OOC: Actually, Takuya, you completely disturbed my planned character devellopment post, but I'll run with what you're giving me anyway.

[COLOR=DimGray]Eiffel felt gloomier than his fellow player about the upcoming battle. Boarmon wasn't the best fighter to oppose the dragon clan. The human now had to hope that his partner would reach Ultimate today. Normally, he would have switched evolutions, but he wanted to do it. he wanted to beat her without changing the cards. His fist tightened around the digivice.

"It's been a long while since we last met," Kiva said, interrupting his thought. "I didn't knew you switched partners."

He sighed.

"I've had issues to work out."

The girl chuckled.

"Real life interfering with the game?"

Eiffel shook his head.

"Not even. It's a long story. I can tell you about it later, when this is over with. It's the main reason I'm here today, though."

Kive nodded without a word. There are contentious best settled in battle.

"Just one thing... Why a Guilmon? I knew you to have better ambitions for your friends."

The lizard glared at the young woman. Eiffel made an appeasing gesture and chuckled without ever stopping to look for the approaching army. The trees were shaking, falling over some distance away. His voice sped up to explain.

"It wasn't really planed for,you know. It just... happened. I had to test myself when I logged back after two months of not playing. I just stumbled into a battle between him and some random Seadramon. It kinda proceeded from there."

"Here they comes!" Garudamon pointed.

A group of Flamedramon appeared between the trees and flew foward at a stunning pace, each encased in an energy shield. The players realized their partners were still at rookie level. Eiffel cursed loudly

"Hawkmon digivolve to..." lightning encased the bird as it evolved.

"Gabumon digivolve to..." a ball of fire surrounded the horned lizard.

The Flamedramon commando crashed into the first line of defenders in large fiery explosions. Several Floramon and a Fangmon were deleted. On the right, a ultimate-level Cherrymon was set on fire by the combined power of two attacks.

"Thunderbirdmon!"

"Boarmon!"

Right behind the first line came a mixed force of champions and rookie. Eiffel noticed a Triceramon. [i]Damn... Must be Pteranomon evolved. A large Tuskmon rushed head-first into the fray, obviously aiming for the two humans. Damn! Where's Kalika?[/i] Boarmon and Guilmon moved in front of the bird.

"If you can evolve, do it now! We'll protect him!" Guilmon announced.

"Go ahead, big guy!" Eiffel cheered them.

The rookie jumped on the back of the champion and the two sped up at the green lizard. Kiva rolled her eyes. Garudamon provided more than enough protection. Then the ultimate was dogpiled by several Exveemons. The Flamedamons' attack had proven very efficient at disrupting the first-line defenses, she had to credit Kalika with that.

Tuskmon could hardly miss the incoming attackers and readied an attack.

"Slamming tusk!"

"Slamming charge!" Boarmon retorted

The red-glowing tip of the dinosaur's tusks burried themselves deep into the ground, raising a wall of dirt and earth. Before Boarmon could adjust his course, Tuskmon's arm swiped and hit the rookie in the chest, sending him flying somewhere in the battle. Boarmon was temporerily blinded by the falling debris. Tuskmon clasped his three-clawed arms on head of his sides and attacked.

"Bayonnet lancer!"

The claws glowed with energy and twisted around, opening two bleeding wounds. Boarmon roared in pain. Eiffel winced. [i]Where's Guilmon?[/i] The green digimon then attempted to slam his overgrown lower jaw into the Boarmon's forehead. Fatal mistake. The bone fractured on impacting the metal. Tuskmon let go of Eiffel's partner to clutch at his mouth with yells of pain. The fire digimon collected his energies.

"Nose blaster!"

This time, with no armor to protect him, the champion deleted. Boarmon felt a sudden urge of energy as the green particles disipated around him.

"Boarmon digivolve to..."

His body momentarily sank down in the earth, but an Ankylomon appeared apparently out of nowhere and attacked the digimon in mid-evolution, collecting him with his heavily armored head. Boarmon was slammed into a Leomon.

"Guilmon!" he yelled out in anger. "It's your job to avoid these kind of things!!"

"Well, I'm busy here!" Eiffel heard Guilmon's voice yell back.

Looking around, he finally located his friend. The rookie was busy hand-fighting with a Veemon. Everytime the larger lizard attempted a Pyro Sphere attack, the nimble dragon would slam his foot into Guilmon's mouth.

"You're not quick enough, smoothscale!" the blue digimon sneered.

[COLOR=RoyalBlue][SIZE=2][FONT=Arial] Greymon side tackled the shadow Weregarurmon into the water. Haku grabbed the water digimon, Lanamon and hoast her over his back.
"Time to get going before he get's pissed!" Greymon nodded as Haku jumped onto his giant digimon.
"Let's go!!" Greymon turned and ran down the river path. Gryemon kept on running until they finally made it out of the forest. They went into a plain looking area.
"mmm, never been here before." Haku whispered as Gryemon turned to his right.
"There are some digimon over there. Look!"
"What are they doing?" A large digimon came from afar and looked at them with feirce eyes. He opened his large mouth and snet a huge blast of light at them.
"Greymon get down!!" But it was clearly too late. They got hit pretty hard as the three of them flew off as Agumon devolved. Haku let go of Lanamon and hit his head hard against the cold hard ground, going pitch black.

[size=1][color=#C82356]As the four took flight, Angel had begun to think back to when she had started [i]Digimon[/i], how it had suddenly changed everything about her, how it formed her into a different person. Some would have said it was for the better while others wouldn?t have wanted a mere machine to give her this transformation but it wasn?t just the machine that had worked its magic, it was how she learned to survive in [i]Digimon[/i] that allowed her to become the person she was today- ruthless, cold, and indifferent to everyone and everything yet was still humble and kindhearted but only giving and taking respect from those who truly deserved it. If not for this ?game? then Angel would have become a mere puppet in her parents? game, using her as a pawn towards success and wealth, even though they had plenty of it. Such a pity they had become, only wanting perfection in everyone, anyone, everything, and anything. It hurt her to see what her parents had become; knowing that what they wanted was only for the best interests for themselves. Thinking of this, Angel?s hands tightened into a fist, making her knuckles crack on contact. Wormmon felt the tension that rose from Angel and comforted her, not knowing what the problem was.

