"Alcina, no!" Diane shrieked in horror as Talon kicked her best friend in the face, blacking her out.
Careful here my greedy little host, the neutral has her now, we don't know what he's capable of...we'll get her back though. With or without the others...Darkness and Destruction never did really care much for Lust's hosts - I don't think she ever did either... this time when Greed trailed off - as he usually did - it had more of an impact on Diane. She had almost had enough, and there was an odd hunger inside of her. It itched at her mind and sent her into a state of semi-rage.
"I'll get that bastard..." she whispered under her breath.

She cursed Karne for sending Alcina to fight, she cursed Sena for not doing his thing and finishing off the neutral quickly. She cursed herself for interferring by increasing Talon's hungering lust for Alcina. Something had gone seriously wrong back there. Neither of the girls had full grasp of their powers, whereas the male team members were almost completely in control of every action they made.
Whilst she was thinking to herself, Greed blocked her out and began communicating with the other stones.

Diane here is furious - her rage is almost unstoppable...let us feed to her innermost desires and fuel her rage. Darkness, this is the point in which you give the "go-ahead" for Destruction to influence my host...she is a more useful tool than I had originally thought... Greed had begun to plan ways to use Diane the minute he noticed how close she was to Alcina.
Maybe. I will think about this. Do not think you can influence me though Greed. You always were the power-hungry one, constantly trying to take the lead. Darkness replied, although Karne was able to hear the entire conversation between the stones.
I am more than willing to use my destructive powers on the girl - I can feel how enraged she is. This would be a chance to show Sena here how he can not only use my powers for himself, but on others too, Destruction piped up. Sena nodded and smiled.
I said I'd think about it, and that's final. This is no simple thing to attempt. If your host takes things too far, we could have a rogue stone on the loose. Surely you realise this Greed?
Ah, there's the beauty of it my Dark lord. If Diane here becomes too much of a handful, I'll just have to unleash my full power over her, won't I? Either that or drop her for another host... as Greed trailed off, he could sense Darkness and Destruction warm up to the idea of using Diane as a tool, rather than a member of the team. There had always been a reason behind Greed choosing a female host, and it was now clear as to why that was.
Choosing a male would mean Greed would be linked too strongly to the host to simply use it as a tool. This way, Greed could play the puppet master, which is exactly what he had intended all along.

"You're quiet, speak up already smartass!" Diane snapped at her stone.
Just thinking things through, my dear, just thinking things through... Greed said with a hint of satisfaction in his voice.

It was great that they were all finally together, but now what were they suppose to do? Sandra knew that she could help by healing and by using her protective barrier, but she really didn?t know how to fight. She was sure she could perhaps influence those of the darkness by helping them to remember the memories they had before they were influenced by the darkness. But beyond that she wasn?t sure.

It won?t work. Happiness said.

What won?t work? She thought back at the stone.

You can help them to remember what made them happy, but some of them were already a servant of the darkness long before they were chosen. Like the one you encountered the day we met. They had not transformed yet and I could tell that the host already had darkness in their heart. The stones of darkness often choose hosts who already posses their traits. It?s makes the bonding easier. Happiness said. So even though you can bring those memories back to them, it may not be enough to remove their bond to their stone.

I see. Did you choose me because of my abilities? Sandra thought.

Yes. It will make the battle easier. For now don?t worry about the battle as the others will be there. Bernard and Kain will guide you. And so will I. Happiness said.

Bernard motioned for everyone to follow him. Sandra wondered if they were heading to fight the darkness, or simply to a more secure place to discuss their strategy. It was hard to tell where the darkness was without being closer. She could tell that it was here, but not where it was. Sandra continued to follow Bernard and the others.

Sasha wanted to speak up but she thought that no one would listen to her like other times. Instead of speaking out she kept her mouth shut and followed the others. 'I hope we are going somewhere to work on our strategy instead of going straight to the darkness,'she thought to herself behind the group.

'It all depends on what the leader wants. If he thinks we are ready to fight the darkness then we shall follow after him,'said Fear clearly into Sasha's mind.

'But I don't think I'm quite that ready. I may have completed my transformation but I don't have any fight abilities within me.'

'That is what Kain and Benard are here for. I suspect they will be the greater fights. Sandra and you will help them in battles.'Fear said stopping there.

Sasha nodded understanding a bit. 'I'll just do my best,'she thought to herself.

