I've heard it on the radio and I've seen it in the papers everywhere I've gone.

Apparently, it's unofficial, but it's still making big news. What does everyone think of the latest guy to be rumoured to be the next James Bond?

It's certainly not the most flattering picture of the guy. I'm hoping it's just a bad picture of him, because I can't imagine that look as James Bond. If Lazenby was a stretch because he looked almost Hispanic at times...what's a big-eared blonde guy going to be like? I'm not worried, necessarily, because if he can do the role, fantastic, and they can do make-up and such if need be, but...yeah.

Well if it is true that Craig is the new James Bond then I'd be interested to see where he'll take the character in terms of style and development. Craig himself was one of the more recently dubbed "next Bonds" and I thought originally he was a pretty unlikely choice for the role, given his last film [B]Layer Cake[/B]. Still it's unofficial so until it is actually officially stated that he will be the next James Bond we are really only spit-balling. As I said in the last James Bond thread, it's not the Bond that matters, rather they really need to improve the scripts. I honestly wouldn't care if the next Bond was blind, lame and deaf so long as the script was able to compensate. [/SIZE]
