[Deadpool]

Sarinn watched from a rook top. "Need another hand" He jumped as he changed into a large creatured that was the color of stone with a large horn on its snout. It had a big fin going down its back and walked like a gorilla. When he landed he made craters underneath him from the wieght.

[I]'Crap.'[/I] Chrysanthema gasped as she stood in the middle of a street, witness to the fight at hand. One hand covered her mouth; she just had to go see what was going in, didn't she. [I]'Dammit'[/I]

She rushed over and seeing Achilles' wound reopened, decided she was getting him out of there to a doctor. Times like this she really wished for a little medical background. Standing a moment next to Emilio, she looked at the woman. Something inside her really wanted to jump in? [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Girlfriend?"

"Back off," [/COLOR] the woman threatened everyone who had shown up. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"This is between Emilio and I."[/COLOR]

Chrys ignored the woman but had no idea what Sarin would be thinking at the moment. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Come on Achilles, let's get you out of here." [/COLOR] She brought him to the medical office down the street. Convenient. Leaving her friend in the capable hands of the doctors, she was ushered back out by a nurse who said he needed his rest.

Chrys looked back at the three, then walked calmly closer.

Amer gritted his teeth to the sound of the noise outside his room. "Those idiots. Why the hell can't they keep it down for once?" He stood up, anger burning holes in his eyes. He threw the door to his room open and walked outside.

"Brother, looks like the Kappa and Achilles need a little hand. Care to help?" Sarin asked, turning to Amer.

"I'll do more than help." Amer spat as he looked at Emilio. "You stupid little kappa. Why the hell are you having so much trouble with this little girl, yet you talk so much shit over the period. And to think, you wanted to fight that little fire demon." Amer spat on the ground next to Emilio and then turned to the woman that they were fighting.

"Amer, that was uncalled for. You had no right to say such things." Sarin said, coming up next to him.

"Just stay out of my way." Amer growled as he began to turn into a giant dog like creature. Two horns grew out of its head and he began to grow a yellow fur with black streaks in it. He began to grow fangs that were about a foot in length, then claws that were about the same size.

"Amer, don't do it. REmember what happened last time, you nearly killed someone." Sarin said taking a step back. "Emilio, I would suggest you take a couple of steps back."

"You stupid wench, I was trying to sleep." Amer growled as small static bolts began to form off of his body.

[Starwind]

Emilio looked to Amer "You stay out of this all of you. I don't want or need your help. She's mine!" Emilio walked passed the massive surging beast that was Amer without a glance, he took a place right in her line of sight "I'm going to kill you, Kamilla." Emilio formed his chains to a giant sword and leaped to the air, headed right for her.She moved lightly to the right and cleared his swing , he corrected his swing and managed to slice her dress. She floated back and set down on the roof of a near by building "It's nice to see you've made some friends Emilio. I really am happy your not alone." She smiled warmly and softly "Our problems are better not solved in front of them, I'll see you soon." Witha wave of her delicate hand a powerful gale wind came up and when the wind subsided she was no where to seen, he couldn't even sense her presense anymore. Emilio jumped down tot he ground where the others were, they all looked to him like they wanted him to explain. He looked to all of them for a moment then walked away. He left through the same dark alley from where Achilles had come and headed off into the darkness. He walked off clutching the wound he had recieved from Kami. The bleeding still wouldn't stop, what was it she had done to her blade. She was teh same girl she was when they first met, and he still couldn't forget her. He reached back and felt the his right shoulder blade, he could still feel the deep scar she left him. He walked til he reached a the end of the alley, he then slumped down and sat on the ground. He closed his eyes and dozed off. He would spend the night haunted of her image and memories of a past that wouldn't die.

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"I'm gonna check on Achilles." [/COLOR] Chrys decided to go sit outside the medical office until the nurse would at least let her visit or Achilles decided to walk out of the office. She had a bit of history with the medical profession that wasn't too pretty?apparently some of the stuff they were using on her last time was flammable. Oops.

