It was at the dead of night at the busy port town. demons and spirits walking around having a good time. Howl moved through about the crowd, scanning for anything that might lead him to Seymour. The smell of chicken filled the air as Howl was getting much hungry. He took a seat at a food stand and took another glance around. Right by him was the two shadow demons that attacked his castle. they took a seat right by him, but they paid no attention to him.

"Man, boss is going to love us for getting rid of Howl. He might give us somehting speical."

"Didn't he said he wanted him alive?"

"Who cares, His girlfriend that was hanging around Seymour will know where he hides the sacred spell."

Howl gasped silently. They have Sophie? Dammit. He was boiling up rage for his foe, Seymour. He would need to follow these pawns of his and figure out where she is. He let his black hair flow down his face so they wouldn't know who he was at first.

"The next ferry to the bathhouse is in about two hours. Let's eat some before we leave." Howl made a grin. He's at the bathhouse, so that means where Sophie is.

'Hold on Sophie..."

OOC: ok this is where everyone met's, the port city. If you don't know what has happen, its in the adventure in. I am still accepting sign-ups. Here we go!

It was an unusual day for Lady Namiko at the bathhouse, everything seemed lifeless. Of course one could hear Yubaba screaming from all sides and there were the irregular hosts, nothing she had looked upon before.

"Okay everyone, lets make this night fruitful for ourselves!, remember, I'll let you keep 20% of all the profits we make tonight", she yelled to get the lifeless crew working. She felt a strange prescence, not like Haku's but it was another sorcerer in town.

Sophie shook her head, trying to rid heself of the haze that was wrapping her mind with wool. What had happened? She remembered shopping, remembered the banter and bickering for prices that she enjoyed so much . . . then nothing.

Slowly, bracing herself for the pain the light glare would cause to the headache she could already feel building, she opened her eyes and looked about, trying to take in her surroundings. It was definately not a room she had ever been in before. It appeared to be completely wood panneled and floored, and she was laying on a few piled blankets.

Sophie could feel the magic all around her, just like home, but different. This place held no familiar traces of Howl or Calcifer. No inviting warmph for the likes of her. She had the distinct impression from the atmosphere that enveloped this room that she was an unwanted, albiet unwilling, guest -- where ever she was.

First things, first, find out where she was. Then, get back to Howl and the castle.

Gingerly, she rose to her feet, mindful of the everpresent throb in her head. She crossed the humble room and gipped the sliding door. An electric shock sent Sophie staggering back, leaving a few small burns on the tips of her fingers.

"So eager to leave, are you?" An old crone's voice echoed hollowly from the door. "Sit down and relax, girl. You're going to be here for as long as it takes."

As the midnight guests were arriving, Namiko decided to go up to Yubaba's office to inform her of the new guests and give her the list of the new materials listed for the cleaning. When she walked upstairs she noticed Yubaba was with a woman, well at least it looked like it.

"Excuse me.." she walked inside, "Yubaba the inventory release for the month, the river spirits have begun to arrive and the Raddish spirit is getting way too cranky to handle", she said in her joyous nature, then she looked at the girl.

Kiki gripped the broom tightly beneath her as she closed in the port city of the supernatural. She had heard of this place, being a witch, but she had never been here before. She could see demons, spirits, and many other types of creatures roaming the streets, and she could feel utterflies in her stomach, she had never seen so many magical beings in one place before.

"Looks like this is the place Gigi." She shouted over her shoulder. The small black cat was observing everything below them as they flew over the winding paths of the city.

"Looks like it!" He replied. She brought them lower to the ground and touched her feet down softly onto the ground. Gig leapt up onto Kiki's shoulder, and she held her broom at her side. "You better be careful Kiki, not everyone is as nice as you." He stated quietly as so only Kiki would hear.

"Right, now comes the hard part... finding him." She replied smiling.

"Do you know what he looks like?" Gig asked.

"He has black hair just above the shoulder, blue eyes that look like star light, and he wears a blue and pink harlequin coat which he never wears correctly." Kiki replied in a very matter-of-fact voice.

"They were quite specific weren't they? Do you know his name?"

"His name is Howl." Kiki said quietly as she observed those around her looking for anyone fitting that description. From seeing everyone there she began to think that he was probbly going to be the most normal looking person there next to her.

She wandered for almost an hour through the different streets, peeking through shop windows, and glancing at every guest eating at any of the vendors. Thats wehn she caught a glance of him. As she past a vendor she could see the shimmer of raven black hair, she took a second glance, and sure enough he had to be Howl. The young man had silky black hair just above the shoulders, he wore a Harelquin coat of blue and pink, and surely enough his eyes looked of star light. A smile spread across her face as she began to make her way around the vendor to get to him.