In Angel?s mind, she would have wished to live in this world forever, protecting them and helping them to reach their ultimate goals. She could see the warmth in Wormmon?s eyes, how he had always been with her from the beginning, promising to protect her no matter what, even if it meant that he should be hurt in the result. She patted Wormmon?s head and smiled back, knowing that he needed to know she was alright, even if she wasn?t. Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a large blast that came from the city that held the competition. They finally landed and were in front of the city?s gates, which opened when they had walked towards it. There was much going on, such commotion and talk, it was as if she was visiting a friend in Seoul, Korea.

Making their way, Angel stopped to look at ads and pieces of paper that covered the side of a wooden wall. It had rules, laws, wanted posters, and much more as well as job ads and the competition ad. Wormmon jumped on top of Angel?s head and saw what she was looking at and smiled, as he always did. Angel took the job ad and the competition ad, looking at the two carefully; searching for any catch phrase or scam that may prevent from anything but saw none and ventured forth to the area of battle.

There was so much going on and gossip spread quicker than the plague, it seemed to Angel, yet she still seemed indifferent to everything, apathetic to what was going on around her, just focused on the task at hand- the competition but she stopped when she had heard several players? names spoken by a Digitamamon who was speaking to one of his customers, who just happened to be a Gostumon who was accompanied by Icemon and Pumpkinmon. This struck Angel?s interest and she led her group to Digitamamon?s place of work, which was a diner. She entered and everyone turned to her, the eyes following her as she made her way to the counter, sitting next to Gotsumon and his friends, having Reichmon and RhodoKnightmon stand in a corner, knowing that they would intimidate the small digimon yet having Wormmon with her, knowing that he wouldn?t leave her.

The digimon in the diner were still watching her but trying not to make eye contact. They were wary, almost cautious with their actions, hoping not to upset Angel but at the same time they were excited that a human would make their way into this small diner filled with digimon. When Digitamamon walked up to her, they went about their business, knowing that it was none of their business when it came to Digitamamon and his customers.

?What can I get you, soup and salad, our specialty lunch meal?? Digitamamon?s voice was a bit like Igor?s from Frankenstein, itchy and strange. ?What would you like??

For a while, Angel was looking around the diner then her eyes looked to the digimon in front of her. ?What do you know about Kiva, Eiffel, and Kalika?? The sound of Kalika?s name rattled everyone in the diner, the three digimon next Angel shifted in their seats, and yet Angel was still indifferent. ?Tell me, what do you know??

?What?s there to know? There?s nothing to know.? Digitamamon turned his back and spoke to Angel. ?If you are not getting any food, please leave. I don?t want any trouble.?

Smirking, Angel stood but before she left, she replied back, ?Even if you don?t want trouble, it always finds a way to its victims. Ja.? The digimon looked around and then to the owner, knowing that he might provide some sort of answer. Indefinitely, he did for Digitamamon stepped out from behind the counter and stopped Angel who turned around with a slight smirk on her face. ?So tell me about these other humans you?ve been talking about.?

The small digimon called for Mikemon who was cooking in the back to cover for him and he and Angel went to a room in the back. There, he told Angel about the destroyed village that Kalika ordered and how the Dragon Clan were gathering more digimon to fight for them. He also told her about how several humans were fighting against the Dragon Clan and searching for Kalika, just so that they can destroy her power before she destroys everything. Then just as Angel thanked him, Digitamamon stopped her and told her that he heard from a friend in Arnett that two humans had found their way into a battle with digimon who were with the Dragon Clan. Angel thanked him again and left with her digimon. In her mind, the competition would only prove their strength but also that it would give them more knowledge.

[color=indigo]Kiva had Garudamon attack a Triceramon as Thunderbirdmon scouted the battlefield from the air with Kiva on his back. They didn't see Kalika, but Kiva was able to pick out a couple of the enemy's other leaders. One of them, a Megidramon, was heading their way. Thunderbirdmon landed and Kiva jumped to the ground as she triggered her partner's digivolution to mega.[/color]

[color=#4b0082]Machinedramon immediately fired a Giga Cannon at Megidramon. He scored a direct hit, but Megidramon was tough enough to take it. The mega-level dragon shifted his focus to Machinedramon, moving in and attacking. Machinedramon took the hit and counterattacked. Megidramon avoided the shot and attacked again.[/color]

[color=#4b0082]While the two megas fought, Kiva found a metal pole on the ground and picked it up. It was probably a forme part of some now-destoyed object, but Kiva had a better use for it. She'd noticed a surprising nuber of rookie-level Digimon in the attacking force, and while her weapon would be pretty useless against a champion-level or higher Digimon, it would work just fine against rookie-level Digimon.[/color]

[color=#4b0082]Kiva's first target was a nearby Veemon. She ran up behind it and brought her pole down on the thing's head, knocking it out. The little dragon never even saw it coming. Next, Kiva was charged by an Agumon. She sidestepped and whacked it hard with the pole. After that, she took down another Veemon.[/color]

[color=#4b0082]Kiva stopped and located her Digimon. Garudamon had just finished Triceramon, and she landed by Kiva. Machinedramon hadn't defeated Megidramon yet, but it didn't look like it would take much longer. Megidramon was clearly hurting, and though Machinedramon had taked a few hits, he'd be able to take a lot more before going down.[/color]

[color=#4b0082]Garudamon joined the battle against Megidramon. She hit the dragon with Wing Blade, distracting it just long enough for Machinedramon to finish it off. the two of them returned to Kiva.[/color]

[color=#4b0082]"Nice job," Kiva congradulated them. "That's one dangerous dragon taken down. But we're nowhere near done yet. Any sign of Kalika?"[/color]

[color=#4b0082]"I haven't seen her," Garudamon replied. "She doesn't seem to have shown herself yet. I did just see another human, though. I don't know which side he's on."[/color]

[color=#4b0082]"Let's go take a look," Kiva said. Machinedramon devolved one level to Gigadramon, a much faster Digimon than Machinedramon. Kiva climbed onto Machinedramon's back as he and Garudamon took off. Garudamon pointed the human out to them.[/color]

[color=#4b0082]"It doesn't look like he's moving," Kiva observed, "though it's ard to tell from this height. Let's land for a closer look."[/color]

[color=#4b0082]Garudamon and Gigadramon landed, and Kiva jumped to the ground. She saw that the human was indeed uncoucious. With the uncouncious human wera an Agumon and a Lanamon. "Who are you?" the Agumon asked.[/color]

[color=#4b0082]"My name's Kiva. What happened?"[/color]

