Discuss OtakuBoards Apprentice: Plumber Extraordinaire [PG]

Most anyone who watches Survivor, knows that when it ends the Apprentice comes on. Since taking part in OtakuBoards Survivor in the Adventure Square, I decided to work on an RPG that would follow it. Thus I started work on OtakuBoards Apprentice: Plumber Extraordinaire.

[strike]This will be a Mario and friends RPG with 10 contestants all competing to claim the title of Plumber Extrodinaire, as a temporary replacement while Mario is gone (playing OtakuBoards Survivor: Game On!). [/strike] [b]EDIT:[/b] The story is now about Mario and Luigi getting a new partner.

Each week, there will be a new challenge for the contestants to do. When the last person has posted, I will judge who wins by taking in the following factors:

[*]Writing Quality
[*]Writing Quantity
[*]Writing Creativity

I will then announce a few players who did [i]not[/i] win and they will meet Mario and Luigi in the board room where he will send one of them home. I will also announce who did the best post and they will be exempt from going into the board room the next round.

The rounds will go on until there are only two Apprentices left and they will submit their posts for the final challenge and I will create a poll where all of OB will decide who wins the title of...

I will not make a list of characters for members to choose from, but I will [i]not[/i] accept the following characters...

I think it sounds like an awesome idea and it goes along with the Survivor RPG really well. Plus, I really like the games that have clasic character like Mario, Peach, ect. I've never really watched the actual show "The Apprentice", but I get the idea on what it's about and stuff.

I was just curious, what would an example of one of the challenges be like? [/size]

"Bowser has stolen some goods from the local shop! You have to stop him!" And you would write a one post adventure of your character going through minions and such and fighting Bowser.

[size=1]Sorry mate. I think it's a good idea, but I just don't have the time as of late. Plus, I'll admit, although I love Mairo, I know next-to-nothing about him, and his 'world' as such. Love the idea though :)[/size]

The reason I didn't just launch it straight away is because

I'm thinking, if I don't get alot of members signing up, I'll just change the concept to [i]all[/i] video game characters and re-do the story. Although, I hope it doesn't come to that.[/color]

[SIZE=1]That's exactly what I was thinking when I first read the title, though I must admit I do find the premise to this RPG to be intriguing. I've only seen one or two episodes of The Apprentice and both of them being the UK version of the show, still it's interesting and I'll definitely give it a shot when it starts. [/SIZE]

Mhmm. I do have to admit I was inspired by OtakuBoards Survivor [I]and[/I] Plumber Bros. Inc. combined (along with the Mario games, of course).

I might wait a bit before starting this. Longer then I normally would have because there are some people I talked to who want to join but can't as of now (including myself).

But I hope discussion about this RP can continue so it is perfect when it's in the [b]Adventure Inn[/b].[/color]

[color=teal][size=1]I've got to be honest, at first I wasn't really that interested in this RP but luckily for you I've suddenly had an upsurge of "Mario-ness" injected into my system with the up-coming release of [b]"Mario Smash Football"[/b] (Now as "Super Mario Strikers") elsewhere I believe. Now that I'm up for joining this I have a question:

Could Waluigi (Or Wario I suppose) take part in this as some kind of sabotage attempt to the Plumbing business, I know he and Luigi don't get along well but thats the beauty of it.[/size][/color]
