(Girl oriented, but guys could post what they prefer.)

As you all know, clothes are very important in the perception of a person- especially by the opposite sex. Girls, in particular, judge a guy by what he's wearing, if not just by his looks.

The question is, what do girls prefer nowadays? Do you girls go for that "manly man" look- hair cut short, jeans and T-shirt, muscles showing (though that attracts regardless of dress), and work boots?

Or is it the other way nowadays? Do girls like the transexual look on a guy? (Ex. long hair, pink shirts, tight muscle shirt, necklaces, bracelets, Puma shoes, and tight jeans) Which way do you like guys dressing?

Do you prefer your own style, not mentioned here? If you do, be sure to mention it.

Basically, the question is, do you prefer masculine or feminine looking guys?

And hygiene is a given in both cases. No need to mention that.

Being the weirdo that I am, I like things from both sides. I like the necklaces and bracelets, because that usually shows sensitivity in a guy. But I also like the work boots and jeans idea. ^.~

So, I guess I'd like something from both worlds. A little masculine (muscly enough to look good, but not too muscly. Gotta have something to hug!), a little feminine.

I am really into guys that are manly with long black hair. Say for instance, Native Americans. I prefer some muscle-although not too many. I don't like veins popping out everywhere. I like some jewelry-bracelets and necklaces-stud earrings are okay. :animesmil :catgirl:

Well... you can't be too specific, and it doesn't all depend on clothes and looks. And every girl has a different interest.

But... I guess I like a mix. I don't like the really buffed up look... I like the more slim guys... I guess you could call it effeminite, the way I'm seeing it.

Not too tall, just tall enough to lean on...

But the tight pants I don't like, baggy pants are nice (hold it up with a belt though, no need to see what's underneath while in class), but... I don't care what shirt... Baggy or tight, either way... And those braclets and necklaces would be nice too, I suppose...

But either way, doesn't matter. When you find someone, they aren't going to fit your description.

I'm more of a 'surfy' chick. The guys I find myself most attracted to are pretty much laid-back, sporty (but not too sporty/obsessed), funny, not too serious, and well I guess looks would be a great bonus, but at the moment I'm not too fussed if I get a boyfriend or not.. I don't like the 'baggy pants' look with the boxers showing, but I'm not a fan of having the shirt tucked in, either. Basically a casual look is what I'd go for.

I hate that transexual look. I wouldn't be caught dead dressed like that. Personally, I go for the natural more organic approach; scruffy hair, standard jeans, a t-shirt underneath a shirt, and a hoody, plus I let my facial hair grow the way it does... none of that trimming or clipping BS.

I kind of like the rock-star look, too. But I wouldn't know because I'm generally too embarrassed to be stylish... when I go outside overly dressed I feel that everyone's watching me for some reason.

I never really thought about it....I'm not a big fan of the super maculine peoples(way too full of themselves(most of them anyway) and it's kinda gross when people are sooo muscily(sp?) that it looks like they'll pop...)
Short and simple, I guess it would have to be the guy with the 'bad guy' looks, without(or with) the 'bad guy' attitude.