[color=#4b0082]"We were attacked by a Tyranomon," Agumon explained. "I was Greymon at the time, but I'd just been in battle, and Tyranomon took me by surprise. Before I knew what was happening, I was back to Agumon and Haku was unconcious. Fortunatly, Lanamon here, who Haku and I'd rescued from a ShadowWereGarurumon not too long ago, had recovered enough to fight Tyranomon off."[/color]

[color=#4b0082]"Well, I guess you're on our side, then," Kiva said. "You've entered a battlefield, and you unknowingly chose a side. And... yep, here comes the enemy." A group of dragons, led by two Paildramon, were heading their way.[/color]

[color=#4b0082]Agumon was clearly frightened. "What do we do? We don't stand a chance against them!"[/color]

[color=#4b0082]"You don't," Kiva replied. "I do." She triggered Gigadramon's digivolution back to Machinedramon. He and Garudamon turned to do battle with the oncoming dragons.[/color]

[color=DarkSlateBlue][size=1][font=Tahoma]Zale watched Sakura's Digimon briefly before surveying his opponents. Sakura had destroyed one already, and the otherrs were up to something; they kept huddling together, as if there was safety in numbers.

Zale let his hand fall idly to his side and pressed the button on his belt that controlled music; a song began to fill the area.

"Cactus Bat!" The Ponchomon facing Leomon stopped suddenly, the black orbs on their hats beginning to glow. Leomon gazed at them for what seemed to be a long amount of time when they launched forward, taking the form of two bats.

"Leomon!" Zale yelled.

The attack took three Ponchomon out. Leomon, Dobermon, and Sakura's Digimon faced the remaining three together.

[color=green]Rain and Lopmon had looked at some things to do and Rain had made a choice on their first real act since she started. She wanted to start off small and found something that was for the more inexperianced ones around so she chose it before some other newbie took it. She held a piece of paper in her hand. It seemed to be orders of some sort. Lopmon hadnt gotten a chance to look at them or hear exactly what it was they would be doing but he figured it did not matter.[/color]

[color=green]Rain stoppped on the outskirts of the village she first arrived in. She looked at the paper in her hand and smiled. She rolled it up and shoved it into her pocket. She then just waited.[/color]

[color=green]"Waiting. It says the one in charge will appear after I stand here for a while." She began to tap her foot and lopmon thought this was just out of impatience of something.[/color]

[color=green]"Ok. Since our younger Pagumon friends talked I am afraid the Puroromon they wanted you to beat up happend to um..." He paused, "Digivolved... So now we have four fanbeemon on our hands. I am glad to say though we will still be even matched now that you are helping us."[/color]

[color=green]"I hate bugs. Ill help you squash em. Enough said." Rain sighed glancing around the odd looking tree they were inside. She hear movement outside but remained silent like the gazimon did.[/color]

[color=green]Lopmon nodded narrowing his eyes, "Whatever you say Chief."[/color]

[color=green]"Get ready. They sense us. Here they come..." The leader gazimon said quietly "One my signal we leave this stump and attack got it? Good." A few moments later and the sound of wings got louder, "Now!"[/color]

[color=green]All five of them crawled out quickly to find themselves face to face with the four fanbeemon who looked half confused half shocked at the intruders.[/color]

[color=green]"Prepare for a beating bug boys." [/color]

[color=green]Rain grinned. This was the best way to unleash anger she thought. For years she hated bugs and her little sister loved to throw them on her. She used to beat the daylights out of her sister who just seemed to enjoy watching Rain get angry. Then her parents began to favor her sister. She knew hurting her sister in real life would get her in deeper trouble than she wanted to be in... but in the game of digimon that was a different story. She could unlease all the anger or hatred she wanted.[/color]

[color=green]"Crud!" The brown and yellow bee looking digimon groaned. They had green eyes. They looked buggy enough.[/color]

[color=green]"Get um boys!" One of the gazimon said, "And um... girl?"[/color]

Eiffel wasn't sure why or how he had managed to get in the middle of the battle field like that. This has to be the stupidest thing you've ever done while playing! he mentally beat himself. But now wasn't the time to complain. The battlefield might as well have swallowed him anyway. Boarmon was somewhere out of sight. He hoped his partner was allright. Were Boarmon killed, the game session would pause and he'd restart in a random location. That had brought him in Sentry Peninsula in the first place.

The man grabbed the distacted Veemon's tail and swung him in circle. The small dragon yelled out in surprise and pain as blood sudenly rushed to his head. Guilmon shook his head lightly and backed his arm.

"Rock Breaker!"

Guilmon's three claw racked along the blue digimon's thick. He yelled out.

"Guilmon, stop toying around, damnit! That's disgusting!"

The red lizard aimed another blow for Veemon's chest. The smaller rookie contorted in pain and deleted. Eiffel panted.

"Come on, we have to find Boarmon!"

"Tail hammer!"

Boarmon helped Leomon up when the beast king shoved him aside. A spiked ball crashed into the ground, creating a large crater. Boarmon was showever with earth and debris. This time around, he made sure he didn't getblindedand immediately charged at the larger champion. The problem with attacking with yourend is that you have to turn your back to your target, he figured.

"Slaming Charge!"

Boarmon took advantage of the immediate speed build-up cuased caused by his attack to slip under the heavily armored digimon. When he passed his face, he jammed his head up and unleashed a violent cone of fire at Ankylomon's face.

"Nose Blaster!"

The champion screeched in pain and deleted. Boarmon could feel an enegy rush again. He was engulfed in light.

"Boarmon, digivolve to..."

A pillar of light in the middleof the battlefield. It immediately draggoed Eiffel's attention.

"Boarmon!"

"Not if I have a say in it!" a voice boomed.

Eiffel turned around to see a large blue digimon he recognized as Aeroveedramon flying toward his partner. If he reached him before the digivolution was completed, Boarmon would not recover from the hit. Digimon became easy targets during a digivolution sequence.

Rosemon had been observing the battle from the backlines. It was mostly even matched,and that bore through the mega-level's soul like acid. She could feel the hits to her fellow plant digimon as if they were hits to herself. As more and more fell, her anger grew. When she saw an ultimate Dragon ready to attack a champion in mid-evolution, she decided it was time to move. She was going to turn the tide of this battle, whether Eiffel agreed or not.

"Thorn Whip!"

The attack cleanly cut straight through Aeroveedramon's chest. A second attack streaked through the ground,destroying several more dragon on contact.

"Rosemon, no!" Eiffel called out.

