((This idea was sparked by Real Bout Highschool, so no one get mad at me!))

Welcome to Knockdown High. A boarding school deep in the mountains. Here, the kids do not learn about english or math. They learn how to fight. The students tend to have violent tendencies that their parents couldnt handle. So they shipped them off to this school. Now, having become skilled swordsmen and hand to hand, the students have begun to look forward to the one thing that promises graduation from Knockdown. The annual Combat Trials. Held at the end of four years, anyone who enters and wins is graduated. However, this year is different. Several foreign students have been transferred to Knockdown, and they've been causing more trouble then usual.

((Alright. That about covers the history. Your a student at knockdown for whatever reason. You either live in the west dorm (martial arts) east dorm (sword play) north dorm (staff training) or the south dorm (wrestling). For the most part, your characters will train, fight, fall in love, whatever. I'll throw in plot twists here and there. Near the end of the RP, the Trials will begin. You can also be one of the foreign students (basically looking for trouble around every turn) Please, dont sign up if you dont plan on staying. I'd rather not have this RPG start at all instead of dying half way through.

Name: Thomas Kasansky
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: Long black hair, deep green eyes. Tom has a slight tan, and has a slender build which he usually accentuates through loose leather outfits *not gothic mind you, just pale red leather*. He stands at 6'1" and is pretty lanky. His eyes are framed by rimless oval glasses. Since he almost always wears shirts that are just a tad too small, his stomach often shows when he raises his arms.
Dorm: East
Bio: After getting caught in a huge riot, he was sent to Knockdown to help his anger. Though an excellent swordsman, he's one of the few students who wont start the fights but sure as hell will finish it. He takes training very seriously, and is rarely seen slacking off. Wields a bastard sword with deadly skill. Tom hates his family, and will never answer questions about them.
Personality: Very bad temper control. Usually very serious about his training, to the point of fanaticism. Tom always keeps his word, no matter what, even to his enemies. Prefers his own company to that of other people. Has a love of animals, especially dogs. However, his inward drawn nature tends to repel potential friends, and Tom is always struggling to get out of the loner role.

Bio: Lee's life was completly destroyed by one of the most wealthest man in the nation. He killed his parents, made him kill his own friend and toyed with his friend's lives. Lee had killed his strongest swordsmen and ninjas and even took the man's life, but the cost was great. Alot of people thought he died when he and the man fell from the mansion top. When they where putting away Lee's body, it was gone. No one knows if he's dead or alive. Lee though left his old life to start a new one, traveling the world. 4 years of traveling and he lands at the knockdown high. He was accepted and turned to a new student in the west dorm.

Personality: Lee can be laid back and can instantly turn serious. He challenges himself to become the best athlete around. He wakes up early in the morning to run 5 miles a day and runs 5 miles at night. He not the world's smartest person, but he isn't stupid ether. He once was in his past life very popular for the number of sports he does at school. He had many friends.[/FONT]

She just pushes a button in the middle of the staff, and it sends a spark to the ends of the staff catching the staff on fire.

Bio: Kara had always been the rebelious spoiled little rich girl, who hung out with wrong crowd. She loved to fight other rivel gangs and had been arrested a few times. On her fifteenth birthday she snuck out with her boyfriend, and was caught when she got home. The next week she was sent to Knockdown high with other teens like her.

Personality: Kara is a bada** b**ch. She hates anyone weaker than her, and won't give anyone any respect inless they're higher ranking or beat her in a fight (wich isn't very easy). She doesn't hold back for anyone, that includes begginers. If their stupid enough to fight her anyway, then they deserve to get the sh** beat out of them

She loves other bada**es like her, and will usually be seen hanging around them. If there's any fighting trouble around school she's usually part of it.

[size=1]Bio: Matthew was a very quiet student at his local high school. Always hanging out with the nerds and other various 'lower than s**t' people as most of the preppier people called them. He never really got in trouble with the school or the law and always took the embarrasment and being made fun of with a light hearted exterior. But inside, he was reaching his boiling point. Suddenly, one day, when someone started talking bad about his dad, Matthew went off. He caused 2 students to have concussions and 7 more to have various broken bones. After a lengthy court case, Matthew was sent to Knockdown High School to let out his feisty temper and also to hone his fighting skills. He has been at the school for 3 years.[/size]

Due to this, he is able to manipulate his spiritual energies for fighting, but only slightly. He doesn't like to fight and really doesn't like to get angry.[/size]

Bio: Jake first came to Knockdown after a real bad day. Jake is usually found at a gym or lifting his own weights or doing some other physical workout. One day, after a workout at a close-by gym, he found 2 guys hassling a young woman. He walked over to check out the situation further and one of the men pulled a knife on him. He lunged at Jake, but was met with a kick to the back of the head, following through and untintentionally stabbing his cohort. A nearby cop thought that Jake had stabbed him, and arrested him. After 6 months in jail, he was sent to Knockdown.