Glancing in the one direction, she spotted Emillio. She probably should just let him be, but then again?the girl scribbled on a piece of parchment paper using one of the buildings as a writing surface.

[INDENT][COLOR=DarkOrchid][I]Just an idea, get that wound looked at. Would've taken you to the doctor myself, but didn't wanna wake ya and they don't really like me as it is. Should probably apologize for everyone, shouldn't have tried to help out like that without at least asking first. If ya wanna talk, you know where to find people. Careful not to make too much noise, she dropped the note next to the dozing Kappa before sitting on the bottom step of the medical place.

Emilio woke and looked up to the sky, it was still dark, he was having trouble sleeping. He sat up and looked to his side and saw a small piece of partchment next to him, obviously set there diliberatly. He picked it up and saw it was a note from Chrys, she advised him to get his wounds checked. He stopped and thought on that for a second and looked to his ribs, the blood had finally stopped flowing. It wasn't any thing to be too concerned about. He read on and noticed she had apologized for butting in. She also said she would be willing to listen if he wanted to talk. This wasn't comfortable for him, noone had treated him like this in years, not since her, not since Kami. He hung his head and thought about it for a moment and decided to go to her, they deserved to know since now it was only going to get worse. He got up from his lum position in the dark alley and headed off back to the main street. He stepped out and saw Chrys still sitting on the first step of the medical office. He walked over to her and sat next to her, she looked at him without saying anything. Emilio swallowed hard "I'm sorry if this was an inconvinence to you and the others. I suppose you should get to hear the truth about that woman." He stopped again and looked to the ground then turned to face Chrys "Her name is Kamilla Strouton, she's a powerful wind sorecress. About five years ago is when we first met. She worked with a local shrine as a guardian, she chased off my kind from it. One day I happend along her shrine, I had been badly injured in a battle against my father, but that's a story for another time. Anyway, I wonderd to her shrine and fell to the ground at her feet. I was every bit as arrogant then as I am now and even on the brink of death I refused to ask for her help. Despite what I was and how crude and rude I was she took me in and treated the wounds that I had sustained. I treated her like an uninvited guest and tried to push her away from me at every turn, yet she never stopped. I finally felt well enough to leave after only a week and I quickly left in the middle of the night and didn't bother to say goodbye. It was sometime after that I found myself yurning to see her again. So, despite the possible danger, I went back to the village. I followed her around like a stalker, always watching her. One day some random demon attacked the shrine. Her life was in danger so I put myself in the way and dispatched the beast with ease. She allowed me to stay at the shrine, I of course showed a great deal of indifference. I stayed in that place for almost six months, it was about this time that I asked her to come with me. I had decided to leave and I wanted her to come. After almost a year of asking she she finally agreed and came with me. She took on a life as a mercenary like myself and we were really very good at what we do. Her skills were considerable and getting better constantly. We were drawn together, though we should have despised each other. As many things our relationship progressed til it reached a pinikle. We became lovers. About two years ago is when it all went to hell. We awere on a new mission, it wasn't any different than any other. I was on my way up the northern mountains to assasinate some occult leader. When I reached the top I found a small shelter, not even worthy of being called a shrine. I walked in and found an old man sitting in the middle of the room. I approached the old man and gave him his ordinance, leting him know that he was about to die. I rose my blade and prepared the strike, when I felt an intense burning in my back. I fell to the ground and looked ahead, the old man was laughing. I saw a pair of feet walk passed my face and head toward the old man. As they went further away I saw they were the legs of Kami. She took her place next the old man. As it turns out she had been hired under the table by him to kill me. She leaned next to me, apologized, then left me for dead atop that mountain. That's what happend, that's why I work alone."

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"So sorry..."[/COLOR] Chrys said quietly. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"I assume it would be appropriate to say something along this lines of 'I understand what your going though, everything'll be fine' or something such."[/COLOR] She looked the Kappa in the eyes before glancing across the street in an effort to bring out a memory she was searching through. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"However, I can't. I wish I could, I really do. But to offer any words of comfort that I don't know to be true would be worse." [/COLOR] Any story she could share tell about her life in return wouldn?t fit for the situation.