"Vikaralamon!" Boarmon completed his evolution into the massive ultimate.

Many fighter were shoved aside in confused tangles by the digimon,s growth. Dragons from all over the battlefield attackd, but the ultimate barely seemed to react at all. Eiffel and Guilmon ran to him and climbed on the huge snout. Two massive fire attacks suddenly shot from the cover of the trees.

"Flame Inferno!"

"Circle of Death!"

The Mega-level crashed to the ground,weakened by the twin attack. Another massive digimon,apparently composed of lava steppedout of the forest. A woman in a skin-tight violet outfit stood on it's head. Next to her floated a demonic figure wrapped in red and black robes.

"A Daemon!?" Eiffel exclaimed. "When did she befriend a Daemon!?"

The yougn woman turned toward him. She barely glanced atEiffelbefore she reported her attention at Rosemon, obviously not considering the other player any threat.

"Get her!" Kalika andEifelboth said at the same time,although they had obviously opposed target

[i]If she destroys Rosemon, she'll be able to digivolve to mega, and there's no way we'll be able to stop her them![/i][/color]

OOC: If Kalika starts losing or if Daemon is defeated, she'll immediately retreats, possibly leaving the clan as a distraction.

"Yes, I am or else I wouldn't have the Blood Stone and I wouldn't be heading to challenge Zanbamon for the Knight's Gem." Sheath answered, smiling.

"And why do you want to open Apocalymon Space?"

" 'Cause I can," Sheath answered, "To prove myself."

"Stop you fiends! I know it was you who demolished that Veemon village! How dare you!" a male voice cried out, and a young man leapt out in front of Sheath and her group.

"Oh, hello, Blue Knight, what pleasure to see you again, I don't believe you've met my new friend, Myotismon, meet Blue Knight, an annoying do-gooder like so many other players in this game." Sheath said, in a mock tone of respect.

"For the good of this world I shall stop you! Elecmon digivolve!" Blue Knight cried to his partner and instantly a glow surrounded Elecmon. When the glow faded a Knightmon stood in his place.

"Please, you're not even in my league. Salamon digivolve," Sheath was trying to stay calm but in reality she was so excited she was bursting at the seams. A battle always did that to her. A glow surrounded Salamon as the Rookie swiftly became a Mega. "Lilithmon, destroy him."

Blue Knight backed away apprehensivly, he suddenly realized that Sheath had meant what she had said, she really did want to destroy Knightmon.

"Oh, and the boy too... we can have any witnesses."

"Knightmon, let's get out of here!" Blue Knight shouted to his partner and the pair fled.

"Cowards..." Sheath sighed.

"That was disappointing." Beelzemon sighed, he had been eager to fight as well.

"Well, to Zanbamon's lair, to Arnett!"

"Arnett? There's a big conflict going on there, the dragon clan's on the uprising. Perhaps we should wait it out." Myotismon responded.

"A little war isn't going to stop me from reaching my ultimate goal, any more than it's going to make me hesitate." Sheath responded as Lilithmon picked her up. "See you there." She said as she and Lilithmon took off, with Myotismon not far behind.

"Hey! What about me?" Beelzemon shouted at his retreating friends.

"Behemoth!" Sheath responded.

"Oh... right... I forgot," Beelzemon muttered as a motorcycle rode up beside him and quickly mounted.[/COLOR]

[color=green]Rain was faced with a choice. Fight with them or just watch. She knew a bit about human vs digimon combat. One can do some damage to a rookie but not much. It was more of a distraction. She decided to just sit back and watch and if she was needed she would help.[/color]

[color=green]She watched at first as the three Gazimon leapt into action and how Lopmon also opened his ears and glidded into battle. The three Gazimon would electricute their targetswith their stun blast and Lopmon used a fire attack to since the Flybeemon's wing till it hit the ground and then proceeded to attack with Blazing Ice and TinyTwister.[/color]

[color=green]The little bee slammed its head into Lopmon sending him flying towards a tree but Rain jumped and caught him. He silently thanked her and bounced back into to battle. In the frey however one fanbemon and one gazimon beat each other up to the point where they both could hardly move. Rain stepped in. As the fanbemon was going to fire an attack from its stinger Rain leapt in and kicked it right in the face. Rain picked up a stick and smacked it right into the bee's belly. This gave the other gazimon some time to recover and he blasted the fanbeemon out of existance.[/color]

[color=green]Within a few short minutes the other three were deleted or close to it. It seemed a little easy though. As rain looked around and saw the really hurt Gazimon sneak back into the dead tree trunk she made sure to check for any other dangers. It seemd fine. It seemed as though they had drivin off or deleted all four of the Fanbeemon. One had fled but the werent worried about it.[/color]

[color=green]"Well that was rather easy..." The leader Gazimon said triumphantly.[/color]

[color=green]"Yeah you should have seen the look on their faces they were completely-"[/color]

[color=green]Suddenly though they heard the sound of large insect wings beating together. This was far larger than the group of fanbeemon and rain gripped her digivice just in case. In a few seconds it seemed the noise grew quite loud.[/color]

[color=green]A moment later a large wasp looking digimon fell from the sky and landed on the ground in front of them. Rains digivice reacted and told her it was a Waspmon. Champion level. Rain automatically hit the button on the device to initiate digivolution and Endigomon stoof before her a few seconds later.[/color]

[color=green]Waspmon said nothing and charged, flying straight at Endigomon, stinger pointed right at his chest. Endigomon put a huge hand on the ground and flipped out of the way. Waspmon turned and came back again. This time in Endigomon's flip he landed on waspmon pinning it to the ground. It flopped and struggled a few moments was able to free itself but not before taking a few strong punches from Endigomon.[/color]

[color=green]"Fools. Attacking innocent rookies. I will rid my forest of you." Waspmon finally spoke. It hada buzz to its voice and all could tell he wasnt happy.[/color]

[color=green]"KoKo Crusher!" Endigomon shouted. The attack hit waspmon and it fell back into the ground sending dirt, grass, and stuff from the forest floor into the air. Rain brushed the dirt clump off her shoulder and continued to watch. Waspmon got back up and charged. This time its attack struck Endigomon in the chest and he growled in pain. Rain was worried that the stinger had a poison of something because Endigomon seemed to slow down.[/color]

[color=green]"Come on Endy! You can beat that nasty insect!" Rain laughed.[/color]