Personality: Jake is a somewhat blunt guy. If he had something on his mind, he has no hesitation to revealing it. He is very kind to those he is close to, which is a relatively large amount of people. He will, however, make an effort to get to know someone, if he feels that an altercation would not occur.

So far so good, although why people always give their characters special powers in my RPGs I dunno...I never really wanted them to. Oh well, it'll make it more interesting, so long as it doesn't get DragonBall-ish. Lionheart, you're picture doesn't work for me. I'll wait another day, but we actually have enough people to start, so I'll start it either tomorrow or the next day.

Bio: Donya was trouble form the moment she learned how to hit. She began training on her own when she was young and worked from there. She seemed to constatly get into the natyiest of street fights. She became the leader of a street gang at the age of 14, getting into a bad street fight late one night she was arrested as the police were called to break up the disterbance. At the age of 17 now her parents didn't kmow what else to do, she was never home and she had become addicted to alcohol, she had become to much for them to handle. At the end of their rope and as a last resort the decided to send her to Knockdown High in hopes of gettign her attitude in check.
Personality: Donya has a nasty temper when she's mad, she is a cold person to talk to but very loyal. Hardly ever smiled uless it's sarcastic, she hates to have people who seem to want nothing more then to get into her bussiness around her. She seems unfriendly but when she finds someone she likes she sticks by them like family.

Bio: Tory was a problem child from birth. Many people believe that your up bringing effects how you are as an adult, thus if he's bad it's because his parents messed him up. I'll tell you right now that's a load of crap, he tortured them not the othere way around. When he was 17 they finally sent him away tol this school, a place where he would fit in. He has always had an affinity for fighting, he loves to do it and is good at it. He speacializes in sword play, but has been known to pick fights in the other dorms. For him fighting is fighting and it's the only way he can really express himself. He's not a killer, but he is a prety bad winner and an even worse loser. He won't put real salt in your wound, but the perverbial stuff he'll jam in there nice and tight. The staff both love and hate him, he's a high honors student, but is quite a trouble maker so there never sure what to do with him. He heard these new foriegn students were oming and this has gotten him very excited.

Bio: Her father and mother hated Faith. She never was a child to control. She would always disobey them. Maybe is the reason because she would get severely punished for every little thing she did. Stained her clothes, missed one problem on her homework, or got one bad test grade. Later on the years Faith fought back. When she was on the verge of being punished she would flip her mother over to hurt her back. As for her father she would break every bone of his body possible. It came to a point where it became a habit to hurt her parents also it became addicting. After getting sick of paying hospital bills and countless of therapy sessions her parents sent her to Knockout to fulfill her violent nature.
Personality: Likes to do things the hard way. Prefers the loud and noisy type places other that nice and quite. When is too quite she goes insane and try to make trouble. Other than that she is usually quite, seems harmless and nice. Like to ask the question ?Which is better slow and painful or nice and quick?? yet doesn?t like people answering her question. Bio: A girl raised in a household that was pleasant but she had too much energy for her parents to handel so they sent her to knockdown thinking it was a bording school boy were they wrong but she absolutley loves it there and wouldnt change it for the world
Personality: she is a very happy girl very energenic she uses her oasis staff to beat up her enemies her speacil move is tossing her staff at her opponets then running up and hitting them again she is also very romantic and likes to fall in love

Appearence- Kelna weards a traditonal uniform of the Swordmasters of old. It is a basic Kimono the bottems are black while the Hatamono is a dark characoal. Standing at 5'2 she is a rather small woman but her body is well toned for her age. Long indigo hair covers her shoulders however she holds it in a top-knot tyle of style the bangs falling over her eyes to give a feminine appearence.

Dorm- east/west

Background- Kelna always had followed the code of the warrior her own way of Bushido. However after her father was murdered at a tournament she became hard to control. An anger had risen. She decided to go Ronin disgarding the ways of the warrior to become hateful and use her skills in Jujistu and Hikarai Hiten Mitsurugi swordstyle for better uses. Such as condeming those she thought deserved punishment into hell. Her family finally got tired of her antics and raging hate and transferred her to a school for the indescent. Where she now resides.


Personality- Kelna is quiet yet has a masochist way about her. She loves causing pain and torment to others. She hates to fall in love and cannot stand the thought of showing affection.