Karen put a hand on Diana's shoulder. "We will get your firend back. Don't worry" He turned and closed his eyes. His stone gave him the poer to know where they all were. He located Alcine and his eyes snapped open and he hopped in his truck. "Let's go" The other piled in as he took off down the road. Two cops cars spotted his truck and pulled in front of him. "Ohh, look they made me a ramp." He ran over the cars before the cops had time to get out of the cars. "Whoops" He stopped at an a building and got out. He got out and grabbed the door by the edges and ripped it off. "Heloo there. Sena pest control" He smiled at Talon as Diana peeked around the corner.

"what" Karne said
"dont punish Alcina I slipped the medallion during our 1st meet thats why she didnt kill me and kissed me instead he handed Karne a pair of sisoccrors
"cut the meddalion with this it wont come off unless you do" Talon said
"GO ahead kill me" he said Sena stood up and smiled
"wait" Talon said
"what!" Sena snapped
"I want you to stab me in the stomach so I can look at ALcina before I die" he said Sena walked up and stabbed him in the gut as blood seeped from his shirt he smiled as the three other darknesses left leaving him and ALcina he got on his knees and smiled up at her
"I love you...I know you'll do the right thing" he said he pointed to her pocket Alcina reached out
"It's... healing elixer" he said

"Pfft...stupid fool...he let the greed engulf him" Diane scowled.
Careful, something up his sleeve, there is...
"Quiet Yoda! Enough of you! I'm in control and you're not taking me like Lust did to Alcina. I'll do as I bloody well wish!" she almost screamed at the golden gem.
Control your host Greed, she's almost out of your grasp and you know it. It's becomming obvious to us all now, hissed Darkness, the black stone letting off a sattin glow, showing its agitation at Greed's inability to maintain control.
Diane rushed Talon as he said something to Alcina.
"It's...healing elixir," he said, but Diane heard nothing but Greed's screaching voice in her head.
STOP YOU FOOL! IT'S A TRAP!
Diane stopped in mid-step, halfway over to the neutral, hands extended into devilish claws, her entire form hunched into a gargoyle-like figure. He face twitched and contorted. It seemed there was an internal battle of some kind.
I said to stop, not to freeze completely! What've you set off?
"I dont know, you tell me smartass! If you hadn't tried to stop me we wouldn't be stuck here would we?!" she yelled right back in her mind.
The sun's light had begun seeping through the window, and Diane had just been unfortunate enough to step right into the new daylight.
"Ungh! My body...feels s-so cold...what's hap...happening? Tell me..tell me"
You're transforming back into your original state. Weakling. I'm taking over from here. You can have your body back at dusk, when my powers are strong enough for the both of us to share in...

Diane's normal form slumped to the floor, lifeless.
Her eyes openned slowly, but instead of the normal blue pupils, they were a brighter gold than her peroxided hair.
Her limp body tensed, then gradually began to get up.
"Get out..."
"Heya guys, everything's ok now...I have everything under control. Just a few hiccups. Along the road to complete and utter control..." she said.
"I said get out!"
No...
Sena and Karne nodded, unnaware that Greed was actually controlling Diane's every movement. Greed had her blocked out, so she couldn't even make her thoughts known to the others.
Darkness and Destruction didn't realise either. Greed was too intent on keeping this new host to himself.
You're all mine now...no one else can share you with me...not until dusk... he whispered to her, cackling manically.

Alcina was too busy watching a stupid, ignorant fool take his life. Well, technically he didn't do it, but he just asked for it. And he had the nerve to give me a damn elixer to save him. All the more reason why you should toss the thing. But what about this little problem. She thought, plainly it meant the medallion. Yeah, I don't know what we're going to do about that. Alcina then looked at Karne.

"I didn't do anything. Don't believe him." She said almost pleadingly. He and Sena were too busy glaring at Talon though. She wanted to scream at Talon though. You idiot! Why did you do that? Maybe it was better, but you're dying so very slowly. She stood to her feet for she had fallen when he had came to her. She was tired of it. She was tired of him.

"Just let it end." Was all she said, it did not mean the war, but it meant she wanted him gone.

Talon looked on and grabbed ALcina's ankle
"If...your not going to save me...atleast take this" he said weakly pulling out his stone
"think... about it you with a darkness stone but also with a stone that lets you have a new insight of things you'd be twice as powerful as you were" He smiled weakly
"you know that you've been wanting power more than Karne so think about what you could do knowing Karne weakness" he said sliding the stone to her feet passing out he saw his body as a spirit he decided to follow Alcina as a spirit she couldnt see him or hear him but he was there he smirked as he bean to kiss her neck she couldnt feel him either

Karne looked over the body of Talon and bowed to one knee. "Sena dig a hole. Alcine, please hand me that"

Alcine looked at him with curisoty in her eyes. "Why should I?"

