Anime Why do some people not like anime?

Well, I feel that I have to agree with a lot of people here wehen saying that the reason people don't like Anime is that it is childish or idiotic. Granted, it is rare that you will be able to see the best Animated shows without seeing them Hacked up, swallowed, digested and spat out by the Censors. That is why so many of the now Childish anime are for kids even though if it didn't get censored it would most likely be a PG or M.


The other side is that Anime Fans are stereotyped as either Eccentric Asian geeks, Wierd Fan-Boys or Freaks. I'm one of the few non-asian Anime fans at my school but I'm looked down at because they think that means I look at Hentai. Which I don't, because I'm not desperate.

1.this is true... although some may not like the gore as much as the next, but maybe they should seperate the two and have the censored and the uncensored... Although this would cost alot of monny and time so its not likly to happen. :animedepr

2.Lol... ummm Im more seen as a jock and a dork (jockdork). As far as hentai you dont have to be desperate, you can be bored to. jk. Some of it isnt that bad, but alot is a little to kinky for my taist...

There's also the fact that some peeps just think that those big eyes, fountain and river tears, mouths that open amazingly large for any normal person and falling over at any stupid thing said unbearable. Believe me, my sister was like that...
But I suppose it shouldn't really matter cause it all balances out. I know quite a lot of people who DO watch anime and then quite a lot who DON'T. It's like good and evil, there has to be a balance. ;) [/color][/size][/font]

I'm ok with soft yaoi, like Gravitation, where the only thing you see is holding hands, hugging and kissing but anything more than that freaks me out. *shudder*[/color][/size][/font]

lol... dont worry I'm sure alot of people would agree with you.

Well there is some hentai that is ment to be strait porn and some with a story line (bible black, and la blue girl) I find these to be better because some of them are pretty funny like la blue girl is.
Although those can get pretty kinky at times.
