RPG The Mixed Experiment [PG VLS]

[Darth Vectis]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles stood on the tip of the airship, looking out to the clouds and the mountains. Views a human like him could not achieve with the help of this device, he stared out at the clouds when someone came up to his side. Achilles kept looking forward, knowing exactly who it was.

"Yes captain?"[/B] The man cleared his throat.
[B]
"I'd like to know where were going before we get shot down."[/B] Achilles though for a moment, he turned to the captian.
[B]
"Do you have intelligence on where the dark army comes from?"[/B]
[B]
"Yes, but were not sure if we can trust it."[/B]
[B]
"It's the best we got, we go on it. No go!"[/B] The captian nodded and walked away, Achilles looked back into the clouds. After about an hour they soon started to decend and Achilles knew they were close. He held Dreadnaught in his hands firmly, his knuckles were getting to point of turning white. As they decended he could see a city full of blackened streets of dark amry troops, this had to be it. Achilles thought as he readied himself for a new fight. They dropped low enough where a human could jump off of the ship and land on these soliders that would break their fall. Achilles instantly jumped the moment he saw he was able to.

He landed on the men and did what he did best, he took their lives by the tip of his sword. But Achilles was only one man and the mass amount of men that were infesting this city were to great for him and overwhlemed him. They dragged him into the main hall, two men carrying him to their master. They arrived and dropped him on the hard, stone floor. His face was bruised and one eye was swollen, his lip was cut open and his arms were cut up in several places. His legs were brusied and cut and Achilles could barely hold himself up. As he looked he saw Kami, she had some knew cuts and bruises and Achilles smiled.

"Looks like Sarin and Amer got you good."[/B] He said in a raspy voice, Kami was about to smack him when she was held back by an arm. Achilles changed his gaze to settle on this new demon, he knew who it was and his face turned hard. The demon turned around to face Achilles, a smale creasing his face.
[B]
"You must be Achilles. I've heard a lot about you, your father was a strong warrior like you. But not as effect as you are, you have killed at least a thousand of my dark army forces. And yet still won't quit, and I hoped you would come to me eventually. It was even better when you came alone. So now that I have you in my grasp, I offer you a pact. My son couldn't kill the others, but I'm hoping you will."[/B] Achilles smiled and slightly swayed trying to maintain his balance.
[B]
"I don't plan on betraying anyone today. So you can take that offer and throw it out the window. Because I'll sooner suffer the pits of Hell then take your offer."[/B] Achilles coughed and blood spilled on to the floor, he then fell to the floor and passed out.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Starwind]

Emilio's head still felt light, but well enough to open his eyes and look tot he room around him again. He looked back to Gale, who was still unconsious, and then he looked to see another he didn't expect to see. Chrys had been brought in as well. He knew not what brought her here. The dark army may have already moblized, they could be just outside the city now. Being in his stated, he had no way of knowing who long it had been since his eyes last opend. It very well may have been days, but the look of those around him lead him to believe otherwise. It had only appeared to be a few hours, but then why was Chrys here? Surely the dark army couldn't have come with such numbers so quickly, so then why was she in such a state? A question he couldn't answer himself. He glanced to the doctor who was still moving about the room, tending to many injured individuals. As he strolled passed he notices Emilio is consious again "Oh well. Lookie here. It seems the little kappa boy has regained consiousness." He stopped and looked to Chrys and looked back to Emilio "I wonder when the rest of you will be here. She showed up not but a two hours ago." He then left and went back to his business. Emilio could only rest and wonder. This had come to be more trouble then it was really worth, but he had to keep going. To give up now after doing so much and coming so far would be disgusting.

[Lionheart]

[FONT=Arial] Gale seemed to lose himself in total darkness. He was floating around in the shadows. he didn't know if he was dead or just surrounded by the dark army. A shadowy figure above him. He could only see his outline and nothing more.
"Gale, you know what you have done?! You risked your life to kill many soldiers? Is your life really that meaningless? Your a prince, act like one!" Gale stared at the figure, unable to speak his mind.
"Without you, Fujin will be destroyed. You may have killed thousands of soldiers, but that isn't even one-fourth of the whole army." Gale gasped, unable to think its even possible.
"What should I do?" He whispered, surprised himself that he could talk again.
"Run....Run back to Fujin Castle and stay safe." Gale thought a moment and stared at the figure coldly.
"Never, I'll never run."
"Then you will fall." The figure disappeared as Gale could feel himself wake from his long sleep.
"Ah, your awake. That's good. You looked like you where not going to make it." Said the Doc as Gale straighten up. He grabbed his sword from the table near.
"Oh no, not this again. Its not a 50/50. you will die if you fight more." He looked to the side of the bed to see the Kappa demon asleep. He went to his bed and looked down at him, full of anger. Though the anger faded as he took off his necklace and placed it on his chest.
"The sacred stone of Fujin!" Said the Doc firmly. "But it isn't suppose to be passed down unless your son is born or the king is...."
"Dead." Gale whispered as he went near Chrys and kissed her softly on the cheek. He could remember childhood memories with her. Him, her, and Achillies have been together for along time.
"Tell her she's in charge of the army after she is awake."
"Lord Gale, please think about this. Your death means nothing to the world."
"Good bye Doc. Get them bakc on their feet." He took one looked and left the building. He left the city for he thought would be his last battle.[/FONT]

