OOC: Lee and Hitomi arn't right by them, but o well.

[SIZE=2][FONT=Arial] Lee stared at Hitomi who was in pain. Lee snatched the jacket and threw it on the ground.
"I don't need some guardian to tell me what to do."
"What?! Isn't he your friend?" Lee stared at Shun as he turned away.
"I don't have any..." Lee's hair began to change to silver as he was transoforming once again. He made up his mind. He was going to change...for good..... He could hear the voice laughing.
"Good, become me..." Lee gave a mighty yell as red lightning flashed aboved them as the wind picked up. No more was he going to be alone. He would either rule or die to join his parents. There was one more massive blast of wind then the transformation was complete. Lee breathed and turned at the city.
"Why did he have to feel this kind of pain? everyone should.." He smiled a wickedly as the voice kept laughing.[/FONT][/SIZE]

[Makurayami]

((That's why I threw the shirt...I figured you were something like ten-fifteen feet away...))

"You got to be shitting me..." Makai muttered. Desu was tired from excerting so much ki at once. There was no way he could fight the dark ninja and expect to win. Makai could use a small bit of ki, but nothing like Desu could.

But the guardian and this girl needed to be treated. Makai threw threw the guardian over his now bare back and inched slowly towards the girl. She was weak, but still concious meracilously. Makai slowly pulled her onto his shoulder, supporting her but leting her walk on her own. She started to say something, but Makai cut her off.

"Shut-up, we're all too weak now. We need to retreat and recover," Makai said. She got the idea or maybe she was just too weak; whatever the reason, she quited down. Makai began making his way away from the silver-haired ninja, hoping he wouldn't turn around.

After a few minutes he was out of range. Wheather it was because the dark one was idstracted or he just wanted to let them go for later, they had gotten away. Makai looked to the guardian on his shoulder. He was awake, barely, and struggling to say something.

"Shrine...go to...shrine...up...ahead," he whispered. After about ten minutes or so, Makai was at the steps of a shrine. He walked up the steps and into the shrine. Mailynn was on the steps, looking like she was waiting for something.

"Jesus, you're here," Makai gasped. "Help me get these two in."

[COLOR=Plum][FONT=Century Gothic]Hitomi clenthing her stomach still. She looked at Lee with pure hatered. "Your weak minded. Falling into the darkness. Is the voice really that tempting? Do you really hate us all that much? You hate me that much? Your worthless....."Hitomi voice kept getting weaker. "I can't believe i look up too you. I'm stupid of thinking you more than just a friend. Now i know your just a piece of shit, that can't let go of the dumb past. Your parents die so what? SO YOU ALWAYS PITY YOURSELF" Hitomi yelled " You even to scare to get revenge, let it go and live your life....I hate you Lee. I dispise you..." Hitomi spit on Lee's shoes. Hitomi then fell and layed down on the ground. She was laying on a pool of her own blood. She was stupid, just plain stupid. She shouldn't have never trusted of Lee, not at all. Hitomi clenthed the ground and strated to cry.
"Hate me all you want...it be easier for me" Lee smiled
She let herself get carried by Makai. SHe needed a friend right now.She really needed a friend.... [/FONT] [/COLOR]

Lee walked down the street to the city. No more was his dream to have a family and crap like that. He finally got down to the central of the city. People on the streets looked at him oddly like, 'what the hell is he suppose to be?" He smiled evilly and put out his hands in the air.
"Time to suffer!" He threw his hands down to blast dark energy that destroyed two gaint buildings. People paniced and ran for there lifes. He blasted more and more balls of darkness at anything he saw. The voice slowly whispered in his ear.
"Yes.... Destory everything... DESTORY!!! Lee got more angry and fired balls of ki faster.
"Suffer!" [/FONT] [/SIZE]

