RPG Animal Spirits II: the war and the new breed

KIya awoke and looked at her children her new friend Zoe who was tending to Tanya who was causing trouble she was a veilosaraptor spirit her power was charging her body with pure energy making her stronger but it only happened when she could see smoke she was using her power to avoid being grabbed so she had to eat her dinner but Zoe caght her eventually Kiya was watching after Kaleb he was a panther his power was he cold use his shadow to do things but only when the moon was out he was the good child he was ready to eat his dinner the Doorbell rang Kiya in her pink apron ran over to the door and opened it there was a message from Tommy saying he?ll be home next week Kiya almost fainted it had been a month sinse he had left and he was finnaly coming home but there was another letter giving her updates on the movement of the New breed a low growl could be heard from her throat they were advancing and coming near Flint and Corneilas home they had a little boy Xaiver everyone called him Xap thogh he was a horse like his mother he could make explosive bombs of any size when he had a flower in his hand she prayed for their safety
?tell the government I cant do anything until Tommy returns so leave me alone? she shouted at the messagner slamming the door she stepped outside thinkig about the old days she went back inside and took a look at the calander it was april 29th her the eqinox would be in two weeks she sighed knowing what that would mean 1st she would drink the anti pregnancy potion so in the event she did mate she wouldn?t get pregangt again then she would lock herself in a room for a week hoping she could tough it out she heard a crash in the kitchen it was Kaleb he had smashed an empty jar trying to use his shadow to get a cookie for him it was the 3rd day of the moon cycle then his power would be inactive for a month the only other time it worked is when the there was a storm going Kiya sighed and laid down on the couch and started to take a short nap waiting for what lie ahead

[Deadpool]

Striker walked down the road. His body had grow a lot stronger through his travels and Moreen had died having birth and the child didn't live that much afteward. Truth be told the only thing that bothered him was the kid dying. He walked up to the door and knocked. Minutes later a little panther kid opened it. then ran iside yelling.

"Mommy, mommy, there is a dragon at the door"

Striker flinched. This wouldn't go over well, since all dragons were a part of the new Impirail group and they terrorized poeple. He was the only one not a part of that group. He could only wait and see what happened

[Apherion]

Swihandrae watched many a people move across the fields around her house. Her parnets were out of the house. Both mortals. Both had raised her after finding her. Usually they kept her locked up tight. Guarding her door, only to let her out every now and then during the day. They were so protective, and it increased when she founded her power when she was thirteen. They feared that she would run away.

The house wasn't guarded for the idiots decided both of them had a separate place to be, and they couldn't hold it off any longer. [I]I was due to leave soon as well. What a coincidence.[/I] A bird flew in threw her open window. It tweeted, unknown to it that she was a cat in human clothes.

"Yes, my parents are dense, thanks for asking." She swiftly left the house, leaving no trace of herself behind. She took her most valuable articles of a wide variety of things she had. A mirror that had a fairy sitting atop it, roses encircling the handle, a black choker with a gold coin, and a golden anklet. She had such strange clothing, but she didn't care. She was free. Things were going exactly how she wanted them too.

[Starwind]

Tommy swung his Wan-dou and brought this so called "mighty beast" of a chimera to it's knees. He sinckerd as the beast moaned in pain on the ground "Some fight. You guys are nothing next to Striker, he was my only worthy opponent." With that said Tommy sliced the beast one last time and in screamed of final scream and fell silent. He sighed and looked to the sky "Soon. Soon I'll be home and I'll get to see my wife and kids again." he smiled and continued north "Gotta keep on the path, wouldn't want some weak little distractions to slow me down." He proclaimed as he marched acroos the mountain path. If he continued at this pace he might even get home a day early. That would be nice, he hated being seperated from him family for so long, but it needed to be done. That much he was sure of. He walked steadily and thought of many different things. He was suddenly hit with a memory of a face he hadn't seen in so long, it was Striker. He hadn't seen him since three years ago, why would he think of him now? Must of had to do with all the fighting he had done as of late. Tommy marched forward awaitng the crest of the mountain, once he made it here he knew that he was half way home. tommy huffed "Some help the government is. They beg for my help, but they won't provide transport there or back. Oh well, at least all this extra walking is keeping me in shape right. That's good since little Tanya is such a little firecracker." He said to himself as he laughed. He could finally see the crest to the mountain, that ment only three more days to go and he'd be home.

