Ozymandius Jones
Since my last thread has passed into the oblivion long ago, I have decided to create a new one to be updated...eh....mostly when I have time. Which, I warn you, is not often. Heh. The thread title is pretty much just due to my current obsession with old music, namely Genesis (The Lamb), the Beatles and Moody Blues (The Mods), and The Who (The Rockers). And me. Hee. So...first, pretty much, we have two images, both formerly just scans that I have modified: The Kids are Alright: Pretty much just a random banner, although it is the right size for a header banner at LJ...hmm... Rael Splash And that's a splash I made for no apparent reason other than I like to make them. Your thoughts are appreciated...
Cyriel
The Kids Are Alright - The image you used is very good - all the colors and things make it seem like a wonderful collage - however, the quality of the image could be better. The lines behind the words reminds me of a musical staff, and I like it very much, although I wish that the small gaps in between the words were not there - it would look better if they were continuous lines. Also, the color of the text is not...the best, I don't think, but it is still able to work with the image as a whole. Rael Splash - Wow, I like this very muchly! ^_^ The overall feel of the piece is very...original, I think, and very attractive as well. The font fits, and is acceptable, and the color scheme is very nicely done as well - I've always been a fan of b&w/grayscale. There are a few discrepancies that I noticed, like the little dark marks in the white space around the standing man's elbow, and there's a white spot that breaks the line of his skin around his right wrist as well. In the upper right-hand corner of the picture there seems to be a miniscule amount missing, but it's barely noticeable. And are the white lines outlining the man's pants intentional? Anyway, overall it's a very nice piece of work, and I applaud you! yay! ^__^