[color=green]"I know..." Endigomon placed both hands on the ground and crouched. He waited for waspmon to return for another attack. When the bug came around again Endigomon lanched with his legs and arms acting as springs. He flew into the air and flipped over. He whipped his arms around and began to spin as he fell back towards the ground. Waspmon couldnt move in time and Endigomon slammed into him with full force from the fall.[/color]

[color=green]Waspmon gurgled a bit then deleted into bits of vanishing data. Endigomon devolved back to Lopmon and lay on the ground. He was tired. The gazimon all came up to him and congradulated him on his win. Rain just watched. She was happy. This was a cool game and she planned to take things to a next level later on. For now she wanted Lopmon to rest and to explore a little more.[/color]

[color=green]"How clever. You know I never expected you kids to do so much while I was away." A dark voice echoed through the trees.[/color]

[color=green]"Oh no!Lord Devi is back!" One of the Gazimon gasped. Rain suddenly felt a little afraid to learn who Devi was because it sounded like something bad. With lopmon so tired from battle they wouldnt stand a chance.[/color]

[color=green]However things werent as bad as she thought. A Devidramon landed in the small clearing they were in and due to his large size some of the trees bent or broke out of the way. He glanced down at the three Gazimon. All four eyes were glowing.[/color]

[color=green]"Actually my retrun was to check up on you but when I saw no trace of you in the village I went looking. I saw the comotion here and decided to check it out. You know... I do beleive I told you three you were not strong enough to tackle this yet."[/color]

[color=green]He made a sort of grunt and looked a bit. That is when he noticed Rain and Lopmon.[/color]

I had gone off to find other digimon like us to help take it over but found most were busy with some war thing i didnt feel like getting involved in though i am extreamly qualified." [color=green]He smiled in his own way, " It is good grounds for the Gazimon to train. Once they are older they can gather more digimon likethemselves and build a small army. It was really our former leaders idea however he decided to go with some human after a while and left me in charge."[/color]

[color=green]"Oh. Well thats cool. Well I hope you guys do well in your plans. I guess I will take lopmon and go somewhere to rest. I need to explore a little as well."[/color]

[color=indigo]Garudamon and Machinedramon made short work of the oncoming dragons. It was a mega and an ultimate against two ultimates and a couple of chamipons. Not even a contest. When the dragons were deffeated, Garudamon flew high once again, observing the battle in an attempt to determine where she, Kiva, and Machinedramon were most needed. She landed quickly.[/color]

[color=#4b0082]"What's the situation?" Kiva asked as Garudamon landed.[/color]

[color=#4b0082]"Our primary target has shown herself," Garudamon replied.[/color]

[color=#4b0082]Machinedramon devolved to Gigadramon for faster movement, and Kiva climbed onto his back. Garudamon and Gigadramon took off, heading for Kalika's location. She had a Daemon with her in addition to her partner, and she was engaging Rosemon. [/color]

[color=#4b0082]Kiva siddenly realized what Kalika was up to. [i]Of course! She was waiting for Rosemon! How the hell did I miss that? She wants Rosemon, so she kept back until Rosemon joined the battle. Now she's freash, while we're not. But we outnumber her, and though she seems to have an advanage right now, that won't be true as soon as I join the battle. And I'll have my fun with Kalika. I'm glad I kept that pole.[/i][/color]

Garudamon, do what you ca to protect Rosemon, but stay away from that Daemon. Gigadramon, you'll engage Daemon as Machinedramon. I'll take Kalika personally. Go!"[/color]

[color=#4b0082]Gigadramon flew low and Kiva jumped off, landing in front of Kalika and her partner. She triggered Gigadramon's digivolution to Machinedramon. Machinedramon attacked Daemon as Garudamon moved to help protect Rosemon. Kiva faced Kalika and her partner, pole raised in a battle-ready position. "It's been awhile, bitch."[/color]

[color=#4b0082]Kalika laughed as she leapt to the ground, landing in front of Kiva. "Kiva! How nice of you to join us."[/color]

[COLOR=Red]Sheath had been secretly hoping that the battle now raging below her wouldn't affect her quest, but apparently Beelzemon had sucessfully managed to tick off the right digimon.

"That idiot..." Lilithmon muttered, echoing Sheath's own thoughts.

"What do we do now?" Myotismon asked Sheath, stopping mid flight.

"We go down and help him, of course," Sheath sighed.

"It just looks like a Blossomon to me, he can handle that on his own," Lilithmon said.

"Probably, but it would still be wise just in case the fool decides to bite off more than he can chew." Sheath sighed, as the three went down into the melee below.[/COLOR]

A group of Koromon had been abducted from the Agumon village, they weren't sure who took them but whoever it was made for the mountains.[/color][/size][/font]

Turning around, Angel raised a brow at the digimon who had shouted at them yet he came forward and wanted to intimidate Angel yet when Reichmon and RhodoKnightmon appeared from behind, he stepped backwards a bit and began to shake a bit. He gulped loudly and handed Angel the registration papers.

?You... you need these to get in, ma?am. Please choose two digimon you wish to compete with.? Before the digimon could turn around and talk to other digimon, she took piece of white silk and black silk as well as a pass with the number 57 and 58. As Angel was leaving the digimon told them, ?Good luck...?

The four left the area and walked towards the arena, where they would be battling or at least the digimon would. Angel was impressed with the variety of digimon that came to battle for the reward and what?s more was that not many would stand up to the two digimon she chose. Wormmon felt her silent excitement and was, himself, excited by the fascinating power that blew Angel and his minds away unlike anything they had ever seen or experienced. The four soon came to their place of rest, which was where Angel had told the three digimon who was to participate.

?I?ve signed up RhodoKnightmon and Reichmon as the two fighters in the competition. I don?t think Wormmon?s up for it yet and you two have had the most fighting experience. Understood?? The digimon nodded and began to train while Angel looked around at the other digimon around her, who were also training. ?Today seems like a good day, wouldn?t you say Wormmon? I think we?ll have a pleasant time here.?

As everyone was training, a voice was suddenly heard and it sounded a bit like Elvis and when Angel had found the source of the voice, she saw that it was KingEtemon, a monkey-puppet digimon who wore a crown and robe and was one of the strangest and most conceited digimon in the game. ?Alright, alright my digi-fans, settle down. Thanks for coming to my humble abode and taking part in this competition. Just want to tell you good luck and may the best win. Huh, thank you very much.?

