[FONT=Arial] He stared at hitomi as he rubbed his head. He thought he saw two.... was he seeing things? No.... the fog was gone. Another shadow assasin. He turned his attention to Hitomi.
"Going ot school i see."
"Shut up, Lee." Lee stuffed his hands in his pockets as a boy walked over.
"Hitomi, you alright?"
It was Noata, a guy from school. He ws a pretty good runner in track, not as fast as Lee was though.
"I see you have a boyfriend Hitomi...." Hitomi gave a akward, yet mean blush while Noata blushed easily. Gale burshed his hair from his eyes, it showed he hasn't gotten a hiarcut in along time.
"Whatever, see ya at school." It was weird to say that, for he wasn't planning on going, but he had to stay close to the guardians before he goes for the bossman's head.[/FONT]

" How the hell you leave me like that after all this.." Hitomi frowned " You treat me like the lowest shit on the face on this earth. I see you and you bassically brush me off. Can I at least get an explanation?What was that grin? Like why you came to my house yestarday?Why didn't you kill me? Why aren't controlled by you ancestor anymore?" Shun looked back and saw Tomoe standing in the door way. She looked at him and walked over to him "So weren't even going to say good morning?" she said witha smile. Shun felt unsure of himself again, but at the same time was so happy to see her standing in front of him. He felt like crying and so he looked down to the ground "I'm not going to school today, so you better hurry or you'll be late." She looked at him with surprise for a moment, then smiled again "Okay, then I'll keep you company." he tried to protest but she walked up to him and put her hand over his mouth "you shouldn't be alone right now." When she said this he felt like crying again. She put her arms around him "It's okay, if you have to cry." He stopped and let those words sink in. He fell to his knees and put his arms around her waist and began to cry. She put her nads on his shouders and knealt down to his level and she held his close.

Mailynn walked through the halls as people talked and pointed at her. It was just like old times again, so she didn't really care. Actually it made her laugh which made people stare even more. *Man this has been the wierdest weekend ever. I wander if Makai is coming to school today.*

Mailynn stopped at her locker and grabbed her math text book. *Last night was definitely crazy. Layla seemed really ticked...* She started to walk to her class when the principal grabbed her arm. "Mailynn we need to talk."

"What about? It isn't because I carry around a bat in my bag is it?"

"No..but we will talk about that later. I wanted to talk to you about your grades and...Makai."

Mailynn rolled her eye's and grunted.? I already know exactly what your going to say. The school thinks that I shouldn't be hanging around Makai because you think he's a bad influence, and you don't want me to ruin my chance at a scholarship. Trust me he won't make a difference if I get my softball scholarship or not. Plus he's nothing like people say he is...he's a nice guy."

The principal straightened his glasses and frowned. "Fine, but if you fail one class this semester...i'll make sure you don't get that scholarship."

"You can't do that!! If I get an F than I can still make it up!! You can't make sure I don't get it!!"

"Then I propose you get your life back on track....speaking of track there's a meeting after school, and I expect to see you there." The principal smirked and walked into his office.

Mailynn sighed and slid down the locker to the floor. "F*cking b*stard...it's not fair. This isn't my life anymore." She pulled her knee's up to her face and started to cry. Everything had finally sank in...this wasn't her life anymore. Her life is helping Layla...her life was helping Makai. She was practically his partner. At the same time Desu and Layla were enemies. She couldn't hold it in anymore....she needed someone to be there, or she would break down.

