RPG DEC: Ruby Huntley vs. Sanosuke [M-LV] [Spar]

[COLOR=SlateGray][SIZE=1]"And in the fourth match of the Dead End Cup, we see the sadistic Sanosuke Sochiriou and the ex-noble Ruby Huntley going toe-to-toe!

"Sanosuke Sochiriou is a sword-wielding Easterner with split personalities; one is polite and friendly, the other manic and deadly! He fights with two swords, bound by a bladed chain, using them in close combat or even long range. He's come here to have a fun kill for once, instead of just assassinating nobles and killing slum-rats to survive. He can create and manipulate ice, but has had an Ace Ban for this particular match.

"And Ruby Huntely is an interesting case. She's an ex-noble, who fled her home of wealth simply because of paranoid dillusions about her mother wanting to get rid of her. Understandably, the old woman sent her servants out to retrieve young Ruby, but the violent girl sent them back in stitches and body bags. Eventually, the Elder Huntley came to get her daughter herself, but was killed for all her trouble, leaving Ruby arrested. Now, she is a swordswoman with the power to block off her mind from any invasion, and she has only one weapon to do battle with.

"The duo are fighting atop a 20-foot-wide circular stone platform suspended 50 feet in the air. The platform has a 10-foot-wide gap around it, with a sheer wall the only other thing in the arena that has the two doors the fighters enter through. Only one will be allowed to leave. At least, alive.

"So, fighters ready? Go!"

[B]OOC:[/B] Pumpkin, no offense was meant by shifting your backstory around a little. It's just, as some may have noticed, the Media are putting a notable spin on the life-stories of the fighters, making them seem like horrible, brutal animals. Just a note.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[B]"Ah...Why did he have to call me sadistic..Why does it seem that everyone has been calling me that lately..?I haven't done anything bad now have I...Or from what I could remember."[/B] It was plainly obvious that Sanosuke was still in his more friendly calmer personality. He didn?t think of any bad thoughts, no killing, no torture nothing at all. just about being his old lazy self and doing nothing for the rest of the day.

He took a look around the arena and scooted over to the side to look over at the height that they were off of the ground and gave a low whistle.? boy oh boy...If I fell from her I would go splat all over the ground.." He didn?t see it but then Ruby came from behind and charged at him aiming her weapon right at the small of his back. He had at almost the same moment rolled over to the side making the attack miss and her weapon being embedded into the arena floor.

[B]"What the...How did I miss?[/B] She implied with confusion. As Sanosuke looked back up at her with a pleasant smile. He got back up and took a moment to look at her intently till he soon realized who she was[B]." Ah! You must be the Ruby Huntley person who I am to be fighting am I wrong? Nice to meet you I hope our fight can be enjoyable!"[/B]

He slowly began to draw one of his chained swords out of its sheath, letting its partner weapon still remain hidden to the rest of the world. He held the weapon in an odd form letting the sharpened side point directly at him. This was easily seen as part of his unorthodox style because if she was to hit him at the right spot. She would have been able to cut into his torso and almost instantly be guaranteed a quick death.

After regaining her momentum she charged right back at him as he quickly pulled out his other sword and crossed the two blades together before she was able to hit him body. The power of both of their weapons clashing against one another caused sparks to fly out into the air. Death look into both of his eyes with both of their weapons staring at him in the face. His eyes however began to close slightly as if trying to give her a glare and a slight smile formed on his lips. His other side had clearly taken over.

[B]"I see...The fool has let me out to play now has he...great..."[/B]He scoffed and looked around a bit to confirm that she was the new opponent. He gripped onto his swords tighter and put a little more force into their little stand off, there weapons interlocked with one another in fierce combat[B]." Although it seems that they have taken away my ace...I wouldn?t need it to defeat you...I just hope you can last a lot longer than the rest at least...lets make this fun..."[/B][/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

[SIZE=1][b]OOC:[/b] Sorry I took so long to post, just letting you know I will be using my [i]Schimitar[/i] for this match instead of my weapon [i]Barkota[/i] (Which I really couldn't wait to use but I thought the schimitar would be better sword vs. sword you know). BTW, ULX don't worry about it. I'm still trying to think up great things to use with my schimitar so that is why this post is so short, bland, and doesn't cover much, sorry! I just wanted to start the battle..so um let's begin!

