Born: Groton, Conneticut.

Big change of environment, and even though I've been here for five years, I still haven't adapted to the climate (except for winter and sometimes fall).

I was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and my family moved to Canada when I was 7. Been living here in the same city ever since.

Yeah big change in envorinment for me too.

In Saudi, we barely had outings during the daytime. Most outings (like going to the playground) were done at night because it's alot cooler at night. I miss the days my dad used to take us into the desert at night for picnics. Sigh.. good times.

The sidewalks were lined with date palm trees rather than deciduous trees (go figure!). Date palms are really easy to climb. Their trunks are really rough, the "scales' actually stick out like footholds!

Canada on the other hand has freezing cold weather for 2/3 of the year. And the sidewalks are lined with maples usually. Lol

I live in Vermont. Yes, it's a state; The Green Mountian State. And it's within New England, so I just like to say I live in New England. It's really surprising how many Americans ask me "What state is Vermont in?". Whenever I'm asked that, I die a little inside.

So yeah, we're the guys who make REAL maple syrup. That's pretty much all we're good for. Oh, and snow. We get tons of snow. Cold... cold snow *cries*.

Wow... that sounds like it sucks pretty bad XD. But hey, at least you have some pride in the place you live. I would like nothing more than to fly into outer space and fire a huge laser down as Virginia and laugh as I watch it burn to the ground. It's not that I particularly hate this state its just a total Mabase (for non FLCL fans I mean to say that nothing exciting ever happens here).

Try living in North Carolina, nothing happens at school nothing happens anywhere, the town its dead for all sakes, the most action I've seen is the little japanese kids from upstairs jumping up and downs and waking everyone up at 4:00 am :animestun

Meh, I'd like to move there one day... Either there or Alaska, or Denver. (Any place cold) In the summer how hot does it get there because I cannot stand heat whatsoever. >_>

In any case.
I was born and raised in Detroit Michigan. Living in the same household for 20 years. (As far as I can tell anyway. My parents said I was born in another house but I don't remember it, so.... oh well) I'm neutral about Detroit. I don't hate nor do I like living here.

You know who makes the syrup Stuart... Your sharing a boarder with her!

I live in Quebec, Canada right now. Have my entire life. The area I live in is called the Eastern Townships, wich is basically a collection of Townships, Bergs, and the like. They vary in size from very large to minsicule... and I live in one of the miniscule ones. Goes by the name of Foster. Very remote, not many people and those are spread out amongst a large area. But it's one of the most beautiful locations your likely to find. I wouldn't live anywhere else.

Well, I am originally from Nigeria. Then I moved down here to Florida with my family when I was 2. It's nice here( I guess since I've lived here most of my life). The only thing that's not the greatest is the "winter weather" and the hurricanes. You have to wait until mid to late November before it starts to get cold. So right now for instance, I can walk outside in a t'shirt and shorts. No joke. The hurricanes are bummer too. Not having power for 2 -10 days isn't really the greatest. Especially in Floriday humidity.:animesigh

Bah, to all of you who live in the north. I am stuck down here in crummy Texas where it NEVER snows (at leats in the city I live in. So polluted...) Secretly, though, I yearn to live in Deutchland (Mein Hert ist Deutch) but I have yet the means to reach it. And so here I am, stuck with abomidably hot summers and winters, wishing it would snow and wanting to speak in German to random passer-bys.

I went to Quebec City, and I loved it! It was so nice! The pictures I took looked like it was off a post card.

Now, I live in Ontario, Canada.

I've been living in the same city and house for my whole life. I like living here because it's very multicultural. I learned how to swear in so many languages. Another plus is that people in my school are idiots, so around every holiday, the set off fireworks in the school. The set some off the other day... I got out of class because it set off the fire alarm (which is bad), but it was so cold outside! :animeangr

But, what I love about Canada, is the four seasons! It gives me something to complain about. Like the fact that someone couldn't set off the alarm on a nice day.

I used to live in the Philippines for less than a year. Then for about a year or two, I lived in Long Beach, California. I currently live in Japan and have been here for over 12 years already. It's really nice here. I like it a lot.

Whoa, Vermont's a state? News to me.

I was born, raised and live in San Antonio, Texas. It's a great city to live in but I don't really care to list a ton of reasons why. Just take my word for it.

That's a blessing to me. Who wants to deal with all that crap every year? lol.

Oh well. Texas for life, ya'll. :p

I live in Northern California, Bay Area. It's supposedly a desirable place to live because our main city is San Francisco (I live like 45 mins away from it) but I live in Sonoma County where everyone says "Hella" and thinks its cool because people from the bay area created it. But honestly it's not that bad....especially for the green day fans.

Interesting, most interesting.

I hail from the region in the Republic of Ireland known as Tipperary, and no before you start singing or humming "It's a long way to Tipperary", that song is about a bordello in London. I've lived in Tipperary all my life, whether it be in Clonmel, the largest town in Tipp where I was born and raised for about seven years or out in the countryside under the majestic view of Slievenamon where I've lived for the past eleven years. Ireland gets lovely mild summers and fairly mild winters and the South East where Tipperary lies gets the best of both those conditions.

Ah there you would be wrong my friend. I live down in texas and it does snow! I mean its not like we get six inches of snow but it does snow here. I mean today when I woke up and went outside it was fourtr degrees outside. I almost froze my imaginary tail off it was so cold. However as you can see I am in texas recently. However I started life out life in california. After moving around three different times within california I finally came out here to texas around five years ago.

I live in the Evergreen State: Washington. Many times if I tell someone online were I live they think I mean DC, not the state. Oh well. I live in the small town of Moses Lake in the Columbia Basin which is located pretty much in the middle of the state. It is very hot and dry here and lots of farms. No evergreens, just sage brush. We really are the desert part of the state. Many people are suprised since they think the entire state is just Seattle. You know: Rain, Starbucks and Grunge music.

Tell me about it... >:/

Well, the climate in here Finland is about the same as Canada (we are located on the same latitudes), meaning there's snow from November till April, and we have a heatwave in July lasts two weeks.

There are odd changes in the weather sometimes, though. Like last week, it began to snow and it covered the ground totally, and in few days it was all gone. 8/

Last year we had a huge heatwave at September, and it isn't unheard of that there's still snow on the ground and May.

But enough about weather, there's one big thing that separates Finland from Canada (and from almost every other country in the world).

Finland is no small country, it's over a thousand kilometres long, spanning from the Baltic Sea to near the Arctic Ocean, and has three neighboring countries (Russia, Sweden and Norway).

Yet, there's only five million people living here. You can only imagine how scattered they are throughout the country. In the capital, Helsinki, which is by far the biggest city in Finland (and also the city where I was born), there's only a little over half a million people - and people from the countryside call it "crowded".

It really puts things into perspective, when in the wide world a city with five million people is regarded as "medium sized". :/

I currently live in a city with 100 000 people, Lahti (the center of winter sports in Finland), where I study, but I intend to move back to Helsinki as soon as possible, because this town really is dead - nothing but old ladies here. :P
