RPG The Mixed Experiment [PG VLS]

Chrysanthema snapped her head to look at Emilio hearing him laugh. The bloodied brand of a med on one corpse's uniform caught her eye. [I]'that bastard?'[/I] she thought. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"I'll be right back," [/COLOR] she said to Achilles, a small flame behind the look in her eyes.

A moment later, Chrys was standing in Emilio's way, blocking his oncoming strike with her weapon in hand. Her free hand punched the mildly surprised Kappa in the side of the face. Not enough force to do any damage, but enough to get his attention. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Idiot"[/COLOR] she hissed. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"They might be the enemy, but probably are the only ones who know how to treat the strange wounds. Now that you've started this mess, I won't forgive you if you make it worse, whether intentionally or not." [/COLOR]

The medical worker she saved was trying to scramble away in fear. She grabbed the person by the back collar. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Oh no you don't, I need you to take a look at a friend of mine?" [/COLOR] she said, dragging him and a small box kit back over to Achilles.

[Starwind]

Emilio was filled with a combanation of rage and joy that she had stepped up to him. He watched her take off flying to the edges of the camp "This is what I've been waiting for. She'll make a fine opponent, she has real guts. Unlike the slime here." He walked after her slicing soilders as they scrambled to gather there weapons or escape. Emilios translucent armor flickerd red against the flames of burning tanks and tents. He walked after Chrys where she sat in a tree next to the mortal known as Achilles. He appeared to be injured, but he was unintreseted in him, he wanted Chrys and he wanted her to fight him. He was driven by his blood lust to figth an opponent like her, one who didn't fear him, one who would fight without running. He stood at the base of the tree and looked up to her still siting next to Achilles "Woman, you have shown me your true colors. When I first met you I figured you for a coward for teaming with mortals, but now I see you for what you truly are. Come down and fight me, I have searched long and hard ofr one such as you." He smiled as she turned down to look at him with a look of surprise and anger on her face. He smiled "I only joined to find a challenge worthy of my effort. These soilders are pathetic, I want to fight you, someone with no fear."

[Lionheart]

[SIZE=2] [FONT=Arial]Gale dodged the gunfire and cut through the man effertlessly. He looked back where his men where. He ran over to them to hear Emillio challenging Chrys to a fight.
"Hey! I not going to pay you if you going to fight one of my men...." He yelled at Emillo, "Now forget about the camp and lets get through the mountain range." He looked at everyone before heading off. There was sounds of the army's men laughing.
"What the hell you laughing at?" He yelled pointing his sword at them. There was a loud boom as Gale looked up and gassped. There above the clouds was a large machine... flying. A machine airship? No way. Large guns came ut of the ship and began to fire at them.
"Let's go now!" [/FONT] [/SIZE]

[Darth Vectis]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles stayed proped against the tree looking over to where the battle was going, applying pressuer to his arm and looking at his legs bandage as it slowly turned red in color. A moment later he saw Chrysanthema walking toward him while dragging someone behind her, Achilles laughed lightly.

"Aww a gift for me? You shouldn't have, I didn't get you anything."[/B] Chrys just rolled her eyes and gave a small smile.

"Achilles, just be quite while he works."[/B] Chrys nugged the man and he sat next to Achilles, he opened his kit and pulled out sow weird tools Achilles had never seen before. He gripped his sword protectivly, the man went down to his bandaged arm and unwrapped the bandages, he pulled out a pair of weird look pliers and slowly inserted them into the wound. Achilles brought his sword up to the mans face when he felt a sharp pain, Chrys grabbed his arm.

[B]"Achilles relax."[/B] Achilles breathed in deeply and the man looked up at him.

[B]"This is gonna hurt, the bullet has lodged it self in some nervous and bone. It will hurt... a lot. Do you understand?"[/B] Achilles nodded his head and lowered his sword, he continued to grip it and waited for the pain, the man jerk suddenly and Achilles groaned, and squeezed even harder. Chrys grabbed Achilles arm quickly and he looked her in the eyes. Achilles her Emilios challenged and smiled lightly

"You should do it Chrys, show him thatyou are powerful." He said gritting his teeth down, Chrysanthema nodded and was about to walk off to fight him when Gale yelled. Achilles turned back to the man and was breathing harshly.

