RPG The Mourning After [M-V, L very likely]

Thomas had to practically drag Cerebrus down the sidewalk. Which was no easy feat mind you. The usually fearless beast was wimpering, refusing to search the ground for any trace of the others.

"Move it! Useless mutt!" he teased. The dog only wimpered more. "Aw come on. I didn't mean it."

They kept walking, or rather trudging, along the dark street for several more hours. Making little progress, Tom decided that it would be best if they called it a night. He found an abondoned park nearby and the two slid into an uncomfortable sleep out of view from the surrounding city.

Tom woke up and saw a very large gun in his face. At the other end was a man, or a woman, in equally large armor. There was a large orange V on their left shoulder. Vulcan.

"Is the baby done sleeping?" they asked. Tom swore to himself. He hated the voice deepeners those Vulcans used. It always made the fight a little harder.

"You do know that I'm not alone, right?" he asked, trying to look around for Cerebrus.

The person in the suit laughed. "Yeah right, kid. You must've escaped from the asylum. No problem, just come with me, and nothing bad will happen to you."

"It's not me I'd be worried about."

"What's that suppossed to," the Vulcan stopped at the same time a very deep growl came from behind them. Whoever it was didn't have time to turn around.

Cerebrus attacked with astounding speed, and even greater ferocity. He reared up onto his hind legs and let his claws and gravity do the rest. The armor tore like tissue beneath the obsidian like claws, and the Vulcan's spine was snapped almost down the middle. Needless to say, there was blood everywhere.

Tom walked up beside his pet, and stracthed him behind the one ear he could reach. "One down. Who knows how many more to go. Too bad we didn't get to see this one use their weapon. Delta class fighter. One of the best we've seen, right boy?" Cerebrus answered by licking Tom's face. "You're right. Let's find the others first."

And they were off.

Kyo looked on both sides of the ally as Kai, his dragon, growled behind him. "What is it boy? We need to be quiet, people may hear us." Kyo said, turning around. His face got blank when he saw what Kai was growling at. It was a Vulcan. And by the looks of it, a good one at that.

"Ok, Kai. Just like we practiced ok?" He saw the dragon give a small nod as it began to glow. A dim white light began to light the ally as the Vulcan charged the overgrown dragon, big mistake.

"Listen boy, your dragon is no match in a place this cramped." The guy said as he tried to get around the dragon. Kai shifted his weight to the side the Vulcan tried to go through, but the limited space really worked for Kai.

"Now, Kai. Make it quick." Kyo yelled as Kai quickly grabbed the Vulcan by teh leg and began to sling it around in the air, knocking it agianst the sides of the buildings around them. After about a minute of this, Kai dropped the Vulcan, it landing in a bluddy pulp, bones broken all over its body.

"Good job Kai. Lets go find a place to rest out of the way." Kyo said, patting the dragon under its wing.

[Hayama]

[COLOR=Sienna][FONT=Book Antiqua]Seimei woke up to an empty apartment. He knew that as soon as he noticed the $50 bill on the kitchen counter beside a note that read: [I]Back in a week (business trip) this is for food only.[/I] Uncle Mark was gone? what was new?

[I]?My business doesn?t stop just because my stupid sister got herself killed and dumped me with a kid.? [/I] That was all Seimei seemed to hear from the selfish, arrogant man.

Being alone, however, was not without its perks. Seimei stuffed the cash into his jeans pocket and went back to his bedroom.

?You can come out, Inari. He?s gone.?

A small, red fox slipped out from under Seimei?s bed and, in a burst of heatless sliver flames, it morphed into a huge, nine-tailed fox. It watched silently as its master flopped down on the bed.

?Change into something inconspicuous, we?re going to see if we can track some of those bastards down today,? Seimei muttered, rolling over.

Inari obeyed and when Seimei sat up, in the beast?s place stood a beautiful young woman, dressed in a kimono. She gazed innocently at Seimei with her golden eyes.

?I?m not in the mood for games Inari. I said something INconspicuous,? Seimei ordered.

With a sly smile and another flash of sliver light, the young woman was now dressed in jeans and a black sweatshirt.