[Kuroshin13]

Chrys faded in and out of awareness, catching bits and pieces of conversations and the sightless feel of the world outside of her sleeping insides. She could feel something against her cheek briefly, but was too out of it for any kind of reaction. It wasn't until a while later the fire demon woke up and found she could move a little again, but not without the pain at its fullest. With a little cough, she struggled slightly to sit all the way up and look about the room. Gale was gone. She had to do a double take for it to fully register. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Am I surrounded by idiots with death wishes today?!" [/COLOR] Chrys exclaimed louder than she meant to. Actually, she didn't even expect the thought to be voiced at all. Others turned to look at her in surprise or alarm of being woken up so suddenly. A bit embarrassing to say the least.

Emilio opened his eyes to look at her slightly sleepy. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"That?was loud." [/COLOR] Chrysanthema just nodded an I know, afraid to say anything. She noticed Gale's necklace resting on his chest. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"He passed his birthright? I could have sworn Gale hated you?"[/COLOR] she couldn't help but laugh, causing another burst of pain to shut her up quickly with its only evidence being the look in her eyes. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"What happened to you?[/COLOR]" he asked.

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Achilles ran off on his own, and I attempted to stop him. He fixed that one the only way he could have?Now I see Gale's done the same thing?but in worse condition." [/COLOR] She moved to try and stand on the floor. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Idiot, but responsible. I'm glad you seem to be alright?considering I truly did attempt to kill you."[/COLOR]

Before anybody could say anything else the old doctor walked back over from being outside. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Ah, so everyone's awake? Good. Makes my job easier as long as you youngin's don't get under feet. However, I have important instructions to pass on to you Fire Starter. Listen closely. Lord Gale said you're in charge of the army now," [/COLOR] Despite his greeting and initial tone, Chrys saw how serious the old man was. Half standing, the girl just sat right back down and buried her face in her hands like 'Oh great why now?' Her wings twitched slightly, she wasn't in any condition to be moving this much at once yet. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"I'm no leader, I don't think I can do this?Emilio, do you have any ideas?"[/COLOR] She could barely think as it was. This whole ordeal was forcing her to grow up a great deal, and fast. There was no way she was going to give up though.

[Starwind]

Emilio reached up and clasped his hand around the charm that had been set on his chest. He realized from what they had said to him this was suppose to be Gale's birthright, why did he give it to him? Emilio tried to sit up, grunting and weezing. He sat up and looked to Chrys "I'm still not up to a long fight, but I think we need to prepare for the worse." She just stared for a moment "What's that suppose to mean?" Emilio sighed and turned his legs over the edge of is bed "I think we need to get ready to launch the assault on the dark capital. Achilles may have gone there, but I'm the one who knows what it's like there. If he tried to fight alone, there's no way he could win. Not with my father there, not inside the gates of the city. We need to assume that they might fail, and that we might have to prepare our counter offensive." She seemd a bit dazed for a moment, maybe from the pain or maybe from what he had said or maybe a little of both. She went to sit completely back down on her bed "So, where should we start?" Emilio pulled a cane and pushed himself to his feet, but failed in his attempt, still not strong enough to stand "We need to moblize whatever armored division this city has and position them around the city, preparing for a posible attack. then we take what's left of the foot soilders and the air brigade, again whatevers left, and we move on the capital. We need to spread thin and completely surround the city and move in on all sides. Me and you can charge the front gate and distract the initial on slaut." She nodded to him as she got to her feet "Okay. I'll get that set up." As she looked like she was going to leave Emilio grabbed her arm "For what it's worth, I'm sorry for doing this to you. And if you see Gale let him know I'm sorry for what I did to him as well."