[B]"How much longer until you get it out?"

"Give me one more moment..."[/B] Right then he yanked out the steel head of the bullet and Achilles sighed.

"Ok, now let me stitch it up and we'll work on the next one."[/B] Achilles sighed and the men stitch up his open wound. Achilles ready himself for the next one, waiting for the up coming pain. Achilles saw the giant airship and grabbed the man by the collor.

"Hurry this up, we need to go now!"[/B] The man moved faster and yanked the bullet out, Achilles screamed this time. He pushed the man away and stitched it up himself. He stood up and looked around at the others, all of them running to the mountains, he was following, covering the rear. His leg still hurt from his wound, he watched the water demon with a hateful kind of look.

[B]"Pathertic are we, he'll see soon enough."[/B] Achilles said to himself as they sped away from the enemy airship.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Starwind]

Emilio was filled with hatred for that bastard Gale for interrupting with his mission, whatever he'll get his chance later. Emilio looked and saw Achilles give him a hatful look, whatever. Emilio simply smiled in response, then he turned and jumped in to the river and took off again. Emilio followed the river for as long as he could before it started to diverge from the others. He then built up his momentum and used that to launch himself like a missle toward the others and landed in the trees and began to take off with them. He looked back and watched the airship, he knew that if he could get high enough and he could find a waterfall near by, he might be able to reach that thing, but he knew of such thing around here so he had to deal with running for the moment. At the time they were simply small annoyances, his real obcession was the one called Chrys, she was truly the only one worth his time. She was the only with enough power and courage to satisfy him. First he had to get around Gale and Achilles, he had to find a way for them to get some privacy. That would have to wait til the right time. he ran through the forest and looked around "Wait I know where we are." He looked down to the others on the ground "Hey, take a left up here." They looked up to him untrusting. He smirked "If you don't want to, suit yourselves." With that he jumpd to the left and just waited to see who would follow. He jumped form tree to tree, keeping an eye out for what he was looking for. Finally he let out a call "Theres the lake." He jumped in and looked to the followers "jump in" he dove and went deep into the water nearing th bottom of the lake. At the bottom there was a tunnel that lead somewhere. He enterd the tunnel and went about twenty feet in and poped up in a cold dark dimly light cave. He pulled himself out of the water "Here's home away from...... well I guess this is as close to home as it come from me. There were plenty of signs that this was a place that had been lived in. Bones, decomposing fruit and vegetable remains, matting used for beds, this was one of emilios many hide aways.

[Deadpool]

Sarin watched the others flee while he and Amer where surrounded. "Cowards" Bullets rained at them while shadows came outr and covered them. When the barrage stopped and the shadows disappeared all that was left as Amer on a huge black dragon with pure dark energy coming from it makeing everyone sick. Sarin flew up and smiled as he came towards the flying ship, dodging the shots. Sarin latched himself to the side and began tearing away at it while Amer jumped back for the soldiers on the ground. "Let's leave after I take care of this thing" He bent one of the cannons in as it fired causing it to rip a hole in the side.

Chrysanthema didn't follow. Instead, she turned around at the first opportunity she could and returned to the camp after noting Sarin and Amer were missing. She stood at the edge in the background as she watched them fight with arms crossed. Did they realize that 'everyone' included them? Or did they feel that the two of them weren't part of the group? Either way she didn't really care. All she really wanted to know was whether she should wait for them. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Hey you two, are you coming or what? Or should I not bother waiting."[/COLOR]

She felt a bit jittery, and didn't want to really leave Gale and Achilles with Emilio for any longer than necessary. Lake?water?bad location all around.

Amer turned around at the sound of Chrys' voice. He grunted and knudged Sarin, to let him know she was there.

"Why does she stay? All of these pathetic weapons arent really gonna do anything to us." Amer said, smiling as he grabbed the face of a nearby soldier, then crushing it into the ground.

"She missed me, I hope." Sarin said dodging a blow from a soldier.

"Give me a second. I shall take care of this quick."Amer said as he began to change into a dog like creature. There were fangs that came out of his mouth, devilish yellow eyes, and his fur began to change to a yellow and black color. He raised his hands as long claws began to grow.

"Shit, Amer." Sarin yelled as he put up a barrier of darkness around Chrys and himself.

