over his eyes, but he could see tears falling sown his face. He wore a blue short sleeved shirt and long black pants.he had a black belt around his wast that held four Pokeballs. " Why are you crying , did you loved a loved one, or was the whole thing just traumatizing for you" Rorohiko was trying to get some answers but he just kepted on crying.

"He must have been a visitor said Saio " visiting relatives, or a tourist maybe"

[COLOR=MediumTurquoise]"No you are wrong, I did lose a loved one, my sister, to that monster" Leo Pointed towards Alexander who was just getting back to the dock." that monster and his team magma thugs killed my dear sister!!!"[/COLOR]
" Alex" Rorohiko turned to Alex who looked shocked.

"Team Magma?" it was Andy turn to looked shocked.,

[COLOR=MediumTurquoise]" I have come for revenge on the one know as Alexander of team magma, from the village of Windsand.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkOrange]" Your crazy, I have never been to Hoen in my life, only to Kento" Alex approached the trainer and looked his usual lazy self.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=MediumTurquoise]" You can't sell me that shit, you killed her and now its your turn to be killed" [/COLOR] Leo reached for one of his Pokeballs and releaseda Gorvyel. The reptile pokemon eyed Alexander with it red eyes. Its leaves on its arms blew in the wind.

[COLOR=DarkOrange][i] Ha a grass pokemon this will be short work fort eh legendary pokemon Groudon and his fire based attacks[/i][/COLOR]

" I don't under stand what is going on all I know is some one is not telling the truth" Rorohiko looked at both of them. [i] Alexander clearly has something hidden about him self that he dose not want to tell, but were dose the truth start, he has been lying ever since we left the town, but did he really kill some one[/i]

Alex reached for his Groudon but Andy stooped him by pulling his hand away from the ball. " Don't us him, he'll just make things worse for every one."
He glared at her and sent out his Pikachu instead.

[COLOR=MediumTurquoise]"After I KO all of your Pokemon I'm coming for you."[/COLOR] Loe looked determined to kill Alex.

Rorohiko, Andy, and Siao moved back to protect the passengers from the battle that was about to get under way.

[COLOR=MediumTurquoise]"Groyvel extreme speed now."[/COLOR] The grass pokemon shoot after Pikechu as fast as a bullet, it was all the mouse could do to doge it.

[COLOR=MediumTurquoise]Again"[/COLOR] screamed Leo Groyvel shoot after Pikachu again.

[COLOR=DarkOrange]"Pikachu double team"[/COLOR] Pikachu got and responder to the order just in time to make groyvel miss and head straight for the injured citizens of Rodscale. Absol, jumped in the way and easily deflected the attack back at the the real target.

"Nice work Absol, you will have to block all the stray attacks from the pokemon OK, " Rorohiko pet his Absol on it's head, as it nodded.

[COLOR=SeaGreen]"Leaf cutter"[/COLOR]
[COLOR=DarkOrange]"Thunder Shock"[/COLOR]

The electric sparks hit the pokemon leaf pokemon but did not stop its charge. However the Pikachus double team caused the attack to miss.

[COLOR=MediumTurquoise]"Follow up with extreme speed, kill the monsters pokemon"[/COLOR]

[i] Its coming at full speed right at it, this attack wound miss.[/i][COLOR=DarkOrange] " Zap Cannon"[/COLOR]" Why use that attack it is pron to miss the target" asked Andy

As spoken the Zap Cannon missed the charging Groyvel but it did stop the charge so that Pikachu would not be hit with that attack at least. the Cannon flew into the remains of a building and blew it to pieces.

As Pikachu approached the pokemon, pokemon it did a front flip over the charging rodent and landed behind it.

" Pikachu turn around[/COLOR][COLOR=MediumTurquoise]" To late Mega Kick.'[/COLOR]

Pikachu was KOed and landed on the dock next to the passengers.

"I did not kill the your sister" Alex fell to his knees and the Groyvel and Leo approached him slowly.

" I hope that your Groudon guides you to hell!!" Leo ordered to attack, however Alex jumped out of the way, but not fast enough and his leg was cut.

"SO you like to playcat and mouse I love that game, go Starmie tackle attack" The starfish pokemon spun and hit Alex in to shest knocking the air out of him. Alex fell to the ground again.

" Finish it Groyvel, leaf cutter" Groyvel came closer and closer.

[i] Oh No I can't doge this one [/i]

"Your fate is sealed" Groyvle jumped into the air and began to come down at full speed towards the helpless Alex on the ground.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[Frankie]

Rain was flaming angry but did not look it. She didnt even look unhappy. She had a slightly bland look on her face. She nodded sielntly when the boy in the air didnt realize he has been spotted and come down. She looked around and walked through the ruins of the town. She searched for others that needed help.

Celebi stayed in its pokeball. He knew it was not wise even IF the people living there didnt mind. He knew how Rain was feeling and did not want to anger her further.

"So much destruction." She said to herself. "This is why I hate pokemon so much... THEY KILL PEOPLE!" She shouted suddenly. After the shouting she stood up straight and ignored the stares. She sighed and continued to look around while she waited for Reza and the others to decide what they were going to do.

Leo's Grovyle leapt at Alex, but never made contact. At Rorohiko's instruction, Ekratrel intervened, stopping Grovyle and sending it flying into Leo. "There will be no killing here," Rorohiko said as he and Ekratrel positioned themselves between Alex and Leo.

"Out of the way," Leo ordered as he and Grovyle picked themselves up off the ground.