?Better,? Seimei said tersely. He stood up and walked past the fox. ?Let?s go.?[/FONT][/COLOR]

[COLOR=SeaGreen]"No uncle I'm leaving leave me alone."theo said as he slamed the door shut behind him.
"Come on griffin lets get out of this place."he said as the giant griffin leped out of the window and onto the street.
He walked around for quite a while until he got tired then he walked to the school grounds and sat on the bench. He wasn't there for more than 20 seconds when he saw someone coming. He look at the shirt and he noticed the V on it.
"Griffin get ready to fight because here comes trouble."he said as the man got closer.
"What do you want?" Theo said as the man reached them.
"You Know what I want I want you dead."the man said.
"Then we should fight, Go griffin."theo said
The man was instantly backed into the fence and clawed across the chest.Griffin came back as the man slid down the fence dead. [/COLOR]

[Angel Lover]

[COLOR=SlateGray]James stood beside a bulding, Pheonix's wing over his head.
"Would you cut that out that stupid fire is getting really hot." James snapped batting at pheonixs wing
In response Pheonix spat a fire ball at his feet. He lept back in suprise onto an mans foot. He slowly turened around to face a Vulcan.
"Crap." he mutered under his breath "I reallly hate these people. PHOENIX help would be nice."
Pheonix screamed in response and flew to his side. His body seemed to brun brghter and hotter. James nodded at him and Pheonix shot towards the Vulcan. The Vulcan laughed and stepped to the side.
"That was your attack. It was pitaful."
"Of course that was npot my attack...that was my attack." James said lauging as the man lay sproled on the ground shouting in pain from the ball of flames shot at him from behind.
"Would you just kill him burning flesh is gross."
Pheonix screamed againg and finshed off the man. James nodded a thanks and walked out of tha allyway. he ran his fingers through his hair while he waited for his "pet" to catch up. It was late out and he needed to find a place to rest quickly. [/COLOR]

[Darth Vectis]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Kain had been walking down the street, Chimera was high in the sky, watching him with its vulter head. He soon entered a park where he sat on a bench, Chimera settled in a tree near by. Kain relaxed as a man came and sat next to him, both of them looked as if they were regular men.

[B]"The falcons fly high today."[/B] Kain said to the man.

[B]"Vulcans fly low."[/B] The man responded, Kain smiled and handed the man a brown envelope, the man undid the clip and opened it. He looked a little puzzled.

"Where are the pictuers for the next hit?"[/B] Kain looked at him.

"Those are the next hit."[/B] The man looked at the pictuers and back at Kain.

"But this looks like you."[/B] Kain looked at the pictuers and grinned.

"That is me, I killed the other Vulcan who was supposed to deliver these to you. Had to tortuer him for hours to get the code."[/B] The man stood up and reached into his pocket and pulled out a small hand gun. Kain stayed on the bench, he smirked.

"Whats so funny? I'm the one with the gun, and your still the hit."[/B] Kain looked at the man.

"True, but I've got him."[/B] Kain pointed into the tree and the man looked, the snake head bolted out of the tree and snatched the man up. He got a shrill, short scream out and the snake head pulled him in, the other heads pulled him apart. Chimera jumped out of the tree and rubbed up against Kain, he patted each head and stayed on the bench.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Hayama]

[FONT=Book Antiqua][COLOR=Sienna]Seimei knew where the local Vulcan lair was and Seimei knew that they were aware he lived in the area. He didn?t expect to be killed on the street corner in broad daylight. Oh no. They would try to drag him into an alley or murder him when he was walking at night. He was his parents? child, and that meant they wanted him dead. However, they were still a secretive organization. They would try to avoid making headlines.

That was why Seimei and Inari had to wait until nightfall. They spent the day all over the city, and noticed more than once that they were being watched. Things were going exactly to plan.

When dusk finally came, Seimei led Inari to a deserted area of the city park. They sat on a park bench, pretending to be watching the river. Inari was tense and jumpy. It could tell Vulcans were approaching.

?Don?t you dare give us away,? Seimei whispered. ?I am your master because I broke your seal and freed you. I say we have to wait until they are all close enough. You will not attack until I tell you to, that?s an order Inari.?

The kitsune, still in the shape of a human girl, nodded slowly.

?Good,? Seimei whispered. He couldn?t understand why the fox cared so much about killing the Vulcans. It was always like this, anxiously anticipating the fight.

Suddenly there was a hand over Seimei?s mouth and a knife pressed to his throat. Seimei looked over at Inari to find the fox in the same situation.

?You?re the Akiyama kid,? someone snickered, ?but who?s your pretty friend? What should we do with her after we kill you, hm??

Seimei could see the rage in Inari?s gold eyes, it wanted these Vulcans dead. It was time to let the fox do what it wanted. Seimei nodded his head ever so slightly. That was Inari?s signal?[/COLOR][/FONT]