"It deserves to be buried with its rightful master. Besides, we have more important things to worry about" He made a slit nod to Diana, who wasn't acting herself. "If you don't trust me enough, then you can put it in the hole. He cared about you and it wasn't right to let him die like that. Everyone deserves a right to die in battle. Just because i am dark and evil does not mean that I don't have a sense of loyalty and honor to my allies as well to my enemies" He helped Sena dig a grave and lowered Taolon's body into it. Kanre took our the knife and cleaned it. "Now or never"

Alcina dropped the stone into Karne's hand. She looked away. She didn't know why she felt this, but it hurt, terribly. Give it just a little time. I promise you won't worry about it. Alcina nodded subconsciously. She didn't know what she was going to do, but she looked back at him. Blood caked his front. She kissed his forehead.

"Rest peacefully," she whispered to him. It hurt her heart, but she didn't cry. She was evil, she did not feel sympathy toward his murder. Though Karne was right, no one should have to die like that.

Talon smirked in his ghost body he floated down Alcina still had the elixir he quicky phased into her body and made her take out the potion and stare at it she didnt know why but he made sure she saw the part where it said any wound any time then exited putting the potion in her pocket again he smiled
"she returned to me again and kissed me again she might still be saved" he sighed floating along near the darks

What a fool. Sena thought as he watched the neutral die. If he had just stayed away he would still be alive. At least for now, but he had been obsessed with Lust and just like Destruction had said, it was like a poison and he had been consumed by it. Even in the end the fool thought that she would save him.

When Karne told him to help dig a grave to bury him he did as he was told. Personally he could care less about a grave, but if darkness wanted one then he would do as told. Obviously they still had aspects of their humanity if they felt no one should die like that. It made no sense to him. You destroyed your enemy and he chose to die without a fight. Not his problem.

But it bothered him, something was off and he couldn?t tell what it was. First of all the waves of greed from Diane felt strange somehow and he instinctively knew it was not because she had changed back for the day. But he didn?t know why it felt off. And Alcina was attempting to hide it but for one trained as he was it was obvious she was hurt by the neutral?s death.

Your companions are flawed. He thought accusingly at Destruction. I can understand a bit why Darkness would provide a grave but both Lust and Greed are unstable and unpredictable.

Destruction just laughed. Of course they are! They are female after all.

And how does that affect things? Sena thought.

They posses the power of creation as all females do. It makes forming a bond a bit chancier than it does to form one with a male. Destruction said.

Then why bother choosing them? Sena thought back.

Once again Destruction laughed. Because women are instinctively more attuned to greed and Lust, as males are more prone to darkness and destruction. Destruction paused and then continued. I can tell that you don?t fully trust them. Good. The only one you should trust is Darkness. Karne is well suited to the task. Continue to keep an eye on both of them. Remember, even if their hosts are a bit off, their power is still quite useful to our cause.

Sena sighed inwardly as he felt himself changing back to normal. He still felt a bit of the effects of the transformation but most of it faded away. He looked down and saw that his clothing was back to normal. He sighed inwardly again. Sure the neutral was dead, but he been hoping to look for those who possessed the stones of light. He waited to see what Karne wanted to do next.

"You know they can tell something is different. Even though they may not be able to tell what exactly, they can sense something is wrong with my body." Diane said to Greed, "They're going to figure it out by nightfall and you know it...that's why you're releasing me at that time isn-"
Shuttup girl. There is a reason why I have taken control of you. You are too unpredictable, and you do not understand all that is going on here. This is greater than just Dark versus Light, and more important than Karne, Alcina, Sena and yourself.
"You say that, but you only mean the latter..."
At least you are able to see through lies well enough. I have you contained inside of the gold stone because if we are going to be of any use to Darkness, we must be on the same level. We need to see head to head before Darkness is going to allow us to continue on as a pair.
Greed noticed Alcina reach into her pocket out of the corner of his eye. There was a hint of a smile at the corners of her mouth, but as Greed turned Diane's head, all the golden pair saw was the same Alcina that had been sitting there a second ago.
The neutral that tailed us is gone, but if memory serves me there was another...one more involved with the Light stones...
"What makes you say Talon is gone? You said yourself that there was a trap, but it hasn't yet appeared. Why dismiss him completely now?" Diane began to think about things to herself, keeping quiet and ignoring Greed again. She became more like Greed had been before he had taken control of her body.