"Try to hurt me, it will only lead you to a quicker death." Amer said as he hit the ground, causing hundreds of tiny lightning bolts to shoot up, frying everyone close to him.

"I guess we can go Sarin. There really is nothing left."Amer said as he began to laugh at his words.

[Deadpool]

"I think we are in trouble" He watched as Chrys tap her foot irratated.

Amer pointed at Sarin. "His idea"

"What?" Sarin scwoled at Amer. "If it hadn't been for me then you would just now get here" He felt someone grab his ear and saw a hand grab Amer's. "Oww ow ow" He winced as Chrys began dragging them. "Okay okay I'm coming" They got to the Kappa's home. "I am not going there. Here I will take you to the city. Are you coming Chrys, think a warm bed and not straw and dirt to sleep on as well as good food at the city?"

[Starwind]

Emilio sat and watched as one of the two other demons prepared to leave "I wouldn't do that. If you leave now there going to find you and you can't conntest with that kind of fire power, at least without my help and I'm tired so I'm going to sleep." Sarin turned and glared at him as Emilio he went to a small pond in the back of the cavern. He layed down and seemed to disappear in the water even though it was only waist deep. Emilio could here some level of commotion from the others [I]'oh well, it those idiots leave just means less people to look after'[/I].

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"As much as that sounds appealing, I won't just abandon Gale and Achilles in that company," [/COLOR] she said with a stern look. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Unfortunately for me, I'm not an expert swimmer. If you want to go on ahead, then by all means do so."[/COLOR]

At the risk of alerting the whole entire area of her position, she tried yelling to see if they could possibly hear her from inside. Most likely not, but it was worth a shot. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Hey you Guys! Can you hear me?!" [/COLOR] She called, knowing very well she looked like an idiot at the moment.

[Starwind]

Emilio heard Chrys yelling for the others 'whatever'. He could hear her trying to call them from inside the cave and he knew good and well taht they would never hear them. After she seemed to be losing her voice Emilio rose from the water 'Why the hell do I always do this shit." He dove back into the water and rushed to teh surface of the lake and shot out like a missle, gaining considerable air. He looked out to see the airship and looked down to see that the two of them seemed to have gotten themselves lost when they fell behind. He saw that the ship was closing in on them and if it did they didn't stand a chance on there own. Emilio rose a large water column and launched this large spear at the airship. This seemed to get the large ships attentiona nd it started to fire on Emilio, who then took to the river and sped off leading the ship away from the others.

[Deadpool]

OOC: UMM, my guy ripped the airship to wher it already crashed. Thanks to my guy's dragon form.

Sarin watched Emillio run away. "Umm, what is up with that?"

Amer shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know, maybe he is scared of shadows"

Sarin laughed. "Let's go, if you need help just yall my name" Shadows surrounded him and Amer and then they appeared at the next town. "Let's get a bite to eat. I raided the last town's treasurey before we left." Two bags of money popped out from Sarin's shadow. "Let's go"

[Darth Vectis]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles saw as Emilio dived into his lake and disappeared, and saw how the airship was taken down by Sarin's enourmous dragon. He smiled at the destruction and looked deep into the rivers waters, slowly swirling the wat with his sword then withdrawing it.

"Not going in there. Don't trust that water demon in his domain."[/B] Achilles looked around and found a tree, he stabbed his sword into it and climbed to a thick branch. Placing his helmet on a branch above him and his shield on the branch next to him, he looked over his arm and leg.

"Hope these heal quick, I'll be at a disadvantage for awhile. At least that will test my skills."[/B] He said to himself as he leaned back and settled into the tree, making himself as comfortable as possible before he was able to relax and just watch the moon as he rose above them and shined on his eyes through the lush green leaves of the trees branchs.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Starwind]

Emilio came back in to the cave and looked to Chrys "Don't worry your friends are fine, there both outside near the edge of the lake. The other two losers are headed for the city to enjoy the night life. You can go to, I don't really care." Emilio walked to the back of the cave and went back to teh pond and layed back down. He felt restless and he couldn't figure out why, all he could think was [I]'why do I care about these idiots so much[/I]'. He closed his eyes and fell asleep in the water which began ot turn murky as he did.