kiya's face darkened
"Kaleb come here this instant" Kiya shouted grabbing her Dragon banishing spell she only new 2 dragons that were friendly Moreen who had died but was broght back as again as a LIght Dragon and hangs around her mate all the time tho thats only a specualtion she opened the door slowky
"Str..Str...Striker" Kiya said surprised she also saw Morren wh lightly nessled against Striker in her soul-body she could feel the touch but he couldnt
"what are you doing here" Kiya said

[Deadpool]

Striker smiled as Kiya got ready to fight for her life and took his sowrd out of the sheath and stabbed it in the ground then came and went into his new human appearance. "is that better. I am not here to hurt, merely replace the link that was broken when we were friends. Don't tell Tommy, let me surprise him" He snesed Tommy getting closer. "Better yet here he comes now. Dont worry i won't fight him but just give him a little scare" He powered up sending alrge power wave across the land. "Half-power but should be enough to catch his attention"

[Starwind]

There was a charge of energy through the air, it was coming from his house. Tommy ran quickly, worried for there safety of his family. He charged through the forest. As the trees broke he could see someone standing in front of his house and as he emerged from the forest he saw that it was Striker. He was shocked to see this man still among the living. Tommy braced himself, in fear that he would have to fight him here and now. Suddenly Striker brought his hands up "Hold on there. I'm not here to fight you. Just wanted to scare you a little." Tommy was a little off guard, not sure whether or not to trust him, but then Kiya came out from behind him and nodded to him. She quickly ran up to him and put her arms around him. Tommy chuckled lightly "Sorry it took so long." She laughed backa nd kissed him. It was shortly after he heard tow voices shout out in conjunction "DADDY!!!" Tanya and Kayleb came running down the steps to the house and jumped at him, grabbing him and around his legs. Tommy bent down and put his hands on there heads "You kiddos been behaving for mom?" They both smiled and looked to him both nodded "Yes daddy." Tommy laughed and took them both on his shoulders "Let's head inside." As he walked pat Striker he whisperd to him "The kids are going to bed soon. We'll talk then."

"Daddy" Tanya said as Tommy sat down Tanya had always been closer to tommy as Kayleb had always been closer to Kiya Tanya snuggled in her dads chest giggleing KIya carried Kayleb over to the couch and sat next to tommy she was so happy to see him again tanya and Kayleb started to play so they were set on the floor kiya snuggled up next to Tommy resting on the couch Zoe walked in
"oh tommy meet our Nanny Zoe" Kiya said Zoe smiled
"She's a basalisk, dont be alarmed she's a nice girl she watches the kids while I'm away right kids" Kiya said
"Mhmm Daddy Nanny Zoe is super nice" Tanya said Kayleb nodded
"so how was your trip" Kiya said

[Apherion]

Swihandrae ended up in front of the peoples' house that was about twenty or so miles out of her town. It was an accident that she completely tripped over her own feet, landing an inch away from the dirt. She quickly stood up, and figured she had lauched herself a personal record of ten feet. Ten feet short of the peoples' house. She didn't even know who they were. But they were talking, and kids were there too. She heard the something about a nanny being a basilisk and for someone not to worry. [I]Basilisk? Wait, that's like a snake isn't it?[/I]

She was walking cautiously forward, but not carefully enough for she landed herself in a pile of brittle twigs. She mentally cursed her clumsyness, wishing it were full moon tonight. [I]Hopefully no one will notice and I will be on my way...[/I] [I]If it were only that simple[/I], a snide voice said in the back of her head.