It was quiet for a moment. Chrysanthema took a deep breath and swallowed. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Do you still care for her, this Kamilla?" [/COLOR] She immediately looked at her feet. Maybe it was too personal a question.

[Starwind]

Emilio looked to the ground and sighed "maybe I do? Maybe tha's the reason I couldn't kill her when I had the chance." He was quiet again then rose to his feet "Well, thanks for listening. I guess confession really is good for the soul." He turned his back to her "I think I'll sleep outise the city tonight, that way if she comes again you won't have to worry about it. Ya know, I promised myself, when I was bleeding and suffering atop that frigid mountain, that I would kill her myself some day, now I don't know if I really can. But I'm going to try." He walked to the gate to the city without another word, he let his head hang, still ashamed of himself for letting his emtions get in the way again.

[Darth Vectis]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles stood in his dream, a little off balance by what was going on but still aware of what he was doing. He looked around, he saw a wasteland covered in darkness, and A moment later he heard a sinster laugh from his left

He looked to his left first to find a figuer in all black, a wicked grin spread across it's face. It had wicked sharp fangs that replaced its canines, burning red eyes shown through the darkness, black hair feel to mid-back, black armor covered its exposed skin. Its fingers were clawed tipped with the black armor. It slowly walked towards Achilles. Achilles ready himself, remembering then that he had no weapon or shield. He stood ready, the figuer stopped about two feet away from Achilles. Achilles growled.

"Who are you?"[/B] The figuer laughed lightly.

[B]"I'm someone you killed years ago, well. You killed me unintentionablly, but killed me none the less."[/B] Achilles rasied one eye brow to the figuer.

[B]"What are you talking about?" [/B]The figuer looked at Achilles with its red eyes.

[B]"Achilles think back to how you achieved your incredible speed, reflexs, and the knowledge of humanoids weak points."[/B] The figuer said as it slowly circled around Achilles, Achilles though about it.

[B]"Truthfully, I don't know how I gained any of it. I was always told it was natural abilitys and a knowledge taught to me by an unknown soruce."[/B] The figuer chuckled.
[B]
"Did you ever really believe that?"[/B] Achilles stood firm, watching the figuer move around him.
[B]
"No, never really did. But never thought anything else could be true."[/B] The figuer stopped in front of Achilles face.
[B]
"Your speed, and knowledge came from me. I was the unknow source for what you know. As a child I would probe your mind and leave information in your brain. Everytime I would leave a bigger and bigger chunk of the knowledge, when you were about 10 you knew everything I did. But to make sure you did recieve it all I probed one last time, that was my downfall. Instead of being able to pull myself out, you sucked me in, I then became a part of your body. I was never strong, but I was increiblly fast and my reflexs were great amongst all."[/B] He then started tapping Achilles on his forehead with two fingers.

"And you have only accessed a small piece of my abilitys."[/B] The figuer turned around and took a few steps away and sighed.[B]

"And after I heard that Kappa talking to you like you were nothing and seeing you get beat down by that wind sorceress. So I saw it as a time to intervien and show you the full extent of my speed."

"What if I don't want to learn anymore skills? What if I think I am fine the way I am?"[/B] The figuer turned and faced Achilles.
[B]
"But I know since you are a warrior you are constantly bettering yourself."[/B] Achilles sighed.
[B]
"Fine, teach me what you can." [/B]The figuer waved his hand towards Achilles.
[B]
"Later. Right now you must wake up."[/B] Achilles suddenly woke from his sleep, a hand touched his amr and he reach out and grabbed a throat. He had a snarl on his face, then he saw it was just a nurse and let her go.

