Like in the .hack//SIGN series...I care more and more about the story then I do the level of the characters or the experience and items you have. Rare items, and new stuff are rewarded through out events. And you get an upgrade through a special key plot event. Background: Leon was born in the city. His father wanted him to become a boxer, so he trained hard with his father. Thoguh that wasn't the path Leon wanted to take. When he turned 9, he got his first video game from his mother. He began to beat games easily as he seemed to be a pro. Thought he kept his training with his father, he always had time to play on his games.
He loved to play against other people. to test his skills. At school be took down one by one. He would neevr brag about it, not good sportsmanship. He stayed on the honor roll every year as he lived a busy life.
When he turned 14, he made abunch of friends, they too good at video games. He seemed to be the newest memeber of this pack of friends. They got a MMORPG together and played online after school.

Hitari is a bit on the crazy side and can't seem to stand still for 5 seconds (she most likely has ADHD). She is very active and loves to be with her friends most of all. She would do almost anything for them and hopes that they grow old together.

[b]Background[/b]: Hitari was born in Tokyo, a big city where all the big parties were. Hitari's mom died when she was little, so it's always just been her and her dad and growing up without a mother was difficult for her. Her dad tried to help, but let's face it, dads don't know how to be a girl (XP). She was made fun of alot during middle school and was extreamly lonely. Everyday she would walk to school, hoping that it would be a better day.

Then Sakura came along. Sakura was Hitari's only true friend. She kind of "taught" Hitari how to dress like a girl and stuff, but still be the tomboy she truely is. Once High School started Hitari had alot more friends and wasn't lonely anymore. Sakura was also the one who got Hitari into gaming, they spent alot of time in Sakura's room playing RPG's for hours and hours. Hitari quickly became hooked to the gaming world and like to think of video games that could maybe oneday be created.

Third Edge was by far the greatest game Hitari had ever played. For some reason she desided to be a guy even though she was a girl in real life. She desided to be a druid because she thought the name sounded cool ^_^

He has a smooth tounge that can be rather sharp at whim. Kyoske is rather athletic, a would be track star if he wasn't kicked off the team for his lack of respect for authority, as well as a couple mishaps. At heart he is a good kid, but he struggles from depression though he never lets it show leading most to believe in his antic and happy appearance. He values his friends alot and would do anything for them, even though he is a tease. [/size]

At first all went well, thier life was decent, far from perfect but it went well. Kyoske's father was hardly ever home, but as time went on whenever he was home he was drinking and violent. This continued for most of Kyoske's early years. [/size][/color]

His grades had dropped, he had been causing problems in class, as well as around town. Though if it wasn't for that he would have never met the rest of his current friends at the Shrine.[/color][/size]

Though that day it got out of hand, one of the leaders decided to rob a local shop, Kyoske was against it, but was uneasily convinced. It was going fine at first but a Cop happened to drive by as they were leaving. As they all ran to get away Kyoske ended up at a shrine. Quickly he hid though a passing group of kids saw him, right as a cop was searching the area. The cop found him hiding and was about to take him into custody when one of the kids stepped in and said he was one of their friends and they had been playing hide 'n' go seek. The rest of the group followed the lead and the cop let Kyoske go. From that point he has hung out with the kids. His behavior has improved quite a bit, he is still makes alittle bit of trouble here and their, as well as liking mischief but nothing major. He has been able to get the group out of some sticky situations, as well as into some.[/size]

It's been quite a while since you've done an RP, Sakura. This one looks like a lot of fun.



Real World Statistics:


Name: Kiva Salqarian

Gender: Female

Age: 18

Personality: Kiva's one of those people who isn't afraid to tell the truth. If you want an honest oppinion, she's the one to go to. But she'll give you her honest oppinion whether you want it or not. She says what she thinks, without worrying about whether or not it will offend someone. She can be a difficult person to get to know because of this. Kiva doesn't understand why people would ask for one's oppinion if they don't want an honest answer. In fact, she has a poor understanding of most aspects of human behavior. She's not anti-social; she just has trouble understanding people. She's a smart woman, but she doesn't understand people too well.

Physical Description: A little over 6 ft. in height. She's good-looking, but not what people would consider 'beautiful', and she doesn't really care about that. She has no desire to ruin her body just to be 'beautiful'. She's in very good shape, and makes sure to work out regularly in order to stay that way.

Background: Kiva's father died before she was born. Her mother, Selna, remarried when Kiva was only two years old. She grew up believing that Daego, her mother's new husband, was her real father. She didn't learn the truth until she was eight years old. Selna and Daego went through a messy divorce, and it was then that Kiva learnd about her real father.