[COLOR=Plum][FONT=Century Gothic]Hitomi was asleep for a while. Her wounds were treated and covered. She woke up and panic. Where was she?!? Where Lee!?! Tomoe!?! Shun!?!? SHe looked around looking everywhere. She grabbed her head and remembered...Lee is gone. He truely gone. She put her hand into a fist and pounded on her leg. She was going to kill him and end it all. He was going to die by her hands, end him from his sorrow. SHe got up from her resting place and quickly fell back on the ground. Her wound was still tender, damn it.
Mailynn ran to her side and asked "Hitomi you must rest..."
"I swear i'm fine!" Hitomi got up on her feet "No biggy fast healer see?" Hitomi smiled
"Hitomi i know your hurting, inside and out. I know what happen i saw....and Makai told me."
" You know nothing...Makai no nothing. That was not him, not anymore..." Hitomi shook her head "He must be destroyed at all cost..."
Tomoe walked in and frown "Don't be so rash Hitomi.."
" Tomoe you should see his face...he accept it. He wanted this to become what he is now..." Hitomi said
" There must be.." Tomoe was cut by a far away explosion sound.
"THAT IS PROBALY HIM TOMOE!" Hitomi pointed outside "You don't know how he looked after he transformed. He look coold..his eyes looked like it had no feeling. He ain't the same Lee.." Hitomi shook her head and mumered "not my Lee"
Tomoe looked oustside the window and saw fire not so far away. Explosion after explosion. Did Lee have no mercy? Hitomi put on her custom and ran outside
" HITOMI STOP RUSHING INTO THINGS!" Mailynn said and put on her cotume too she found not long ago. SHe ran after Hitomi.
" I AM THE ONLY ONE WITHOUT A NINJA COSTUME!?" Tomoe said runing after them.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[Makurayami]

"Damn, hold on!" Makai shouted. Makai started to run after the three but remebered Shun was still there. "Mailynn, you'll have to handle this one," Makai whispered under his breath. He had complete confidence in her. However, Desu didn't.

[i]"Fool! We must be the one to kill the dark ninja!"[/i] he shouted mentally.

"Shut the hell up, Desu. I'm in charge now, and Mailynn can handle herself!" Makai shouted back. "Besides, you're only about three-fourths healed. I don't want to fight till you're fully healed."

[i]"Fine then, be a dumb-ass, get your friends killed,"[/i]

"Hey Desu."

[i]"What?"[/i]

"Shut the hell up." And with that Makai walked into the room that Shun was in. He was still knocked out, but his wounds had been bandaged and treated. He wasn't looking good, and if he didn't wake up in the next few hours, he had a chance of never waking again. Makai sat down on the floor and leaned against the bed.

"Come-on, Shun, you can make it...you have to make it. You're the guardian."

[Lionheart]

[SIZE=2] [FONT=Arial] Lee destroyed the next building and stopped. He was surrounded by a large cloud of smoke....Good job Lee....They did this to you..... Now, make everyone suffer.... make them feel your pain. Lee showed no emotion as he summoned his sword and began to slash through people that where running from him. Blood was blown everywhere as for every slash a memory of his life drifted away. He wasen't the darkness... the darkness was controling him. There was so many people runing for there lifes. He didn't care for anyone. dark chi surrounded him as he closed his eyes.
"DIE!!!!" He let out the darkness as the power blasted eveyrone around him. killing them instantly. smoke blew around him as it became quiet. The voice was now proud of him.....Good Lee....You only have one job left.... kill the guardians....
"....Yes...."[/FONT][/SIZE]

[SlowChemical]

[COLOR=Plum][FONT=Comic Sans MS]Hitomi ran ignoring ever ounce of physical pain she had. Hitomi who was in the lead, was soon runing behinde Tomoe and Mailynn.
"Are you okay Hitomi?" Mailynn said with worry
" We can always so donw.." Tomoe said
"NO WAY!" Hitomi smiled " You can't slow down because of me! Is no big!"
" Your in denail..."
" Ya Hitomi stop lying"
" What is a lie but to cover up the truth. If people always knew the truth the world be full of sorrow. I rather live a lie then know any truth at all.." Hitomi said lowering her head while still runing. Tomoe and Mailynn looked at each other. There really worried about Hitomi. What happen to the cherful, spunky, loud girl they knew? The one who kicked butt in baseball?
Hitomi was runing with tears in her eyes. She wish this never happen. SHe already had enopugh problems. Her father and mother are in the break of a divorce. She was always alone. No one dare cared what she thought in her family. She was the only child so she has no one to talk too at all. NOW the only guy she cared about was a full blown killing machine. She hated to cry, she haven't cried in so long. Tonight her tears flowed like a river.She can't cry anymore..no not anymore.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[Lionheart]