The Diane-vessel walked over to where Alcina had just sat down and crouched next to her.
"Hey, how're you going? Holding up ok?" she asked her long-time friend.
My dear Lust, be a little more careful with your host. She is becoming more and more torn apart by your ways. The human conscience is one of the barriers we must destroy before we take on the new Light hosts...
"I'm alright...I don't know what came over me. I j-just lost control," Alcina replied, unnaware of Greed's communication with Lust.
"Okay, well we're all here, and all going through similar crap to you. You know you can talk to me still, right?" the Greed-Diane said soothingly.

"I don't like what you're doing...but I won't fight it. I have more time to think this way," Diane paused, then began to speak to Greed again "... I'm not sure...but I think I have an idea about what is going on with the neutral and his trap...he chose to die..."
I know that, it was obvious that he was infatuated with your friend! What's your point?
"He didn't choose to die for her love...there's something else, but I can't explain it...let me think it over a little more...I wasn't ready to make a point..."

Sandra continued to follow the others as they walked through the city. She didn?t like how it felt like they were getting closer and closer to the darkness.

I?m not ready! She thought!

Relax, Happiness said to her. We will not be confronting the darkness just yet.

But they feel so close! Sandra protested.

That is because if you look in that direction those of the darkness are there. Happiness said.

She looked to the left and far off in the distance she could see what appeared to be five people clustered together. They were far enough that she couldn?t tell if they were guys or girls.

So close. She thought.

But not close enough. Happiness whispered in her mind. They are preoccupied with what just happened and do not even sense your presence. Besides we are up on a hill and the only way to reach us would take at least 15 minutes even if they used a car. We will be long gone by then.

Sandra continued to look at them, something was wrong; one of them didn?t look right. She couldn?t figure out what was different at first, and then it hit her!

He?s a ghost?! She exclaimed in her mind! There is something wrong with him, like the little girl I can sense it. Sandra thought for a moment and continued. Did they kill him?

Happiness sighed. I was afraid you could see him.

Why?

Happiness ignored her question and said. Yes they killed him; he was the host for a stone of neutrality. It was his job to keep the darkness from finding those of the light before we had gathered together. I fear that the stones of darkness have tainted him.

Sandra was confused. If he was dead then why was his spirit hanging around the darkness? Shouldn?t he be moving on to the next life?

Can the others see him? She asked.

No. Happiness said. No one but you and I can see him. Don?t bother to ask me why, I will not explain. You do not need to worry, as he can do nothing to effect you. He lacks the ability to pass your barrier in that form.

Sandra turned to tell the others about spotting those of the darkness only to see they were already looking in that direction. Now it was a question of what Bernard and Kain and Sasha wanted to do. Sandra wanted to go and discuss strategy first so they would better understand what the others were capable of. The darkness did not sense them and she wanted to run away, at least for now. But she knew she would do as Bernard or Kain commanded.

"Um...I know I don't have much say...but I think we should...um...work out a stradegy. We don't want to go into battle...um...without knowing what we are going to...do, right,"Sasha said in barely a whisper.

"What was that,Sasha,"Kain asked just noticing she had said something.

"Oh, nevermind. It was nothing,"she said looking down at the ground.

"I think,"Sandra started,"Sasha implied that we should wait awhile. Study our powers and see how we can use them in battle. We don't want the darkness to win over us now do we?"

Sasha smiled at Sandra. She didn't think anyone had heard her or would of agreed to her proposition. Sasha was glad to have met a girl like Sandra. 'Please, let the leader go over our powers, our stradegy before battle. I don't think I'm quite ready for battle yet,'Sasha thought to herself.

Alcina stood up, eyes clouded over, soulless once more. A grin of malice played her dangerous lips. Her hair held tight inside their braids. Lust used her again, but this time, Alcina stayed submissive. Alcina felt energized now. Is this power I gain from deaths of those who I come into contact with? Yes, it is. If you touch someone close to the Light with your poisonous hands and you or one of the Dark kills them, you gain power. The smirk widen. She understood now. She could handle it now. Power felt good, but too much would hurt. She only wanted enough.

"Now what, my leader?" The voice was cool and collected. Beautiful and alluring, though the others weren't affted due to their resistance to her. Had someone been passing by though, they would've been drawn to the area.