"No," Rorohiko replied. "There's been enough death today, and there's no evidence that what you say is true. And even if it is true, killing Alex would make you no different from him."

"That's not true. I don't kill for the sake of killing. He's a criminal!"

"Killing is a crime, no matter what the reason," Rorohiko replied. "Oh, and Team Magmaactually does have reasons for what it does. Don't forget, they believe in their cause. Their intentions are good, thought they're definatly misguided. But that's not important. What they do, they do because it's what they believe is best for the world. Even though they're definatly wrong, they're well-intended. But what kind of justification is revenge? That really is killing just for the sake of killing."

"Shut up!" Leo shouted. "What do you know?"

"More than you. Now, I can tell that your feelings aren't going to be changed. That's fine. But there will be no killing here. If you don't leave now, you'll be removed."

Leo wanted to stay and fight, Rorohiko could tell. But Leo aparently knew that he andhis Pokemon were no match for Ekratrel. "You haven't seen the last of me!" he shouted at Alex. He returned his Pokemon to their Pokeballs and stormed off.

Rorohiko turned to Alex. "I don't know if what that guy claims is true or not," he said, "but I've seen enough of you to know that whatever you may be, you're not heartless. When things calm down a bit, we'll need to discuss this, but for now let's just get all these people to safety. Okay?"

Alex nodded. "Okay."

Rorohiko, Alex, Andy, Saio, and the sailors rsumed loading the survivors onto the ship. There were too many to fit on the one small ship, however, so some of its crew boarded one of the undamaged ships at the port and began preparing it for departure. Anyone who couldn't fit on the first ship was loaded onto the other. Pretty soon, they were all loaded. rorohiko, Alex, Andy, Saio, and some of the sailors wend back into the ruins of Rodscale, making another sweep so as to be sure they hadn't missed anyone.

[i]Ekratrel, see what you can get from Alex's mind,[/i] Rorohiko thought. Ekratrel, who could read his mind with her psychic abilities, picked up this thought. She scanned Alex's mind without him ever knowing she'd done so. She normally stayed out of the minds of others unless they gave her permission, like Rorohiko had done when they'd first met. She respected the privacy of one's thoughts, but sometimes pracical concerns overruled that.

[[i]Nothing in his mind indicates that what Leo claimed is true,[/i]] Ekratrel reported to Rorohiko through telepathic communication. [[i]However, there are signs that there's something he's trying very hard not to think about. I don't know what, though.[/i]]

Rorohiko considered this new information. Sometime soon, he'd have to question Alex, but for now his sole concern was making sure they found every survivor of the destruction of Rodscale. Hopefully, they'd be able to find some of the other trainers from Windsand as well (OOC: hint, hint). There'd be plenty of time to question Alex later.

[Frankie]

Rain wandered through the urbble and came around the remains of a building and noticed Rorohiko. [i]Oh no... well I guess he is ok... [/i]she thought.

She approched, "Your alive."

"As are you." He replied.

"Thats good. So um... Need any help?"

As she asked this a calm sea breeze blew across them and she could hear the waves nearby. She figured even if she didnt like the guy all that much she could help him.

"We're all searching the ruins for survivors right now," Rorohiko told rain. "The ship we were all on is still in good condition. Alex, Andy, and I, along with Saio, another passenger who we found after being washed ashore, were able to rejoin the ship. We and the crew have been combing what's left of Rodscale, looking for survivors."

"Any luck?" Rain asked.

"Plenty. in fact, we're currently making our final sweep. We and the sailors have found quite a few survivors, too many to fit on the one small ship. Fortunatly, there were a couple undamage vessels in the port, and some of the sailors are getting one of them ready for departure. Anyone there's no room for on the first ship is being loaded onto the other one. How about you? Have you found anyone?"

"Just Reza and TJ. they sould be just over there. Probably wondering where I am."

"We should go to them, tell them what's happening with the ships. Those ships are the only real way we'll ever be able to get off this island, after all." Rorohiko looked around. "Here we go again," he said. "Why is it that I'm always in the middle of shit like this?"

"Have you been involved in something like this before?" Alex asked.

Rorohiko nodded. "Oh, yes. Nt exactly like this, but, well, I seem to be something of a shit magnet. I've been in the middle of almost every major event there's been durring the past few years. this particular situation is a new one, though. usually it's humans that are causing the problem, not a Pokemon. which reminds be of two things."

"What two things would those be?" Rain asked.

"First," Rorohiko replied, "to make a phone call when we get back to the port. I have a cellular phone in my bag, which is still on the ship. I would have placed the call earlier, but I forgot all about it when I saw the smoke rising from Rodscale. And second is to fill you in on the fact that Alex here was recently accused of murder."

"What? By who?"

"Some random trainer named Leo made the accusation," Rorohiko explained. "He also claimed that Alex is a member of Team Magma, and he somehow knew that Alex has a Groudon. I don't know if what he said is true or not, but Leo sure believed it. In fact, he almost killed Alex. he would have, but Ekratrel here intervened. I'm not sure what the truth is, but we can't afford to make assumptions. I plan to question Alex about it when things have calmed down. Until then, we should keep an eye on him, just in case. I've seen enough to know that he's not heartless, but if life has taught me one thing, it's that you can never be too cautious.

"Anyways, we're going to finish out sweep of the city and head back to port. Why don't you take us to Reza and TJ? Hopefully, we'll find the other trainers from Windsand, too. After that, we'll finish our sweep and get back to the port."

"All right," Rain said.

"Thank you. Now, let's get moving, shall we?"
