duoikari Posted November 24, 2005 Share Posted November 24, 2005 try looking at other mangas to see how they have paneled there mangas and try to see what kinda of styles you like more. Such as the normal style that leaves and about an 1 cm around each panel(but that does look reall crap) or the one where you put the panel to the edge and just work around the other images. Such as this quite popular yaoi manga, i just love the way it is set out. and also think about if your doing the japanese way which by the way this scan is or the american way. kitsunekami Posted December 11, 2005 Share Posted December 11, 2005 paneling is all about being original. pff, not really. but, everyone seems to do it in a different way. so just look at a bunch of different examples. you'll eventually get the idea. i think i saw an exampl on how to somewhere. but remember, this also has somthign to do with how the people are positioned. You Don't Care Posted December 17, 2005 Share Posted December 17, 2005 As long as you follow left to right then down (or right to left then down) rules then wherever the panels may be, along the differences in size of each if you prefer, then it will look good.