How did the shadow assasins know about the guardians? guess? no way.... someone was wprking for them that went to school. He had to find out who it was and fast. He heard footsteps....Hitomi. He quicky hid in the shadows as she jogged by. One more day and his past memories will be gone. One more day until he can join his parents...
"Now who could it be?" he whispered as he heard footsteps again. he stayed hidden, but couldn't hold the gasp as Noata was walking by. Wasn't he soppose to be in his clas already? what's he doing in the halls? Is he following Hitomi? He had a wicked grin over his face. He gasped even more. Rape!!! [COLOR=Plum][FONT=Century Gothic]Hitomi looked around. No one around at all. Hitomi sighed "CRAP! WHY DO I GET EASILY LOST!" Hitomi hit herself in the head. " Ugh i'm a fucking idiot..."
She looked around some more and no human life at all. Hitomi pouted and heard a small chuckles. She turned around only to find Naota was behind her
" Yo" Naota said with a smile
" Oh hey! You know where math class is? Crap i always late for math...i hate the teacher anyways.She dislikes me too. Yet she can't kick me out because I'm one of her best students! Hitomi ain't that stupid" Hitomi smiled
" Ohh i was meaning to ask..before we were interrupted by Lee ya know.."
" Hnn? who's Lee? Oh...ya him" Hitomi instaly frowned. She really didn't want to her his name.Of course she knew who he was but she was trying so hard to forget him. Ugh...she probaly had to hear the mouths of his fangirls in the halls anyways.
" I wanted to ask if you like to go out with me? I kinda liked you for sometime" Naota said scratching his head nervously. Hitomi just kinda stared at Naota. She didn't know what the hell to say. Yes would be good..but Lee. No SCREW LEE he can go to the far pits of hell. Only for her to find a way to bring him back. Hitomi now was worried she might be strucking by Lee's charm too much. Too much to even date a cute boy that liked her. Ugh what a awful day.

Makai walked through the halls, avoiding the teachers that were patrolling it. He didn't feel like going to his class, which really didn't matter to him, it was just an elective anyways. Ugh, why did he have to take PE? He got enough excerise outside of school, and besides, they wouldn't let him wrestle or box anymore because he was thought to be too voilent. Other sports bore him, so PE was just a waist of time.

Makai turned down one hall to see someone leaning against the lockers. Her head was in her knees, so Makai couldn't see who it was from this distance. As he got closer, he noticed it was Mailynn. And she was crying. Makai stopped and slid down next to her. She didn't move, whether she was ignoring him or just didn't hear him, Makai didn't know.

"Mailynn," he said softly. Her head jerked up, she was probably startled. She looked at Makai, tears streaking her face. "Mailynn, what's wrong?"

"The principle..." She told Makai about the princple and what he had said this morning. Makai sat there, silent, listening to every word. "and he's making me go to the track meet tonight," she finished

Makai took a deep breath and looked at Mailynn. He hated seeing her cry like this. "You know what, Mailynn, just go to the meet tonight. We'll show these assholes - I'll show up and cheer you on." Mailynn went to say something, but Makai stopped her. "And this good grades thing - no problem. Hell, I'll help you if you want. He just said no F's. Never said anything about C's or D's. But you could probably pull off B's and A's, so no sweat there."

"What about our ancestors, their pratically enemies. How can we be together with them at eachother's throats?" Mailynn asked.

"Mailynn, you need to understand something. Our ancestor's are just here to help us and guide us with their opinions. If we chose to listen to them or not, that's our choice. It's still our lives," Makai said. He looked down the hall and saw a teacher starting to come down it. "Shit, hall-Nazi. We better go. Come on Mailynn, let's get going." Makai stood there, waiting for her, praying to god that he had cheered her up and not made it worst.

Mailynn smiled as she wiped the tears from her eye's. She quickly stood up and hugged Makai tightly. "Your right. I shouldn't have been so stupid."

Mailynn frowned and playfully whacked him over the head. She kissed his neck and laughed a little. " You smell good. That might sound wierd wierd but it's true."

Mailynn looked at the teacher and quickly pulled Makai into the janitors closet. " Always take advantage of the cliché closet. It works every time.[I] She laughed a little and waited for the teacher to pass then tried to open the door[/I]. Until the door locks behind you."

Makai sighed and sat down. "This doesn't surprise me."

Mailynn sat down next to him and pulled out a couple apples from her bag. "Ya want one?"

"sure." He took the apple and took a bite the same time Mailynn did.

" Layla doesn't acually hate Desu as much as she just likes to annoy or battle him. I acually think they have a brother siter relationship. He hates her because she's annoying and she just loves to annoy him." Mailynn smiled and took another bite.

