[COLOR=DarkRed]It's a question which I had asked so many years ago when I was living back in Australia; It's simple to ask but almost impossible to answer. My parents were always trying to order me around and were suffocating me. I don't know what compelled me to say it but it felt damn good to let it off my chest...... At least it did twenty years ago. Now I'm divorced with two kids, a morgage and a bloody cramped house. I have a feeling that my kids will ask me that very same question soon and I would be unable to answer like my parents were twenty years ago.[/COLOR]

Background Story overview: The story is about two teenage twins who have lived a life of being suffocated by their dads strict rules and regulations when out of nowhere their father purchases them an apatment in Los Angeles for no particular reason for the two to live there. When they arrive they are given a life forth of opportunities which they must balance with school life and working.

I will be taking on the role of the male of the twins while the girl is open. The other people are just inhabitants of LA that the two get to know.

Personality: He's a decent guy. Hard worker and is loyal to his friends. He likes talking with others, but tends to be a little shy around people he dosen't know. He likes reading and video games. He's kind of nerdy sometimes.

Bio: He was born in Washington state and lived with his parents in Tocoma. About three years ago they both died and he moved to California to live with his Grandfather. Once he graduated high school he left for college almost immediatly and took to it well. About six months into the year, his grandfather passed away. Suddenly he was alone in the world again. He didn't have any brothers or sisters and no aunts or uncles. He moved to a small apartment off campus and lives by himself. He took up a life on his computer and runs an opinion poll web site where he discusses things like politics, pop culture, vidoe games and anime (Yeah, he's a nerd, I thought I coverd that). recently two kids just moved in next door and he's taken an intrest in why the two young kids are suddenly living on there own.

[b]Occupation:[/b] She works Part Time in a Local Arcade. She hes fix money jams in machines and even works behind the counter serving drinks and snacks when she needs to. She does this later after school.

[b]Personality:[/b] She is quite open and speaks her mind most of the time. However when things look bad or just uncomfortable she finds it very good to just keep quiet. She likes most people but hasnt socialized as much as she wanted to. With her job she is sometimes forced to wear costumes from the different games or her bosses favorite shows and games even if they arent playable in his arcade. She doesnt mind this and enjoys the whole dress up part. She seems to always have a cheery face one no matter how uncomfortable a costume may be. She loves Halloween and so this particular part of her job is like the fun part of the holiday without the cavities. Overall bright person. Quite different from her brother.

[B]Personality:[/B] Alan is naturally quiet and rarely says anything that isn't worth listening to. He has a sense of humour which is so pointed it can cause fatalities but despite this he will rarely laugh at anything which he doesn't consider humorus even if everyone else are. He socialises quite well for the life that he has lived but it isn't what he would have wanted.
Sometimes he will just recede into his room with his prize possessions (His Sandman graphic novels) and not come out for ages which makes some people believe he only cares about those but that isn't true. He just doesn't care for much else at the time.
