[COLOR=Indigo]Just over a month ago several threads throughout OtakuBoards mysteriously vanished due to a glitch in the system. So what I?d like to do is restart one of the threads that vanished. It was really quite interesting to see what people?s random questions were so I?d love to see the discussion running again.

So here?s the deal. You can ask any random question you want, as there won?t be a specific topic for this thread. But since we don?t want to create spam by having lots of posts only asking a question the rules are as follows.

First of all if possible try to answer a question that someone before you has posted. It doesn?t have to be just the one before you but any of the questions before you post.

After that list your question. If you don?t have an answer to someone else?s question then try to answer your own or give an example of it. Since I have no question to answer I?ll start off by answering my own.

Have you consistently been called the wrong name for most of your life?

For me that would be a yes, my name is Crystia and for what ever reason people later remember my name as Crystal. I have been called that so often that I?ve gotten use to it. Even to the point where I actually answer to that name.[/COLOR]

If you could be any animal, which one would you be?

I?ve heard this before and I can never choose! I always think, oh! I want to be this animal because they can do this! And then I think, but I also want to be this one because they can do that! LOL! For example wouldn?t it be cool to be a Cheetah? I mean they can run so fast! Or what about being a Rat? Wouldn?t it be fun to be able to get into all sorts of small places to explore? Or how about being a dog? Hehehehe! I love Bichon?s and I think it would be fun to be a cute little fluff ball. ^_^ [/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkOliveGreen]That?s like the story of my life! My full legal name is Elizabeth and nearly everyone shortens it to the nickname Liz. It drives me up the wall, as I really hate that nickname. Even the boys when I was in grade school would turn it into something like Lizzy Lizard. I lost count of the times I got sent to the principals office for beating them up for calling me that.

When I was twelve I decided I was sick of it and started putting Beth on everything instead. I occasionally get called Bethany now, but I actually like that so it?s no big deal. Ironically I?ve gone by Beth for so long that I no longer even think of myself as Elizabeth. Though since people still call me Liz if they realize my name is Elizabeth I?ve thought of changing my name legally to Beth or Bethany. One would think that as an adult it wouldn?t matter, but I still hate the nickname Liz.

Now for my question:

Not really...they do what they do over and over again...that's basically what practice is...and since there is no "test" out there parsay they will always call it their 'practice'.

It depends on how you would define geek - apparently I'm not a geek, even though I love spending most of my time on my computer. I guess the 'geek' thing goes away when you get older :)

I posted a thread called - 24 hrs. to Live. That unfortunately mysteriously vanished too. However I do remember posting a reply in this thread before it disappered.

As for Raiyuu,

I'm not really good when it comes food mixtures. I love food but mixtures isn't my strong point. So what I did was I got a article on mincemeat from a web site called,

My answer: five days. Result: one of the best papers I've ever written, and one heck of a long nap. I think I was out cold for two days straight after that...it's all really a blur. :animesigh

Yep, my name is Kisha. That is like the word wish or fish, Kish, with an uh at the end. I rarely get called Kisha though, except by friends. Usually it's Kesha or Kasha or Keisha or something like that. It irks me and even friends slip up sometimes. I'm not sure why it's such a hard name to remember. I love my name. But I answer to Kesha now too, blah.

Bah, I don't think so at all. I mean like the woman who sued McDonald's because she spilled hot coffee in her lap and sued saying she didn't know the coffee was hot. That is stupidity (and no, the aruguement 'their coffee isn't usually hot though' is not valid)

If you honestly think that eating McDonald's or whatever is healthy for you then personally I don't care if you get fat. I know when I eat Taco Bell it's bad for me so I don't blame the company. They aren't saying "Eat Taco Bell everyday and get skinny!" So no...and yes this logic works for most everything. Sueing a rock group because their lyrics made a kid kill himself...I just don't believe in that sort of thing.

My Spanish teacher/adviser in sixth grade spent (I think) a quarter of one year in college studying in Spain with a group of people and she would always tell us stories about it in Spanish class/advisory. Ever since then I?ve wanted to spend part of my time in College studying in Spain? I think it?s partially because I always end up being in really slow and dumb Spanish classes, which don?t really teach me anything. And also it sounds like it would be really cool to actually learn the language from living there. ?I?m not sure if that really counts as where I want to live because it?s only for a short time but I think it would be nice to live in Spain when I grow up too? either that or I want to move to Italy (since I?m Italian and most of my family is there), but I don?t know any Italian and it?s hard to start learning languages as an adult (but Spanish is very close to Italian).

[COLOR=GREEN][FONT= Comic Sans MS]Yeah, only the females bite and suck your blood. The males are a lot bigger in size and I think they only drink water. Insects are interesting creatures, in that they don't live for very long in their adult stages, and therefore don't really need to eat. The female mosquitoes only suck blood in order to help their eggs develop; they bite, suck to their fill, then fly off to the nearest pool of standing water to lay her eggs.

Okay, enough of me showing how much of an animal science geek I am, time for my question:

[COLOR=Indigo]I spend quite a bit of time making sure I maintain a perfect grade, but primarily because not only do I love seeing perfect grades on my report cards but also since the good grades mean I get scholarships that help pay for my tuition. Since what I qualify for covers nearly two thirds of my tuition and books I always do my homework before having fun.

Here?s my next random question:

Why do they sterilize needles for lethal injections? It just seems kind of pointless to me.