"That's kind of funny in a way. One's a profesional mercenary, the other's a trained assasin and they both go at each other like some 4-year-olds," Makai chuckled. Mailynn laughed too, but Desu gave him a sharp mental blow.

"Ah, shit," Makai muttered, holding his head a bit.

"What's wrong?" Mailynn asked.

"Desu's bitching - it hurts my head sometimes" Makai replied. He shook his head and the pain left it. Makai leaned over and draped his hand over Mailynn's shoulders. She smiled a bit and rested her head on Maiki's shoulder. "You know, this is kinda cool. We don't get to spend time together much - well not under normal cicumstances that is. But I dunno if you could call this normal..."

I know is stupid but I can't help it. He even lies straight to my face. Like today he lied i know because he has a silly nose twitch when he lies." Hitomi said and touched her the tip of her nose.
"Ohh Hitomi.." Naota said reaching to touch Hitomi's hair
"Ugh i have to go to class...very sorry Naota" Hitomi apoligize and ran toward to math class leaving Naota behinde.
Hitomi arrive in front of the door of math class. It was already open and the teacher was writing on the chalkboard. She turned around and say Hitomi. Her face was a instant frown.
" Ohh Miss Shiozu, nice to see you join us..." The teacher started
Hitomi leaned against the open door " 3...."
" This behivoir i do not accept. Your soppouse to come to class on time as everyone else.."

" Are you hearing me Hitomi? HITOMI?!?"
"1!" Hitomi said pionting outside as the bell rang saying next class.

[FONT=Arial] Lee went around the halls of the school as the bell rang. The morning was going by too slow. No one seemed to stop by and say hello to the former star athlete. He was a nobody, but why? His attiude towards everyone. Jin, his best friend came over.
"Dude thanks for the help acouple of days ago. That man came and started to fuck the place up. I like the all black clothing, way cool."
"No problem...' He didn't mean it, Because of that guy, his family was killed. Sifer, one of the shadow assassins.
"So got your eyes sight on the next girl?"
"No..." Lee was about to walk away, when his news hit him.
"Because I heard your ex is starting to get her old feelings for you back.' Lee froze. San? His ex girl that seemed to go for the street boys. Its been around 3 months.
"You talked to her?"
"Yep, she said she wants to met you somewhere. Should I say no?" Lee stared at the ground. This morning, it was going to be his last day on earth...now.
"Tell her I want to met her."
"Man, this will be great. you two getting bakc together. The whole school will know this!!" He dashed away leaving Lee staring at the ground.

Hitomi sat down on lunch table and started eating. The next periods were going to be a disaster. She already gone off on the wrong food today. Hitomi stabbed the mash potoes.Tomoe, Shin, Makia, and Mailynn started sitting down.
"You guess don't mind me sitting here right? Ya know..drag attention..." Makia said
"I don't care." Hitomi said emotionless stabbing her poteos. Everyone else looked at each other and looked back at Hitomi. Hitomi stared at them
"What do you want? What your staring at! I'm just freaking destroying potoes! IT AIN"T MY FAULT THAT JERK DUMPED MY ASS. LEFT ME AND HATES MY FREAKING EXISTIENCE. I FREAKING LOVE HIM SO MUCH I CAN"T DATE ANOTHER GUY! I CUTE ONE AT LEAST! UGH!" Hitomi yelled and everyone in the lunch room look at her. She got up and moved to another table.