[SIZE=2][FONT=Arial] Lee stood standing waiting for the guardians. The ground that Lee stood on was a grave. Tomoe, Mailynn, and.....Hitomi showed up. Lee stared at them for the longest time. It was quiet for a few moments when Tomoe spoke.
"Lee... what's wrong? why have you done this? is your ancestor that much incontrolled?" Lee stared at her without blinking. He answered by pulling out his sword.
"My you join everyone in the...after-world!!" He swung and sent a wave of dark ki at them. They barely dodged, but gone blown away by the impact. Hitomi was the first to rebound as she countered by sending rocks form the ground directly at him. Lee cut through the rocks, but was caught off guard for behind the rock was Hitomi! She had made a sword from the earth and crossed blades with him. Lee could see her eyes where red.
"...Hitomi.." Lee whispered, but the voice made him turn back to his killing mode.
"She's trying to kill you. kill the guardians! Complete your mission!" Lee got under controlled and pushed her off by sending a ball of darkness. Tomoe came right behind him as she formed hand signals.
"Ninja Fire breath!" she sent a line of fire that hit Lee right on the back and surrounded him with fire. The guardians couldn't see him for the fire was like a dome covering him. [/FONT] [/SIZE]

[Starwind]

Shun was locked deep in his own mind, lost to the shadows of the unconsious world. He trembled and tried to move, but could only feel cold. His friends were fighting Lee and he couldn't do anything to help, he couldn't even save himself. H heard someone, someone close. He heard "You have to make it.... your the guardian." Shun was losing it, he was overcome with guilty. Shun shouted into the darkness "I'll do it. I'll sell my soul if I can save the ones who are so precious to me." For a moment, silence. Then from the darkness came a laugh "Good... now we can be free again, as it should be. Now know true power." SHun felt a surge of cold flow through him, like his blood had turned to ice. was this what darkness felt like? It didn't matter anymore, all that matterd was helping the others and if he could do that, then all the consequences were worth it. He Rose from the bed and glowed with a black light engulfing his body. He could here the voice "With this power we will destroy evil." Shun began to laugh with the dark spirit inside. As the light sub sided, he could see Makai standing at the edge of the bed staring at him, as he had once again changed. however, this time he seemed far more menacing, both in appearance and in presense.

[Lionheart]

[SIZE=2][FONT=Arial] Lee dove out of the fire and fired ki balls at the girls.....They can't beat you....Your unstoppable... Lee then charged at Tomoe and pulled out his sword.
"Lee, don't do this.' He pulled it way back when pain shot through his back. He flew afew feet to the ground. A gaint bolder had hit him. Then black lightning came from the sky and zapped staright to him. He dodged, but got blown away from impact....Stop fooling around with them....kill them... Lee nodded as he attacked Mailynn from behind. She hit the ground hard as he stood over her.
"One move and she dies.." The voice got angry....What are you doing? Kill her now... But somehow he couldn't bring himself to kill her at that point.[/FONT][/SIZE]

[Starwind]

The ceiling to the shrine ripped open and Shun took flight from there on his black wings. He soared through the air with a great speed, headed to the sight of the dark clouds. He arrived to see Lee pinning Mailynn to the ground, Shun brought his sword up and a flash went loose. Lee glanced back slightly and got clear of the blast. Shun could see him muttering something to himself but he only picked up on one word "enemy". Shuns' eyes grew black "FIne, if I'm your enemy then come at me." Lee jumped for him and swung with his sword. Shun lifted his sword with the handle facing the sky and the tip facing th ground and interecpted Lees attack. Shuns hand trebled and then he set his other hand on the sword and flung Lee off him. Shun pointed his tip to Lee again let loose another dark blast that caused the building wall behind Lee to crumble to small bite size pieces. Lee had managed to get clear, but Shun held his position, unwavering in his determination. Lee stood staring at Shun, who waited for Lees attack. They had become consumed by each other, one darkness feeding off the other. It was as if at that moment noone else existed in the world. These were two men consumed in hatred, two forces forever destined to stand against each other. Shun brought his blade up and called out to Lee "Come at me. Or would you stand there like a coward and except the fact that you are not strong enough."

