Guest Renji-kun
The Crow was awesome. The way they are re-doing it/re-did it scares me. They messed with his make-up too much. >.>;; And I know how you feel about Brandon. D; *tackles your crow*

Gavin
Interesting, most interesting. The first time I saw The Crow was on the island of Lanzarote a few years ago, and I couldn't understand a word of it because the film was in German. Then a couple of years ago, I rented it from my local video store and watched it in a tongue I could actually understand. As films go it was rather enjoyable, though sadly predictable as to the ending, Brandon Lee was in excellent form on that film and sadly was taken far too young in an accident shortly after the film was finished. I seem to recall though that there was a different ending to the German one I saw, involving thousands of crows colliding with the main antagonist at the end, though perhaps that was a different Crow given the three other sequels, though until I looked up Wiki I wasn't aware there was two other Crow films made before Wicked Prayer. As for Wicked Prayer, well to say anything other than it was a truly poor film would be to lie, the character, plot and acting was sub standard aside from Edward Furlong who managed a decent performance. The inclusion of David Boreanaz in any supernatural roles should not be taken lightly, or at all where possible.
Amorphous
Along with Spawn I grew up with loving The Crow. It's been sometime since I've actually watched the first movie and I've always highly enjoyed it, the acting was great and even though it was predictable in itself as to what would happen it's still quite fun to watch the Crow kick some but. I've always loved the movie start from finish, the atmosphere was great, there is much I can say that just wouldn't praise this movie. I even actually enjoy the soundtrack, well at least two songs of it anyways.
demonchild781
Though I have watched all the crow movies...I'm not sure I can sit here and say I love them. The 90s delievered a few of these...depressing, gory movies of beating each other with whips and chains for sexual pleasure, then having some martial arts master kick the crap out of them. Entertainment value was a little dry and hard to believe, though they were trying to enlighten us on the way of big cities...but still. As for the plot and overall story line, it was original and good. The Crow maybe one of the most unforgettable movies of our time.
Guest sesshysgirl
well i cant say i like the second and third one cuz i took them outside and shot them..........ididnt say that. i think that they took away from the first movie and were rather dull. i loved the first movie and out of all of them it was the best. i think it was kinda sick tho when the chick was cutting the dead chicks eye out. :animestun

egutsu
The crow is one of my all time favorite movies . I love the whole gothic feel of the movie . its real dark . Brandon lee played his role real good . Theres no way that the other crow movies will ever be better than the first one . :D :therock:
-Otakon-
The Crow's gothic world is fascinating and Eric Draven was absolutely Brandon Lee's best role. It's too bad that he died so young, because Brandon was really talented actor.
Glittery_Itachi
They made a second Crow movie? I mean I know about the Crow, then the second one and the third one. I think that is what you all are talking about. I could be confused. Anyway, I loved that movie. It was such a kick *** movie. I really enjoy every aspect and it was sad that Brandon Lee died so young.

07Seifer521
so your a big fan of the crow i also think that it was a cllasic its a shame that brandon died his career would of gone way up. It also sucks that he died almost the same age his daaad may brandon rest in peace. Even though i like part 2 i think that they should of just leave it alone you know (not make a part 2) but oh well. Gothic InuYasha
I just got done reading the origional 'crow' comic book. two words: holy.........crap! It was freakin' awesome. Pure genius. So deep. So dark. So violent. :D I'm actually ashamed to say i've never read it earlier.
satan665
Theres actually four Crow movies out there now, the last two were direct to video. The most recent with Furlong I can only imagine was utterly bad. The third movie had some guy who had the crow makeup as a burn scar on his face, and had Kirsten Dunst in it. It was one of the worst movies I have ever rented. Basically only the first film was any good. The second movie had the crows flying through the bad guy in the end, and overall the movie was ok but not really anything great. Compared to the original it was pretty weak. Semjaza
Honestly, I don't know why the original is looked to as though it's a great movie to begin with. It's not bad. It's entertaining and has a decent feel about it, but it's not really anything that any other largely mindless action movie hasn't afforded us. Why it needed three additional films I'll never know. If he hadn't, I dare say the film wouldn't be as well known and popular and maybe, maybe we'd never have seen Halle Berry rip off the entire film's concept in Catwoman.
Shi no Tenshi
Yeah, it was strange how he died onset. Someone accidently loaded a gun that was meant to be empty for the shoot where he's on the table in front of those gang members. It's an entertaining film, rather sexy too. I also like the soundtrack a lot despite it being riddled with 90's angst. The concept was rather good, the imagery well thought out. Reminds me a lot of how comics are set up actually, in terms of colour schemes and frames. The graphic novel itself is also rather good, but the film is better as I find the artwork rather basic and sketchy. In a nutshell, it's a good film. It entertained me, thus serving its purpose.