[FONT=Arial] Lee looked at the many tables as it was lunch time. He stared coldly at the table as Hitomi walked away. Did he dare go and say hello? No, he had to make them the enemy so the shadow assassins would get confused on whos on whos team. Jin came from behind.
"She got the message, she'll met you behind the school in 10 mins." Lee kept staring at the table as his old friends/new enemies talked and laughed.
"Alright...Make sure no one knows we're over there. I don't want anybody around there."
"Your the boss."
Lee said nothing as he turned and walked towards the back of the school

He reached the back of the school that was covered in shadows. There stood San, her black hair reached to her waist. She blushed as she spotted me.
"Long time no see." Lee said as he got near.
"Yes, It has been along time..." She said bowing her head even more.[/FONT]

[COLOR=Plum][FONT=Century Gothic]Hitomi sat alone at lunch. Just spend time reading a book until lunch time was over. She saw Jin and Lee talking. She had a big urge to earsdrop. But her good will went over her and she didn't. She tucked her hair behinde her ear and stood up.
"Lunch time over..ugh..classes.." Hitomi huffed
Hitomi got out and school with glee
"YES OUT OF FUCKING SCHOOL! SCREW YOU TEACHERS AND PRINCEPLE ! YOU CAN ALL KISS MY A-" Hitomi said
" Hitomi you'll see them tommorow..." Tomoe intterupted
" Ohh..yeah.." Hitomi pouted " Okay I see ya. I want to go home and get a jump start of homework. The math teacher gave me extra for being late..that bitch.."
" Ohh okay see ya later..." Mailynn said. Tomoe and Mailynn walked the other way. Hitomi walked sipping a coke that she got from the vendine machine at school. She walked to a corner and saw Lee and his old girlfriend talk.
"Great...i just new it.." Hitomi whispered. She hide around the corner trying hard to listen to there coversation.
"What are we hiding from?" Naota whispered. He was already squated beside her
"AHH!" Hitomi yelled and covered her mouth "Don't scare me like that...you going to kill poor me.."
" Hehe just wanted to know why your hiding?"
Hitomi glanced around the corner " Nothing..nothing at all.." Hitomi sighed. Naota got up and help Hitomi up.
"Naota would you like to take me home? Don't feel like walking by myself.." Hitomi thought for a moment. That wasn't a very good idea since the stupid assisans were after Tomoe, Mailynn and her.
"Sure i love too.." Naota smiled. Oops too late to cancel.

"I just...missed you..." She rushed into his arms as Lee hold her. He didn't know how to feel. He never felt like this ever since....The day down town when he killed all those people. Should he deserve to die? He killed so many people and hurt his friends.
"I....missed you too.." Could he go back to living like a normal kid? Go back to the old Lee and forget about revenge? He could stay holding her forever... Visions of Hitomi crossed his mind. He tried to erase them, too much pain. To much severe in his mind. Must think about peace and San.
"Would you like to come over to my place? My parents are out..." Lee stared at her and nodded. They hold hands as they walked to her house. One problem, The house was next door to Hitomi's....Oh My...[/FONT]

" Ohh well thank you.." Naota said coming in. He sta down on the couch and looked around. Hitomi gave him a coke can and sat down next to him.

" Ya...my mother is a doctor and my father is a lawyer. Don't see them much though.." Hitomi said sipping her coke.

"No is nothing really.." Hitomi shook her head and laughed " I kinda like being alone! Been like this for most of my life. Is just how things go I guess."
"Wow..you not saying that for real. No one likes being alone not even people that been alone all there lives. Everybody wants someone to care for them and love them.."

Motioned somone to come in, Hitomi looked and saw it was Lee. Crap..I guess Lee's ex-girlfriend is his new girlfriend now.He looked kinda happy and content.She only wished she could of made him happy.San never had to bring him bandage up his wounds.San never ripped up her pajama just to soak up his blood. Yet San was beautiful just drop dead beautiful. If she wanted she could be a super model. Hitomi she felt like she made the ugly duckling look good. Hitomi deeply sighed and wished she could open up the ground and send San to the earth's core. Hitomi stared at Lee and her eyes were filled with tears not shed. If she did that it cause Lee great pain. She didn't want to do that again. She wanted him to be happy even if it caused her her own happiness.
"Something wrong Hitomi?" Naota said very worried
" Oh..just that...i think i just lost everything right now...i have nothing..left..to..give.." Hitomi said smiling and a few tears run down her face. Hitomi burried her face into Naota shirt and cling to him.
" I'm so sorry..i probaly..going to get..your shirt..wet.." Hitomi chocked threw her tears.