Talon growled Alcina didnt deseve this being used like this but what could he do he couldnt stay in her body for to long without being noticed he sighed having no idea he got in front her with his transparent and undectable body he laid his head down on her breast sighing he could have all fun he could imange in his ghost body but he wanted ge proof that ALcina actually was good and not as evil as percived
"Lust I commend you for corrupting her so but..." he sighed not knowing what to say he touched her cheek
"I'll stay by your side and protect you" he said

Kalou awoke and saw the lights approaching she got up and approached them
"I thoght you might want to know this my other the neatreal of sight is dead and althogh it seemed so he was coruptedbut I belive he as a plan, but sinse his stone is corrupted mine too is corrupted making it a stone of light so I came to join you" she said sighing indiffernetly but hey she could get use to it

Sena was disappointed that they had not had the chance to fight those of the light yet. And he wasn?t too thrilled about how things had turned out. He had wanted a chance to torture the neutral or someone, he didn?t care who.

Interestingly enough Alcina seemed to change even though she had changed back.

That?s because since she used her powers of Lust on the neutral it was like a poison and now that he was killed by one of us she has gained power from the kill. Destruction said in his mind.

So she gains power every time we kill if they have been poisoned by her power of Lust? Sena asked.

Yes, all of you will gain power from those you kill. Destruction said.

Sena smiled. That was interesting. He wondered how much power he would gain from completely destroying the girl with blue-black hair that had been chosen by the light.

Destruction laughed delightedly in his mind. You never forget someone once you have decided you want to kill and torture them do you?

Sena just smiled even more. Just thinking about all the things he was going to do to her was enough to get him excited. The desire was so strong it was almost unbearable.

 • 2 weeks later...
Alcina felt her cheek, and heard the whisper in the wind. She didn't really know what had just happened, the sun was rising now. She felt the power, oh the power, submerge back into its stone. Her strawberry blonde hair released itself from the braids, the hat just turned to glittering dust that covered her hair. She knew her eye color had turned back to normal as well. Her normal clothes were back on as well, but the same glittering substance fell over them.

Diana was back to normal as were the others. She helped her friend to her feet. Diana was a bit woozy from the change back. Disorintated, like she hadn't been with them completely through the whole session.

"We had better get out of here. We can't afford to be spotted." Everyone looked at Karne. His words were...quite true and if there was anything Alicna could afford, it was time to herself-with Lust. She needed to know what she was doing. How she could harness her power. How to affect people she knew Lust could.

"Yeah." Sena took about three seconds to recover himself after his transforming back. Because he was already like that when he didn't transform. I know. You'll get like that eventually, you know. Lust seemed to wink. Yeah. She smiled again.

The tension was unbearable as Bernard and Kain just stared towards where the stones of darkness were. Sandra could clearly feel Kain?s impatience to do battle with the darkness and she could clearly feel the hesitation in Bernard as if he was weighing the pros and cons of either attacking or withdrawing for the moment to discuss a strategy.

The longer they waited the more irritated Sandra became, she could clearly sense the fear and hesitation in Sasha and just standing there was making it worse. We really need to plan instead of just rushing into battle, she thought.

Agreed. Happiness whispered in her mind. Although Sasha has completed her transformation a few minutes to discuss strategies and such would greatly reassure her. It could mean the difference between victory and failure.

Sandra thought about what Happiness said and made up her mind. If Bernard or Kain wouldn?t decide, she would. She reached out and grabbed both of them by their shirts and began to drag them away from the edge of the overlook. Both of them were too surprised at her actions to react and allowed her to drag them a few feet. Sandra let go and turned around to face them both. She ignored the surprised look on Sasha?s & the neutral?s face.

?I am leaving,? she said sternly. ?I am not ready to face the darkness and I intend to discuss strategies with Sasha and the corrupted neutral if she wishes to come along.?

Sandra crossed her arms and glared at both Kain and Bernard as if they were naughty school children who had been caught with their hands in the cookie jar so to speak.

?I may not be the leader, but I can clearly sense that we are divided and not prepared to face the darkness. You can deny it, but deep inside you know I am right.? Sandra paused and continued, ?I am going to a small coffee shop that we passed a few blocks ago, I will wait for you there.? She turned to the neutral and said, ?You are welcome to come with me and Sasha if you desire.?

Sasha hesitated and then followed both Sandra and the neutral as they left to go to the coffee shop. Sandra was right she was not quite ready yet. Is she going to get in trouble with the others for this? Sandra thought.

Don?t worry, The Blue stone whispered in her mind. Happiness has always been a healer and a bit overprotective. She would never make such a suggestion unless she felt it was necessary.

Kain watched as Sandra, Sasha and the new stone of light walked away. He smiled to himself.

?Shall we go Benard??

Benard looked at him and nodded.

?Quite spirited isn?t she??

Benard just smiled as well. They would need such determination if they were going to win. He and Kain followed the girls to the coffee shop that Sandra had mentioned.