[Deadpool]

Sarin appeared next to Achilles. "Come on and join us" He engulfed him in shadows and tunred to Chrys. "This portal will remian open for five mreo minutes. Make yuor decision" He disappearred and was back at the inn with Achilles and Amer. "Hey bartender. Give us the full meal and keep the drinks coming" He turned to Achilles. "You eat alot? Me and Amer have trouble trying to stay full."

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Alright then, if you insist. I'm going to head off with those so-called 'losers' to the city, and am taking Gale with me,"[/COLOR] she said in the general direction of Emilio.

[I]'You can go too, I don't really care?'[/I] rang for a moment in her head. Like she needed the Kappa's permission?hmph. Only another reason why she [I]should[/I] go. Pulling Gale with her she took Sarin up on the offer, immediately spotting them all sitting around with food and drinks. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Room for two more?"[/COLOR] she asked jokingly.

[Darth Vectis]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles smiled as Gale and Chrys came through the portal, he had a beer mug in his hand and enjoying one. A full meal lie in front of him and he had to start eating, Sarin looked at him and grinned.

"Well, I can see you do like to eat. Very nice."[/B] Achilles stopped from his meal and grinned back, he went back and tore at the meat that lie on his plate, Sarin and Amer ate like he did. Taking huge bites and tearing the meat apart with their teeth and fingers.

I these guys are interesting. I wander what they are up to?[/I] Achilles thought to himself as he resumed eating and drinking.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Starwind]

Emilio rose realizing he was still restless. He turned to see a black portsl start to shrink away "Guess they all decided to leave. Is this mission really worth it? These people are starting to wear on my mind." He headed to the entrance to his cave and dove into the water "Maybe some practice and meditation will make me feel better." He rushed from the water and launched himself into the sky and began pulling the water from the lake up into the air with him. THe water began dancing like it had a will of it's own. Emilio stood in the middle of this amazing orchestra with his hands clenched together and his body as straight as an arrow. It was like watching some kind of gyro scope as it whirled around his bodypicking up glints of light from the stars and the neighboring city. He took each one of the thin strands and began twirling them like whips and lashing out at the landscape. The lake was now almost completely empty, since all the water resided with emilio who was using it to take shots at the landscape. He was filled with anger and confusion "Why do I care what those losers do? Why does any of it matter to me?[B] WHY DO I CARE!!![/B]" he let loose a violent tornado of water and leveld all the trees for 400 yards around. He let the water drop as he dropped with it back to the lake bed as it filled it once again. He popped back to the surface of the water and layed on his back looking to the stary night sky "Whats wrong with me?" he looked aimlessly to the sky as if expecting to see the answer up there, but he was greeted with silence "I should be happy like this, shouldn't I?"

[Deadpool]

Sarin smiled as he devoured an entire turkey, being part demon wasn't easy. He watched as Amer did the same. Sarin heard several guys talking very loudy in the back ground as Sarin drank a full mug. "Meal is on me" Chrys and Gale sat down as more plates of food were set on the table along with drinks. "You didn't bring the Kappa?"

Chrys shook her head. "No"

"Well he still has two minues he needs to hurry. He saw Amer get up and walk off in the direction of the loud men. "Not again" The tavern was extremly crowded and now Amer was going to start another.

"Will you be quiet!"

"Make me you little brat"

Sarin smiled as the man suddenly went crashing down in off to the side of their table. "At least he didn't hit the food" He heard the bartender yell out no magic or he would call the Guild. Him and Sarin were strong enough to take on maybe one or two but not a whole team. The guild had some of the best harmonizers around not to metion mages that would kill them wioth one hit. "Amer no shapeshifting, just beat him sensless"

Amer smiled. "Got it"

The man stood up and grabbed Sarin's glass and threw it at Amer.