Selna was granted sole custody of Kiva, and Kiva has lived with her mother since then. Selna never remarried, though there was one man she started seeing. They split up after less than a month. After that, Selna never even tried to find another man.

Kiva didn't understand why her mother had kept the truth about her father secret for so long. Selna kept teling Kiva that it had been for her sake, but Kiva never understood. Eventually, she stopped asking. Neither would mention Daego, because he was cleary a difficult topic for both of them.

Kiva never entered into a romantic relationship with anyone. Oh, there were a couple people who'd tried, but she just didn't understand what they were doing. She didn't understand why they'd go out of their way to please her, or why they'd inconvienience themselves for her sake. And in her usual direct manner, she asked them. She didn't know why, but this seemed to anger them. They'd leave, angry, and she'd never get an answer. No,, she didn't unerstand that, and she didn't particularly desire to. And she didn't really want to be stuck with someone for the rest of her life. She was perfectly content with just her mother, her friends, and the game [i]Third Edge[/i].

Physical Description: Kaia's appearance is that same as Kiva's is in reality. The only diffference is in the outfit. Kaia wears the traditional robe of the spellcaster, though she'll never, ever be seen wearing a stereotypical pointed hat. Kaia's robe is not one of those overly long, flowing robes, as one of those would substantially impair movement, but it is still a robe. Kaia has woven defensive spells into the fabric of her robe, and it serves her as armor would a figher or other such class.

[b]Personality[/b]: Lucian is a pretty carefree dude- not apathetic, just not prone to worry. He's likable and likes people back- not too social, but social enough. He is a pretty sharp guy but doesn't enjoy boasting about his intellect. He loves to just sit back and watch a group work- participation is optional, not mandatory. Not too keen on being a leader, he prefers letting the louder more overconfident people lead. They might mess up but, hey, he'll get a pretty good laugh out of it. To him, life is pretty funny- both the bad, the good and the ugly.

You just have to take it all in stride.

[b]Physical Description[/b]: Lucian is tall- too tall, if you ask for his opinion. Topping in at 6'4 or so, his height is something he quips about pretty often. He has striking red hair that is pretty long, for a guy. He usually keeps it in a pony tail so it doesn't bother him too much. His eyes are a nice, dark shade of green and he is in fine shape. He doesn't work out that much, so he isn't full of muscles- pretty normal looking fellow. There's a small scar on his forehead from when he was messing around as a kid and playing a little [i]too[/i] rough.

[b]Background[/b]: Lucian was born to an upper-middle class family. His parents were very loving and caring to their child- they made sure that he grew up not too spoiled and not too deprived. Even in his youth, Lucian was born to game and he adored doing so. Still, within this virtual adoration, he took time to read many books- both online and offline. He loved books on paper- they were out-of-style in the digitized world he lived in, but he didn't really care. Through this normal childhood he went into school and excelled at most of his courses [ignoring the utterly detestable subject of math].

While in school, Lucian developed his easy going "whatever happens, happens" attitude. Other people seemed to stress about many things that seemed rather trivial to him- why waste all that time worrying? He got along well with most everyone, though some people tried to make fun of him for his rich background or his intellect. He just ignored them and kept on going. The normalcy actually grew boring at times- he wanted adventure, excitement or real drama. Something to break up the monotony of life.

Instead of getting any of that, he got more normalcy- but, hey, that was fine with him too. One day, while praying at a shrine, he met a group of kids his age. Lucian became fast friends with them and, hey, the rest is history. He hangs out with them regularly and he considers them to be his "core" of friends- the best of the best. With all the excitement about the game, Lucian offered to pay for all their accounts so that they could hang out together in it. He couldn't be more content with things, even it is normal.

He cares deeply for his friends and would rather see himself hurt than any of them.
[b]Physical Description:[/b] Corey stands at about 6' 2" with an average build. His love of the outdoors keeps him in good shape. His hair is a sunbleached brown andhis complexion a light tan. He has medium sized bright eyes with a glimmer of happiness almost always in them. The corners of his small lipped mouth are almost always turned upward. He shaves daily.
Corey can usually be seen in a pair of dark jeans with a earth tone tshirt. On cooler days he wears a brown jacket.
[b]Background:[/b] Corey grew up in a rough section of town, but always maintained a positive outlook on life. He never knew how bad in was until they left. But that didn't matter. They moved to a nice place with a lot of trees and fields. He had the time of his life darting into the woods with his friends or running through the fields in springtime, watching the birds and insects scatter around him. In secondary school, he always bothered his science teacher to take them on field trips to the woods, or to a science center at least.

