Howlingvampire4
I know a lot of people have heard of Shonen Jump, but does anyone here, besides me read Shojo Beat? My favorite manga in it is Absolute Boyfriend. lol, ok, well I was wonderin what's YOUR favorite manga in Shojo Beat, and what do you think of Shojo Beat. Also, does anyone here know if real mangas of the mangas in Shojo Beat are, or will come out? Thnx in advance. :animesmil
Hayama
Yup! Since Animerica died, they sent me a free copy of Shojo Beat. I read it and the subscription was pretty cheap so now i get it in the mail every month. I LOVE Absolute Boyfriend. I like Yuu Watase in general (good art, interesting plots, romance) so a new manga by her is great! I like the Baby and Me one too because its cute and being the oldest in my family, I feel the main character's pain when he's dealing with the baby. Oh, and I like Godchild because Cain is hot :catgirl: and I like how its sort of a blend of victorian CSI and horror stories. I skim read the others. The samurai-ish one and the volley ball one are okay, but the art in both doesn't suit my tastes and the plots bore me a little. The only one i really don't like is Nana... too much drama. :animestun LOL
Guest kunoichi
I've heard of Shojo Beat, but I haven't been able to find it in my area. It doesn't really help that I live in virtually the middle of nowhere (even though I'm about to move...), of course, but still. Anybody know a place in Colombus, GA or Clarksville, TN that sells it? O.o (I'm about to be living in Colombus, and I live pretty close to Clarksville now. Colombus is huge, from what I hear, but at least most of it is supposed to be accessible!) Hayama
For alot less money, you could subscribe on the VIZ website. That's what i did ^^ Although I suppose you would want to try it out first... I'll bet they have samples on the website.
Guest FuruChan
Shojo Beat is so satisfying for a shoujo lover like me~. :D I like the articles and others things in it as well. I want to subscribe to it since I have to go all the way to Augusta to get it. Maybe when my Shonen Jump subscription is over which I hope is very soon.