"Excuse me, pardon me, sorry, thank you." She stated as she gently pushed her way past the others. "Excuse me, but are you-" She was cut off his gesture of silence, a delicate finger to her lips.

OOC: I found you Howl, but i was careful not to give away your positin! I hope this works for you!

The mysteries girl took a seta by him as the demons kept talking. They kept raging on who could fly the fastest. He was getting tired of listening to them, he looked back at the girl.
"If you would like to talk to me, come." She remained quiet as He lead her out of the food stand and to the large river where the ferry was runing late.
"So, you need something?" He asked as the girl finally speaked.

"My name is Kiki. I'm here to make a delivery to Howl. Which is you of course." A delivery, odd and a bad time too.
"Its not really the best time to get a delivery." The ferry finally floated to the deck. He had to jump on, but he didn't want to leave the girl here.
"Come on." He grabbed her hand and walked to the ferry.
"What are you doing?"

"Someone very dear to me is in the bathhouse, locked up. That is why its a bad time. So Just hang tight with me." They took a spot inside right by numerous of spirits. The shaodw dmeons arrived on the ferry as Howl lead Kiki and her black cat deeper into the boat.

Namiko had a rough time with Yubaba trying to confince her to let the girl go.

"Yubaba, this is nonsense, its just a mortal, we have no more jobs available here!", She shouted.

"Its my decision what is done here Namiko!" Yubaba screamed back.

"If you want me to stay working you better let her go, no spirit respects you anymore because they found out what you turned Chihiro's parents into last time"she said, "I'll make her a contract with me, and she will work for me as my assistant."

"Alright Alright, just make sure she doesn't screw up and don't tell anyone about my secrets anymore" Yubaba said.

Namiko took the girl out of the cell and motioned her to get out.

"You'll be working for me now." she made a contract appear, "Sign in the dotted line, you'll work here for a period of 2 years, you'll be my assistant"

Sophie threw back her shoulders and drew herself up to her full height. "I appreciate your offer, but I already have a job. And it isn't here. I would like you to return me home, if you please."

The old woman cackled with delight. "You've got spunk, girl. That's certain."

"What is wrong with working for me?" The other girl asked, slightly affronted. "It's certainly better than rotting here in this room."

"I refuse to sign away two years of my life after I was forced here against my will. Someone very dear to me is out there, and he's probably worried. I will do whatever it takes to get back to him -- now. Like I said, I am greatful for all your attemps to secure me a more comfortable position than the one I have found myself in. But I won't give up on Howl just to make myself more comfortable, not now, not two years from now." Sophie was close to tears, but she stood her ground.

Yuu Baba cackled again. "She's a wizard's girl, alright. She'd have to be stubborn clear through to put up with one." Sophie was angered by the crone's words, but did her best not to let her fear, desperation and worry show. She just wanted to get back to Howl and go home to Clacifer, Markle and her happiness.

Namiko laughed with Yubaba on the comment, it was rare for wizards to be going out with mortals and since Haku didn't count because he was a River Spirit, this made the night even merrier.

"Yubaba, I guess its up the girl if she stays aint' it", she said between giggles, "He'll probably be looking for her then".

She then looked at Sophie, "Well stranger, my name is Namiko, this over here, this old crone is Yubaba my boss, stay here because he would be probably looking for you" she changed her expression to a serious look, "Spirits here don't take too kindly to mortals like we do"

Kiki walked silently beside Howl as they crept along the ferry to where they would be out of sight. Then after sitting silently for what seemed like forever Kiki whispered somthing.

"I willl help you." Her voice was barely audible. Howl turned his head to look down at the young girl, brushing his silken hair from his eyes. "I know I am only still learning but I can help you. Besides I would hate to see you down because the one close to you has been taken."

"Why is that?" His tone low.

"Because it doens't suit your face." Kiki smiled up at the young wizard. She could sense his power he was far stronger than she would ever be, but she still wanted to help.

Sophie dearly hoped that the girl was correct, and Howl was indeed searching for her in this general area. As close as she had become with the wizard, she still was unsure of the extent of his powers. What if he could find no trace of her? What if the ones who had brought her here got in his way? What if everything was going all wrong, and she had no way to know it.

Shaking her head to clear it, Sophie tried her best to hold tightly to her hope. "What if's" would drive her insane. She had to hang on to the knowledge that Howl would know what to do. "I thank you for the warning." She addressed Namiko. "I fear I have become used to being reguarded with a bit of suspicion. When you live in a moving castle, most people tend to think you strange, even in the nicest instances."