After MetalEtemon left, another digimon who was smaller than KingEtemon and a bit more conservative stepped up and took the microphone, tapping it to get feedback, all the while the other digimon were talking amongst themselves, making themselves known to each other. No one was paying attention to the smaller digimon who was looking on with shy eyes and an uneasy posture, trying to get the attention of the other digimon.

?May I have your attention?? The digimon was known as Floramon, a simple and quiet digimon who was floral in everyway. ?Excuse me? May I have your attention?? Still no one listened. ?Excuse me? Hey, hey!? Suddenly, ?BE QUIET!? They all fell silent and she resumed her quiet tone, listing off the rules and basics, as well as what was intended from the competition. ?If you have any questions please come see myself or Leomon, thank you.?

As soon as Floramon left, the digimon began to flood the arena below which was large and did not appear as a real arena but more of a battlefield outside. Angel and Wormmon sat in their respectful places and watched as Reichmon and RhodoKnightmon made their way into the arena, taking their places. The beginning round consisted of a free for all, everyone battling against each other except RhodoKnightmon and Reichmon who helped each other. Digimon counterattacked, evaded attacks, used excellent defense and offense, but some were quite sloppy as if they had no knowledge of combat. Though, Angel was pleased to see that there were few that managed to get a few ?kills,? if you could say.

After a while, the beginning round ended and the secondary round began yet a twist came in and these twists were large and ferocious- SkullGreymon, ShadowWereGarurumon, and several Tyrannomon began to flood the arena, attacking the digimon that were already there. Most of the remaining digimon were destroyed while others managed to live but as the chaos happened, Reichmon hadn?t noticed a rogue digimon who was competing lurking behind him. Without notice, Reichmon was damaged heavily and RhodoKnightmon was nowhere to be seen to help him, Angel nearly jumped out of her seat to help her friend but Wormmon advised against, pleading her that she shouldn?t walk in there even though Reichmon was injured. She?s seen her friend injured yet this was a time where your instinct took place and Reichmon could only die with pride, knowing he fought well. Angel closed her eyes and said her goodbyes, not wanting to watch the deletion of her friend.[/size][/color]

[Veritas]

[size=1][color=darkred]Requiem slowly walked in the desert, his digimon at his side. She had probably chosen the desert figuring it would give, Beezlemon little cover as well as her alot of flying room. Though, Requiem hadn't survived this long without picking up some tricks and skills.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=darkred][b]"So I forgot to ask, what are her parter Digimon and what is this girls name?"[/b] Requiem voiced smoothly.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=darkred][b]"A MagnaAngemon, and a Sheepmon last time we checked, and she goes by Harmony"[/b] Impmon's high pitched voice replied.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=darkred][b]"Lucemon, take the angel, Pumpkinmon, Sheepmon is all yours................One last thing, don't interfere with my fight.........."[/b] Requiem finished coldly, not looking back at the Digimon.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=darkred]They continued walking following a Trailon track when a lound shriek was heard over head. Harmony decended on top of Birdramon, while Sheepmon ran below them and MagnaAngemon followed in flight. As she landed Birdramon De-Digivolved to Biyomon.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=darkred][b]"You came, I didn't think you to be the foolish type"[/b] She yelled coldly towards Requiem.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=darkred][b]"What have you been doing massacring Digimon, Your atonement is now!"[/b] Harmony yelled holding up her digivice, making Biyomon Digivolve to Mega.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=darkred][b]"I just arrange the meeting, Impmon digivolve[/b]" He swiftly stated as a black light engulfed his rookie.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=darkred]Beezlemon easily sidestepped, the attack, which was followed by 5 more. Flipping out of the way he glanced over at Requiem who gave a small nod. Beezlemon continued to dodge the attacks, as they became increasingly larger. Finally one of the attacks hit Beezlemon in the stomach, causing him to fall to his knees.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=darkred][b]"Valkyrimon Finish it!"[/b] Harmony yelled as her digimon shot down from the heavens.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=darkred][b]"Darkness Claw"[/b] Beezlemon yelled out striking the ground, creating a cloud of dust and sand, stopping Valkyrimon in the middle.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=darkred][b]"Double Impact"[/b] He yelled out as he struck Valkyrimon in the back knocking her to the ground.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=darkred]As the dust settled Beezlemon stood on top of the digimons wings his energy pistol pointed at the back of her head. Magna Angemon quickly began to rush at Beezlemon.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=darkred][b]"Shadow Cross"[/b] Lucemon yelled out, his attack hitting the sidetracked angel knocking him to the ground.[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=darkred]Beezlemon turned to watch as the angel staggered to get up. Lucemon slowly walked over followed by Pumpkinmon.[/color][/size]

Without hesitating he pulled the trigger drawing a shriek from the girl as a cloud of dust flew into the air. Beezlemon slowly walked out of the dust, as it settled revealing a injured Biyomon. [COLOR=Red]Her three Digimon appeared to be handling things rather well, but this wasn't her goal.

"Myotismon, come with me, let the other two handle this." Sheath said. Myotismon quickly came and took the female human up in his arms, taking swiftly to the sky.

"So we're going to Zanbamon and leaving the others behind to fend for themselves? You are aware that Zanbamon is a Mega level, and if I were to challenge him alone..." Myotismon said, looking to his friend.

"Zanbamon has honor, he won't battle an opponent unless they are prepared to face him." Sheath said impatiently, as if she were explaining things to a child.

"Ogre Flame!" a Digimon's voice cried out. The attack forced Myotismon to let go of his friend and he was sent flying.[/COLOR]

[Circ]

[COLOR=DimGray]The fight had broke out between Machinedramon and Daemon. Kiva's Garudamon companion helped to protect Rosemon. Vikaralamon faced Volcdramon. Kiva herself had engaged Kalika.

"This is giving me a headache," Eiffel muttered.

Vikaralamon had the advantage of resilience and inertia. The smaller in comparison Volcdramon had the advantage of speed.

"Fusion Ball!" the humongous boar attacked.

The meters-wide ball of energy sped at Volcdramon, who successfully dodged it. It vaporized a long trench in the battlefield, taking numerous digimon with it. The ultimate got annoyed at his miss and began charging another attack.

"Fusion..."

"No!" Eiffel warned his partner.

The yell had no effect.

"Ball!"

This time the attack hit a building in Arnett, causing a violent explosion and further disrupting the last lines of defence.

"Eiffel..." Guilmon tried to catch the player's attention.

However, the human was much too busy trying to stop the digimon from uselessly flinging attacks around. Maybe Kalika had it right, he though bitterly, I'm not too much of a threat.

