RPG Chaos Eaters: The Evolution [M-LVS]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]As Brady charged the beast, at the moment before he was within range of the eater he was sure the Eater had given him a wicked smile. Then it move fluidly out of the of Bradys blade, Brady instantly shot himself off of the nearest wall straight for the Eater, it moved again this time back handing Brady with its front paw. Brady flew into the wall and slammed into the ground, he stood up and shook himself.

"It's faster then I thought. What the hell is going on? Noone told us it was this smart or fast. Someone down at the agency is gonna get hell for this."[/B] Brady spun his blades and readied himself once more, this time the creatuer charged Brady. As the creatuer was a foot away Brady ran straight up the wall he hand been thrown into and dropped down on the beast, stabbing his blades into it's spine. It screamed in pain.

"Ha you bastered! Hope you liked that. Now die!"[/B] The creatuer instantly snatched brady and tore him off, Brady tearing out the blades and leaving horrible gashes in the back of this creatuer. Seeming uneffect by the wounds now present on its back, the creatuers intelligence seemed to melt away and it took on a vicious natuer. Not exposing it's teeth but showing it's claws, revelaing the tearing power it had under its cool exterior. Brady readied himself again and his face darkned, the wound on his arm flared all of a sudden and Brady went down on his knee.

"Ahhhh, what the hell. It burns!"[/B] The eater saw this as a weak moment and made his way to Brady, as it hovered over him and rasied on clawed hand three bullets lodges themselves in it's body and turned and saw Kei weilding the new weapon. [/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Deadpool]

This post will be deleted. The lab is not at teh school. The lab metioned at teh very begining is where the last battle is. The school was merely a diversion as you would have found out later.

[COLOR=Indigo]Kei quickly fired off three shots keeping the eater from attacking Brady who had fallen to one knee. It turned and stared at Kei as if debating which target to attack. Kei put the gun away and pulled out the blades that Brady and loaned him. This thing was going to be interesting to take down and he was better with blades than with a gun.

Kei started to back away slowly and the Eater took that as a sign of weakness and ignored Brady to come after Kei. [I] That?s right.[/I] Kei thought. [I]I?m the one you want. [/I] He continued to back away slowly. Kei wondered what was wrong with Brady, as the Eater hadn?t hit him.[I] Did he get hurt earlier?[/I] Kei wondered. [I] I hope he?s all right. [/I]

With a suddenness that was amazing the creature lunged at Kei, but he had been expecting it and he step sided neatly to avoid the attack thrusting the blade out to the side in the creatures path. The momentum of the attack resulted in the Eater being neatly sliced open along its right side. In spite of the horrible wound it turned around and leaped again.

Kei could hear Brady struggling to get up behind him and once again he step sided the creature?s attack, this time slicing it open on the left side. It stumbled when it landed nearly sliding into Brady who was back on his feet. Distracted by Brady who was right in front of it, Kei took advantage of the distraction to bury both blades deeply into its back spine. It howled in pain and when it raised its head Brady took advantage of the situation to ram one of his blades into its skull.

Both Kei and Brady pulled the blades free and stood back as the creature twitched a few times before finally dying. Brady swore and leaned back against the wall.

?What happened? Are you all right?? Kei asked. When Brady didn?t answer Kei took a moment to clean the blades before sheathing them and then waited to see what Brady said.[/COLOR]

[Darth Vectis]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Brady sighed and cleaned off his blades as well and sheathed them. He pulled off the left side of his cloak and looked at his arm, from the tips of his fingers to his elbow was engulfed in a red and black virus. He squeezed his hand into a fist.

"What the hell is wrong with you arm?"[/B] Brady shook his head and turned his attention to Kei.
[B]
"This is what happens when you are scratched or bitten. They are very infectious. It's changing my body into an Eater. I only have a few hours or so before it takes my whole body."[/B] Kei looked at Brady.
[B]
"That would explain why you needed to know if anyone was scratched by the Eaters."[/B]
[B]
"Yes, and judging by my arm I have about 4 or 5 hours left."[/B]
[B]
"We we better find Diaga and the others to get it checked and treated."[/B] Brady nodded his head.

"Good idea, now lets go."[/B][/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Starwind]

Scott heard the beast scream in pain as it flailied horribly, Ross had shot out both it's eyes and it was beaing violently. Scott saw his chance, and rushed the beast running up the chest, up to the head and rammed both his blades through the roof of it's mouth. He pulled them free quickly and landed back on the ground, the beast stummbled a bit and fell with a thunderous slam. Scott put his blades away and walked to the beast to make sure. Sure enough, it was dead as a door nail. He stepped back and sighed in relief "Well, that's taken care of. Nice work Ross." She smiled and nodded back "Did you ever have any doubts?" Scott smiled and looked to the door "We need to find the others, let's hurry." She walked up to him "We just brought down that big mother, why are you so tense?" He looked to her "Because I get the feeling were looking in the wrong spot." She had a puzzled look on her face as he ran out the door to find the others before it was too late to act.

Mae turned down another hall on her way back to meet up with everyone when she spotted Lilith in the middle of her hit-and-run tactic. [COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]"Would you like some help?"[/COLOR] she asked quietly. Addressing people was still awkward and having a conversation wasn't the easiest thing around.
[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]"That'd be nice."[/COLOR]

Mae helped Lilith take down the rest of the group that was following her. [COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]"The last of the stragglers are being taken care of, and then we're pulling out I think."[/COLOR] she said effectively stabbing one.
When all of them were finished off, the two ran outside to join up with everyone.

[SlowChemical]

[SIZE=1]Lilith gasped for air completly out of breath. She wiped the sweat of her forehead and stood up straight.
" God I hate these things...." Lilith said " Why can't we torch this place instead? Hey lets through in a couple of teachers in there too..." She saw Mae look at her. I guess Mae was wondering if she was joking or not. Lilith grinned and shook that comment off.
"Well lets get going sha'll we. Ladies like ourselves can leave people waiting on us all the time..." Lilith said [/SIZE]

[Deadpool]

Diaga watched as the school was cleared and everyone began packing back up. "We got another assignment. The lab is where these things came from." He speed off with the others right on his tail. He soon turned down a drit road and flew up a hill. All four tires came off the ground then landed softly." Glad i got good shocks" He saw Chase's truck follow him, not as graceful but still got plenty of air time. Soon Daiga stopped as a part of the ground lifted up revealing an entrance. "Let's lock and load" He sent a shower of dirt as he took off down the entryway.

[I]'The Lab eh? So we're going straight into the ninth then?the final stretch. Unless there's overtime of course.'[/I] The building came steadily closer, the doors were already wide open, with Eaters milling about. They looked different though. Some of these ones had blue. As vehicles came to semistops, Mae jumped out to get a better look at the things. [COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]"Well, I think we found the new guys,"[/COLOR] she muttered under her breath that nobody heard her.

Mae locked eyes with one of the Soul Eaters and froze in her tracks. Something was tugging at her insides. She walked forward a few steps, but her hands weren't on her blades. The Eater was heading her way, but fell dead with a shot between the eyes. She shook her head in an attempt to clear it with a light smack to her own forehead. [COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]"Focus."[/COLOR]

Mae looked up again saying, [COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]"I am never looking those things in the eyes again."[/COLOR] It earned her a weird look from all those in earshot and she wished for a brief moment to shrink back into the background.