[Lionheart]

[FONT=Arial] Dredick stared coldly at Achillies as he motioned for his sword. They quickyt brought his Greatsword and backed away from the two. He raised it slightly only to hear a shout from above. Gale flung himself to the gorund near them, blood streaming down his body.
"Don't you dare touch him!" Dredick huffed, but then made a wicked smile.
"Well, if it isn't the prince of Fujin. Lord Gale." He kicked Achillies away, making Gale even madder. He got into a battle stance as Gale tried to.
"To think, after I kill you. No one can stop me. Fujin will be mine!" He charged Gale with inhuman speed. He managed to dodge the first sweep, but was hit with the hilt on the back. Pain shot through him as he fell to the ground.
"This shouldn't take long in the condition your in. After I'm done, your mother is next!" Gale's eyes flared as he bounced up and parried with the demon. He jumped back as his sword began to glow.
"Time to die. [I]Sky-Dragon Explosion[/I]!!!" The attack was blur as the demon was covered in a mix of smoke and flames from the cuts. Gale's body was covered in sweat as he could feel his life being drained out. He began to hear clapping and turned to the smoke.
"Nice fireworks. I'm impressed." Gale's eyes widen as there wasn't a scratch on him.
"That's impossible..." Dredick smiled and charged after him again, but Gale didn't have enough energy to dodge the attack. Two shots ot the gut and one slash across the chest. Gale fell to the ground, so much blood. Dredick pressed his boot on Gale's back as he roared in pain.
"Time to die, my prince. Say hello to your father for me." That triggered Gale's anger over the limit. The ground tremble as Dredick backed off. Gale once again got back up, ready to launch his final attack.
"Your too strong for me." His father's sword began to glow stronger then before. "But I'll never give up!!" Gale jumped up towards the ceiling. Dredick smiled, getting ready to block the attack.
"Bring your final attack, then." Gale pushed over and began to descend towards him.
"Exposion combo. [I]Mad Dance[/I]!!!" The Explosion blew the walls of the hall completly off as the servents where blown away too. Smoke settled as Gale fell to the ground, unable to move an inch. Dredick stood over him, his face was cold. His greatsword was shattered and the attack had messed up his right shoulder.
"You impress me, prince. If you had hit me in the chest or my face. I would have been on the ground with you, only dead."
"Just kill me." Gale whispered, he could have killed him and been a hero.
"Oh no. I have a much more important job for you. Your power will come in handly." Gale's smile made Dredick alittle uncomfortable. In amazement, Gale got back up.
"Oh are you able to stand?"
"I Will rather die then be used as a tool." Golden aura surrounded Gale as he knew he was going to do the right thing.
"You should know the power of the Sacred stone of Fujin. As long as it isn't destroyed, I am able to come back to life. Only if the user knows what to do." Dredick's eyes widen as this time Gale was the one with the wicked smile.
"See you in the after-life." He roared as Gale Self-destruct.

The smoke settled as the hall was destroyed and all the soldiers were killed. Half of Dredick's armor was destoryed as blood streamed down his forehead. Gale's statement kept going through his mind. [/FONT]

[Kuroshin13]

She nodded. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"If I see him?you do realize that neither of us are in any condition for this, right?" [/COLOR] Emilio nodded, and Chrys attempted a small grin. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Just making sure. I'll see if I can hunt down Sarin and Amer as well?" [/COLOR] She excused herself to get everything ready, hoping to pull together enough people who weren't very injured. From her point of view, the view was bleak. It took a while, but eventually word got around and everyone was set up and ready for the worse for the most part. There were barely enough people to defend the city incase of an attack, never mind the very few left of the air brigade and foot soldiers. Even then they really weren't in condition to be traveling around.

Now all that was left was to find the harmonizers. She glanced around, not sure how much farther she'd be able to push herself. Finally spotting them with another she didn't recognize ever seeing before, not that she was curious but just noticed the fact, Chrys started to hobble over to talk to them. She stopped midstep, still pretty far away, and turned around again to look off in one direction. She had one of those feelings. The sudden loss feeling that can never be explained, but the effect that something really bad had just happend beyond immediate sight. [I]'Gale...'[/I] she thought out of the blue.

[Starwind]

Emilio watched as she left, he knew full wel that neither them nor the army here was ready for something like this, but if they didn't act soon then there would never be another chance. He sat back up and pulled himself to his feet with a cane he had forged from water. He managed his feet and moved toward the doctor "So, you were listening, do you think we have a shot old man?" The doctor continued about his business wthout a glance "I'm just a doctor son, I've no idea of the workings of the battlefeild or the young minds who call it home. All I know is, even if I said it was, it wouldn't stop you." Emilio smirked "You smarter then I thought old man." Emilio limped to the door and looked out to the injured soilders and devastated armed force. He knew this would be nearly impossible, but he knew it had to be done. Better nearly impossible, then entirly. He walked out to the street and leaned off against the wall of a building. He knew that if they had gone alone, the two of them were probably within his fathers clutches. They were both probably captured. He wasn't sure if they could really run a rescue mission, but he knew that he would at least have to try. Undoubtely, Chrys would want to aid him, the two hoarmonizers were another story, there was no way to know just how helpful they would be. He let it be at that, he knew that it wasn't even a definite possiblity. Seeing the army before him, he knew they may not be up to something as difficult as that. But he knew the dak city now, if he went on his own he might be able to find them somewhere in the city. But he also knew that if he went alone he'd just be joining them. He didn't know what to do, but he knew he would have to do it soon.