"My apoligize, my reflexs reacted."[/B] He stood up and found he was standing only his under garments. He looked around and found his armor and clothes hanging from a hook. He snatched them up and dressed and rolled his shoulders and walked out, finding Chrys sitting on the steps. He sat down beside her and took a deep breath, relaxing with the cool air flowing through his lungs.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Chrys looked over at Achilles as he sat down. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Hey," [/COLOR] she greeted casually. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Past come back to haunt you?"

"What makes you say that?" [/COLOR] He asked.

The girl started to almost ramble a bit. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Well, I got the feeling that something might have been bothering you and since everyone's pasts seem to be coming back full speed lately-"[/COLOR] she stopped short, taking a breath of air. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"?Never mind."[/COLOR]

Chrys almost shivered slightly, the night had dropped below her normal comfort zone temperature wise. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Sarin mentioned earlier that he reserved rooms at an Inn," [/COLOR] she stated on the off chance he was thinking about sleeping arrangements.

[Starwind]

Emilio walked out of the gates slowly and looked to the stary sky above him, his eyes seeming glazed and empty. He marched through the feild of grass, trapped in his own mind. He had actually hoped his pat would have stayed dead, but now it was all to real once again. He walked to the spot where he had been meditating earlier, figured this was as good a place as any. He sat on the gound and let the wind blow through his hair. He could hear her voice whispering to him in the wind, she could be anywhere. She spoke to him softly, as if trying to comfort him in his pain. There was a light sunder in the grass and Emilio turned to see Kami walkig to him. It was the same scene as the room. She walked up to him as he sat on the ground and she put her arms around him. This time however, instead of attacking she sat next to him and set her head on his shoulder. She nesseld close to him "I wish things hadn't changed. I wish it could be the way it use to be." emilio turned his head to look to her "Then why did you do it?" She was quiet for a moment "Sometimes things are more complicated then that." emlio looked to the sky again "I trusted you. I believed in you. I even loved you, how could you just do that and leave me to die alone." She went silent again, then she kissed his cheek. She stood up and went in front of Emilio. She flicked her hair back then pushed him down to his back. She layed down on top of him and wraped her arms around him "I love you, you know that right." She started to kiss him lightly and set her head on his chest. emilio felt hiself at peace, in a way he hadn't known in years. He put his arms around her and fell asleep in that feild clutching her close to him. He knew that when he woke she would be gone again, but in this moment he could fell alright. In the morning she would be after his life again, but til then he woul hold on to her like he once did.

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles took a deep breath and patted Chrys on the shoulder.

"Somewhere to sleep sounds good right about now."[/B] Achilles rolled his neck and stood up.

"Now if we knew which Inn he was talking about."[/B] Chrys chuckled lightly, Achilles turned to her and held his hand out. Chrys looks at it then grabbed it, he pulled her up and she looked at him with a smile.

"Achilles being a gentlemen. Theres something new."[/B] Achilles shook his head with a smile on his face.

"I have many hidden traits."[/B] Achilles gestuer with his arm for them to walk down the street.

"Shall we?"[/B] Chrys laughed then punched Achilles in the arm, he laughed too adn they both walked down the street. Chrys looked at Achilles, Achilles caught her staring.

"What?"[/B] She shook her head.
[B]
"Nothing."

"No what is it?"

"Well, it's just weird to see you actually be social and actually talk. It just weird." [/B]Achilles chuckled.

"Well war does have that effect on a man. And to answer your question about my past, I'm not quite sure."[/B] Chrys looked at him questionable.

[B]"Not sure?"

"Yes, not sure. I don't remember much about my past so I'm not sure if it was true or just a dream."[/B] Chrys huffed.

"Well, you'll find out in due time. Now lets go find that Inn."[/B] Achilles chuckled.

[B]"Alright lets go."[/B][/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Deadpool]

"Inn's the other way" Sarin came out from a dark alley next to them making their hands fly apart and both trying to act natural. He smiled as Chrys began to get on to him.

"How long have you been hiding?"

"Actually I wasn't hiding, I was in plain sight, you never noticed me. Makes me fell sad" Sarin pretended to cry, making Achilles smile and Chrys becoming more flustered at being caught off guard so easily.