[Starwind]

Tommy sat with tanya on his lap and began to recount the events of his trip. The kids were drawn into the adventure as he told it like an epic tale. Kiya simply watched and smiled. As tommy went on with the story he felt a disturbance, an unfamiliar spirit was near. He heard a noise from outside and stood up "Hold on for a second everyone I'll be back in a minute." he leanded to Kiya "Someone's outside." She nodded back to him. He walked outside, the spirit didn't seem manevolent, but still he couldn't be too sure about this. He walked around back and bumped into a girl trying to hide. She screamed at teh sight of Tommy as he was standing over her, as it seemed she had fallen. She tried to run off, but Tommy took her by the collar of her shirt and lifted her from the ground. He turned her face to look at him "Why are you here?" The girl began to ramble almost immediatly "I'm sorry. I wasn't spying, honest. I.. uhhh.... just got lost in the forest thats all." She squirmed in his grip and Tommy looked her over. He looked her back in the face "Your still just a kid aren't you?" She suddenly looked almost offended "Don't condesend to me. Your not that old yourself, so don't act like an adult." Tommy sighed "Your worse then my daughter. Well, I can't leave you out here. Come inside and I'll get you something to eat." He said like he was giving her a choice, as he still had her up in the air. He walked throught he door and Kiya gasped "Who's that?" Tommy looked to the girl in his hand "I found her around back. I don't think she's dangerous. I hope you don't mind, but I invited her for dinner." As he spoke he saw Kaleb peak from behind Kiyas legs. As he noticed Kaleb, tanya came running up to him "Daddy, who's that?" Tommy smiled to her and he set the girl down "She's a guest, so be polite okay. I need my big girl to be on her best behavior, okay." Tanya nodded her head wildly "Okay daddy." Tommy put his hand on her head "That's my good girl." He kissed her forehead "now go wash up for dinner. She ran off, Kaleb following closely. Once the children were gone he turned his attention back to there 'Guest'. Tommy walked up to her "So why are you out here? You don't appear to be homeless."

[Apherion]

[I]How do I get myself into these messes?[/I] She wondered to herself.

"I'm not homeless. Got bored with my parents lies, seeing as I'm old enough to leave, I did." She paused. "I'm not going back." She thought of anything else that she might want to add. [I]Yeah, why not?[/I]

"Number one reason why I left is because they didn't tell me about my...animal spirit." She thought about it...yeah, if they have a nanny basilisk, then a cat girl who didn't have a reason to harm anyone in this particular room shouldn't be a problem.

"well we welcome anyone" Kiya said smiling the twins returend and bowed and curtseyed politely Zoe went to the kitchen
"dinner will be ready in 15 minutes" Zoe said KIya smiled
"thank you dear" Kiya said
"So dear what is your name" Kiya said
"your welcome to stay as long as you like" Kiya said

[Deadpool]

Striker leaned up against the wall as no one piad attention to him. He was used to that, it was how he lived. He smiled as Tommy and Kiya wrestled with the kids as they tried to take care of them. "Glkad I don't have to do that"

[Apherion]

Rae smiled at the people.

"Swihandrae, Rae for short." She watched the little kids run around almost as if their energy supply would never run out. Their parents seemed to be worn out at the kids' never-ending energy.

"Glad I don't have to do that." She looked around to see who said that. He was just leaning up against the wall... [I]Like a loner.[/I]

[Starwind]

Tommy finally managed to catch Tanya and sat her down at the table as Zoe brought dinner out for every one. Tommy looked abck intot he living room where there new guest, Rae, and Striker were standing proped against the wall "Hey, time to eat you two." He waved them back and they both took there time walking in. The kids were all to excited to start eating almost immediatly. As they did Tommy looked to Striker and Rae "If you guys want to eat you better get a seat or teh kids will eat your food." Rae walked in "Where do they put all that food?" She stood in a state of almost surprise as the kids seemed to be sucking everything off the table. Tommy looked to her "Where did you think all that energy came from? I still don't know where they get there appeitites though." Finally the kids finished eating and Tommy rushed them off to bed. Once they were gone he came back down and sat in the living room with Kiya, Zoe, Striker and Rae. Tommy took a deep breath and looked around to everyone "We have a very real problem I'm sure most of us are aware of." The group with the exception of Rae nodded. Tommy turned to her "A war has started as I'm sure you noticed. The problem is the new group calling themselves the 'New Types'. They believe that the world calls for a new order of being and they believe themselves to be that race of new beings. Me and my wife have been assisting witht he fight as best we can, but we do have our children to consider. With that we coud never take the time neccessary for a major operation, but if you would all be willing to help us, we might be able to pull off a large enough coup that could cripple there forces long enough for the government to put a permenant stop to there tyranny." He looked to the others waiting tosee what responses he might get.