[Kuroshin13]

Looking over and seeing that Emilio was up and about, she hobbled over to talk to him. Her legs pretty much gave out from under her as she half sat and half fell on the grass. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Ugh. It isn't going to work. Nobody's in any condition to go anywhere. If we go through with it, they'll just be in even worse condition than now from the travel. Not to be stereotypical or anything, but look at them." [/COLOR] She motioned to what was left of Gale's men. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"They're only human. You know the place, is there any way to maybe?sneak in unnoticed or something to find the two and get out of there without meeting the same fate?"[/COLOR] Chrys figured she might already know his answer, but had to ask anyway. Every train of thought just kept bringing the same unfavorable conclusion.

[Starwind]

Emilio limped over to her, still holding himself up with his crutch. He sat next to her "There might be a slight chance. But like I said it's real slight. The city has to have a constant supply of water flooding into the city, and it needs to be clean water. I know of only one way from where they are they could derive water clean enough to keep that city alive. I could make it through alone, but once I got inside if they found me they'd capture me. I wouldn't stand a chance so I can't risk it alone. But if you think you can make it through the water and hold your breath long enough to get to the city, then we might stand a fighting chance." Chrys looked to him "What about the other two?" Emilio shook his head "I'm not sure how much we can rely on them. There so unstable, it's really a weakness. They mightbe able to deal with Kami, and only barely at that. But to fight like that against my father would be suicide. I'm not sure if we should rely on such a flimsy power." She nodded back "So we should leave them here?" Emilio looked to the troops in pain and suffering "It would be better if they stayed here and protected the city. There power is best suited for that." She looked to him again "A little harsh on the harmonizers huh." Emilio shook his head and looked to the ground "Maybe, but it'st the truth of the matter. The way it is now, they would only be a burden since they can't guarantee there bloodlust. If they even tried for my father in that state I know what would happen." She stopped him "Let me guess, you did it once didn't you." Emilio nodded "A demons power is great in the form of a berserker. This is something I'm sure we both know. Since were both demon, we also know that in that state, calm tactical thought is impossible. My father is calculating, power alone won't win. I've seen him destroy demons several times stronger then himself, but he was always smater and thought out his pwer usuage better, so he always won in the end. They're harmonizers, they were born human, so they understand little of this. They have seen demons power grow in a berserk state, but they don't know how to fight like we do. They squander there power quickly and once it's gone, they can be swatted quickly. Until they realize this, we can't risk bringing them before my father, he would crush them." Chrys laid on her back "So how far do we have to go to get through this pipe line." Emilio sighed "Almost two miles. Think you can make it?"

[Lionheart]

[FONT=Arial]Gale awake as light above him was too bright. He got up easily as his injuries seemed to have been erased.
"Finally you awake. I was getting tired of sitting here!" Gale looked back to see a old woman floating in thin air.
"Where am I? Is this the after-life? Am I dead?" The old woman coughed between each question.
"Prince of Fujin, your at a place between the world and the after-life. Since your tied with the Sacred stone of Fujin, your half alive and half dead." Gale took a moment to suck in the information.
"So all I can do is wait until that Kappa brings me back?"
"Yessum. While your waiting, you can see what there doing too." She flexed her hand as a bright light appeared. It beamed and disappeared leaving a crystal ball. She gently placed it in front of Gale as a scene appeared. The demon, Emilio and Chrys where talking. The kappa was telling her about the cities pipes and them going on alone.
"It seems your mighty army is too weak at the time." Gale pounded his fist against the ground.
"They don't have a chance! They need to rest."
"They still think your alive and your friend Achillies as well." Gale's eyes widened.
"So me Achillies!" The ball shift scenes as he saw that Achillies was beneath the Rubble. It seemed that Dredick had not cleaned up his destroyed hall, if you call that anymore. Dredick seemed to be standing, looking at the crater that Gale's explosion made.
"Why his he in a trance?"
"He saw that you are able to come back to life. two reasons why he is thinking. one, he is wondering how you got that power. two, he wants to be immortal. Get the stone, you don't come to life and he becomes immortal." Gale looked at Dredick through the ball.
"Come on guys."[/FONT]

[Kuroshin13]

Chrys sighed, and thought for a long moment. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"You're right about the Harmonizers. Besides, lets say there is another attack. The people left will need all the help they can get, even if it is as shaky as those two."[/COLOR] She calculated a bit of math in her head, wondering if she could indeed rise to the occasion and not drown half way there. Her eyes narrowed at a random cloud. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"?I might?"[/COLOR] she nodded. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Yea, I think I can make it in regards to how long I have to hold my breath. However, I'm not exactly the best swimmer around." [/COLOR] The fire demon motioned to her wings. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"The last time I tried swimming under water, I splashed around a bit and almost drowned. Gale jumped in after me, him and Achilles were trying to teach me. Was in bed for almost a month with a nasty cold from the chill?I'll try though."[/COLOR]