"Well, why didn't you tell me where the inn was?"

"Never asked" He smiled as she raised her arm as if to hit him then stormed off leaving Achilles and Sarin laughing. "Looks like I am going to be in trouble tonight"

About a full block away, Chrys stopped dead in her tracks. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"I'm such an idiot?" [/COLOR] She muttered to herself. She crossed her arms briefly with a small childish pout. [I]'I guess I should?no.' [/I] Stubbornness wins out again.

Looking around first, the girl flew off to go find a nice rooftop with a good view of the city. Locating the perfect spot, Chrysanthema sat on the ledge with one foot hanging over the side. She leaned back on the tiles staring at the night sky. With a yawn the demon closed her eyes, content with a bit of sleep. At least then she wouldn't be worrying about the chill. A small shiver disturbed her just before dozing off, but Chrys paid it no notice.

[Starwind]

When Emilio finally awoke he found things much the way he expected, Kami was already gone and he lay alone in the open field. He looked down to his right hand to see a crystal hair clip in the form of a rose. He had given this to Kami as a gift, this was her way of saying that this was the begining of the end. Emilio sat up and started to think to himself again. He realized how stupid it was for him to fall asleep in an open field like that, what if someone had attacked him. Whatever, it was over now. He looked up towards the city and thought to get the others, but was unsure if they'd still want to be traveling with him now that such a dangerous force sought his life. He decided to stand by the gate and wait for them to come out, he would address the issue then.

[Deadpool]

Sarin laughed as he came over the wall. "Did you enjoy yourself?"

"Do you ever sleep?"

"Sometimes. If I have nothing better to do" He smiled at the strange look Emillo was giving him. "Yes I sleep, but i only need to for a couple of hours"

"Makes sense"

"So tell me about your problem"

[Starwind]

Emilio hesistated for a second then began to tell Sarin the whole story, about him and Kami and what was happening now. Sarin stopped for a minute "I'm sorry to hear that man." Emilio bobbed his head lightly "Anyway, there's no need for the rest of you to be in danger against your will. If you want I'll leave and I won't protest to whatever reason you give." Sarin stopped and looked at him oddly "So you'd give up like that? Without even a fight. That's just sad bro." Emilio looked up to Sarin "I don't plan on giving up. I just won't put you guys in danger if you feel it's inaproprate to continue with you. If you feel I'd be a hinderance." They stood in silence for a moment.

[Deadpool]

"Too bad there is no way you are getting rid of me. I may not always be next to you but I will be able to find you easily" Sarin produce three vials containing a dark substance. "This is pure darkness so be careful with it. Throw it on the ground when you need my help and I will be able to lacate you and appear there." He looked up at the sky. "I have to stop that army first, it wouldn't be that hard for me, but me and Amer are restricted to the amount of power we can use."

[Kuroshin13]

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"There's no reason for you leave the group Emilio. I'm here for ya too."[/COLOR] Chrys grinned as the boys looked up at her now perched on the wall. [COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Good morning everyone."

"Morning."
"Morning."

"You knew I was here didn't you,"[/COLOR] Chrysanthema asked Sarin.
[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Yea,"[/COLOR] Sarin said.

Chys' face fell a bit, and her new look caused the boys to to laugh. She shrugged it off and figured to just drop it.

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"What was that all about?"[/COLOR] Emillio asked a tad confused.
[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"I figured to pay Sarin back for last night, but failed miserably."[/COLOR]

Amer walked out of the gates with a slight tick in his eye. He kept flinching it. This normally happens when he calls of the spirit of lightning. That is why he only calls on it in dire situations.

"Amer, how nice of you to join us. I start agian?" Sarin asked, a smile on his face.

"Yes, it always does. So, did you end up killing that stupid girl or not?" Amr asked, turning to Emilio.

"No, I have not. Why do you care of all people? I can understand Sarin, somewhat, and Chrys, but not you." Emilio stated.

