Two words, my fellow imagineers...FAN FICTION!!! That would seem to be a great way to release our creative juices. I just might do that. Exactly what I'll write, I have no idea. Might start sometime soon. Who knows. If anyone else wants to join me, that would be cool.
I've already written lots of fan fiction. I just keep imagining what it'd be like if they were made into anime form.

I have done the same thing. Its always at night right after I watch a good anime or movie. I wonder what would happen if this happen. I also like to add character to anime that don't really belong in the anime.

I don't really write these stories down on paper but i think I will start to. I already have a kind of story for Yu-Gi-Oh GX.

I must do that many times a day because I see myself doing that alot. Espically on the way back home from school. Since I do seem to like to watch the more...Horrific bloody kinds of anime. I always see the tests or homework assigments as my next assination target and me of course the assasin. I love doing that but I relaly need to stop being lazy and go write this down as fan fiction. I bet If I was to it would be really good.

I do this alot as well. (I'm starting to wonder if ALL anime fans have to much free time and a slight distortion of reality) Mine however is nearly the opposite of what you seem to be doing. Istead of taking the original charactors and creating a different ending, I add in a charactor and try to keep the story the same. It can be really difficult sometimes, actually, because I try to keep the charactors in-charactor and at the same time work in conversations with my charactor, ect, and make sure mine has a significant role in the plot without ruining the stroyline.
(Btw, I 've stopped wondering the above. Now I know it for a fact)

Sounds like it IS difficult doing it your way. Sticking an original character into an established storyline could be problematic, but could be fun, too.

BTW, you have a slight distortion of reality? You're far better off than I am. My reality is truly distorted. But as someone once said, "Why worry about insanity, when you can enjoy every minute of it?" LOL. As for free time, unfortunately, that's allI have right now,

I am not alon!!!!!!! Apparently i'm not completely crazy after all. I constantly find myself creating a personal character and then adding it to an onrunning anime. I also will create new episodes or alternate endings just. Also, what the guy said about the gundam modeling.................. I do the same thing. LONG LIVE GUNDAM WING!!!!!!!!! Some of you guys should send me your ideas so that we can share or maybe even do a joint fanfiction.

That would be something, indeed! (And since we've all done this in our heads its going to get pretty crazy). I think it would be an excellent idea. We could discuss it over the private messages, then work on it in the Anthology forum. Who else wishes to join in this endeavor?

I do the same thing... When I'm trying to fall asleep (it takes me like an hour to fall asleep!), I think of things for fanfiction, or imagine what will happen in the next chapter of a fanfiction I've been reading (or writing), or the next episode of a show. Or I'll just think up new ideas for fanfiction...

I do it during class too... I probably shouldn't... But I'll just zone off without knowing it, and start thinking about those things... :animedepr :animeswea

It's a nice distraction from regular, boring(ish) life. It lets your imagination go to wherever you want it to. It's a nice stretch. I love it, in my imagination, anything can and will happen...

Though... Maybe I should spend more time in reality... :animeswea

....Naaah. :p

Good lord, Kogagirl, you had to make this thread... I'll tell the truth, when I'm bored I act out a scene from an anime that I made , with some dramatic music playing on the stereo... (Hides face)

LOL. But yeah, you're not as wierd as Ol' Nomura Seshomaru Sasuke here!(My full anime name...)

When you ask for an anime specialty, I have two.
First is Inuyasha (big surprise there). I couldn't tell you how many hours I've spent watching i. (When I don't get new material, I'll watch over agian what I 've already seen.)
Secondly is Outlaw Star, which I have watched three times completely over. (I have spare time coming out of my ears, it seems) Already those to drastically different charactor casts and backgrounds send my mind buzzing.)
As for who coordinates it, I don't know yet. Lets wait until we have tallied up the people who wants to try this, then pick the most experienced (or whoever feels the most experienced).
Sorry that its off topic. I'd PM you, except I want people to join. (SO JOIN ALREADY!)

Okay, I performed a split & move here. I'm faintly irritated that no one bothered to PM or otherwise notify me/someone else about the shift in subjects... obviously you guys realized that it was swerving way off-topic. In the future, please be a little more proactive instead of just sitting back and waiting for staff to rectify the problem. Thanks.