IC: there was a knock on the door an old man walked in
"Who are you" KIya said the man looked and saw a
"I used my power of insight and found you hear I might be able to help" the old man said
"Help? how" Kiya said
he reached in his pocket and pulled out a small vile
"this potion will speed up your childrens age to whatver age you wish them its not permanemt and it wears off after one year but it might help" he said handing her the vile and walked out
"So what do you think tommy" Kiya said

[Deadpool]

Striker was about to eat as Tanya grabbed his food. He caught her by the scruff of the neck and tookkt he plate away. he stared into her eyes. She didn't cry or anything just stared back. "This is the one, that has my power isn't it?"

[Apherion]

Rae sat down and took small, but plentyful bites. The two kids had literally swallowed their food whole, or so it seemed to her. Tommy had paused for a moment.

"I'd be glad to help." She smiled. The parnets nodded. She just had some minor kinks to work out, then she would be ready. Sure, what she could do wasn't very much, but she was a good listener. And on the nights of a full moon you can find out a lot.

Kiya smiled as Tanya and Kayleb yawned she picked them up and carried them to their beds they curled up in her arms she smiled warmly at them setting them down and kissing their cheeks Tanya had grabbed on to Kiya's arm in her sleep not wanting her to leave Kiya replaced her arm with a stuffed wolf and Tanya accepted it snuggling it in her arms she covered her up and left
"good night my little firecracker" she said walking out
"Now to business" kiya said firmly
"especially with you striker why are you here" Kiya said

[Deadpool]

"Can I not come visti the people i tried to kill many years ago? Real reason i am here is because of the little one. The one with my power, she deserves to know everything even though she may hate me and if she doesn't learn to control her power then it will consume her"

Kiya shook her head. "Tommy can do that"

"No he can't, I understand my own power, It took me uears of training in the wilderness to understand. Indeed i have grown far beyond what I was at last time. My power will consume her since I gave it to her when I was wild and reckless. She has dragon blood in her, she cannot escape it"

"I know that but she is only 3 years old you said you would return when she was older" Kiya said
"what can you possibly do when she is at this age sure she shows signs of her power but she barely understands she is a firecracker but so is Kayleb all 3 year olds are so why do you come now" Kiya said

[Deadpool]

Striker frowned. He wasn't getting anywhere. "Use the potion, she will grow up. I can teach her what she needs to know and then when she reaces the age in real life she will already know what she needs too. The blood of the black dragon will have no time to affect her the way it affected and tainted me. She will be pure and the evil power in her will have no affect on her heart. That is why. If you let her grow with out it she my become like i did" He kept himself from glancing at the unsually remarkable girl named Rae beside him.

[Apherion]

Rae looked at everyone. [I]This is serious...[/I] She unconciously bite her bottom lip. [I]I have no idea how bad things like that could get...but still, it sounds catostrophic.[/I] The two parents looked at each other. [I]They can't let that little girl...just... Well, what am I thinking? I have no say about that.[/I] She looked down at her empty plate. She had finished moments before the mom came back saying that they could get on with business.

She gave Striker a sideways glance. [I]He looks...[/I] she mentally slapped herself, [I]lonely...[/I] she invented, though that word was not even in the same field as to what she was trully going for. She mentally slapped herself again, [I]ok, I'm good.[/I] She smiled inwardly. She touched one of her rusty red locks, fiddling with it just a little.

"Tommy whats wrong you havent answered my question" Kiya said rubbing tommys shoulders she licked his face seeing if he would calm down she fingered the potion
"WHat should we do" Kiya said