Amer sighed as he walked past Sarin and twards the gate walls. "Its strange really. These gates are strong. They are used to keep all of the world out of this city. It is used to keep the evil out, and the good in. Even if the evil getting in, is more good than the good within." Amer smiled as he turned to Emilio.

"Well Amer. I do not think I have ever heard you sound so smart. Its scary really." Sarin said as he began to laugh.

"What happened to the blood lust?" Chrys asked as she too began to laugh.

"It is still there, but he must realize that the wall he puts up may be keeping the good out, as well as the evil." Amer said, a little annoyed.

Amer looked around then smiled. Slowly he began to change into a small eagle like creature. He let out a caw, then took off over the city.

[Deadpool]

"Good to see, he is actually letting himself be more outgoing. That is a rare sight even if you have known him for half as long as I have" Sarin turned to Chrys. "Maybe if you keep trying, you just might catc me off guard." He made a bow as Gale and Achilles came out. "So where are we off to next. Emillo here has something to say, probably due to the fact he might not be traveling with us all the time"

[Starwind]

Emilio sighed "Well, just know that if things get out of control I might have to ditch you guys to deal with it. You understand." The others nodded to him and he nodded back. He wouldn't admit to this, but he was glad to see they were willing to bare with him during this time of dire straights. Emlilo dturned his nose to the air and breathed deep "Hey Sarin, Do you dmell gun powder. Your nose is better then mine." Sarin did the same and breathed deep "Yep that's definitly gun powder and oil. It seems the dark army is on the move again." Chrys stepped forward "Ten to one bet says there on there way here." Emlilo smirked "Yeah, but this time were ready for them. Remember I said something about fighting dirtier, well this is it. Since we know there coming we can ambush them before they get here." Emilio looked back to Gale and Achilles "You two are more of army leaders, let we demons deal with the under handed stuff. Prepare a blockade for the ones who manage to get by." Sarin jumped in "You mean, IF any get by." Emilio chuckled "Well, lets get to work." The three demons still present took off using there resective modes of transport. Chrys took to the skys as Sarin dissappeared in the shadows and Emilio dissappeared into the water.

Chrys took a birds-eye surveillance of the approaching numbers, trying not to alert them to her presence. Yet. It looked like were bringing in more of those giant machines that almost shot her head off last time. [I]'I guess those will have to go first,'[/I] she thought while staying behind a line of trees, attempting to sneak around toward the back without crashing.

They would never know what hit them. A grin spread on her face at the thought of a little score settling. Hovering behind the large group in the center of the road Chrysanthema poised herself for a quick strike. Concentrating as much energy as she dared into her blade, the girl dived at an angle at one of the giant cannons. Her strike was lucky, apparently she found the oil tank?Some of it sprayed all over the place, a little bit getting on Chrys' clothes. [I]'That'll take forever to get out.' [/I]Knocking down a few of the soldiers alarmed at the sudden leak she backed off a few feet, careful not to get hit with anything.

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Fire Scourge."[/COLOR] A few of them went up in flames, along with the cannon. It was a very entertaining explosion.

Amer stopped on the top of a building and turned back to the gate. He sighed as he heard an explosion, then saw a cloud of black smoke come over the horrizon.

"Dammit. Starting the fight without me. Why I otta." He cursed under his breath as he chacged back into his nine-tailed fox, then began to run down the street in record speed.

After about three of four minutes of running, he came to the blockaid that Gale and Achilles were making.

"So, it is the black army agian." Amer said, changing back to normal.

"Yes, I would suggest that you go help your brother." Achilles yelled over the noise of gunfire.

"No problem." He smirked as he dissapeared into the trees. He stopped next to a tree as two scouts came by. He looked down at his arm as it changed to an arm with a blade comming out of the elbow. He jumped out from behind the tree and quietly cut the scouts down.

"Now, where does my brother happen to be?" He looked around then noticed the smell of demons and humans combined.