[SlowChemical]

[COLOR=Plum][FONT=Century Gothic]Hitomi looked at Lee and then to Shun. She slapped her forhead. CRAP TWO OF THEM NOW! This is starting to piss her off. She thought of doing something but...it was risky. Then she remembered that is not them anymore. There no soul-less biengs now. Not Lee anymore, not Shun anymore. She didn't want to see how Tomoe was handling this. Seeing SHun like this an all. SHe shook her head and started doing hand symbols. With her full concetration Shun and Lee both feet were sunk into the rock.
"Crap i can't move..." Lee said trying to get his feet out of the solid rock
"Ugh..." Shun got angry
" That not all!" Hitomi said as both of them started to sink further into the rock. Until only there heads where popping out. "You know you guys look funny like this" Hitomi smiled
" Ugh...i get you for this.." Lee said struggling to get out.
"Sorry but that solid rock there! What you expect it was sand box?" Hitomi grinned. She really didn't know what to do now. Finish them off or let them be stuck in the rock 'until the find a way out. They would leave them with a warning no to harm a living soul. SHe really didn't want to kill.
"Tomoe..?" Hitomi said with her head down looking at her own feet.
"leave it Hitomi...." Tomoe said " This is only a warning, if we see you again...we have no choice to kill you."
"I have to make people suffer as I suffered...." Lee grinned "You really think this will contain me?" The girls heard what he said but already started to leave.
"Girls lets go..." Tomoe said while Hitomi and Mailynn nodded. The all left living the boys behind.
"To kill a human life, to save many. Are you even consider human if your consumed by darkness? Once a humna always a human...does that go for everyone?" Hitomi whispered as she walked with her head down.
"Hitomi you said something?" Tomoe asked
"NO! Not at all!" Hitomi said cheerfully "Just tired, i need to sleep!" She streached and yawned "What a long day!"
" Is been tough...I'm proud of all of you." Tomoe smiled. Hitomi and Mailynn nodded there heads.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[Lionheart]

[SIZE=2][FONT=Arial] Lee stared at them as they left. He wasen't going to be a fool. He gathered energy and blasted form the rocks.
"Dome of The black hell!' He roared as darkness shallowed the city included him and the guardians. the girls turned back at him as Shun blasted out also and stared at Lee.
"You really think some rocks can stop me from killing all of you? Do you think you can say we'll be force to kill you if you see me again? Please, no threat can scared me." He looked at Hitomi and smiled. Shun knew what he was going to do.
"Hitomi! watch out!!" Lee flew at the company and attacked Hitomi. He pulled out his mighty sword and pulled back.
"Time to die--" Lee fell to the ground in pain. blood came form his mouth as he found a giant slash on his back. It was really deep. Shun had hit him from behind. Lee coughed off more blood as Hitomi made her earth sword appear.
"Lee if you still in there... I'm sorry." she pulled it back and thrusted the sword to Lee. Lee grabbed the sword form reaching his gut. The voice kept saying...I will not lose... But now Lee's soul was coming back. He smiled, not a evil one, but a happy one.
"I'm still here..." He whispered as Hitomi gasped, but it was too late. He let go off the blade as the sword plunged through his heart. He transformed back into his normal form as he fell to the ground.[/FONT][/SIZE]

[COLOR=Plum][FONT=Century Gothic]Hitomi was on her knees with her head lowered. " I had to do it...he was going to kill me. He could have left free if he...just..listened. He was..still human...still..human." Hitomi voice was but a whisper. " You idiot...you stupid fool. I pierced you heart as you pierced mine. Yet is..not fair.." Hitomi shook her head. Tomoe looked at patted Hitomi in the back.
"I promise myself i wouldn't cry.." Hitomi said
" Crying helps sometimes..." Tomoe said
" I won't...He could heal right! I don't think the darkness would let him go that easy right! Maybe they still have use for him and heal heal!" Hitomi tole Tomoe actually raising her head
Tomoe shook her head "If he did we have to kill him..."
"I won't give up.." Hitomi said walking to Lee's body and pick it up.
"Hitomi stop being folish.." Mailynn said " Just leave it alone...what your going to do with it?"
"Bury it...him" Hitomi said dragging Lee's body " Damn you not ass light as you seem!"
Tomeo and Mailynn looked at each other. OKAY! They agree Hitomi had lost her mind. The thought just to help them bury him to ease her soul.
After they buried him Hitomi kneeled down and put a letter on top of a grave. " If you can read it says that i'm sorry." Hitomi said and smiled " For everything, if you do rise off from the dead...heal from that wound. Go ahead and get you vegence on me, since i killed you. Evil or not you were still a close friend of mine. Dearest of all" Hitomi smiled. Hitomi got up and smiled at Mailynn and Tomoe. "COME ON I"M SOOOOOOO SLEEPY! Don't we have school tommorow or something?"[/FONT][/COLOR]