When highschool came, he was all the more psyched about the possible adventures he'd be having. He joined the wrestling team and ranked fourth in the league. He was involved with a few girls, but none that were real. All they were attracked to was his athletic ability and letter jacket.

Every chance he got, he'd go camping with a few friends or his family. But that was before Third Edge. With that game, you could camp any time you wanted. Just jack yourself in and explore. Some things in the digital world will never be as good as nature. But Third Edge comes in a close second.

I think I'll decide along the way who gets parts, if a sign up is very good and I like it then I will tell you guys so those who didn't get the same class has a chance to change their class.

Sakura's an understanding and caring person, though she can get tough and angry if someone insults her honour or someone close to her. She's willing to do anything to help out a friend or family member. Her hobbies are playing computer games, singing, drawing/painting, gymnastics, playing the flute and practising martial arts. Her father was the head of a large gaming corporation and that's how she got into gaming. She was introduced to computer games when she was 6, and she was hooked, her favourite genre was RPGs. In no time she knew how to operate any and all different types of consoles and machines, and she could program anything to what she wanted,and often helped her friends out with it when they needed it.Her father always talked to her about games and as she got older, she was allowed the priviledge of becoming a game tester for his company.

Sakura's father relied on her a lot to test out his games, because she was honest and truthful, saying whether she truly liked it or not and whether she thought the game would be a hit with gamers. Sakura made a lot of friends through school, all of them were game fanatics like herself and they shared strategies and tips in all types of games.

Sakura met some of the party members through school, because several of them are in the same year and they share classes. The others however, she met at the Shrine on top of Sakura Hill. They clicked instantly by their personalities and their shared love of gaming.

When Third Edge came out, she checked it out straight away and gathered up her friends so they could form a party. They all joined up and Sakura chose her favourite class for games; Druid. The group jacked in, they were now the Sakura Hill party.

Age: 17

Personality: True to his name's meaning, Peter is a rock. A boy unwavered by misfortune, though mainly because he has been unhindered by much of his own. Dispite being younger than most of his friends, he is one of the most mature and dependable amoung them.

Physical Description: A large young man. Not quite fat, but broad sholdered and barrel chested without being overly muscular. His most distinguishing characteristic is his shaved head, which he cut after joining Third Edge as a bald monk.

Background: Peter was born to a middle class family in a middle class neighborhood. Most of his childhood was spent in relative comfort, playing baseball, having sleep overs with friends, normal kids stuff. It wasn't until his family got their first computer that he found his true passion in life. Front the moment the computer sprung to life, he became enthralled with it's inner workings.

Through most of middle and highschool, Peter was obcessed with building and moddifing computers. He was even able to set up his own small business, working to help his classmates with their own computers. This gave him the money to stay on the cutting edge.

This also helped him develop his strong sense of resposibility and helpfulness. At first, friends only came to him with techniqual problems. But as time passed, and trust was gained, he became just as strong a source of moral support aswell. Now that he and his friends have become involved in the Third Edge game, Peter has placed himself once again in a supporting role, both in character and as the finacial backer of their monthly expences through his tech support earnings.

It always upset Gabe when he tried to talk to his parents, and his sister would pop into the conversation.

Personality: I suppose you could call him shy, but he's not absolutely silent. He is usually a very cheerful person and is hard to anger, but in the same case, once he's angered, it's hard for him to calm down again. He is very protective of his friends, and even if he knows he can't help, he'll do all he can. He is quite violent at times but never is he serious about it. There is hardly ever a time when TJ isn't confused about something or the other.

Background: Since he's had hand eye coordination he'd been playing video games. Trey was born in the United States into a medium sized family: Mother, Father, 2 brothers and a sister...all older. Since his brothers were the ones who started him in gaming so young, he has become very adept to various types of gaming. However, when his parents had passed on, he was basically by himself. None of his siblings lived in the U.S. any longer...His sister was killed tragically and his brothers left to make an attempt to escape their memories.

TJ ended up moving out to Japan with his older brother, Lee at the age of 13 with no one else to live with. It was fairly hard for TJ to adjust to the new culture and to the language and he still has a hard time speaking Japanese fluently. But one language was universaly to him...video gaming. He found many other students about his age with the same interest in games, especially RPG's, and became close with them, whether it be playing video games or simply hanging out.

When the Third Edge game was released, TJ wasn't sure what to think of it. A game like this was only something he would dream about, but never picture it becoming a reality. Since most of the others chose some sort of fighter, which he prefers, he thought he should keep the team balanced by making a priest for backup, considering it suits his protectiveness. The only thing on his mind now is playing an awesome new game with his close friends.