"Vikaralamon, stop it!" he yelled again. "You're causing more trouble than you're helping!"

The large boar swipe low with his snout and caught Volcdramon in the side. The fiery ultimate was sent flying back into the forest, setting trees ablaze upon landing.

"Eiffel..."

"Fusion Ball!"

This time, spurred by his partner's emotion, the nearly rampaging digimon missed his target completely. Eiffel cursed loudly, unable to listen to his companion.

"EIFFEL!" Guilmon yelled loudly.

Eiffel jumped in surprise.

"He can't hear!" Guilmon explained. "We're too small and far from his hears!"

The digimon pointed at markings further away on the ultimate-level's head. Eiffel sweatdropped. There's no way I can get there. Guilmon was already climbing through the thick hair to reach a point where he could talk to the digimon.

"Just yell, I'll tell him!" the lizard exposed his idea.

"Watch out, big guy!"

"No problem!" the digimon retorted confidently.

Just then a stray energy attack hit just a few feet away from Guilmon. He sweatdropped. Meanwhile, Vikaralamon had turned his attention toward Daemon.

"Boar Bog!"

The ultimate generated a black miasma from his moth and launched it at the mega. The thick substance didn't seem to have much effect besides slightly slowing him.

"No, we need to keep watch on Volcdramon!" Eiffel warned his partner.

When Vikaralamon turned back to attack kalika's partner, Volcdramon was nowhere to be seen.

"Oh, bugger..."

[color=green]Rain began to think of the Quetzalmon. Protecting her eggs and villages. Rain frowned. A small voice in the back of her head said what they were about to do was not right. Rain invisioned a little angle popping up on her shoulder and scolding her for even considering such a crule idea. She then imagiend a larger devilish figure appear on her other shoulder and start to praise her for what great fun it would be. Soon both visions began to argue. Rain's Imagination took the two figures from arguing to punching and scratching at each other. This caused rain to laugh.[/color]

[COLOR=Red]Sheath reacted quickly, grabbing a tree branch and flipping herself upright. She scanned the battlefield for Myotismon, Lilithmon or Beelzemon, but there was no sign of any of them. She sighed, and thought about what to do next. Myotismon could be severely injured, the attack that had struck him was a Mega level attack.

But to go through the melee and look for him alone would be suicide. In the end she elected to go find Lilithmon and Beelzemon, hoping that Myotismon could hang on for a little longer.

"Lilithmon! Beelzemon!" Sheath called, jumping down from the tree and on to a Veemon's head, knocking it out. They were by her side in a heartbeat.

"What took you so long?" Sheath asked.[/COLOR]

Instead of closing in and attacking as she'd done before, Kalika was now attempting to stay away from Kiva while she tried to find some way to turn things wround. Kiva was trying to get within striking distance of Kalika and take her down, but so far Kalika was managing to hold the range open.[/color]

[color=#4b0082]Kiva threw one of her weapons at Kalika, who was easily able to dodge. She smiled; Kiva'd just made a big mistake by throwing one weapon. Kiva'd just given up her advantage. Or so Kalika thought. Kiva's known full well how dumb her move had been. She'd made it seem like a last resort, an attempt to take Kalika down after finding herself unable to close in on Kalika.[/color]

[color=#4b0082]Kiva's plan worked well. Kalika was going after the thrown weapon, which was exactly what Kiva wanted her to do. As Kalika bent down to pick up the weapon, Kiva ran at her as fast as she could. Now armed and willing to let Kiva approach, she stood with her weapon ready, expecting Kiva to close in and take a swing at her. What Kiva actually did was throw her weapon as she was closing in. Taken by surprise, Kalika was unable to react quickly enough to dodge it. The weapon hit her with enough force to knock the wind out of her.[/color]

[color=#4b0082]Kiva didn't wait for Kalika to recover. She yanked Kalika's weapon out of her hand and knocked her to the ground. (OOC: Sorry Takuya, I have limited amounts of time to post... so as a result they are short and appear to lack effort.)

[COLOR=Red]Sheath and her companions ran out in the direction that Sheath thought Myotismon had been sent flying. They were a good distance away from the battle field when they had found a track of mud indicating impact. Sheath ran to the end of the track, her companions not far behind.

She found Myotismon in a bad state, he was being deleted.

"Sheath..." he whispered and instantly she knelt down, willing herself not to cry, because crying was a sign of weakness, and she hated to think herself weak. "Thank you..." As she knelt there beside him though, the tears came and she couldn't stop herself. Myotismon reached up and touched her face, touching the tears as if to see if they were real. Then swiftly he was gone.

Sheath knelt there, where her friend had been a moment before. She wiped away her tears and turned to her other two companions. Sheath was angry, and she wanted vengence, and both her companions knew it. They knew they were going back to the battlefield, to kill as many as possible, on either side.[/COLOR]

[color=DimGray]"Rose wh- ARGH!!"

The painful call caught Eiffel's attention. Volcdramon had taken advantage of Vikaralamon's distraction to attack Rosemon again. The mega was seriously low on energy now and it wouldn't take much to kill it.

"Dog pile him, small guy! Don't kill him. I want you to force him to devolve!" Eiffel ordered.

Vikaralamon gave a slightly confused look at his partner, then slammed down on the other ultimate with all his humongous frame and strength. Volcdramon was obviously shaken, but did not seem otherwise harmed.

"We can't let him escape!" Eiffel yelled.

"Boar Bog!" Vikaralamon attacked.

The blackish substance washed over Volcdramon, immediately catching fire from the lava escaping the digimon's back. The fire spread out under Vikaralamon's stomach, who didn't seemed to be affected.

"Don't worry, he can take it!" Guilmon alleviated his worries.

"Yeah, but can they?"

Eiffel pointed to the other fighters that had gotten caught in Vikaralamon's Boar Bog. A small fraction of his mind rebelled at these second thoughts. Your target is Volcdramon. Remember that. Without waiting for his partner's orders, Vikaralamon began to repeatedly slam himself down on Kalika's partner, rapidly wearing him down.

"Now!" Eiffel ordered.

Any more physical damage and Volcdramon risked not to survive an energy attack.

"Fusion Ball!"

Volcdramon had no chance to avoid the attack. It vaporised most of the Boar Bog and any digimon unfortunate enough to be still trapped in there. When the smoke cleared, all that was left was a small chubby violet dragon with wing-like appendages extending from his wrists at the bottom of a large crater. It was battered, burnt and bruised, but it was alive, a surprising feat in itself.