"Hasn't changed much...." he whispered as San fell on the couch.
"Wanna watch some Tv?" Lee nodded as he sat down. Right at that seocnd, she came up and kissed him.
"What?" He pushed her away. "Already?"
"Just pretend Where we left off." Lee jumped up as he brushed his hair.
"Nah....I don't feel like watching any TV." San blushed and smiled.
"What, upstairs in the bed already?" Now Lee was the one the blush. She seemed too attached to him already.[/FONT]

Hitomi wiped her tears off and looked at Naota. She smiled and started to laugh. " I need to do homework! Ekk i got extra thank to that bitch...not to kick you out but." Hitomi said pulling him off the couch and pushing him out the door.
" Uhh no problem?" Naota said puzzled
"Ohh thanks alot.." Hitomi said and closed the door.

After 3 hours of homework Hitomi finished. She went outside her house to the backyard at sat in the swing with a ice cream. She wonder when San will be finished with Lee. San was her neighboor and they did play around in the swing and talk for a bit. She didn't want to see Lee but she wanted somone to talk to. Even if it was Lee's girlfriend. [/FONT] [/COLOR]

He wasn't a guardian anymore. He shouldn't care about this crap about assassins and so on. He turned and kissed San back. They fell on the bed.

" I wonder if there a full moon? WEREWOLVES!" Hitomi yelled and smiled. She wonder how long she been out her. She hoped nothing happen today. Everytime it got dark and she going to fall asleep a assisan attacks. Maybe tonight is Tomoe's house? or maybe even Mailynn's?
Hitomi eating her popsicle looked at the back door of San house. She wonder if San going to come out? It wouldn't make since for Lee to come out the back. Ofcourse he was doing something naughty with San and had to ran away from San's killer dad. Hitomi laughed at her wild imagination just one thing she loved about herself.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[FONT=Arial] Slowly, memories of everything he knew where slipping from him. He laid on San's bed looking up at the ceiling. San had disaeppeared, said to be right back. He couldn't remember how he got here or why he was here. Something was wrong, but he wouldn't know. He was losing everything, San finally came back only this time she was undressing. Her eyes where red, the color of blood.
"It is time, since you failed to let darkness surround you and destroy the human race.....your son will....." Lee kept looking at the ceiling. Son, what was she talking about? Did he have a son? Then he looked at her eyes. He was stunned and couldn't move, but he knew. He couldn't kill his friends, but his son would. And San would be the mother.
"You......bitch...."
"Your son will become the king of darkness, you shoule be proud." She was striped down and walking towards him.
"And the world will soon be in darkness once again...."[/FONT]

[color=#DF2020][FONT=Century Gothic]Hitomi dragged her feet in her ground when she swinged. She dropped her popsicle and looked up at San's house. Something felt terrible wrong. Should she go up there? She might be wrong and catch them in the middle of something. Yet this feeling was a bit too strong. Hitomi jumped out of her swing and opened the back door of the house. Hitomi slammed the door open. She saw San a top of Lee. Hitomi got angry and pulled San hair pulling her off Lee.
"Get Off Bitch.." Hitomi said slamming her into a corner. [/FONT] [/COLOR]

[FONT=Arial] Lee saw Hitomi as she slammed San across the room. San was laughing after the fall.
"Too Late....The boy will live...." Lee didn't know why but he cried. If the world came to an end, it would be a son he didn't want alive. Hitomi was stared at her wide eyed.
"What the hell? What boy?"
"Lee's son of course will kill all."
"That's his job!"
"What he didn't tell you? He has no powers. He is some washed up boy. Just took the last of his mgihty dark strenth and will put to better use." She began to laugh hard. She seemed insane. Lee laid there very still. What else, he was too weak to go on. If he had the energy, he would have found his katana and well...you know.
"Now my son will rule over all!" Lee snapped up. She lost control over him.
"Not unless I kill you!" He got up and tackled her out her window, in the process going down with her.
"LEE!!!"
They fell from the two story house as it took some energy to get up. San was still alive, still laughing.
