Sara
Ninjah--The dino was drawn in Flash, the tree was done in Illustrator. The chameleon was drawn by hand, scanned, and auto-traced into vector format. And yeah, I guess I still need to tweak out the chameleon colors before I submit it. We'll see what happens when I get back to that. Right now, however, I totally dropped the lizard and started on something new: Everything here was sketched in my notebook, then traced in Illustrator. Not happy with the colors on this one, either, but I'm ever so pleased with the artichoke. And for purposes of this shirt, everything above is considered a vegetable. ;) It's a work in progress (everything you see was done in a marathon this afternoon/evening/night), so input would be grand. John
You've got too much talent for your own good. Amazingly, I didn't catch the "finish your vegetables" until a few minutes of looking at it, lol. You *might* want to switch the "your" and the peas around and see how that looks, but I think it was most likely just me. >_>; As for color, you might want to make the colored vegetables more saturated, but other than that, this design is just fantastic. As for the chameleon, I'll agree that the colors looked fine, but it just didn't go too well with the subject matter, I thought. You might go ahead and use either of those, but I'd throw in some more along with it. If any shirt should be printed in several colors, it should be this one. :p

The peas are actually there because the tomato didn't fit under the eggplant the way I wanted it to. I moved it over, and then threw the peas in there because it looked empty, heh. I'm still not really happy with how they fit in that space (I've rearranged and resized them so many times), but I think this is the best of what I've tried so far. And, augh, colors! I am having an awful time with the vegetable colors. I think they would look better, brighter, but whenever I make them less "chalky," the contrast with the green just looks awful. I know it would look just great in person, but on a screen it's kind of wonky. I'm not sure what to do. --------- Edit: Up for scoring!