You're strong, Eiffel commented in the safety of his mind, Kalika made you so.

Kalika's digivice gave a long beep.

"Emergency devolution. Emergency devolution. Emergency devolution. Emergency devolution..." a synthetic voice began to repeat.

"Shit," Kalika cursed.

She launched in a series of rapid kicks at Kiva, who had a hard time blocking al of them, and called out at the demon digimon.

"Daemon! Get us out of here!"

"Yes M'am! Flame Inferno!" the attack distracted Machinedramon enough to allow the much smaller mega to slip away. Garudamon attempted to follow after him, but was harshly backended in by the mega's arm and sent tumbling into Machinedramon. Daemon flew at amazing speed toward Kalika and swept down. The young woman grabbed his feet as he flew by. She gave Kiva a look that told in big, 3-feet tall letters, "We're going to meet again." As soon as the player was on board, Daemon turned to catch Monodramon, several hundred feet away.

While they attempted to escape, Machinedramon begin charging up his ultimate attack.

Eiffel climbed down his partner and descended into the crater. Monodramon got up shakily, a visible limp in his left leg.

"Urgh... harsh..." he muttered.

Eiffel kneeled behind the rookie and grabbed it into a tight bear hug, squeezing the air out of the dragon. The digimon felt a tear land on his shoulder.

"Kalika... What's got into you?"

"I'm sorry..." Eiffel whispered blankly.

The digimon panicked and weakly tried to escape as Eiffel's hug turned into a full Nelson.

"Just want you to know. It's not personal."

Eiffel's hands grabbed both sides of Monodramon's head and twisted. With a sharp popping sound, the rookie's neck snapped. For a few seconds the eyes continued to look on in surprise, then the body exploded into purple bits of data.

Kalika saw Eiffel grasping her partner and immediately guessed the impending issue.

"NO!"she yelled out as the played was surrounded by bursting particles.

"Mega Cannon!" Machinedramon's attack was aimed at Daemon's back as the digimon flew over Eiffel's now devolved partner.

Kalika glanced back when she heard Machinedramon's call and saw the massive white energy attack rushing toward the both of them.

"Oh, f-" her cursing was interrupted as she simply bleeped away, replaced by a small floating message: Error, player has been logged off.

Daemon could only yell in pain as he was it square by the attack and deleted.

[COLOR=Indigo]Kalika's quick assault had taken Kiva completly by surprise. That had obviously been Kalika's intention, as she'd taken advantage of Kiva's momentary distraction to bail out. daemon grabbed her and took off, stupidly flying in a straight line. Machinedramon took careful aim and fired. Kalika dissapeared just before the shot his Daemon, finishing him off.

Kalika's defeat had quite an effect on the dragon clan. She'd obviously been one of the attacking force's leaders, just as Megidramon had been. Kiva was willing to bet that there was at least one more leader left, but that probably wouldn't be important. The dragons were already extremly disorganized following megidramon's death, and kalika's defeat only made things worse. The defenders were quick to take advantage of the dragons' confusion. There was still fighting going on, but the defenders had basically already won.

Kiva looked around, trying to see where everyone was. There was garudamon, still with Rosemon. Over there was Machinedramon, who devolved to Hawkmon. And Eiffel... there he was, in a small crater. He looked... well, Kiva wasn't quite sure. He was just standing there.

Kiva climbed down into the crater and approached Eiffel. 'What's going on?" she asked. Eiffel did not reply. He muttered something about killing virtual beings, and that was all he said. Kiva looked around and located Eiffel's partner. Gabumon was climbing down into the crater with Guilmon. Kiva walked up to them. "What the hell happened?" she asked.

"Um... Eiffel just killed Kalika's partner," Gabumon said.

"Oh. Well, the bitch deserved it, and with her reputation, she probably won't be able to get anyone to go after Eiffel in retaliation. She definatly deserved what she got. Was it deliberate, or did it happen accidentally?"

"it was deliberate," Gabumon replied. "He ordered me not to do it, to just get Volcdramon to devolve to the rookie-level Monodramon."

"Uh, yes," Gabumon said.

"Shit! Why the hell would he do that?" Kiva asked.

"it's not for us to tell," Guilmon replied. "It's Eiffel's story. If he wants to tell you, he can, but it's his choice and not ours."

Kiva nodded and looked at Eiffel. [i]Why did he do it?[/i] she wondered. [i]I know he doesn't like Kalika, but killing her partner is a bit extreme. And why the hell did he do it [/i]personally[i]? Kalika, what the hell did you do?[/i][/COLOR]

Eiffel just knelt there and stared at his shaking hand, as if expecting them to disintegrate too any second now. The sounds of battle only carried to him through the thickest of fog. A slow stream of tear began to pour from his eyes. He giggled. Not in a very sane-sounding manner.

"I did it," he hiccupped in the middle of his nervous laugh, adressing nobody beyond himself. "She killed Patamon, and now I got down to her level."

His shoulder moved erratically along with his unsteady giggles. His stomach tried to empty itself, but Eiffel knew too well that would have unwholesome effect back into the real world and he made his best to avoid it. He turned around without really seeing the other and his unnerving laughcame to a sudden halt.

"Remember back in September, when they opened the Arena tournaments? It had just been discovered that killing a partner was three time as experience-worthy than a wild digimon of equivalent level. The matches were friendly. We knew what we wagered when we entered. Or at least we thought so," Eiffel rambledon.

He looked up to the skies with unfocused eyes.

"A short time after the experience allocation algorithm was reworked and it was publicly announced that it did not give additional experience anymore."

A snort.

"Kalika didn't care for agreement. She wanted a powerful digimon. Fast. You know that man who fell in a coma after an in-game 'isolated incident'? It was not even isolated. She hurt people whenever was necessary. I was more experienced. I put up a good fight. Our allies destroyed each otehrs, but our partners wereof same level. There was no way one could destroy the other. They fought until devolution and she just wouldn't give up."

His hands tightened into fists.

"She never gives up until she has lost. She couldn't lose, but she couldn't win either. I don't know where she got that knife she had at the time, but I've never seen anything similar since. She just came and she just, she just..."

He closed his eyes shut, mimicking the gesture. His eyes opened back slowly

"She just gutted him. I know they're just bits of artificial intelligence, but is it still a reason to reject their suffering?"

The man resumed staring at his hands.

"I killed today. No matter how you look at it. I terminated something."