[Lionheart]

That night, rain began to pour onto the destructive city. People gathered and saw what was left of the city. All because of someone's ancestor. The descentents thought they had killed the evil that surrounded them.... but they where wrong. They had two enemies to take care of. The shadow assasins that attacked the company and killed Lee's parents. The bossman had found out that his 2nd rate assasins had failed, but his stronger ones still wait. As the rain fell that night a dog walked off the street and to a small hill of dirt. He sniffed around as a a hand popped out of the dirt. He yelped and ran off. The hand swated away the muddy dirt as Lee forced himself out. blood flowing down his head. He wasen't dead. For Hitomi had not killed him, but his ninja ancestor. He laid on the ground as the rain fell on him. Wind picked up as a noted landed on his chest. He grabbed it and glanced. It was Hitomi saying, i'm sorry. A small smile crept over his face.
".....Me too."

[Starwind]

Shun stood there at Lee's grave a little while longer after the others left. He stood staring at his friends grave, he had just came and he already had to lose one of his friends for something so meaningless. He set his hand on the freshly dug dirt and spoke to Lee " Me and you had to deal with our inner darkness. It's because were men, that's why it's an experience our fair and pure maidens don't understand what that is." Shun stood up and began to walk away "And hopefully they never will." He walked down and looked at the destruction, he could feel the dark shadow in his soul, since he let it in he was subject to it's influence, but this was the price he chose to pay to save her. And, given the choice, he would pay it over and over again, for them. He walked down the hill and began his slow return to the shrine. He knew that Nanasei must have been worried about him, but this was his life now. He would visit her once more tomorrow then he would let that part of his life go and dedicate himself to his place as the shrines guardian. He marched to the shrine like a condemed man making his final steps. He arrived at Tomoes house of all places, he was drenched from the rain ans it was now dark outside. At this moment he wanted nothing more then to see her, but he knew that it was his job to stay focused and continue up to the shrine. She was the only thought in his mind, he wanted to hold her in his arms, he wanted to kiss her. He marched to the central shrine, where he had first encounterd the former guardian. He sat just inside the door and began to meditate with his face toward the door. As he sat there he was finally able to liberate his emotions from the darkness and began to cry. Cry for the destruction, cry for his fallen friend who died at his hand, cry for the girl he loved and the one he could never have. He was finally open to himself again, something he hadn't been in only a few days, but those few days seemed like years to Shun.

[Makurayami]

Makai got up as he heard Shun arrive. He had stayed at the shrine, to Desu's great dissapointment, and healed, his wounds being something of the past now. Makai had also explored the shrine a bit and read some of the old scrolls in the back. One had held a particularly interesting technique invovling fire-based ki. Desu was still angry at him, but Makai could tell that he was getting through to him. It was just Desu's pride that prevented him from admiting it.

Makai walked into the central area and saw Shun crying. Makai hung back and waited for him to finish. When he seemed done, Makai came up behind him.

"What happened?" he asked. Shun whipped around, probably surprised Makai was still here. He regained himself in a second though.

"We...killed him. Lee's dead," Shun said quitely.

"Really..." Makai mumbled. He was expecting Desu to be angry.

[i]"Oh well, can't get them all; that's part of being a mercenary,"[/i] Desu mentally said. Makai had to use almost all of his self-control to keep his jaw from dropping. There seemed to be more to this ancestor then he thought.

"Alright...later, I guess," Makai shrugged and walked out. He pulled the coller of his jacket up to keep his warmth in from the cold rain. He started walking home. As he walked, he went past Mailynn's house. He then remebered that Genji was still there. And it gave Makai an excuse to see Mailynn. He walked up and knocked on the door. No answer. Makai knocked again. Still no answer. He leaned against the door and it slightly opened. Makai poked the door open and walked in.