"So why live there? Sounds like a hassle to me." Namiko replied.

"Because it's home. Everything and everyone I love is there." Sophie answered. The moving castle was the first place besides the back room of the hat shop where she truely felt she belonged. And right now, she would do whatever she had to in order to get back to it.

Howl and Kiki got off at the bath house area. The smell of food was stronger then last time. They did seem to lost the shadow demons and began to search for the block heads. The two reached to the steps of the bath house when they spotted the demons talking to a dark haired boy.
"Listen little runt, Seymour wants us to report, let us through!" The boy hold up two fingers and gently blew between the finers as a powerful gust of wind blew the demon back. The demon fell down the steps as his brother went for his aid.
"Yubaba doesn't want shadow demons lirking around the bath house, even if your telling the truth. Your going have to wait till he comes out." He gave a cold stare and walked to the house.
"Any plans?" whispered Kiki as her cat climbed off her shoulder, right beside her.
"None come to mind..." He was tired from the trip to the port and hadn't eating in awhile.

Kiki's thought struck her harder than a hammer when she realized she was holding a flying broom. Of course they could get in without being spotted, she hoped. She took Howl by the hand quickly, taking him by surprise, she pulled him behind the nearby bushes.

"I have a plan." Kiki spoke quickly and quietly. "we can both fly on my broom, and I can take us to a empty side window."

"Both of you on your broom?" Gigi interupted and Kiki ignored him. Howl looked past the shrubery for a moment, the young boy with the chin length brown hair seemed to be almost starring straight at them. But Howl couldn't feel any ill feelings coming off of him.

"Your sure your little brrom can handle us both?" He asked quietly.

"Absolutely, I'm tiny and you're not exactly a large man yourself, and Gigi well he simply goes on my shoulder." She stated matter-o-factly.

"Very well then seems like the perfect plan." Howl replied with a smile, his blues eyes glittering.

"Right then." Kiki remarked positioning her broom for take off. "Simply hop on the back and away we'll go." Howl did as instructed and Kiki brought her broom into the air. Thankfully the bathhouse was on a small cliff so that they could sneek past the bridge of demons and spirits. When they past up their obstacle of people, Kiki brought her broom up higher into the air. They found a samll window that was conected to a small room that seemed to be for storage. They landed gingerly and the two of them dismounted the broom.

"Excellent young Kiki, your plan was brilliant." Howl stated in a whisper. Kiki beemed with happiness from his compliment.

"Alright then" Namiko put her natural big smile and headed to the dwnstairs of the bathhouse.
"Coming?!" she directed to Sophie, "I'm the manager here and if lover boy is looking for you might as well you hang with me, he'll be looking for the manager I know" she laughed, there was a familiar warmth in Namiko, almost motherly.

Sophie sighed. Namiko seemed keen to have help, contract or no contract. At least the demon girl appeared to be good company, if nothing else. This room wasn't terribly accessable, anyway. Going with the girl would make Sophie more visible.

"Well, I don't want to upset your visitors. If you have something for me to do that will keep me from offending them, I'd be pleased to go with you. I never sat still very well, to be honest."

Yuu Baba cackled. "I don't know how well your captors will like having you out and about, but it's free labor and I don't like being ordered around in my own establishmet. Just be sure you keep your head down and your nose clean." She cackled again and vanished.

"Well, come on, then." Namiko hurried her. Both girls exited the small room and headed down the stairs.

Howl looked around the storage room. Some pots, very dusty in the room. He went for the door, but stopped to hear voices.
"Ah, taking a long break is sure good. I wish Namiko would go upstairs to see Yu baba all the time!" more voices, each of them laughing.
"What shoulde we do?" whispered Kiki as Howl thought for a moment. then, another voice rang out.
"Guys, come on! Namiko is coming down!" There was abit shuffle as footsteps echoed and went away.
"Let's go." Howl swung the door open and walked down the hall. At the end of the hall was a railing that showed the core of the bathhouse. Spirits and workers walked around doing their duties and taking a good bath.
"What now? Is she in one of the rooms?"
"First thing, we have to find the demon, Seymour. Where he is, Sophie is. Let's get to it." They raced towards the elavator.

The elevator opened up and inside there was Namiko and Sophie.

"If you are here you must be a guest sir, you must register at the front desk" Namiko teleported with Sophie to the front desk.

"People, we have more guests coming tonight than we expected. get the rooms clean, the bath soaked and remember to keep a smile" she yelled at everyone.

"For all who must not work at the bath for reasons Yubaba is not aware of, please tell me now"