[Lionheart]

[FONT=Arial] Gale laid on his back as he was getting extremly bored. All he had to do is wait for the kappa to do birng him back. Not an easy task. Even Gale didn't know.
"Is there anything here to do?"
"Of course there is. You have your sword don't you?" Gale stood back up and looked down at his belt. Surprisingly, his sword was there.
"Yeah." The old woman coughed as she waved over to her right.
"Go train then. When you are summoned back. Your be stronger." The white area was endless. Perfect for training.
"I'll tell ya if anything important happens." Gale thought for a minute and shrugged.
"Alright, I guess I can train some." He walked 100 paces away from the old woman as he pulled out his sword. When he gets summoned back, he'll be ready to help his friends. He'll be ready to protect Chrys and Achillies. And even those demons. Just hope that Kappa will help him out by bring him back. He keeps questioning why did he leave the stone with him?[/FONT]

[Darth Vectis]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles eyes creacked open and he saw he was covered in stone and debry. He tried to move but found his body was to stiff and he was to sore, he coughed and more blood covered the floor, suddenly a hand ripped the rubble away and looked down at him hard.

It was Dedrick, his face was burned and bleeding, his armor was stained with soot and looked as if he was about to kill Achilles. He picked up Achilles limp body and held him high, Achilles dangled helplessly, two soldiers that were still alive hustled over to their master. He dropped Achilles in their hands.
[B]
"Take him and throw him in the cell. Let Kami do her damage to him then leave him be. We'll see how long he lasts with this kind of punishment."[/B] The men bowed their heads and dragged Achilles away, Achilles hung limp still. Breathing harshly, trying to keep his eyes open and from coughing up anymore blood. The dragged him into his cell and tossed him into it and slammed the door behind them.

Achilles sat up and looked around the cell, it was barren and gray. The only light coming into the cell was from the moon light through steel bars. He looked down thinking he was alone until he heard a sigh from inside the cell, he turned his head slowly to look in the farthest corner. He saw a person sitting down in the shadows. He heard a sinister laugh. Kami stood up and walked toward him with a wicked smile.
[B]
"I'm gonna have some fun tonight."[/B] Achilles kept his face blank and breathed harshly, she summoned up her wind and turned it into a whip. She cracked it and her smile grew Achilles waited for the punishment. Two hours later Achilles was on his knees, vicious lashes were all around his body, some of them were bleeding freely, he could feel the warmth of it slowly dripped off of him. Kami sighed and made the whip disappear.
[B]
"Your stronger then I thought. But i'll be back tomorrow, we'll see how strong you are then."[/B] She opened the door and stepped out, slowly closing it behind her as she waved her gfingers at him. As soon as the door slammed he fell to the floor and laid there. As he lie on the floor, panting, he heard Dreadnaught speak.
[B]
"You should give into his will. All the pain will end if you relinquish your loyalties to your supposed friends.[/B]"
[B]
"Supposed?"[/B] He said in a raspy voice.

[B]"Well, if they were true friends they would of come for you already. They would have rescued you, kept you away from all the pain. But here you are, beaten and bleeding on the floor. You need to give in."

"No."

"Do it!"

"No!"[/B] Achilles screamed back at Dreadnaught.

[B]"I will not betray them, they do not deserve it. And If I must suffer then thats the way it will be until they come. And if they never come I will die beofre I raise my sword to one of the soldiers I have fought with."

"You have no choice. You either die right here in this cell, or you save your own life and do Dredicks bidding."

"I choose death."[/B] Achilles said as he began to quiver uncontrollable, his head grew light and he soon lied in a blood of his own blood.
[B]
"Looks like I am going to do what I said."[/B] Achilles smiled as he laughed lightly and shook, his smile faded and his eyes closed. He stopped moving all together and his muscles relaxed. He still laid in his own blood. A second later, the pool of blood slowly swam up his body and into the open cuts. Within a few moments all the blood that was on the floor was back into Achilles body.

The wounds closed up and healed perfectly. No scars, marks or anything. Achilles felt the strength return to his muscels and his limbs. He stood up and took a deep breath, his eyes were still closed he stretched. He opened his eyes and a feeling of peace and power flowed through his vains.

"The merge is complete. You are the rightful owner of the body, spirit, and mind. I am at your service Achilles."[/B] Achilles looked around as if he had never seen the cell before. He had won the battle between him and Dreadnaught, he was now the control of one of the most powerful weapons. And he was gonna use it to do what was needed to be done, but until then he was gonna wait.