Amer shook his head. "You really shouldn't have done that"

Sarin stood up and grabbed the man by the throat. "That was mine" He flung the man through a wall. "Alright, who else wants to piss me off" More poeple started moving in, apparntly this guy had a lot of freinds. Sarin leaned over to Achilles. "Look, we have entertanment, wanna be the guy who helps his two new freinds beat the crap out of everyone?" Sarin dove into the crowd along with Amer and but their backs to each other beating anyone who caem near them. "Come on, this is fun"

Chrys stood up calmly as if nothing was going on. Stepping over to where the guys were surrounding Amer and Sarin, she coughed to get the crowd's attention. Without changing the relaxed expression of her face the girl said, [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"If anybody else here would like to start something, I will personally see to it that you all will have your lives cut especially short and painfully when you won?t be protected by the rules of the bartender."[/COLOR]

One particularly weasel looking guy up front felt she was bluffing. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Winged or not, she's just a girl-" [/COLOR] He was sent across the room and into an empty table by a swift punch, taking a few buddies with him. Many of them stepped back, but a there were still those that stayed stubborn.

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"This [I]is[/I] very entertaining?I shouldn't probably interrupt any further though. Have fun. Let me know if you need me for anything." [/COLOR] she sat back down to enjoy a drink while she watched, almost feeling a bit sorry for the men. They were way out of their league.

[Starwind]

Emilio lie motionless in the water for sometime before he finally decided to move again. He swam to the edge of the lake and climbed out "Guess I should catch myself something to eat." He st his hand on the side of his neck and popped it one good time then moved on to the forest. He didn't feel like fish for dinner, that's all he had been eating for the last month. He decided to go hunting for deer and maybe gather a few fruits. He lived like a hemit out there, but that's how he generally liked things, he liked being alone. But recently these people he's been with have started to leave an imprint on him. He kept trying to think of why, it's not like they had known each other long and it's not even like he got along with them. So why did he not just get out now? Why put himself in danger for a cause that seemed futile? Maybe it was because he thought it was futile, just a good excuse to kill those dark army bastards and get paid at the same time. Whatever the reason he couldn't get over the fact that he kept thinking of them. He thought maybe hunting down some, poor, helpless andimal and buthering it might make him feel better. Sadly, even after catching and gutting a deer he found in the woods, he still didn't feel any better for it. He drug the thing back tjo his cave and started to roast teh thing over and open flame "I like'em medium rare." he said int he silence of his cave. As the hollow echo came back he felt the void inside himself get bigger "What the hell do I need other people for? They jsut get in the way of a good time and are only good for providing one. Maybe I shoud just bail on them. Just go and never look back. I don't need this crap, do I?" after sitting in silence for several minutes he decided not to go anywhere and just sat there eating his meat. He sat there and stared at the flame "What good are they?"

Amer felt his blood boil with happiness as he sent another guy across the room. "Sarin, remind me, I really feel like changing and killing everyone here." He let out a big smirk as a very big guy stood in front of him.

"Amer, no. You know how good they are. Remember what we went through last time. They nearly killed us." He said dodging a blow, then hitting the guy back, hard.

"Right, I remember." The big guy in front of him stood, like he was froze in time.

"Good, we can take them without any probl;ems." Sarin said as he got back to back with Amer.

"Sarin, big guy. What chould I do?"

"Dunno, why?"

"What if he is very big, and doesn't want to move?"

"Make him." Sarin said punching another guy.

"Right." Amer said as a smile grew on his face. He quickly dissapeared, then reappeared behindthe guy and hit him in the side if the head, making him lean a little.

"Amer, I didn't hear a thud." Sarin said as he turned around. "Oh, thats why."

"Yeah, told you." Sarin said as he got into a rare fighting stance.

[Darth Vectis]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles smiled as he saw Sarin and Amer fighting off groups of men, he was tempted to fight but he knew he needed to relax and let his wounds heal. That was until a brute bumped into him and spilted his beer, he stood up and knocked the man out with one punch.

"Bastered spilled my beer."[/B] Achilles loked up to see a few other men coming at him, he smiled lightly and entered the brawl that was started, punching men around and throwing them. Enjoying himself all around. [/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Deadpool]

Sarin spin kicked the big guy making him actually move a step. "Okay, you are really pissing me off"

One of the guys at a table laughed. 'That's Bear He can catch one of those cannon ball things with one hand"

Sarin looked at Amer. "You thinking what I am thinking"

Amer nodded and did a low kick to the private area causing the man to lose concentration.

"Chi, a mental armor" He and Amer then beat the crap out the guy and threw him out a window. The three of them finished off the rest of the men and sat back down a little sore but unhanrmed. "I'm hungry again" He ripped into a turkey, his sharp teeth ripping the flesh like paper.
