Anime Greatest Villain Ever

Just to prove some of my friends wrong I wanted to know who do you think is the greatest anime villan ever? In my opinion I'd have to say Zabuza from Naruto. I just hate how he got killed but who else do you know can move as fast as him with a sword that big?!

I would have to say that the best villian would have to be Enishi because he spent 15 years plotting revenge and perfecting a move that would defeat Kenshin's batto jutsu. Or maybe Gandolph from the legend of zelda I mean that guy just won't stop no matter how bad link beats hiss a**.

And then there was that time where he did those three huge, pretty hard bosses in the game... okay, Seymore, we get it that you hate Spira and want to kill us to rule the whole world.... but could you PLEASE just die already after we've flipping killed you FOUR TIMES ALREADY?!?!?!?!?!

In other words, Seymore is totally annoying and evil to the core, so he should at least be mentioned.

I think that the biggest villian/villians in all of anime has to be Haruko from Fooly Cooly. Now you're probably saying to yourself that i'm crazy; that she tried to help Noata and friends by saving their pathetic little town, but hear me out. So, here's how it goes.

Noata is just a small little kid in Elementary school; one year away from going into Junior High. He's pretty much getting some from his older brother's ex-girlfriend, and his life is not very complicated. Then all of a sudden .. BAM. He's hit by the evil Vespa woman, and his life is forever changed. She ruins his relationship with Mamimi, his father, and that guy with the huge eyebrows .. who he only met because of Haruko. She seduces young Noata to do her bidding, and it's never to help himself. It's always to help her. She never once thinks of how it will affect Noata, or anyone else in Mabase. She's doing it all for Artemis. In my opinion .. that's pretty darn conceded. And evil.

Now .. Haruko might not be the most evil villian of all time .. or even close, but she will always go down in my books as one mean biatch.[/SIZE][/COLOR][/FONT]

Anime Villains? Well, here's my list in no particular order...

[I]Knives from Trigun[/I] - He was just insane. His motives and what he strived for really just blows my mind.

[I]Legato BlueSummers from Trigun[/I]s - What I like about this guy is that Legato plays mind games with that particular person, especially that scar he left on Vash, talk about dedicated :animesmil

[I]Vicious from Cowboy Bebop[/I] - I just like this dude. Other then him saying such kick*ss lines every now an then, he I don't even now what to say. He just kicks *ss :animesmil

[I]BloodyHarry and Crew from GunGrave[/I] - His crew was just unstopable, especially harry. He was the brains and the organizer of the whole operation. I mean, his greed, may got the best of him. It was just crazy how powerfull he got.

hmmmm enishi is preety bad as far as villains from kenshin. but id say shishio is badder. he is in essence the anti kenshin. which is exactly what he was supposed to be. enishi has a reason to kill kenshin and thats revenge. shishio only wants him dead cuse hes in the way and he will have fun fighting him. in my book thats evil and an enjoyable fight to

Vegeta....he is just brutal. I know, he turns good after the Frieza saga, but I'm talking about the pure evil Vegeta. Ruthless, selfish, merciless, full of hate and anger...THAT has got to be a top notch villian. Not to mention he was willing to destroy Earth AND himself because Goku hurt his pride (not to mention his entire body). Then there is the deal on Namek. He only killed Gildo because he saw an opening, NOT to save Gohan and Krillian. Plus, he went to get the Dragon Balls for himself, leaving Goku to fight Burter and Jeice. Would YOU leave the person that just saved you to fight two guys alone?

I think Naraku from Inuyasha is pretty bad. You can't kill him. He keeps coming back. He kills for fun!

Vicious (Cowboy Bebop) - Heart as cold as ice. I don't think he cares if anyone lives or dies. He was straight bad to the fullest.

Legato (Trigun) - To be that calm and crazy. I haven't seen many villains like him.

Shishio (Rurouni Kenshin) - Almost took out all 4 "top fighters" in 15 minutes. He deserves a little recognition (think I spelled that wrong).

I think Legato Bluesummers from Trigun as well Knives just seemed so lame in comparison. I think the most evil would have to be the military/world leaders from any of the Gundam series always ready to take a loss from their people when necessary and having the most maniacal stubborn streak ever when it comes to decade old grudges.

I wouldn't necessarily call Vicious(Cowboy Bebop) a 'villian' in the truest sense, but I do consider him to be on that level as far as characters go.

He's just so...cold. His name describes him perfectly--Vicious wa vicious desu. He's a heartless sonofagun who cares about no body. A bad*ss indeed, but a frightening character too.

Also, Legato Bluesummers (Trigun) of the Gung-Ho Guns is another frightening character. My thoughts on him are the same as Vicious--cold, heartless, lack of respect for human life what so ever. Plus the way he just tormented Vash...yep, he's high on my villians list.

I guess the most evil villains I've ever"ran into" were in manga that have not yet been motion animated. I know this is asking about anime villains, but I think manga might apply to this forum, too.

Shira from Blade of the Immortal. And alot of the characters from Ichi the Killer. They are so twisted and sadistic, and their life is devoted to torturing living things. Even torturing themselves.

Take Shira for example, who got his hand whacked off. Afterwards he carves his arm's bones into a sharp object so he can stab people with it even though he often blacked out from the pain in the process. :animestun

Well, that's EVIL. I just realized you asked for GREATEST villains. Hm... Even though ENISHI seems like a big baby because of his whole sister "thing," I think he fits as a really great villain because he held a grudge for so long, built himself up, and had a pretty good plan going... Also, GRIFFITH from Berserk who sacrificed himself and other people who were close to him to achieve his dream. ANOTSU from the manga, Blade of the Immortal is a really good villain, too, because he has so much coolness, control, and reason.

I would have to go with Kuroudo Akabane from Getbackers. The guy gives me chills because he is completely without remorse about what he does. He is also very, VERY sadistic. I mean, he does a job, not for the money, but for how much enjoyment he can squeeze out of it (enjoyment being read as "slaughtering as many people as he can until he finds a worthy opponent).

Anyway, I haven't seen much anime but I'm giving my vote to Shishio. His body was burnt all over and he was still a hard fight despite of it. If he was not in a bad medical condition, there's a possibility that Kenshin will lose.

why you ask... what kind of a animal/person would follow any one (let alone a group of people even if they are in differnt areas) through a deasert planet. a spy thats who. thats right he is working for knives. he even gets prouduct placement. have you ever done an image serch for him, you will see that alot if not most of the pics are of peoples black cats, so i have come to the conclusion that between the show, the numourus toys of this cat, and all the people naming their cat after him, the truth is that kinves is really after us all and he is the one and only true villan out there, cause he does knives bidding.

I would have to say Naraku from Inuyasha, come one why fight someone who can re-generate with a never ending supply of Demon parts? What's the point? And have you seen his new form...ouch. i think Scar from Fullmetal Alchemist is a very good villain he is very fast and blows peoples insides up with his right hand i believe, and kills them instantly! he has never been caught and probably never will be. he hates alchemists but yet what i don't get is he uses alchemey to kill w/e he is still a good villain!