He sat down and crossed his legs, he cupped on hand in the other and closed his eyes. He began to breath slowly and waited for Kami to return the next morning, that is when he was going to strike.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Starwind]

Emilio looked to Chrys "You don't have to worry about swimming. I'll take care of that, you just focus on staying consious. I'm a kappa remember, I can move us both through the water, you just need to hold your breath." Chrys nodded to him "In that case, this'll be a snap." Emilio nodded back "We leave as soon as possible. The longer we wait, the bleaker there chances of survival." Chrys nodded and they got to there feet. Emilio looked to the river "We'll follow that. It'll take us to the lake were we'll find our back door." Chrys stopped him as they went "Are you sure we should go now? We're both still pretty injured." Emilio kept going to the river "Just give it time. We'll be back up to speed by the time we get to the city." She shrugged alright. She followed him toward the river. Once there Emilio let himself fall into the water "I'm already feeling better in here." Chrys turned to him "You mean you can be healed with just water." Emilio shook his head "Of course not. Emilio kept floating alongside her in the river "Four to five hours. Sometime just before day break tomorrow." She nodded back to him and they were on there way to the dark city to rescue Achilles andf Gale from Dredick.

[FONT=Arial]Gale let the sweat pour down his body as he slashed through the air. He took long, hard breaths as he took another cut.
"I must get better." His sword went bright, as he sent shockwaves of explosions on the ground. The old wmona coughed as the smoke filled her area.
"Get over here! Achillies is fully emerge with Dreadnaught!" She seemed to have smiled for the first time. Gale though didn't know what she was talking about.
"What? who's Dreadnaught?"
"Long story. To make it short. Achillies will be a force to reckon with!" Gale, though still confused was happy to hear it. Achillies by emerging might have a chance against Dredick, he hoped. But she turned cold for a instant.
"Do not think that Gale. Dredick can not be easy be destroyed, even with Achillies new found power. You must keep training and be ready, for this could be a re-make of the 3,000 year old war once again." Gale sacnend through his memory of all the books he read about that war. The war between the humans and elves. That war almost destroyed the whole world.
"Come on. That's impossible."
"If he gets your stone, Its possible. Being Immortal and with immeasurable power. It wouldn't be a war anymore. He would be the hunter and the people of the world would be the hunted. You best keep up with your training." Gale wipped the sweat away as he pulled up his sword.
"Alright." But the old woman was paying attention. she looked away in awe. Gale turned and had to put up a hand against the bright light.
"It seems someone wants to see you." Gale then saw who it is.

Sarin felt the two pure demons presence drifting away. No matter, he could find them anyway and he would show them how he could keep his power in check. "I got to go. See you later Amer" He changed into demon form and flew off to the libary and began going through old books and manuscripts. He soon found what he needed in a demonic looking book. "Ahh, About time I found this. Now I can enhance my ultimate form even more." He opened the book and flipped through the pages until he came on a spell to turn a human into an impure demon. "Well at least holy water won't hurt me now or at least not as bad" He began doing the chant then stopped after ten minutes. Nothing happened. "I hate scams" He suddenly fell onto the floor as two large dragon wings sprouted out of his back. His skin looked the same but was as hard as dragon scales. His eyes turned solid white and his teeth grew and became extremely sharp. "Damn this hurts" After the pain stopped, he noticed that he had sharp claws as well and he could breathe a fire of pure darkness. "At least I allready know how to fly. Time to track them down" He flew off into the setting sun following their trail easily

Chrys had her eyes closed much of the entire time, scared out of her mind although the last one to ever admit it. When they had finally reached the inside of the dark city well enough to start sneaking around, she had to stand still for a few minutes to readjust herself. Her lungs were burning, and she was a little dizzy. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"I'm following you from here on out,"[/COLOR] she said to Emilio knowing full well she'd get lost in a second glancing around at the buildings around them. [I]'Wait a minute?is that?no?is it?'[/I] [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Hey Emilio?is that...Sarin's presence closing in on us? It's different, warped, but the core's the same,"[/COLOR] she hissed quietly while looking up at the sky.

[Starwind]

Emilio looked ot the sky as well "Yep, no doubt about it. Damn, if they attack the town will be defensless. I hope Amer had the good sense to stay theer and look over them."

Chrys looked to Emilio "Do you think they've deployed yet?"

Emilio shook his head "There's no way to be sure. We came in the back door, they could have just as easily gone out the front at the same time."

She nodded to him "Guess we can only hope."

Emilio nodded and they ducked through the alley ways. Emilio stopped and pointed to the monolithic tower standing in the heart of the great city, not more then a hundred yards from them "That's the empirial tower there. If Achilles and Gale are to be found anywhere, they'll be there."

Chrys nodded "Well let's make our move."

She started to move up and Emilio put his hand out to block her "We can't."

She looked to him "Why not!?"

Emilio turned his head to the left and looked to the roof of the adjacent building "Because we've been spotted."

Atop the building stood the enigmatic, Kami waiting for them with a warm smile spread across her face "I'm glad to see you return, though your company is of a questionable nature."