"Genji, you still here?" he called as he walked in. After five minutes of searching he figured that no one was home. He turned to leave when he heard the door knob start to turn. Some one was coming in. Makai froze as the door opened.

[Starwind]

Shun stood up and watched Makai leave the shrine, while Shin decided to stay for the night. Shun walked to the back of the room and looked at the crumbled statue of the dark ninja, Lees' ancestor. Shun looked for a moment then moved on. He left the central shrine and went to the training grounds, marching through the pouring rain. He looked out over the battle torn land that had obviously seen it's share of damage of the years. There were still marks and creases where the area had been repaired in the past. He walked down the stairs, to the base of them again. He sat on the first step and let the rain fall on his head, he felt the cold dripping down his spine. Shun had never been this sad before, everywhere he went he could still remember Lee and his friends and the sacrifice he had made to help things. Now Lee was dead and he could never go back to his old life, but he knew that no matter how many times he went over it, it was the only solution. He sat trembling in the rain and started to cry again. In the rain noone can see you cry.

[SlowChemical]

[COLOR=Plum][FONT=Century Gothic] Hitomi got the keys to her house and open the door. She yelled saying that she was home. No one replied. Great alone again in this big house. She sighed, if only her parents knew what was going on. What just happen today. If they knew she actually killed somone. Will the still love her? SHe doubt they even loved her now. Hitomi took of her shoes and starting to get ready for bed. She took a long shower, brushed her teeth and try to get the smell of blood off her hands. She tied back up her wound, that she got today. People well absolutely freak if the saw her big bruise and cut.
She put on her pajamas and sat down on her bed. She didn't feel like sleeping much. So she stood there for a while in the dark by herself. Thinking about what just happen. Looking back to her moment of insanity. She realized if he did come back to life, she must not hesitate to kill him. She looked out the window and saw it was raining. She got up and wiped off the fog from the window. SHe saw outside and it seem to be pouring. The rain was always had a sad quality to it. Some people call it romantic and beautiful ,but it just made Hitomi want to cry with the sky.Lee would probaly agree wth her or call her a wimp. It wasn't fair, she was the one to felt like crying. To wanted to seek comfort but the only one who could she killed. She shook her head and the fog appeared again on her window. She took of her slippers and layed down on her bed, not facing the window. She didn't want to see the sky cry. No not if she was the one who desrved to cry.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[GothikMoon]

Mailynn heard something downstairs and quickly jumped down. She landed soft and quiet on her feet, and saw a figure standing in the dark.

"Who's there?" Mailynn slowly pulled out a small dagger from her thigh, and put it up to the figures neck.

Makai felt the dagger on his neck and sighed.

"Hey it's me, you don't need to chop my f*cking head off."

Mailynn smiled and put her dagger away.

"Sorry. Didn't expect to fid you wandering around my house."

The door opened all the way, and a woman walked in holding a little dog. Mailynn smiled and hugged her.

"Hey mom. What are you doing here?"

"I forgot muffies suitcase. [I]*She looked at Makai and back at Mailynn*[/I] Mailynn I told you no boys over while i'm gone?"

Her mom smiled and picked up muffies suitcase.

"Ok then. Luv ya..bye." She kissed Mailynns cheek and ran out the door into her limo.

Mailynn smiled and dragged Makai into her room.

"This is Grim. He's loves me and will strangle anyone else who touches him, or I tell him to."

Grim turned his head towards Makai and hissed.

[Makurayami]

Makai smiled a bit as the snake started to slither towards him. "Hehe, I would give him a pet, if not for the whole 'will strangle anyone else who touches him' thing," Makai chuckled. He walked to the other side of the room and sat down on Mailynn's desk chair.