Ruby jumped back just in time before Sansosuke could take a slice at her upper neck. She groaned, [i]"Great I'm dealing with a wacko here. He talks like he wants to make friends and then slices at me a second later. Classic. And here I thought I was going to deal with some pushover...[/i]" Ruby sighed thinking to herself, this was not going to be easy especially since she had not chosen Barkota to be her weapon nevertheless she was purely confident in her fighting abilities. [b]"Alright. Let's do this then... Ol' Crazy Sansosuke wasn't it?" [/b] Ruby taunted to her opponent as she tried to bring about his temper for she knew it could work to her advantage.

[b]"Don't be a fool!"[/b] Sansosuke shouted but his eyes remained eerily clam as he spoke and lunged at her suddenly making her trip on her feet a few paces back. Beads of sweat dripped down from Ruby's forehead as she concentrated on blocking her opponents attacks which were moving swiftly as a snake would on a harmless rabbit. She needed to change the path they were moving in otherwise she would fall off the ledge of the arena and began to scan for an escape when she heard a scowl. [b]"If your going to make this so easy for me..then why don't you just die already? This is no fun at all!"[/b] exclaimed an irritated Sansosuke who seemed to be twitching uncontrollable. Ruby had already slipped out of his reach and ran back to the center of the arena. She had a few cuts on her hands but nothing major that would weaken her strength.

She laughed at her self as amusement settled in and grinned pointing her schimitar at her opponent. [b]"Oh believe me...It has only just begun.."[/b] Sansosuke looked confused but at the same time a devilish glow formed into his eyes that would make anyone feel as if they were being enloped and were lost into a great black pit of eternity. [/SIZE]

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray][SIZE=2][FONT=Times New Roman]He gritted his teeth after her lewd comment and he gripped his swords together in one hand. The chains rattling behind him and he brought his swords behind his head and thrusted them down in an over head swing[B]." Don?t call me crazy!! just hurry up and die! show me the pleasure of"[/B] She had avoided his attack however and slipped off to the side wile his swords crashed down on the arena floor. Sending shards out in all directions, his swords became embedded in the arena floor from the force of the swing.

[B]"Tisk Tisk Tisk"[/B] Ruby said with a slight glare in her eye[B]."If you keep on thrashing around like that you are going to loose..If not fall off of the arena"[/B] she scoffed still trying to taunt him into attacking. He did fall into this trap and made a desperate lunge for her. His eyes were engulfed in rage as he dashed to towards her and she scoffed and using her scimitar slipped it into his shoulder and it went through it with ease. His blood spattered against the and shone brightly on her sword as if a badge of courage.

His eyes opened widely at her attack. It had surprised even him as he didn?t expect it. The blood winded its way down his arm and splattered against the arena floor. He backed away feeling the scimitar sliding out of his arm gave him a high feeling of fear for the first time in a long time. He let a smile break out of the corner of his mouth. Once the scimitar was fully free of his body a large helping of blood splattered onto the ground.

[B]"Yes...this is it...this is the feeling that I have been looking for[/B]!" he began yelling that at the top of his lungs as a sadistic smile grew on his face. He began to run at her, the blood dripping down his arm still and chains rattling wile he ran. He stopped in the middle of his run and leaped into the air swinging one of his swords around like a whip. he held onto the other swords by the hilt and glanced an eye at her[B]."Take this!"[/B] he threw one of his swords at her wile still in mid air, it cut against the air at its top speed still aimed right for her. Even if he was to miss the swords were chained together so that not one could be lost unless the chain itself was cut.

She took a gasp and ran towards the middle of the ring to avoid the attack. The sword instead was lodged into the ground just as it was before. He landed himself. He used his other hand to grasp onto the sword since one of his still was bleeding badly. Ruby was still just slightly amazed that after taking such a blow he was still able to move. [B]"just what are you...a monster!" [/B] she said with her scimitar dripping down with his blood.

He however just scoffed slightly and picked his Sword back out of the ground and started twirling it around just as before. He did it to the side this time however and every time it hit the arena floor, sparks began to shoot out.[B] " It is no matter to you...It doesn?t matter to anyone who is about to die!" [/B] With that he jumped into the air just as before and threw it right at her. It sliced through the air with slightly more force than it had before.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]