Chrys responed with anger "What the hell is that suppose to mean you crazy bitch."

Kami smiled "Come now, your still not up to full yet. In an arial battle you could never beat me."

Emilio pushed her back and whisperd to her "On the opposite side of the tower. Just above it, about thirty feet, is a small hatch. It'll take you right to the top with little trouble. Go to it, I'll deal with her."

Chrys hesitated for a moment adn Emilio continued "If those two are up there, then they need you more right now then I do. Just go to them. This is personal, if you don't mind."

Chrys nodded and left them to there own devices. Emilio looked up to her "Looks like this will be our last chance to settle this little matter of ours."

Kami smiled "I told you. It was just a matter of time."

She spoke with such glee, it was hard to tell if she was happy or just insane. She put her hand forward and drew from the cool wind a long sword worthy of the name the sky blade. She pointed the tip to Emilio "The troops are on there way. You have only a few hours before your precious town is nothing but a memory. Our soilders will leave nothing, not even the dust."

Emilio set his hand to the ground and seeping out of the concrete came water "Remember, you precious city has a sewer. So here I have all the water I need."

"And so does your father."

Emilio cringed for a moment, hoping Chrys wouldn't find him. He drew a sarated chain and began to twirl it "Let's do this thing."

He swung the chain and cut the corner of the roof where she once stood off the of the building.

Kami was to quick to take to the air, but this was not to say Emilio was slow to go after her. He used the propulsion of the water and drove himself high into the air and made another swin at her as she duck to the right. Then the left, down, up, right, left, left, right. His swings becoming faster and more powerful as he built momentum. He cracked his whip one more time and finally met her sword in a lock.

She dropped it and it disappeared seconds after leaving her grasp. She then drew a long arm spear and charged in for the attack. Emilio turned his chain to a heavy gauntlet and caught the tip of the spear and held it away from his chest. She had made a go for his heart.

Emilio chuckled "Trying to break my heart for a second time?"

"Of course not. I'm trying to find out what your heart is still beating for."

She pulled free and the spear disappeared as the sword did. This time she took a wan-dou and threw it at Emilio, who then used the forearm of his gauntlet to block the attack. Emilio smirked "You haven't wasted your time over these last few years."

[Lionheart]

[FONT=Arial] Gale backed away, still in awe at his father's appearance. It's been almost 10 years since he last saw him and he still looked the same.
"My son...It's been too long." His voice was deep, yet it was gentle at the same time. Gale snapped, remembering his manners. He got on one knee, bowing to his father.
"Rise my son, I am not a king no more. You are." Gale looked up, still spaced at about meeting him.
"I haven't much time, so I'll make this quick." He dug into his giant black coat and brought out a gem with a golden aura around it.
"This is the power of Fujin. Unlike the sacred stone, this gem increases your speed,power,stamina, and wisdom only if you know how to use it. It is hard to unlock its powers my son. It will though come in handly." Gale let his father drop it in his hands.
"I best be going."
"Father." Gale gave him a hug, the only thing he could think of. His father smiled as he began to glow.
"Take care. Keep your friends close." He vanished as he and the old woman was left alone. Gale stared at the gem and squeezed it.
"I hope that kappa brings me back, because when I return. I'll finish the war once and for all!" He took out his sword and continued his training.[/FONT]

[Darth Vectis]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles relaxed in his cell, tuning out the fact he was sitting in this terrible place. The only thing that was on his mind was peace and tranquility, that was waited for him at the end of this war. In the first in who knows how long Achilles was in a perfect world. No more fighitng, no more killing, no more sleepless night waiting for the enemy. Only a house in the deep forest when he could live out the rest of his days. He only had to kill one more person before this was over. Dredick.

Achilles awoke from his trance and stood up, he had stayed in the cell long enough. He stood up and rolled his neck. The poping of his neck echoed through his cell. He opened his hand and held it out, a flahs of pure light apperared and took a shape. The light faded and Dreadnaught was in his hand. He smiled and looked through the hole in the door with metal bars. He saw two guards standing by the doors, Achilles back away from the door and looked at Dreadnaught.

"I wonder."[/B] Achilles grabbed Dreadnaught with both hands and pulled it apart. Dreadnaught split into to sperate swords. Both were full and and identical to the other.

"Nice."[/B] Achilles walked back to the door and queitly put his arms throught the bars. He held the swords in a stabbing position. He quickly stabbed them both in the neck and they crumbled to the ground. He pulled his arms back in and stabbed both swords into the door. He used them to cut through the wooden door. Cutting a big enough hole for him to walk out of.

A few moments later he finished his hole and stepped out. He looked down the dark hallway that was dimly lit by the torches on the wall. He started to walk down the hall when he heard something moving. He instantly ran up the wall and used both of his feet to hold him. The corridor was small enough where Achilles could do this. He held both his blades close to him.