[FONT=Arial] Lee forced himself to stay in the shadows of the cold night. Blood was spilling out of him like a juice box, but he didn't care. He walked with the shadows to his house as blood fell to the floor. He went to his father's office where his father stored a priceless Katana. He grabbed as has he took a deep breath. He walked back outside to the cold rainy night. Acouple houses down he saw Hitomi's house. He slowly walked in front of her house, to the footsteps and checked the door. It was unlocked....
Lee slipped through the stairs and to the right. ther in bed was Hitomi. The one girl that his ancestor almost killed. His destiny.... He pulled out the katana slowly as he stood over her. He pulled the sword over his head has he got closer and closer and closer. He lowered the sword as he put his lips against hers. She didn't wake for she was a hard sleeper.
"Goodbye..." He nodded as he had only one thing to do.
Kill the man that killed his family. Mr. Bossman od the shadow assasins. He was going to do it even if he was slowly dieing.[/FONT]

Grim quickly slithered around Mailynns arm as his head wrapped around her neck hanging off her shoulder. He lifted his head to Mailynn and stuck out his tongue.

Mailynn smiled and kissed Grim on the head. She walked over to her bed and sat down petting the long snake.

"Well...lets see. I'm 15 years old, I have the rep. of beating guys over the head with baseball bats, and I love cats and reptiles. My parents were killed when I was five and was addopted by my new mom who is a rich and famouse veteranarian. A few years after I was adopted my mom married a traveling animal doctor, and we have been traveling ever since. Acually this year was the first year they acually let me stay home. Anyway...my mom is allergic to cats and when she's around them to much she gets sick, so I wasn't allowed to get one. I ended up getting the next best thing...my little python from Africa. Well..he was little when I got him. :animeswea And from what I know, my ancestor is Layla. She was a skilled dark ninja with the power of dark lightning. My sensei told me that she had a secret love affair, but whenever I try to ask her all she says is *[I]You don't need to know. It was a forbidden affair.[/I]* Oh...my sensei taught me everything I know about ninjitsu and weaponry. I think thats it."

(As mailynn was talking her and Makai didn't notice that Grim had slithered out of her room.)

Mailynn hesitantly looked around her floor when she noticed her door was open.

"Oh..sh*t! Come on Makai. If he gets loose.." She quickly ran out her door and looked over the railing and saw the end of Grim's tail fall out the window.

Mailynn and Makai ran down stairs and sprinted out the door(Mailynn is still faster). She hesitantly grabbed Grim's tail trying not to startel him.

Grim hissed and snapped at her, just missing her face. Mailynn jumped back and glared at the large snake.

"What are you doing?!"

Grim slithered around her again and hissed at Makai as he ran up.

"Stop that. Makai's ok, you don't have to eat him."

Grim slowly slithered on to Makai's shoulder.

"I think he's starting to like you."

She smiled and softly kissed Makai on the lips.

Shun looked up after serveral hours in the rain and saw that the clouds were finally starting to break. He could see the stars trying to gleam through, the light trying to pry through the darkness. Shun stood up and began tot shake the water from his body "It's almost morning, I better go say goodbye to Nanasei." He started to walk away thinking to himself 'would she really believe me and if she did would she accept me' He juggled this for a while "Guess it dosen't matter, I'll have to leave after I finish saying goodbye to her anyway." He walked slowly through the wet streets. He finally came up on his old apartment and walked through the door. Almost immediatly, his cousin appeared and jumped at him "Where were you? I called the police. Didn't you here what happend? I thought you were dead." She started to cry. This was great, it was akward enough without the water works. He hugged and began apologizing. He knew that he had to tell her now before he got to attached again "Nanasei, the reason I came was to say goodbye." SHe looked up to him as he turned his head away "What are you talking about Shun? You don't have to go anywhere, I'm not that upset." Shun began feeling even worse the longer this went on "I know. I just have to go is all. I know you don't understand and you may never and maybe that is better. Just forget I lived here and if anyone asks for me, you don't know a Ibuki Shun." She started to get a panicked look across her face "What are you talking about? What happend?" Shun could feel himself losing his nerve, he knew he had to finish quickly "Listen, something happend and now things are different and I don't think they'll ever be normal again. Just don't tell anyone you know me, you'll be safer that way." with that Shun turned and ran out the door quickly and didn't look back, even as Nanasei called out and cried for him to come back. Shun hadn't felt this terrible in his entire life, it felt like he was only able to hurt the people he wanted to protect. He was only bringing problems to the others, but he knew what he had to do. There was noway around the fact that he was the guardian now and this was his responsiblity. The only peole in his life were those in the shrine. Makai, Mailynn, Hitomi and her. They were all that matterd now.