He saw the figuer in the corridor, hard to see from the poor light so he stayed in his position. The figuer drew closer and he waited. The figuer had just passed him and was at his cell door. He dropped to thr gound silently and put both blades on the persons throat.

"Don't move."[/B] He suddenly felt feathers and he pulled his blades away. The figuer turned around and show it was Chrys, he wings were held close to her body and Achilles was happy to see her. He fused the two blades back together and and sheathed Dreadnaught. He hugged her.

[FONT=Arial]Gale was now quicker with his sword now. His training became more intense as he pushed himself harder. He jumped into the air, pretending that he was facing Dredick again.
"Made Dance!!" With one thrust to the ground, a great Explosion erupted as Gale fell to the ground. He felt like he was working out for acouple of hours.
"It seems your close friends met up finally. Gale left his sword and crawled to the crystal ball. There he saw Chrys and Achilles embracing each other. Gale smiled as his friends where together again, but he frowned to see that he couldn't be with them. He turned away from the ball and stared at the white sky.
"...Are they strong enough?"
"Who knows? The state you left Dredick in, it might be possible." Gale turned back to the ball.
"Show me Emilio." The ball brighten and showed the kappa fighting the one with Dredick. Kami, was it?
"Your smart, Grandma. How am I able to return to the living world?" She looked down at the ground, a shadow shadening her face.
"I don't think you made the right decision gving it to him."
"Why?" Gale got closer to hear her answer.
"The only way you can be brought back is by him unlashing his anger and let peace flow through him. He must change his heart from black to pure and the stone will activate. If you gave it to Chrys, then you would already be fighting Dredick right now." Gale's jaw flopped open.
"Holy shit."[/FONT]

[Deadpool]

Sarin smiled as the dark army aproached him. He kept his wings close to his body. The lead soldier raised his hand as the force came to a halt. "Who goes there?"

Sarin began to laugh. "Darkness can be the greatest enemy sometimes can't it. Can't tell if it is freind or foe. It allows people to come up on you without warning. And it plays tricks with your eyes when you are afraid" His wings spread out as the area around him became pitch black as he drew his sword. "Now die"

[Starwind]

The air seemed to prick like needles, Emilio bored through the air like a spear while Kami danced like a feather. Emilio wore a heavy guantlet, while she danced with a light flail. Emilio fixed his gaze on her[B] "This'll be where we put our problems to rest. Here in my fathers blood STREETS!"[/B]

Emilio dropped to slam Kami with his fist, as she danced around him. he quickly corrected and his stance and kicked her across the face as he plummeted to the earth. He caught himself on the roof of a building, and looked to Kami as she rubbed her cheeck [B]"I've missed this Emilio. I truly have."[/B]

She cast her warm smile down to him and he returned it to her. Kami then dropped from the air like a bomb, her once elegant flail was now a heavy spined sheild. She intended to crush him where he stood. Emilio put up his guantlet and jumped straight for her [B]"IS THIS HOW YOU WANT IT TO END KAMI!?"[/B]

He yelled as the two met with there weapons. In what seemed an eternity, but actually happend in an instant, the sheild shatterd as Emilio hurrdled at her with such force. The look on Kamis face, still not one of anger or fear, but serenity. The wind ringed as he drove his fist through he stomach [B]"Goodbye, my love."[/B]

Emilio came crashing back to the earth, Kamis body still hanging from his arm. He let her drop off him, he then bent down and picked her up and cradled her in his arms. His eyes seemed more sad then proud. She had let him win, she never could have lost like that unless she wanted to. Emilio looked to her oddly peaceful face and kissed her forehead [B]"Goodbye Kamilla"[/B]

This was the first moment of peace and civility he had felt in almost eight years. He held her body close to him, it was then that the stone given to him by Gale began to glow a vibrant and pure light.

Chrys tried to manage a stern look through her smile, happy to see Achilles was all right.[COLOR=DarkOrchid] "You're an idiot running here by yourself?"[/COLOR] she couldn't keep the straight face and gave up the attempt. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"But I'm glad you're ok. Something's different about you though?"

"I'm fully merged with Dreadnaught, and in complete control," [/COLOR] he said. Chrysanthema grinned, and gave her friend a pat on the back. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Glad to hear it. You haven't seen Gale have you?"[/COLOR] Achilles just shook his head. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"I thought he was back there with you."[/COLOR]

Chrys shook her head and looked down the hall at a mess of rubble and opened her mouth to speak. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"No, he ran off shortly after you-" [/COLOR] she was cut short by the sound of calm footsteps growing nearer and a dark shadow blocking the former view. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Your friend, Lord Gale, sacrificed himself in an attempt to kill me," [/COLOR] the figure chuckled. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"You might as well give up, I've already won."[/COLOR]
